  • This study aimed to examine academic researches about apartment unit plans and consumer's opinions, and then to analyze the corelationship between the two, thus identifying the differences between the reality of housing market and consumers' opinionsl. On the analysis of the apartment unit plans($66m^2{\sim}164m^2$) provided by top 8 construction companies from March 2004 to December 2008. The remarkable change compared to existing apartments is an increase in the number of bays. This displays construction companies are responding to consumer' opinions actively. However, there were spaces which did not or passively reflect consumer's opinions enough. Especially, front side allocation of bedrooms beside master bedroom, kitchen/dining room and L-D-K & LD-K installation of a door between entrance and a living room. These are opinions that companies need to make efforts to reflect on apartment unit plans as much as possible.

  • Partial squeeze die casting is a special die casting process which combines squeeze technique to conventional die casting. The influence of squeeze pressure $(1500-3000kg/cm^2)$ and time-lags(0.5-2.0sec) on defect control, density and microstructure of ADC12 alloy die casts has been studied by appling partial squeeze die casting to air compressure front housing production. Defect free, maximum density of $2.736kg/cm^3$ with sound microstructure of ADC12 alloy die cast has been obtained by partial squeeze die casting technique at the pressure of $2000-2500kg/cm^2$ and time-lags of 1.0-2.0sec.

  • This paper introduces a study for the noise reduction of a range hood for household. Generally, range hoods have a built-in sirocco fan from which squawky noises are generated. Though the squawky noises have low noise level, these kinds of noises make most of the users nervous. For the purpose of noise reduction, in this study, a perforated plate system is installed in the fan housing of range hood. From the experimental results, it is confirmed that the noise level omitted front the range hood is decreased above 2dB(A) in all frequency regions due to the effect of noise reduction by perforated panel system.

Second, the frame is installed with the guide bar in the longitudinal direction at the top so as to be located at the rear side end of the table, the post is installed vertically at the front and rear at the upper middle part, respectively, and cut to the table at the outer side of the front post. It is characterized by the formation of holes. Third, the supporter is fixedly installed on the upper part of the guide bar arranged in the frame, and is characterized by consisting of a cylinder and a support plate. The meaning of this study is to prevent the safety accidents of workers, to improve the efficiency of cutting work, and to prevent the occurrence of scratches on the surface of the busbar.

  • The Japanese housing market has implemented management and operation systems of community service ahead of the Korean market. This paper examines case studies of Japanese community services by reviewing related studies, studying homepages, and conducting in-depth interviews with management staff. The goal of this study is to find marketing strategies and the proper management practices in preparation for the upcoming low-fertility and aging society. The results of this study are as follows: 1) After Japan's bubble economy burst in 1985, so called that incorporated various community facilities with life services were introduced to the Japanese housing market in order to cope with the diversifying family types and lifestyles. This new trend was also due in part to customers' increasing demands for convenient urban condominiums. 2) In Japan, many developers and construction companies have run the management of community service programs and created new business models in collaboration with other affiliated companies. However, many of these programs have been found even more successful and reliable when the facility management companies collaborate with local service providers instead of relying solely on affiliated companies. 3) The early stage of life services began with "front-desk services", but these have evolved into more upgraded "concierge services" that can provide residents with tailored services and conveniences. Furthermore, some of the service providers have encouraged resident participation in the process of designing and implementing their community services. 4) In Korea, most construction companies and developers are still oriented toward providing hardware such as spaces and facilities in developing their community services. Therefore, companies with high market reputations must seek alternative ways to maintain and enhance their brand values by implementing new approaches in collaboration with both affiliated companies and local service providers. This can be done by finding new notions of managing and operating community services through research and development.
