인공 자기 도체를 이용한 기지국 안테나의 방사 특성 개선 및 두께 감소 (The Radiation Characteristics Improvement and Thickness Reduction of Base Station Antenna with Artificial Magnetic Conductor)

  • 본 논문에서는 도체 판 대신 인공 자기 도체를 반사판으로 이용하여 방사 특성이 개선되고 두께를 줄인 PCS용 기지국 안테나 구조를 제안하였다. 반사판으로 도체 판을 사용하는 기존 기지국 안테나의 경우, 도체 판 끝부분에서 기생 방사가 발생하고 이는 안테나의 후방사를 증가시켜 기지국 안테나의 방사 특성을 악화시킨다. 하지만 인공 자기 도체를 사용하면 표면에서의 높은 임피던스에 의해 표면파가 억압되어 후방사를 크게 줄일 수 있다. 그리고 부엽 특성도 개선되어 서비스 지역이 겹치는 문제를 막을 수 있다. 뿐만 아니라, 인공 자기 도체 표면에서의 $0^{\circ}$ 반사 위상에 의해 기지국 안테나의 두께를 또한 줄일 수 있다.

흰등멸구의 생활환 및 사육방법 연구 (Studies of the Life Cycle and Rearing Methods of Whitebacked Planthopper (Sogatella furcifera Horváth))

  • 본 연구는 흰등멸구를 정확히 구분하여 벼 피해를 최소화하고 적기에 방제할 수 있는 방법을 개발하기 위하여 실시하였다. 제 1~3 령충의 몸의 크기는 1.5~2 mm이였고, 제 4~5 령충은 2.5~3.5 mm 정도로 확인하였다. 제 3령충은 앞날개시아와 뒷날개시아의 비율이 1:1이였으며, 제 4 령충은 앞날개시아가 전체의 3/4을 차지하고, 제 5령충은 앞날개시아가 뒷날개시아를 모두 덮는 것을 관찰하였다. 제 1 령충은 감각판이 없으며, 제 2 령충은 2~3개, 제 3 령충은 4~5 개, 제 4 령충은 6~9 개, 제 5 령충은 10~15 개, 그리고 성충은 15~20 개를 가지는 것으로 확인하였다. 암컷의 산란기관과 산란 시에 산란관을 삽입한 부위가 붉게 변화됨을 관찰하였다. 흰등멸구는 주로 2~3 령충이 가장 활발하게 벼를 흡즙하였고, 그 피해부위는 지면과 가까운 볏대인 것으로 확인하였다. 또한 흡즙후에는 부분적으로 검은 상처가 난 것을 관찰하였다. 흰등멸구의 감수성을 가지는 '추청'은 저항성인 '청청'에 비해 조기에 황변되고 초기 생육이 부진하여 감수성과 저항성간의 차이를 관찰할 수 있었다. 또한 생물 검정에 있어 이러한 상처의 수를 파악하는 것은 흰등멸구의 계통 품종 간 감수성의 차이를 보다 쉽게 파악 할 수 있는 기준이 될 것으로 사료된다. 이상의 결과는 벼의 흰등멸구 저항성 품종 육성의 기초자료로 이용 될 것이다.

  • 본 연구에서는 임피던스 대역폭비가 2 : 1 이상의 광대역특성을 갖고 이득이 최소 4 dBi 이상인 quasi-Yagi 안테나(QYA) 설계방법에 대해 소개한다. QYA는 코프래너 스트립에 내장된 마이크로 스트립으로 급전되며, 평면다이폴과 그에 근접하는 도파기, 그리고 접지면 반사기 등 3개의 소자로 구성된다. 폭이 넓은 직사각 패치 모양의 도파기를 스트립 다이폴 가까이 두어서 광대역 정합특성을 구현하였다. 시뮬레이션을 통해 1.6-3.5 GHz (대역폭 비 2.2 : 1) 대역용으로 최적화된 3소자 QYA를 FR4 기판상에 $90{\times}90mm^2$ 크기로 제작하여 특성을 실험하였다. 실험결과, SWR < 2 인 임피던스 대역은 1.56-3.74 GHz(대역폭 비 2.4 : 1), 피크이득은 4.41-6.53 dBi이고, FBR > 13.6 dB 이다.

