항공기 연료탑재 기준에 관한 연구 (A Study on Aircraft Fuel Requirements)

  • Airplane fuel takes large portion of airline operation cost and recently it has been grown up to about 25% of operating cost. So airlines are making efforts to reduce fuel consumption continuously and also aircraft manufacturers are making efforts to develop less fuel-consuming engines but it takes great expenses and times to develop such engines. In this study, fuel requirements of FAR and JAR, especially contingency fuel requirements, are compared and the effectiveness of each method is analyzed.

Determination of an economical shipping route considering the effects of sea state for lower fuel consumption

  • With increases in international oil prices, the proportion of fuel cost to the operational costs of a ship is currently increasing. To reduce fuel cost, a method for determining an economical route for a ship based on the acquisition of the sea state and the estimation of fuel consumption is proposed. The proposed method consists of three items. The first item is to acquire the sea state information in real time. The second item is to estimate the fuel consumption of a ship according to the sea state. The last item is to find an economical route for minimal fuel consumption based on the previous two items. To evaluate the applicability of the proposed method, it was applied to routing problems in various ocean areas. The result shows that the proposed method can yield economical ship routes that minimize fuel consumption. The results of this study can contribute to energy savings for environmentally friendly ships.

  • In recent years, Korea's aviation industry has been developing rapidly due to the emergence of low-cost airlines. In order to survive in such competition, airlines are making various efforts to save the operation cost as much as possible. Fuel costs account for more than 25% of operating costs. For airlines, reducing aircraft fuel costs is an important part of improving profitability. In this study, analyzing the difference weight between flightplan and W&B Manifest for calculated the fuel that was unnecessarily loaded. As a method to calculate the unnecessary fuel was used by Airbus company flight planning program.

  • This study presents the results of an economic analysis for a comparison of the single layer and double layer alternatives with respect to a HLW-repository. According to a cost analysis undertaken in the Korean case, the single layer option was the most economical alternative. The disposal unit cost was estimated to be 222 EUR/kgU. In order to estimate such a disposal cost, an estimation process was sought after the cost objects, cost drivers and economic indicators were taken into consideration. The disposal cost of spent fuel differs greatly from general product costs in the cost structure. Product costs consist of direct material costs and direct labor and manufacturing overhead costs, whereas the disposal cost is comprised of construction costs, operating costs and closure costs. In addition, the closure cost is required after a certain period of time elapses following the building of a repository.

  • 국제사회가 관심을 가지고 있는 이산화탄소 배출 감소를 위해 많은 연구 기관들이 연료 절감 방법을 연구하여 결과를 제시하고 있다. 비용 절감이 최종 결론이지만 아직까진, 어떻게 제시된 방법이 작동되는가, 어떠한 효과가 있는가, 어떠한 크기의 배에 가장 이상적이며 효과가 클까 등등 많은 의문점들이 제기되고 있다. 선주와 운영자들에게는 연료비가 가장 큰 비용 중 하나이다. 그리고 연료 절감은 선주나 운영자들에게는 비용 절감과 동시에 이산화탄소를 줄이는 가장 좋은 방법이다. 본 논문은 추진 효율을 높여 연료를 절감하는 방법 및 투자되는 비용과 일 년 동안 운항 후 얻어지는 연료비 절감을 통하여 투자금 회수 기간을 대략적으로 계산을 할 수 있도록 하고, 각 방법 간의 미치는 영향에 대하여 소개를 하고자 한다.

외부충전 방식 하이브리드 전기자동차의 연비 시뮬레이션 (Simulation Study on the Fuel Economy of Plug-in Type Hybrid Electric Vehicle)

  • In this paper, the fuel economy of plug-in type hybrid electric vehicle is investigated through simulation. For the simulation study, 2 shaft type parallel hybrid powertrain is chosen and its operation modes are described. The operation algorithm which yields operation points of minimal fuel cost is suggested. Dynamic model fur operation of HEV and simulation procedure is described. Simulation results of fuel economy is compared to non plug-in type HEV as well as conventional vehicle. With total driving distance of 37km and full usage of 2kwh of electric energy stored in battery pack, plug-in type HEV shows 28-30% improved fuel economy compared to non plug-in type HEV and 86-93% improved fuel economy compared to conventional vehicle.

