Collaborative filtering system is the clustering about user is built and then based on that clustering results will recommend the preferred item to the user. However, building user clustering is time consuming and also once the users evaluate and give feedback about the film then rebuilding the system is not simple. In this paper, genre pattern of movie recommendation systems is being used and in order to simplify and reduce time of rebuilding user clustering. A Frequent pattern networks is used and then extracts user preference genre patterns and through that extracted patterns user clustering will be built. Through built the clustering for all neighboring users to collaborative filtering is applied and then recommends movies to the user. When receiving user information feedback, traditional collaborative filtering is to rebuild the clustering for all neighbouring users to research and do the clustering. However by using frequent pattern Networks, through user clustering based on genre pattern, collaborative filtering is applied and when rebuilding user clustering inquiry limited by search time can be reduced. After receiving user information feedback through proposed user clustering based on genre pattern, the time that need to spent on re-establishing user clustering can be reduced and also enable the possibility of traditional collaborative filtering systems and recommendation of a similar performance.

Purpose: The purposes of this study were to develop a Minimal Insomnia Screening Scale for Korean adults (KMISS) and to evaluate psychometric properties and discriminant ability of the developed scale. Methods: Data from a cross-sectional survey of 959 Korean adults were analyzed to develop the summated insomnia scale, which was evaluated in terms of reliability, validity, and discriminant ability by receiver operating characteristics (ROC) curve analysis. Results: Item-total correlations ranged between .71-.79 and Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ was .87. Adequate validity was also evident. ROC-curve analysis showed area under ROC was .87 (95% CI: .84-.90) and identified the optimal cut-off score as ${\leq}20$ (sensitivity, .83; specificity, .75; positive/negative predictive values, .40/.95). Using this cut-off score, the prevalence of insomnia in the study sample was 26.3% and most frequent among women and the oldest group. Conclusion: Data supports the psychometric properties of KMISS as a possible insomnia screening instrument. KMISS also shows promise as a convenient ultra-short screening measure of insomnia for adults and epidemiological studies in community health care settings.
The purpose of this study was to assess the degree of stress and patterns of coping for that Stressful events on family members because of the hospitalization of the patients. Stress and coping were measured with a tool on the basis of Volicer and Bell's questionnaire. In data collection, the modified 38 items of Volicer's stress scale and Bell's 18 item coping scale were administered. The subjects consisted of 259 family members of general ward-patients in Seoul National University Hospital during April in 1990. They were randomly selected on the basis of relationship of patients; patient's spouse, patient's daughters or sons. The stressors of the family members were ranked as follows; The first rank Stressful events was related to the patient's diseases and pain, the second ones was related ·to caring of their patients and family's psychosocial life. Families used long term coping method significantly more than short term ones. The results indicated that there was no difference in use of coping method between pre and post hospitalization. Finding out more about situation and optimism were the most common coping methods, and the least frequent coping method was the use of drugs. In conclusion, the identification of perceived stress and coping patterns of family members provides useful information for family nursing and aimes at better nursing care for the hospitalized in patients.
Network event analysis gives useful information on the network status that helps protect attacks. It involves finding sets of frequently used packet information such as IP addresses and requires real-time processing by its nature. Apriori algorithm used for data mining can be applied to find frequent item sets, but is not suitable for analyzing network events on real-time due to the high usage of CPU and memory and thus low processing speed. This paper develops a network event audit module by applying association rules to network events using a new algorithm instead of Apriori algorithm. Test results show that the application of the new algorithm gives drastically low usage of both CPU and memory for network event analysis compared with existing Apriori algorithm.
In order to provide useful services for user in ubiquitous environment, a technique that can get the helpful information considering user activity and preference is needed and also user's interest actually changes as time passes. Therefore, the discovering method which reflects the concern degree of service information is needed. In this paper, we present the finding method of frequent pattern with dynamic weight on individual item based on service ontology we design. Our method can be applied to provide interested service information for user depending on context.
