The purpose of this study is to analyse the diagrammatic design approaches and programmatic design approaches in contemporary architecture, so that this reveals the sequential systems of circulation in the space and liberal movement of the visitors in the buildings of those diagrammatic and programmatic architecture. Contemporary architecture generates the new forms and meanings through the dynamic visions and perspectives. Such a variation of sequential vistas and dynamic visions produce a perception of time and a potential movements of axis in the perspective. This study give the systematic body to the relations among visions, movements, sequences, forms, circulations and time. Diagrammatic and programmatic design approaches show the heterogeneous spaces and the informal architectures in contemporary architecture. Therefore, movements of various view points, differrentiations of objects in the perspectives, and multiple view frames appears in the designs of initiative architects. In conclusion, this study systemizes the concepts of time, sequential movements, and perceptions of events in contemporary architecture through the analyse of 18 architectural works of important architects in 2000s. And this shows details of the transitional movement of space and the perception of time in contemporary Architecture. The Being of the active time constructs formal transformations, spacial differentiations, accumulations of human behaviors, and movements of circulations involved with experiences of the field of senses. Therefore, Zeitlichkeit is perceived through concepts of the sequences of those spaces, forms, behaviors, and memories.
Despite that it is relatively difficult to compare the movements in eastern and western dancing, this study approached hand-foot coordination movements, which involve lifting both an arm and a leg to stand on one foot, from a figurative point of view. In ballet, arabesque, developpe, and attitude were recognized as the example hand-foot coordination movements, and in Korean Dance, Oesawi, Gyeopsawi, and Meongseokmari of Mask Dance were classified into the hand-foot coordination movements. The figurative characteristics of these dances were approached from the aspects of racial traits, philosophies of dancing, and forms of movements. The following summarizes the findings about hand-foot coordination movements of this study. First, in relation to human physiology, eastern and western races have different traits. The forms of dancing have developed differently according to the builds and figures of dancers. Ballet is an elegant form of dancing using long legs and arms and its arabesque, developpe, and attitude movements emphasize stretching the body for an elegant and beautiful presentation. On the other hand, Korea was an agricultural society and lived closer to the land. As its people developed petite figures, its dancing movements, especially the hand-foot coordination movements, involved 'twisting' and 'walking down and up.' Second, despite that the hand-foot coordination movements are identical for east and west, ballet aims at the heaven and Korean Dance aims at the land according to the differences in the views of nature. Although the principle of hand-foot coordination movements is about aiming at the land, western philosophies and aesthetics pursue the heaven. Third, in ballet, the focus of beauty is the presentation of beautiful movements. Therefore, the hand-foot coordination movements precisely control the position and angle of arms and legs for the perfect balance of the body. On the other hand, the hand-foot coordination movements of Korean Dance are mostly rooted from natural daily movements and movements that enhance the efficiency of labor. Therefore, it is considered beautiful techniques even if the body looks rather unbalanced.
The objective of this study was to develop a scientific approach for investigating Korean dance in detail, and to examine the intense expressions and various movements, which are based on Danjeon breathing. For the purpose, we analyzed the movement changes and distribution of forces resulting from the switch in movement between exhalation and inhalation while bending, which is the most basic movement in Korean dance. The following conclusions were drawn from this study. In Korean dance, bending with breathing involves less back-and-forth-movement and more up-and-down movement, as compared to bending without breathing; this indicates greater body stability and a wider range of movements while bending with breathing. In addition, less time is required for bending with breathing at the point of switching from exhalation to inhalation, and it involves less movement of the supporting leg; thus, vending with breathing involves faster switching from bending movements to extending movements. While bending, the raised leg goes through a less smooth curve while breathing, which indicates stronger movement of the toes. Bending with breathing requires a greater braking force than bending without breathing, and the vertical force, generated by switching from exhalation to inhalation, is transferred to extending movements using the ground load. The results of this study can be potentially employed to investigate the expressions used in Korean dance on th basis of its principle of forces. Korean dance has evolved into various creative forms, and basic analytical studies of these diverse forms and related breathing methods re required in the future.
