동충하초 추출물과 백삼추출물 투여가 방사선을 조사한 생쥐 간에서의 glutathione함량에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of glutathione contents of White Ginseng(WG) Extracts and Entomopathogenic Fugi Extracts on the liver in Mice that was irradiated by radiation)

  • 본 연구는 선형가속기의 고에너지 엑스선을 조사한 생쥐 간에 대한 백삼과 동충하초의 방사선방호효과를 연구하였다. ICR계 수컷생쥐 군에 7일 동안에 경구적으로 백삼(150 mg/kg/day)과 동충하초(200 mg/kg/day)를 각각 방사선조사 전에 투여했고 다른 생쥐 군에 5 Gy(1.01 Gy/min)의 방사선량으로 전신조사를 했고 대조군에 생리적 식염수 (0.1 ml)를 투여 한 후 간 조직에서 환원형 글루타치온(GSH)과 산화형 글루타치온(GSSG)의 함량을 각각 검사하였다. 그 결과 방사선조사군(Rad)보다 동충하초투여군(EF+Rad)과 백삼투여군(WG+Rad)에서 환원형 글루타치온 (GSH)함량이 유의성 있게 증가했으나 산화형 글루타치온(GSSG)의 함량은 유의성 있게 감소하였다. 총 환원형 글루타치온(total GSH)과 산화형 글루타치온(GSSG)의 함량 비율은 방사선조사군(Rad)보다 동충하초투여군(EF+Rad)과 백삼투여군(WG+Rad)에서 유의성 있게 감소하였다.

충주지역에서의 사과 후지 품종의 만개기 추정 (Estimation of Full Bloom Stage of Apple (Malus domestica Borkh. c. Fugi) in Chungju Area)

  • 충주지역에서 표고가 다른 9개 지점(계명산 5지점, 남산 4지점)에서 측정한 기온 관측자료를 분석하여 기온이 표고가 높아짐에 따라 일정한 비율로 변화하는 단열조건에 의한 기온체감율을 계산하고, 표고별 후지 품종의 만개기를 추정하였다. 충주 계명산 남서사면에서 측정한 시간별 기온자료를 표고와의 관계로부터 표고가 100 m 상승함에 따라 기온은 0.89$^{\circ}C$의 일정한 비율로 체감하였다. 남산 북서사면에서 측정한 시간별 기온자료와 표고와의 상관으로부터는 0.74$^{\circ}C$/100 m의 비율로 기온이 체감함을 알 수 있었다. 충주지역에서 일평균 기온 5$^{\circ}C$ 이상인 날의 발육속도(DVR)를 계산하여 추정한 만개기와 실제로 조사된 만개기는 서로 일치하는 경향이었으며 표고별로 추정된 충주지역의 사과 만개기는 해발고도 100 m 상승함에 따라 4~5일 늦어졌는데 고도에 따라 4월 25~5월 10일의 범위이었다.

제 5급와동에서 광중합 그래스 아이오노머 수복물의 미세변연누출에 관한 연구 (THE MICROLEAKAGE OF LIGHT-CURED GLASS LONOMER RESTORATIVE MATERIALS IN CLASS V CAVITIES)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the microleakage of light cured glass ionomer restorative materials in class 5 cavities. In this in vitro study, class 5 cavities were prepared on buccal and lingual surfaces of forty extracted human premolars and molars on cementum margin. These specimen were randomly divided into four groups of 10 each : Group 1 was Fugi II (control), Group 2 was Fugi II LC, Group 3 was Vitremer, and Group 4 was Dyract. Group 2 was also divided once more into 2 groups of 5 each : Group 2-1 was pretreated with dentin conditioner and Group 2-2 was not. All teeth were restored according to the manufacturer's instructions. After 500 thermocycling between $5^{\circ}C$ and $55^{\circ}C$, the 40 teeth were placed in 2 % Methylene blue dye for 24hr, then rinsed with tab water. The specimen were embedded in clear resin, then sectioned buccolingually through the center of restoration with a low speed diamond saw. The dye penetration on each of the specimen were then observed with a stereomicroscope at 20. The results of the study were statistically analyzed using the Student-Newman-Keuls Methods and the Mann-Whitney Rank Sum Test. Tooth restorative interfaces were evaluated using SEM analysis. Results were as follows, 1. Compared to conventional glass ionomer restoratioqs, all light cured glass ionomer restorations were fairly resistant to microleakage (P<0.05). 2. Groups 3 (Vitremer) and Group 4 (Dyract) were found to be the most resistant, Group 2 (Fugi II LC) fairly resistant, and Group 1 (Fugi II) least resistant to microleakage(P<0.05). 3. No significant differences were found between Group 2-1 and Group 2-2 (P>0.08). 4. With the backscattered SEM analysis, the degrees to which tight bonding occurred were also observed in all the groups except for Group 1. Group 4 showed the highest degree of tight bonding than any other materials used in this study.

