Shield TBM에 적용 가능한 전기비저항 기반 터널 굴착면 전방 예측기술 (Predicting ground condition ahead of tunnel face utilizing electrical resistivity applicable to shield TBM)

  • TBM으로 시공되는 터널은 기계에 의해 전단면 굴착(full face tunnelling)이 이루어지므로, 굴착면에 접근하는 것이 매우 제한적이다. 이러한 한계를 극복하고 TBM 터널에서 굴착면 전방의 지반상태를 정확히 예측할 수 있는 기술은 매우 드물다. 본 연구는 TBM에서 전기비저항을 사용하여 굴착면 전방의 이상지반을 예측할 수 있는 TBM 비저항 예측(TRP)시스템을 개발하고, TBM 현장에서의 적용성과 예측 정확성을 검증하기 위해 EPB 쉴드 TBM으로 시공 중인 지하철 터널에서 현장 실험을 수행하였다. TBM 비저항 예측 시스템은 전극을 사용하여 지반의 전기비저항을 측정하고, 이를 바탕으로 역해석을 수행하여, 이상지반의 위치와 두께 및 전기적 특성을 예측한다. 전극이 부착된 강관을 유압으로 굴착면에 압입하여, 전극이 지반과 완전히 접촉하도록 장치를 제작하였다. 또한, 전극이 챔버 내부를 관통하여 나아가도록 하는 동시에 토사유출을 방지하도록 설계하여 현장에서의 전방예측을 가능하게 하였다. 1차 실험 결과, 굴착면 근접 지반과 굴착면 전방 지반의 전기비저항 및 유전율이 동일하게 나타나 이상지반이 존재하지 않음을 예측하였다. 2차 실험 결과, 굴착면 전방 약 1 m 지점부터 상대적으로 낮은 유전율 비를 가지는 이상지반 구간이 약 5 m 길이로 존재함을 예측하였다. 이는 각각 지표에서 물리탐사 또는 시추를 통해 조사된 지반상태 및 TBM 굴착 중 예측 구간에서 반출되었던 버력을 관찰한 기록과 잘 일치하였다.

  • 시공 중에는 시공 하중의 영향으로 인하여 슬래브에 재하되는 하중이 슬래브 자중의 두배 이상에 달하며, 또한 콘크리트 재령이 충분치 않으므로 구조 안전성의 문제와 장기 처짐, 균열 등 사용성의 문제를 일으킬 수 있다. 현행 설계 기준에서 제시하고 있는 플랫 플레이트에 대한 최소 두께의 규정은 이러한 시공 하중의 영향을 고려하지 않고 있다. 본 연구에서는 기존 연구를 토대로 슬래브의 기하하적 형상, 경계 조건, 콘크리트 강도, 시공 하중 등의 영향을 고려할 수 있는 플랫 플레이트의 처짐 계산 방법을 개발하였으며, 이 방법을 기초로 하여 플랫 플레이트에 대한 최소 두께식을 제안하였다.

Study Chinese operas named after the names of traditional Chinese apparel and accessories

  • Traditional Chinese operas are time-honored art form, they are vivid in expression, rich in content, embody social, thought-provoking, historical and artistic value. And as a splendid art form and part of China's brilliant traditional cultural heritage, traditional Chinese operas have been developed with Chinese history from generation to generation. Nowadays, with the comprehensive national strength increasingly growing, Chinese government is giving more and more importance to enhance people's awareness of protecting traditional Chinese opera. In actual fact, both Chinese scholars and the other scholars who have done some research in traditional Chinese operas and built up solid foundation for further study. Even though, traditional Chinese operas have not been fully understood by people outside the 5000-year-old civilization, especially what is the close relationship between the apparel and accessories and the names of dramas. Based on this condition, the paper selects and summarizes names of apparel and accessories in traditional Chinese dramas as its thesis, intending to explore the relationship between the apparel and accessories and the names of dramas, analyzing how such names in dramas highlight themes and promote the development of unique storylines. The paper will help Western readers further understand the meaning of traditional operas names' behind these costumes and promote Chinese traditional dramas spreading to abroad.

A Boundary Element Solution Approach for the Conjugate Heat Transfer Problem in Thermally Developing Region of a Thick Walled Pipe

  • This paper presents a sole application of boundary element method to the conjugate heat transfer problem of thermally developing laminar flow in a thick walled pipe when the fluid velocities are fully developed. Due to the coupled mechanism of heat conduction in the solid region and heat convection in the fluid region, two separate solutions in the solid and fluid regions are sought to match the solid-fluid interface continuity condition. In this method, the dual reciprocity boundary element method (DRBEM) with the axial direction marching scheme is used to solve the heat convection problem and the conventional boundary element method (BEM) of axisymmetric model is applied to solve the heat conduction problem. An iterative and numerically stable BEM solution algorithm is presented, which uses the coupled interface conditions explicitly instead of uncoupled conditions. Both the local convective heat transfer coefficient at solid-fluid interface and the local mean fluid temperature are initially guessed and updated as the unknown interface thermal conditions in the iterative solution procedure. Two examples imposing uniform temperature and heat flux boundary conditions are tested in thermally developing region and compared with analytic solutions where available. The benchmark test results are shown to be in good agreement with the analytic solutions for both examples with different boundary conditions.