For clothing items that combine the top with the bottom, such as a jumper suit, it is necessary to design original forms to develop clothes in various styles that can satisfy aesthetic and functional needs. Therefore, to determine the original forms of women's jumper suits, this study aimed to analyze the patterns of women's jumper suits being sold in the market comparatively and evaluate their fitness. For the study method, this researcher obtained five types of women's jumper suits from local brands and compared the patterns' measured sizes, then conducted exterior evaluation on the surplus according to five different movements and analyzed the values of distortion of clothing pressure comparatively. According to the results, in the basic posture, brands A and C received favorable results, while in the other movements, brand B, which had the biggest surplus on the bottom, was evaluated favorably. In conclusion, in the patterns of women's jumper suits, a bigger surplus is added to either the crotch length or crotch girth rather than the top length, and the top and the bottom tend to have a different surplus according to the design. In addition, based on the values of body surface lengths according to the range of movements, this study suggests that an additional surplus be added to the length.

This paper presents a damage assesment method for buried pipelines subjected to Deep Excavation-induced ground movements. Ground deformation characteristics resulting from 3D finite element analysis was represented mathematically by a hyperbolic tangential function. A parametric study was performed on excavation depth and burial position of pipeline. The result of the parametric study indicate that length of hyperbolic tangential function affects the results of damage assessment. Using numerical studies for buried pipeline response to ground movements by relative flexibility of the pipe-soil system. The result of numerical studies are presented in forms of design charts which can be readily used for various condition encountered in practices.

Three different improvements of the Velocity-based model were proposed in a minimal velocity-based pedestrian model. The improvements of the models are based on the different agent forms. The different representations of the agent lead to different results, in this paper, we simulated the pedestrian movements in some typical scenes by using different agent forms, and the agent forms included the circles with different radiuses, the ellipse and the multi-circle stand for one pedestrian. We have proposed a novel model of pedestrian dynamics to optimize the simulation. Our model specifies the pedestrian behavior using a dynamic ellipse, which is parameterized by their velocity and can improve the simulaton accuracy. We found a representation of the pedestrian much closer to the reality. The phenomena of the self-organization can be observable in the improved models.
Unlike pure art such as painting and sculpture, dressmaking , a field of special plastic art, is characterized by its physical and functional nature. Having an inseparable relation with form, it is a field of art expressiion the human innersense of beauty in correlation with other various fields of art. In this respect, I think it should be necessary for us to study the forms of art from the past in order to study the forms of art from the past in order to study the correlations and mutual influencies between forms of pure art and dressmaking and to understand modern dressmaking from the standpoint of art. In this context, this study is an attempt to analze how the form and characteristics of OP ART , which represents the trends of the 1960's is embodied in modern dresses. The results are as follows : Fist , the expression of OP ART in dresses have visual effects harmonizing with bodily movements and , also, expanded the range and dynamics of expression which resulted from the introduction of visual phenomena in a fresh new sense by not limiting itself to the suggestion of patterns of OP ART. Second, OP ART paintings expressed the mobility and rhythimicity of a body in a limited space in a two-dimensional plane way of expression . When a dress is worn, however, it expands such mobility and rhythmicity in a cubic , three-dimensional way, maximizing the effects of , and boldly expression, OP ART, it can also create a new silhuette and ability of formation by seeking an open expression of OP ART rather than an expression of OP ART it self , due to the infinite possibility and unpredictability by the dynamics of movements and the elements principle of designs. Third , by applying the patterns of OP ART to dresses, we can obtain special visual effects of design, cover up the body's weak points, and create a desired three -dimensional sense by highlighting the beauty of the body's curved lines. Although modern dresses and OP ART are different genres of art, both have something in common in their pusuits. Since there is a infinite possibility in OP ART, there should be continuous attempts to combine dresses and art satisfying the sense of the times, which will lead dressmaking to a higher-dimensional dressmaking plastic art.