현실감있는 입체음향 생성을 위한 머리전달함수의 개선 (Improvement of Head Related Transfer Function to Create Realistic 3D Sound)

  • 최근 게임, 멀티미디어 콘텐츠, 가상현실 등을 제공하는 멀티미디어 장치에서 2개의 스피커나 헤드폰을 이용하여 3차원 입체 음향효과를 내고자 하는 가상 입체음향 기법에 관한 연구가 많이 이루어지고 있다. 가상 입체음향 기법 중 가장 대표적인 것으로는 소리가 음원으로부터 청자의 두 귀에 이르는 정보를 포함하고 있는 머리전달함수를 사용하는 방법이 있다. 그러나 이 방법은 혼돈원추 상에서 음상정위의 혼돈을 주게 됨으로서 입체감이 저하된다는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 인간의 청각특성에 따른 여기에너지를 이용하여 현실감있는 입체음향을 생성하는 알고리즘을 제안하고자 한다. 서로 대칭되는 각 머리전달함수의 여기에너지를 계산하고 각 bark 대역에 따른 비율을 추출한 후 앞방향에 해당하는 머리전달함수의 저주파 영역을 보상해줌으로서 스펙트럼 특성을 부각시키는 새로운 방법을 제안하였으며 청감테스트를 통하여 제안한 방식이 기존의 방법보다 방향감을 개선시킴을 확인할 수 있었다.

3차원 데이터를 활용한 학령기 남아의 상반신 체형 분류 (Upper Body Type Classification of Elementary School Boys Using 3D Data)

  • This study classified and analyzed the upper body types of 7-13 years old elementary school boys, using 3D data from the 6th Size Korea. The results of this study are as follows. Seven factors were extracted from the factorial analysis as an independent factor for a cluster analysis. The cluster analysis generated four body types. Type 1 has large ratio of front and back depth as well as circumference, with a front protrusion. In Type 2, the vertical value of upper torso is longer than average; in addition, its flatness is the largest and produces a thin body type. Type 3 has a smaller flatness in the bust, waist, abdomen and hip than other types, while also having the largest BMI. Type 4 is characterized by a greater shoulder angle than other types and its other factors are close to average. As a result of the logistic regression analysis, the prediction model used eight variables to generate and its accuracy is 88.679%. The classification of upper body types from this study can be used as basic data to improve patternmaking for each body type. The generated prediction model is also expected to be used as a method to help classify upper body types using the eight variables.

A Study on the Body Characteristics of Korean Obese Women (Part I)

  • This study analyzes the body characteristics of Korean obese women using 2004 Size Korea data. For selecting the obesity sample, 7 obesity judgment indices were chosen from previous clothing-related studies. A total of 636 females defined as "obese" by 5 out of 7 indices were selected as subjects for this study. 54 body measurements and obesity judgment indices were used. First, the subjects had a BMI 27.11, R$\ddot{o}$hrer index 1.76, Vervaeck index 104.77, Relative weight 133.00, and WHR 0.90. In the case of the distribution by age groups, the twenties were 6.4% of the entire subjects, the thirties were 18.2%, the forties were 16.4%, the fifties were 37.4%, and the sixties were 21.5%. The result of the ANOVAs (divided into 5 age groups) showed significant differences in 41 measurement items except for bust circumference, waist length front, and all of obesity judgment indices. Second, according to the ANOVAs among stature groups divided by 5cm pitches there are significant differences in all measurements except for bust circumference. The results of the ANOVAs among bust circumference groups divided by 5cm pitches show that significant differences were observed in all measurements except four measurement items (including body rise). According to the ANOVAs among the waist circumference groups divided by 5cm pitches, there are no significant differences in all height measurements and shoulder length, waist to hip length, and crotch length. It is confirmed that stature and bust circumference have a deep relationship with measurements other than waist circumference. Third, as the factor analysis were conducted using 39 measurement items to extract the body characteristics of obese women Factor 1 is "circumference measurements & obesity judgment indices," Factor 2 is "heights & arm-related lengths," and Factor 3 is "size and ratio of waist circumference & hip circumference." Factor 4 was "lengths in upper body," Factor 5 was "back width in upper body," Factor 6 was "side neck point to bust & bust circumference," Factor 7 was "length in lower body & arm circumferences," and Factor 8 was "neck base circumference & front widths in upper body." These 8 factors explained 76.54% of the total variance.

대형 액상분사식 LPG엔진 인젝터의 아이싱 특성연구 (Characteristics of Icing Phenomenon on Injector in a Liquid Phase LPG Injection SI Engine)

  • The liquid phase LPG injection (LPLI) system (the third generation technology) has been considered as one of the next generation fuel supply systems for LPG vehicles, since it has a very strong potential to accomplish the higher power, higher efficiency, and lower emission characteristics than the mixer type(the second generation technology) fuel supply system However. when a liquid LPG fuel is injected into the inlet duct of an engine, a large quantity of heat is extracted due to evaporation of fuel. This leads to freezing of the moisture in the air around the outlet of a nozzle, which is called icing phenomenon. It may cause damage to the outlet nozzle of an injector or inlet valve seat. In this work, the experimental investigation of the icing phenomenon was carried out The results showed that the icing phenomenon and process were mainly affected by humidity of inlet air instead of air temperature in the inlet duel. Also, it was observed that the total ice formed around the nozzle weighs at about $150mg{\sim}260mg$ after injection for ten minutes. And some fuel species were found in the ice attached at the front side of a nozzle, while frozen ice attached at the back of a nozzle was mostly' consisted of moisture of inlet air. Therefore, some frozen ice deposit. detached from front nozzle of an injector, may cause a problem of unfavorable air fuel ratio control in the small LPLI engine.