  • The purpose of this study is analysis to vehicle's fuel economy and emission gas characteristics by fuel type. The test vehicle were selected to similar weight and performance, the test vehicle was used three representative mode(CVS-75, HWFET and NEDC) in order to evaluation fuel economy and emission gas. For reference, environment pollution cost was calculated on the basis of the exhaust emissions occurred in the test in progress.

목재펠릿시스템의 대체투자 가능성 분석 - 시설과채 사례 - (Replacement Investment with Pallet Fuel System in Greenhouse Fruit and Vegetables)

  • This study aimed to analyze the replacement investment of the diesel fuel system with the pallet fuel system in the Korean farming sector. Equivalent annual annuity approach was used to resolve a discrepancy of useful life in capital goods and to facilitate investment analyses in an independent perspective. Data was obtained from previous studies on economic analysis of greenhouse tomato, paprika and cucumber. Results showed that the replacement with the pallet fuel system was acceptable irrespective of the remaining period of useful life for the diesel fuel system. In addition, sensitivity analysis with government support level, repair cost, and light and heat energy cost show ed robustness in the possibility of replacement with the pallet fuel system while the speed of replacement was accelerated with an increase in the amount of diesel fuel used and price of diesel fuel, and a decrease in price of the pallet fuel. The result implied that the replacement investment rather than a new investment was appropriate for existing greenhouse farmers and the pallet fuel system was acceptable to replace existing diesel fuel system in producing greenhouse tomato, paprika and cucumber.

포장도로의 거칠기 변화에 대한 차량 연료소모량 변화율 (The Change Rate of Fuel Consumption for Different IRI of Paved Roads)

  • 높은 차량운행비용(VOC : Vehicle Operating Cost)은 포장도로 복구작업의 주요한 원인이고, 차량운행비용(VOC)은 연료소모량, 오일소모량, 부품교체비용 등으로 구성된다. 이중 연료소모량이 VOC에서 차지하는 비중이 높고, 다른 도로조건에 비해 도로 표면 거칠기가 도로의 노화 정도를 대표적으로 지시하는 값이기 때문에, 본 연구에서는 포장도로의 표면 거칠기(IRI : International Roughness Index) 변화에 따른 차량의 연료소모량 변화를 측정하였다. 차량의 연료분사 인젝터의 전압변화를 측정하여 연료소모량을 계산하였고, 속도는 GPS센서를 사용하여 측정하였다. 본 실험 결과를 이용하여 IRI 변화에 대한 연료소모량의 변화율을 계산할 수 있었다. 계산 결과, 40~100km/h 속도영역에서 중형 및 대형 승용차의 연료소모량(L/100km)은 3.5m/km 정도의 IRI 수준에서 IRI(m/lm) 증가율의 7배 정도로 증가하였고, 60km/h의 속도에서 가장 연비가 우수하였다.

비볼록 발전비용함수 경제급전문제의 개선된 밸브지점 최적화 알고리즘 (Improved Valve-Point Optimization Algorithm for Economic Load Dispatch Problem with Non-convex Fuel Cost Function)

  • 비 볼록 발전비용함수에 대한 최적화 문제는 다항시간으로 해를 구하는 알고리즘이 알려져 있지 않아 전기분야에서는 부득이 2차 함수만을 사용하고 있다. 본 논문은 비 볼록 발전비용함수의 경제급전 최적화 문제에 대한 밸브지점 최적화 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안된 알고리즘은 초기 치로 최대 발전량 $P_i{\leftarrow}P_i^{max}$로 설정하고, 평균 발전단가가 $_{max}\bar{c}_i$인 발전기 i의 발전량을 밸브지점 $P_{ik}$로 감소시키는 방법을 적용하였다. 제안된 알고리즘을 13과 40-발전기 데이터에 적용한 결과 기존의 휴리스틱 알고리즘보다 좋은 성능을 보였다. 따라서 비 볼록 발전비용함수의 경제급전문제 최적 해는 각 발전기의 밸브지점 발전량으로 수렴함을 보였다.