The historical turbulence between China and Japan started from the First Sino-Japanese War in 1895, and culminated in Japan's invasion of China during World War Two (the Second Sino-Japanese War) between 1937 and 1945. A series of wars caused huge human and material losses in both countries, and both experienced comprehensive transformations during and after the wars. The impact of this historical turbulence is so long-lasting that it still influences both countries' social psyche. Moreover, it continues casting a long shadow upon the current Sino-Japanese relations. The recent turbulence in Sino-Japanese relations partly stems from the historical turbulence. It is much less violent but can also be emotional and worrisome. It started from the early 1980s (the Japanese history textbook controversy in 1982 and the 1985 anti-Japanese student protests in China), and culminated in the anti-Japanese mass demonstrations in multiple Chinese cities in 2005 (Bush 2010; Gries 2005; Reilly 2012; Stockmann 2010; Weiss 2008). In addition to dramatic demonstrations on streets, there are also other forms of movements, such as war reparations movements, in which Chinese war victims demand reparations from the Japanese state and companies (Rose 2005; Xu and Fine 2010; Xu and Pu 2010). Although the tension has existed for many years and surfaced from time to time, the eruption of the nationwide anti-Japanese movements in China in 2005 still shocked many outside observers. Many scholars have tried to explain the anti-Japanese sentiment within current Chinese society that underlies and drives these social movements. Through careful reexamination of the existing literature, this article proposes an explanation for the anti-Japanese sentiment from a perspective that stresses the shifting state-society interaction in China's Japan policy. Specifically, the totalitarian Chinese state's neglect and suppression of genuine social concerns regarding Japan in earlier years, followed by a relatively liberalized state that tolerates societal participation in Sino-Japanese relations, are an importance source of the anti-Japanese sentiment recently observed in China.
Taegeuk is the source and union of the two primary aspects of the cosmos, Eum(陰, Yin) and Yang(陽). The Neo-Confucian philosophers of Chinese Song(宋) dynasty associated Taegeuk with the supreme rational principle of the universe. Taegeuk is a powerful blend of self-discipline, self-defense and healing. It is an art which has grown over the millennia to include hundreds of forms and variations, and can easily take a lifetime to master. Taegeukgwon based on the Taoist philosophies of Eum(陰, Yin) and Yang(陽) is an ancient Eastern form of exercises, characterized by slow reversing movements. There is strong research evidence validating Taegeuk as a safe form of exercise having potential for health promotion and rehabilitation. Today, Taegeukgwon has spread worldwide. The Internal Training of Taegeuk is one of the exercises for regiment. As exercise, Taegeukgwon is designed to provide relaxation in the process of body-conditioning exercise and is drawn from the principles of Taegeuk, notably including the harmonizing of the Eum-yang(陰陽, Yin-yang), respectively the passive and the active principles. It employs flowing, rhythmic, deliberate movements, with carefully individually prescribed stances and positions. In practice, two masters teach the system exactly alike. As a mode of attack and defense, Taegeukgwon resembles Kungfu and is properly considered a martial art. It may be used with or without weapons. Freehand exercise to promote health was practiced in Korea. This training proved to have effect on hypertension, enervation, impotence, premature ejaculation, seminal emission, chronic gastrointestinal diseases, and arteriosclerosis. There have been many schools of Taegeukgwon. Depending on school and master, the number of prescribed exercise forms varies from 24 to 108 or more. The objective of this paper is to reconsider Taegeukgwon and its effect on the body and mind-conditioning in Hwangjenaegyeong(黃帝內經).

Objectives : To introduce the medicare listing system for the clinicians that korean society of Chuna manual medicine for spine and nerves applies presently and wants to promote. Methods : Compare and analyse the differences, merits and demerits between Palmer-Gonstead listing system and medicare listing system using the publications and literatures of Chuna manual medicine and chiropractic. Results : It is easy to explain the movements and subluxations of spine when using medicare listing system. Also it has simple terminological system that can be applied when diagnosing the lesion of spinal joints with various palpations, Conclusion : Listing system used by Korean society of Chuna manual medicine for spine and nerves presently has very appropriate forms to indicate the movements and subluxations, However, it needs to spread to clinicians who still are using former listing system by continuous education.