가축사료에서 병원성 진균 분리 동정 (Isolation and identification of pathogenic fungi from animal feedstuffs)

  • Fugi are eukaryotic, nonphotosynthetic, filamentous or unicellular organisms, most of which grow on nonliving materials as saphrophytes. The majority are therefore opportunistic pathogens and predisposing factors often contribute to the establishment of fungal infection. These include an alteration in the normal flora of the host by prolonged administration of antibiotics, immunosup-pression, concurrent infections, damage to the skin or mucous membranes, constantly moist areas of skin or the exposure to a large infective dose, and as with fungal spores. Fungi may cause a variety of diseases which may be due directly to fungal invasion of tissue or more often to the ingestion of toxins produces by fungi in growing, standing or stored grains and other animals feeds. In this experiment, contaminated fugi were isolated and identified from animal feedstuffs such as Korean cattle, milking cows, pigs and chickens. Twelve genues were isolated from animal feeds, they are 9 from Korean cattle and milking cows feeds, 6 from pigs feeds, and 10 from chickens feeds. Among them, most frequently encountered species was Yeast(56 strains), followed by Fusarium sp(41 strains), Aspergillus sp(20 strains), each of Micorsporum sp and Trichophyton sp(17 strains), Penicilium sp(12 strains), in order. And also minority was isolated as Candide sp(4 strains), Trichoderma sp(3 strains), each of Epidermophytom sp and Absida sp(2 strains), and each of Sporothrix sp and Maduromyces sp(1 strain). Among the Aspergillus sp 20 isolates, A flavus(5 strains), A nidulans(4 strains), A fumigatus(3 strains), A glucans(3 strains), A niger(3 strains) and A terreus(2 strains) were identified.

  • Most of countries differ from their favors, in Taiwan fruit juice and sweet taste are emphasized while external appearance in Japan. During transportation, movement of the container, fluctuation of temperature, decrease of the fruit freshness and undesirable packing materials tend to decline fruit marketability. For these problems, it is believed that shortening of boarding time by utilization of plate and styro form box for packing, the author believed.

사과과실 엽록체의 초미세구조 변화에 미치는 감압저장의 영향 (Effects of Subatmospheric Pressure Storage on Ultrastructural Changes in the Chloroplasts of Apple Fruit)

  • 사과과실(Malus Pumila Mill var. Fugi)을 preclimacteric단계에 수확하여 380mmHg, $20^{\circ}C$의 조건에서 감압저장하고 climacteric rise의 각 단계별로 전자현미경적으로 관찰한 결과, 사과저장 중 감압처리가 엽록체의 초미세구조변화에 미치는 영향과 이로 인한 저장기간 연장효과를 규명하였다. 760mmHg, $20^{\circ}C$의 조건에서 저장한 상압저장 과실은 25일간의 저장으로 이미 막투과성의 변화로 인한 공포화현상으로 인하여 엽록체의 초미세구조에 상당한 변화가 일어나 stroma부위의 전자밀도가 낮아지고, lamellar system이 와해되었으며, 50일간의 저장에서는 광범위한 breakdown현상으로 인하여 stroma부위의 전자밀도상실, lamella system상실 등의 초미세구조변화가 매우 심하게 나타나 저장성이 상실되었다. 한편 380mmHg, $20^{\circ}C$의 조건에서 저장한 감압저장과실은 상압저장과실에 비하여 엽록체의 초미세구조변화가 크게 억제되었다. 특히 thlakoid막은 climacteric rise가 진전되어 공포화현상이 심하게 나타나서 lamella구조가 완전히 와해되었을 경우에도 비교적 건전한 상태로 유지되어 저장기간이 2개월정도 연장되었는데, 저장 중의 감압처리로 인하여 막투과성변화가 억제되어 사과과실의 숙성 및 연화가 지연됨으로써 저장기간이 연장된 것으로 판단되었다.