동심환형 곡관의 혼합대류 열전달 현상에 관한 수치적 연구 (A Numerical Study on Mixed Convection Heat Transfer in Concentric Curved Annuli)

  • 동심환형 곡관의 내벽면에서 일정한 열전달이 있는 경우에 대하여 혼합대류의 유동장 및 열전달계수를 수치적으로 구하였다. 유동장은 주흐름방향으로의 압력과 온도구배가 일정한 완전발달흐름으로 가정하였다. 유동장의 특성을 나타내는 물리적 변수인 반경비는 0.2, 0.5, Grashof수는 8000, 80000 그리고 Dean수는 0-900범위에서 계산을 실시하였다. 반경비, Grashof수, Dean수를 변화시키며 2차유동, 열유속, 마찰비, 열전달계수에 대한 수치해를 구하였다. 마찰비와 Nusselt수는 Dear수의 제곱근에 비례하게 증가됨을 볼 수 있다.

  • In this study, quantitative analysis for the quality evaluation of Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix using HPLC/UV was developed. For quantitative analysis, six major bioactive compounds were determined. The separation conditions employed for HPLC/UV were optimized using ODS $C_{18}$ column ($250{\times}4.6\;mm$, $5\;{\mu}m$) with gradient condition of A (1% formic acid in $H_2O$) and B (acetonitrile : methanol : formic acid = 100 : 75 : 1) as the mobile phase at a flow rate of 1.0 mL/min and a detection wavelength of 280 nm. These methods were fully validated with respect to the linearity, accuracy, precision and recovery. The HPLC/UV method was applied successfully to the quantification of six major compounds in the Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix. The results indicate that the established HPLC/UV method is suitable for the quantitative analysis.

  • The maximum output torque developed by the machine is dependent on the allowable current rating and maximum voltage that the inverter can supply to the machine. Therefore, to use the inverter capacity fully, it is desirable to use the control scheme considering the voltage and current limit condition, which can yield the maximum torque per ampere over the entire speed range. This controller is controlled speed and current using hybrid PI(HBPI) controller and estimation of speed using ANN. Also, this paper is proposed control of maximum torque per ampere(MTPA) of induction motor. This strategy is proposed which is simple in structure and has the honest goal of minimizing the stator current magnitude for given load torque. The performance of the proposed induction motor drive with maximum torque control using HBPI controller is verified by analysis results at dynamic operation conditions.

  • 선박이 횡경사 되었을 때, 그 발생 원인을 파악하고 적절히 대응하는 것은 매우 중요하다. 특히 최근 발생한 대형 해난사고 중 일부는 항행중 복원력 감소에 의한 횡경사와 관련된 것으로 추정된다. 본 연구에서는 음의 복원력(-GM)에 의한 선박의 횡경사를 실험하고, 그 값을 동일 조건에서의 계산값과 비교하였다. 또한 Loll과 List를 구별하는 것과 Loll 발생 시 대응방안에 대해서 기술하고자 한다.

황천시의 항해안전 평가시스템 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Navigational Safety Evaluation System in Rough Sea)

  • It is of great importance for any vessel under way, especially in rough sea, to be maneuvered safely with proper seakeeping performance. In this paper, the author aims to develope a navigational safety evaluation system in rough sea by analyzing ship's with the theory of wave spectrum using random process analysis and the theory of evaluating the seakeeping performance. The scope and the method of this study are as follows ; (1) Modelized typhoon mathematically to represent the sea condition in rough sea. (2) Estimated sea conditions by getting wave spectrum, supposing that the wave by typhoon is fully developed short crest irregular wave. (3) Defined evaluation factor of vessel's seakeeping performance and obtained response amplitude operators thereby. (4) Obtained the response spectrum of factors on seakeeping performance. (5) Defined and obtained evaluation index, dangerousness, relative and maximum dangerousness of factors on seakeeping performance. (6) Analyzed the calculated dangerousness of evaluation index and picked the vertical acceleration out of 7 factors as the presentative factor on seakeeping performance. (7) Carrid out the judgement of danger by obtaining dangerousness value according to steaming hour, course alteration and speed change. By synthesizing the above items, the authors suggests a computer model of navigational safety evaluation system and examined the validity of the model by computer simulation.

원형 덕트유동에서의 Graetz 문제에 대한 이중교환 경계요소 해석 (Dual Reciprocity Boundary Element Analysis for the Graetz Problem in Circular Duct)

  • The dual reciprocity boundary element method (DRBEM) is used to solve the Graetz problem of laminar flow inside circular duct. In this method the domain integral tenn of boundary integral equation resulting from source term of governing equation is transformed into equivalent boundary-only integrals by using the radial basis interpolation function, and therefore complicate domain discretization procedure Is completely removed. Velocity profile is obtained by solving the momentum equation first and then, using this velocities as Input data, energy equation Is solved to get the temperature profile by advancing from duct entrance through the axial direction marching scheme. DRBEM solution is tested for the uniform temperature and heat flux boundary condition cases. Local Nusselt number, mixed mean temperature and temperature profile inside duct at each dimensionless axial location are obtained and compared with exact solutions for the accuracy test Solutions arc in good agreement at the entry region as well as fully developed region of circular duct, and their accuracy are verified from error analysis.
