저속 충격시 PVC/MBS재료의 파괴특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Fracture Parameters for PVC/MBS Composites under Low Velocity Impact)

  • An analysis method for rubber toughened PVC is suggested to evaluate critical dynamic strain energy release rates($G_c$) from the Charpy impact energy measurements. An instrumented Charpy impact tester was used to extract ancillary information concerning fracture parameters in addition to total fracture energies and maximum critical loads. The dynamic stress intensity factor $K_{Id}$ was computed for varying amounts of rubber contents from the obtained maximum critical loads and also toughening effects were investigated as well. The fracture surfaces produced under low velocity impact fur PVC/MBS composites were investigated by SEM. The results show that MBS rubber is very effective reinforcement material for toughening PVC.C.

  • 본 논문은 알루미늄 6061의 고속 충격 해석과 고속 충격 시험 결과를 비교 검증하여 금속 재료의 고속 충격에 의한 거동 특성을 연구하였다. 고속 충격 해석을 위해 만능재료시험기를 이용한 준정적 시험과 Hopkinson bar를 이용한 동적 시험을 통해 Huh-Kang 모델과 Johnson-Cook 파손 모델의 계수를 구했다. LS-DYNA 프로그램 해석을 이용하여 관통 속도와 형상을 결과로 예측했고 고속 충격 시험기를 이용한 시험 결과와 비교하였다. 이를 바탕으로 항공기 가스터빈 엔진 블레이드 컨테인먼트 평가 연구에 적용하고자 한다.

  • 이 연구에서는 초정지역의 충적층 지하수와 관련된 풍화대분포를 파악하고 단층파쇄대 조사를 위해 복합물리탐사(탄성파굴절법, 전기비저항, 지하투과레이더탐사)를 수행하였다. 탄성파속도 정보로부터 풍화대는 대상지역의 남서부로 갈수록 깊어지는 것으로 나타나는데 기반암까지의 심도 즉 풍화대의 두께는 또한 기존의 시추자료 및 지하수위 자료와 거의 일치한다. 소규모 단층과 관련된 파쇄대 조사에서는 탄성파굴절법, 전기비저항, 레이더탐사 자료를 속도와 비저항 구조를 복합적으로 천부까지 해석하여 단층파쇄대의 지표 경계등을 파악하였다. 복합 지구물리탐사로 정확히 제시된 풍화대와 파쇄대 등에 대한 정보는 충적층 지하수의 분포를 알아내는데 충분히 활용될 수 있을 것으로 보인다.

  • This paper describes the dynamic fracture behavior of brittle materials under impact loading by using INSAMCR program with instrumented charpy test machine. To calculate the Dynamic Stress Intensity Factor The finite element analysis methods program, INSAMCR, was used. Dynamic fracture characteristic was researched to verify a relationship between Dynamic Stress Intensity Factor and crack tip propagation velocity in WC-6%Co. The relationship between Dynamic Stress Intensity Factor and crack tip velocity revealed typical .GAMMA. shape. INSAMCR was run to verify experimental results in WC-6%Co and shows a good coincidence.

  • The machine structure or parts has been arrive at a fracture, depend on crack by repeated load. Machine designer is estimate of fatigue strength in early stages the design for prevent fatigue fracture, then necessary its load history. This research study is using diesel locomotive in measurement of load history for fatigue design of rolling stock. The relation between velocity and amplitude of load history was found. We confirmed that the increase of velocity make to increase the magnitude of amplitude.

고속철도용 윤축의 정${\cdot}$동적파괴인성 평가 (Static and Dynamic Fracture Toughness of Wheelset for High Speed Train)

  • The safety evaluations of railway wheelsets make use of the static fracture toughness obtained in ingot materials. The static fracture toughness of wheelset materials has been extensively studied by experiments, but the dynamic fracture toughness with respect to wheelset materials has not been studied enough yet. It is necessary to evaluate the characteristics of the fracture mechanics depending on each location for a full-scale wheelset for high-speed trains, because the load state for each location of the wheelset while running is different the contact load between the wheel and rail, cyclic stress in the wheel plate, etc. This paper deals with the fracture toughness depend on load rates. The fracture toughness depending on load rate data shows that once the downward curve from quasi-static values was reached, subsequent values showed a slow increase with respect to the impact velocity. This means that dynamic fracture toughness should be considered in the design code of the wheelset material.

콘크리트 삼점휨 시험편의 동적 파괴거동 (Dynamic Fracture Behaviors of Concrete Three-Point Bend Specimens)

  • 콘크리트 삼점휨 시험편의 변위제어에 의한 동적 파괴실험으로 하중과 하중점-변위가 측정되었다. 변형률 게이지를 사용하여 균열의 성장길이가 측정되었으며, 균열이 성장되는 동안의 평균속도는 0.16 ~ 66 m/sec이었다. 균열성장에 대한 파괴에너지는 측정된 외부일에 대한 하중점-변위에 대한 운동에너지와 영구변형이 고려되지 않은 탄성에너지의 차이로부터 계산되었다. 모든 균열속도에 대해 23mm의 균열성장 동안 미소균열이 성장되며, 51 mm의 최대 탄성0에너지까지 안정 균열성장과 이후의 불안정 균열성장을 보였다. 균열속도가 66msec인 경우를 제외하고 80mm의 균열성장에서 균열성장의 구속이 관측되었다. 균열속도에 대한 파괴에너지와 파괴에너지율의 분석은 13mm/sec보다 느린 경우에 정적 거동을 그리고 1.9m/sec보다 빠른 속도에서 동적 거동을 보였다. 동적 실험에서 측정된 하중과 하중점-변위 관계의 큰 차이에도 불구하고 관성력과 균열성장길이 그리고 탄성에너지의 차이로 불안정 균열성장 이전의 균열속도에 대한 파괴저항은 균열속도에 영향을 받지 않았다. 안정 균열성장 동안의 최대 파괴저항은 최대하중 이후 최대 탄성에너지에서 발생되며, 동적 실험이 정적 실험보다 147% 큰 값이었다.

  • The Charpy and Izod impact tests are the most prevalent techniques used to characterize the effects of high impulse loads on polymeric materials. WL-RDCB 시편의 동적 균열전파속도와 동적 응력확대계수 (Dynamic Stress Intensity Factors and Dynamic Crack Propagation Velocities in Polycarbonate WL-RDCB Specimen)

  • Dynamic fracture characteristics of Polycarbonate WL-RDCB specimen were investigated. The dynamic crack propagation velocities in these specimens were measured by using both high speed camera system and silver paint grid method developed and justified in the INHA Fracture Mechanics Laboratory. The measured crack propagation velocities were fed into the INSAMCR code(a dynamic finite element code which has been developed in the INBA Fracture Mechanics Laboratory) to extract the dynamic stress intensity factors. It has been confirmed that both dynamic crack arrest toughness and the static crack arrest toughness depend on both the geometry and the dynamic crack propagation velocity of specimens. The maximum dynamic crack propagation velocity of Polycarbonate WL-RDCB specimen was found to be dependent on the material property, geometry and the type of loading. The dynamic cracks in these Polycarbonate WL-RDCB specimens seemed to propagate in a successive manner, involving distinguished 'propagation-arrest-propagation-arrest' steps on the microsecond time scale. It was also found that the relat-ionship between dynamic stress intensity factor and dynamic crack propagation velocities might be represented by the typical '$\Gamma$'shape.