일부 병원 실내에서의 공기중 미생물 오염에 관한 연구 (A Study on Airborne Microorganism in Hospital)

  • To assess biological indoor air quality in hospital, concentrations of viable airborne microbes were determined at intensive care unit(ICU), patient room (PR), outpatient waiting room(OPWR) in hospitals of large(1000 beds), middle(500 beds), small(100 beds) hospitals, respectively. Gram positive bacteria, gram negative bacteria, fungi were sampled using suctional sampling method by RCS sampler (Reuter centrifugal air sampler) and RCS GK-A agar plate. In gram positive bacteria groups, CNS(Coagulase Negative Staphylococcus), Micrococcus, Lactobacillus, S. aureus, Enterococcus, St. viridans identified. In gram negative bacteria groups, A. baumannii, Kl. peumoniae and E. coli were identified, and Penicillium was identified in fugi groups. Results of the study were as follows. 1. The highest concentrations of airborne microbes was $971CFU/m^3$ at 5:00 PM in small hospital patient room, and average concentrations of airborne microbes in large, middle and small hospitals were $282CFU/m^3$, $289CFU/m^3$ and $625CFU/m^3$, respectively. Average concentrations of airborne microbes in office(control) was $90CFU/m^3$. Thus, the small hospital showed the worst condition. 2. Representatives of 8 different genera were identified in 150 samples. The most frequently isolated organisms were Staphylococcus (73.0%), Micrococcus (20.7%) and Lactobacillus (4.7%), respectively. Pathogenic microbes isolated were A. baumannii, E. coli, Enterococcus, Kl. peumoniae, S. aureus, St. viridans and Penicillium as fungi. In office, no pathogenic microbes were identified. Average concentrations of airborne pathogenic microbes in large, middle and small hospital were $5CFU/m^3$ (2%), $11CFU/m^3$ (4%) and $12CFU/m^3$ (2%), respectively. Thus, condition in a large hospital was better than those in a middle and a small hospital.

그라프트 가공 견직물의 力學特性과 태의 分析硏究 (Mechanical Properties and Fabric Handle of Grafted Silk Fabrics)

  • In order to study an applicable level for the graft finish of silk filaments and the characteristics of silk fabric, some sample fabrics were woven with grafted weft and the characteristics of sample fabrics were analyzed to evaluate the mechanical properites and the handle values according to the graft yield(%) of MMA and HEMA monomers on silk filaments. 1. The tensile properties were detected in the increase of linearity(LT) and the recovery in time of the increasing resilience(RT). 2. The bending properties were detected to have a lot of effect on the balance of bending rigidity(B) to hysteresis(2HB) according to the elastic relaxation of warp tension and the interlacing stress. 3. The shearing properities were detected to show the softness and the elastics in a case of the decrease in shearing rigidity(G) and hysteresis(2HG, 2HG5) according to the graft yields. 4. The compression properties were detected in the decrease of linearity(LC) and the uniformity of resilience(RC). It explains that the tendancies of compressible variation is not accepted. 5. The surface properities were detected to be affected by the surface forms of grafted silk filaments and the variation in the morphologies of interlacing sections. Considering the interlacing eveness, MMA grafted fabrics were accepted within the level of WOMEN'S THIN DRESS(KN-201-LDY) but HEMA grafted fabrics were not accepted. 6. The variation of handles were detected in the increase of total hand(TAV) within the levels of 65% of KOSHI and 82% of HARI on the average. 7. The handle fashions were detected in the nature of Habuta and Dechine from MAA graft but the nature of Fugi were shaped from HEMA graft in proportion to the graft yields.