뇌파의 한의학적 진단 지표로의 활용 방안에 대한 연구초안 (The methodology on the application of EEG as a diagonostic measures in Korean Traditional Medicine)

  • Objective : By examining EEG status in Korean Traditional Medicine (KTM) from the viewpoint of 'form-qi theory(形氣論)', We wish to prepare for the fundamentals of applicability of KTM diagnoses to EEG. In addition, through reinterpretation of existing Western Medicine reports from the viewpoint of KTM, We tried to find out interrelationship between them. Method : In this paper, a methodology applicable to KTM diagnoses of EEG is presented from the EEG features in waveform characteristics, personalized diversity, and cognitive activity reflection. Results : Frequency bands are assigned to corresponding one of the eight trigrams in terms of yin/yang balance, which is analogous with EEG spectrum analysis mostly used in EEG quantification. The amplitude ratio of each EEG for each frequency band gives meaningful index numbers which can be used in EEG data interpretation, and every index number is named after the sixty four hexagrams. These approaches are adopted through both '4-band classification system and '6-band classification system', and applied to pre-existing reported EEG data obtained from normal adults. These analyses show that changes and distribution pattern in the index numbers are observed as a whole on both left-right line and front-back line connecting EEG measurement cephalic electrodes. And differences in distribution pattern of three index numbers deduced from '6-band classification system' are discussed according to constitution. Conclusion : The index numbers introduced here, which are the spectral power ratio for each EEG, are based on KTM yin/yang balance. These index numbers vary according to cephalic location, so its application in terms of traditional meridian theory is strongly expected. The index number distribution also shows different patterns according to constitution.

3차원 계측시스템을 이용한 개더스커트 형상 분석 (Analysis of the Shape of Gathered Skirts using a Three-Dimensional Measurement System)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the shape of gathered skirts using a three-dimensional measurement system. And in this experiment, I try to accumulate three-dimensional data of wearing model and to figure out analyzing method made by shape of clothes. The experimental design consists of two factorial designs. I set up three different kinds of fabrics, ratio of gathers. Therefore nine samples were made. The instrument and tools for three-dimensional measurement was whole body 3D scanner. Analysis program used in experiment is RapidForm 2004 PP1 and Pattern Design 2000. Data analysis utilizes SPSS WIN 10.0 Package. T-test to effect an inspection of evidence, there was difference about measurement times. One-way ANOVA to analysis effect of gather made by gathering conditions. The following results were obtained; 1. As a result of inspecting an error several times using a three-dimension measurement system, convinced data was obtained. 2. At front, distribution of gap amount was larger than back. And as ratio of gathers increased, distribution of gap amount showed regularly. 3. After analyzing horizontal sectional figure of skirts, as a height of skirt changed from waist to the bottom of skirts, the results showed as follows. While section width, section thickness, node width, node depth increased, node count decreased. 4. With the horizontal section levels of gather skirt, the silhouette on middle hip section was similar with the silhouette of body line. And as ratio of gathers around hip section increased, nodes showed regularly. At the bottom of skirts showed different nodes by different gathering condition.

X형 개선을 가진 후판 맞대기 용접에 있어서 유한요소법을 이용한 각변형 해석 (Analysis of Angular Deformation in Multi-pass Butt Joint Welding of Thick Plates with X-shape Grooves using the Finite Element Method)

  • Removal of angular deformation induced during the welding of butt joints in thick steel plates needs expert skill and is costly. To reduce deformation, proper joint designs are studied with a prediction of deformation prior to welding. However, as the thickness of a plate increases, a predictive analysis of the welding process is more difficult, especially if there is an increase in the number of welding passes in the joint. In this study, a numerical model with the finite element method (FEM) was developed to analyze the angular deformation in the multi-pass welding of butt joints of plates made of AH32 steel that had a thickness of up to 100 mm. A series of numerical simulations were then performed based on the developed model to predict the deformations for thick plates. With the results obtained by the analyses, this study suggested optimal X-shape grooves for the butt joints of thick plates to minimize the angular deformation. As the thickness of the plate increased to 100 mm, the ratio of the depth of the front-side groove to that of the back-side groove should be gradually increased to nearly 1:3.
