The number of small businesses being founded nationally is constantly increasing and various kinds of aggressive efforts are being made to remain competitive. As such, political support by the government for small businesses that have great productivity and competitiveness must increase. The founding of small businesses is being promoted by the government in order to boost the economy, and interest in founding new businesses is high amongst not only college students, but even general workers. Thus, the purpose of this study is to examine problems regarding the founding of small businesses, and to give new businesses a competitive edge by presenting political answers to these problems. After analyzing the status of current issues concerning the foundation of small businesses, this paper suggests some positive policy alternatives. Existing studies on small businesses were focused on the promotion of small and medium distributors, and studies on policy alternatives aimed directly at promoting the businesses are, so far, insufficient. Further studies are required to examine political alternatives from the perspective of the roles of non-profit organizations, which the Government is responsible for, in supporting small business.

This study concerns performance evaluation of the research-funding agencies focused on Korea Science and Engineering Foundation(KOSEF). On the basis of the constituents approach and the systems approach of organizational effectiveness theory, the evaluation items are derived reflecting generic characteristics of the research-funding agencies, and their priorities are determined using analytic hierarchy process(AHP). Three groups of constituents with differing interest and expections are identified, and their perceptions on the importance of the evaluation items are measured through questionnaire survey. Analyses show that the evaluation items perceived important by each constituency are significant different from one another. The implications of the result to the Government and KOSEF are discussed.

This thesis is designed to discuss the development of the Korean Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapy and establish a development strategy for the future. The development has been achieved with the enthusiasm and interest of physical therapists from all over the country over the past 10 years since the establishment and the Academy has been receiving attention from the medical part. The Korean Academy of Orthopedic Manual Therapy will develop a variety of training programs for the research and development of orthopedic manual therapy and will establish a development strategy and master plan for the future in order to lay a foundation for orthopedic manual therapy.

One of the most fundamental problems in education in Korea up to yet is that teaching-learning activities in the classroom are carried out without considering each student\\`s interest, ability aptitude and other attributes. In 1995, National committee on Educational Reform of Korea recommended big changes on various aspects of the education system of the nation. In 1997, just before so-called the \\\"International Monetary Fund (IMF) crisis \\\" in Korea, Ministry of Education announced the seventh amendment of national curriculum. The foundation of new national curriculum is the implementation of a \\\"differentiated\\\" curriculum. Also, the new curriculum strongly suggests \\\"performance assessment\\\", which was introduced to the nation in mid 1990\\`s. However, most mathematics teachers have reluctant to both new curriculum and performance assessment.

For years, the gold standard in facial rejuvenation has been the face lift. However, exploring new, less complex procedures for achieving the same goal is currently drawing interest. Rejuvenation of the perioral area is a difficult task for plastic surgeons because of the minimal effect that face lift procedures have over this region and the lack of published material on the subject. In this article, the descended mouth corner anguloplasty technique is presented. It is a 20-minutes lift technique that can correct this typical feature of the ageing mouth. The authors have treated 71 patients using the technique with consistently good results, with just one requiring revision. They conclude that this procedure by itself and in combination with other small operations or even a full face lift can rejuvenate the ageing face.

Purpose - This paper's goal is to assess and promote several good teaching product designs and several learning environments. The paper discusses research product design learning and management. Research design, data, and methodology - As part of information science and technology, a school uses several teaching networks for auxiliary teaching, taking several designs as the teaching foundation, and creating multimedia curricula. Results - The results indicate that in the best learning designs and environments, the learner can maintain a high interest, which not only attracts all levels in the schools, but also has a pivotal influence on teaching around the world. The research study answers the question, was the atmosphere already luxurious? Conclusions - This study introduces several methodologies that are widely used for experimental processes. Using multi-criterion decision-making technology in studies of language product evaluation systems, the language teaching quality and space design is developed, and the language classroom learning system, the machine operation, the classroom environment design method, etc., conform to specifics of the study, the best choices, the most effective utilization, and are the most efficient.

Recently, it has been reported that number of earthquakes was rapidly increased in the Korean Peninsula. According to the interest of seismic analysis, most of construction design must ensure the stability of structure against risks due to earthquake. Therefore, the ground reinforcement and application of seismic standards is necessary and the new structures must secure a stability about Earthquake under the Korea Seismic Analysis Standards. In this study, the 2D numerical analysis was performed to confirm a seismic stability and analysed that behavior of ground and dykes. The numerical seismic response analyses for dykes and its foundation soil were conducted with considering earthquake modes of short-period and long-period, and artificial seismic wave.

The purpose of this study was to identify needs of mothers in order to lay a foundation for improving the content of parent education in early childhood educational institutions. The mothers of 164 kindergarten children in Pusan participated in this study by a questionnaire developed by the researchers. Conclusions were that the felt needs of mothers identified in this study should be included in parent education programs along with knowledge, skills and attitudes selected by professionals. Selection of content should be based on the fact that most mothers have similar concerns and interest in raising their children, regardless of background. However, mother's educational level needs to be considered. Further study needs to be done on educational methods, and tentative models of parent education need to be designed in order to activate effective parent education.

Recently, the trends toward reduction in size and weight of industrial products increased the application of micro hole for manufacturing gadgets of high precision and gave rise to a great deal of interest for micro hole drilling M/C. Quite a few research work is performed on micro drilling on domestic basis compared with the tendency of analyzing cutting mechanism, adaptive control, monitoring of generally available drills of diameter greater than 1mm. This study adresses the design, manufacturing and controlling a micro hole drilling M/C with the overload detection instrument and the step feed mechanism. Controlling and monitoring of the drilling process are acomplished on PC basis for more user interfaces and effectiveness. The test machine of the results of this research shows a good foundation for extending further micro hole machining technique.