사과 흰빛썩음병백부병(白腐病)의 병원균(病原菌) 생리(生理), 포장(圃場)에서의 전염(傳染) 및 품종저항성(品種抵抗性) (Pathogen Physiology, Epidemiology and Varietal Resistance in White Rot of Apple)

  • 1981년도 사과 흰빛 썩음병(白腐病)의 발생은 지역에 따라 5%에서 16%에 달하였으며 평균발병 과율은 9%였다. 사과에서 분리한 병원균을 사과, 배, 복숭아, 포도의 잎, 가지, 과실에 상처 접종하였을때 접종 부위에 병반이 형성되었다. 병원균의 영양 생장은 감자설탕 한천배지와 귀리즙 한천배지에서 모두 좋았으며 특히 온도 $25{\sim}30^{\circ}C$, pH 4, 당도 $10{\sim}15%$의 광조사하에서 가장 양호하였다. 사과의 이병과실은 8월 초순에 포장에서 처음 관찰되었으며 이때의 과실 당도는 9.0%였다. 그 이후 과실의 당도가 증가함에 따라 이병과실의 수도 급격히 증가하였다. 과실의 이병정도와 과일즙내 산도와는 아무런 상관이 없었다. 사과 과실의 이병시기를 과실을 일정기간동안 노출하는 방법으로 포장에서 조사한 결과, 과실의 이병은 과실이 형성되기 시작한 6월초순부터 가능하였다. 과실의 숙기별로 포장에서 과실을 채집하여 실내 유상접종 하였을때 접종 과실은 과실의 숙기와 상관없이 모두 병만을 형성하였다. 포장에서 병 발생 정도를 품종별로 조사한 결과, 골덴데리셔스, 육오가 가장 많이 이병되었고 조나단, 레드데리셔스가 가장 적었으며 아오리, 후지, 인도는 중간이었다.

In vivo에서 수종이장재의 산도변화에 관한 연구 (IN VIVO CHANGES OF THE ACIDITY OF VARIOUS DENTAL LINERS)

  • The purpose of this study was to observe the changes of acidity of resin cement(Time Line), glass ionomer cement(GC Fugi Lining LC), zinc phosphate cement(Fleck's zinc cement). zinc oxide eugenol cement(Sultan,Chemists.) in vivo and in vitro. Class I cavities with 3mm depth were prepared on the occlusal surfaces of 20 recently extracted human Mn. molar teeth and 20 human Mn. 3rd molar teeth in oral cavity. The prepared cavities were divided into 4 groups of each 5 teeth using the above 4 cavity liners. Each cement was mixed in accordance with manufacturer's direction at the room temperature of $23^{\circ}{\pm}5^{\circ}C$ and filled into the cavity in a width of 1 mm. The microelectrode of pH meter was inserted into the prepared cavity which was filled with mixed cement, and the acidity of cement was measured for 3 days from the beginning of cement mix in vitro and in vivo. The measured acidity was then statistically analyzed by ANOVA. The results were as follows. 1. In vitro, the pH of zinc oxide eugenol cement was statistically lower than that of the three other groups at 2min, 4min, 6min, 8min, 10min, 12min, 18min, 20min. (p<0.05). 2. The pH of zinc oxide eugenol cement in vivo was statistically higher than that in vitro at 16min,16min, 20min(p<0.05). 3. The pH of zinc phosphate cement in vivo was statistically higher than that in vitro at 4min, 20min(p<0.05). 4. In vitro and in vivo, there was no significant difference in the pH between the resin cement and the glass ionomer cement(p>0.05). 5. The initial acidity was not high, but almost neutral in all kinds of the cements.