Behavioral symptoms are frequent and problematic components of dementia. The aim of this study was to detect behavioral problem of the 25 item of dementia problem behaviour(DPB)assesment scale for demented older adults. Seventy-three patients with dementia staying in the day care center, group home, dementia hospital, nursing home were recruited data on problematic behavior obtained through interviews with their caregiver during 2 months from March to May 2004. Results shows that problematic behaviors common occurring in 95% of subjects. The most frequently exhibited problematic behaviors were repetitive movement(1.05), repetitive questions(1.03), restlessness(1.0). indifference(0.97). shouting/screaming(0.92). Problematic Behaviors of the demented older adults were closely associated to the distress for caregiver. Most distressful ones for caregivers were repetitive questions(1.46), repetitive movement(1.42), shouting/screaming (1.42), indifference(1.41). restlessness(1.41). Problematic Behaviors of the demented older adults were divided into six subdivisions, among those restless behavior was positively correlated with aggressive behavior, nervous symptom and psychotic symptom. and then nervous symptom was interrelated to psychotic symptom(P<0.01). This study has limitation that field study data were derived from various primary caregivers.
Background: Lidocaine is the gold standard local anesthetic (LA) for UK pediatric dental treatment. Recent reports suggest frequent Articaine use in Europe and Canada, with evidence indicating more profound anesthesia. The aim of this study was to examine pediatric dentistry specialist experiences and practices relating to Articaine administration in the UK. Methods: A literature review was followed by a survey using an anonymous 15-item electronic questionnaire, which was sent to 200 registered British Society of Pediatric Dentistry (BSPD) specialists. Descriptive analyses, Z score, chi-squared test, Fisher's exact test, and Spearman's correlation test were performed. Results: Sixty-one (30.5%) participants responded, and 12 (19.7%) indicated Articaine as their first line anesthetic. Articaine was used daily or weekly by 38 (62.3%) respondents, depending on the clinical context. Articaine was commonly used to avoid inferior alveolar nerve blocks and gain more profound anesthesia in abscessed or hypomineralized teeth. Participants reported significantly more adverse effects with lidocaine (Fisher's exact test, P < 0.0001) than with Articaine. Articaine was most often administered in children aged > 4 years via infiltration techniques. Only 15 (24.6%) respondents reported awareness of guidelines for Articaine use in pediatric patients. Conclusions: Articaine use in pediatric dentistry is common; however, evidence supporting its practice is limited. Several specialists follow conventions based on anecdotal evidence. Formulating guidance to aid decision-making when treating pediatric patients under LA would be beneficial.
Recently in-memory data stream processing has been actively applied to various subjects such as query processing, OLAP, data mining, i.e., frequent item sets, association rules, clustering. However, finding regular periodic patterns of events in an infinite data stream gets less attention. Most researches about finding periods use autocorrelation functions to find certain changes in periodic patterns, not period itself. And they usually find periodic patterns in time-series databases, not in data streams. Literally a period means the length or era of time that some phenomenon recur in a certain time interval. However in real applications a data set indeed evolves with tiny differences as time elapses. This kind of a period is called as a pseudo-period. This paper proposes a new scheme called FPMH (Finding Periods using Multiple Hash functions) algorithm to find such a set of pseudo-periods over a data stream based on multiple hash functions. According to the type of pseudo period, this paper categorizes FPMH into three, FPMH-E, FPMH-PC, FPMH-PP. To maximize the performance of the algorithm in the data stream environment and to keep most recent periodic patterns in memory, we applied decay mechanism to FPMH algorithms. FPMH algorithm minimizes the usage of memory as well as processing time with acceptable accuracy.

PURPOSE: The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between the physical activities of individuals post-stroke and their HRQL, as well as to determine whether their functional abilities contribute to their amounts of physical activity. METHODS: The study's subjects included 90 individuals post-stroke. Their amounts of physical activity were measured using the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ), and their HRQL was measured using the Medical Outcomes Study 36-Item Short-form Health Survey (SF-36). In addition, the functional abilities of the subjects were measured. For the measures of physical activities and the HRQL, Pearson's correlation coefficients were used to identify the strengths of the associations between the measures. A hierarchical linear regression model was used to determine whether physical activities had independent impacts on the HRQL. RESULTS: This study found that the physical activities performed by the subjects affected the SF-36 physical component score (PCS) (12%). However, the physical activities and the SF-36 mental component score (MCS) showed no statistically significant relationship, whereas functional abilities and physical activities had a statistically significant relationship (r = .57~.86, p<.001). CONCLUSION: The present study identified a correlation between physical activity and the PCS. Therefore, individuals post-stroke should be encouraged to carry out more physical activities, including more frequent walking activities.
