In the study, we described on the 3D solid model be made on the AutoCAD haved an effect on the deviation of form as RP manufactures the facetres. The STL file improved the deviation of form as the facetres value but the deviation of form have the difference a little as the RP system. In result, we ruled the correlation with the 3D solid model and the RP sample manufacturing, with manufacture RP sample according to facetres value in complex shape. And we developed the program which recombination the STL file that we make use of the AutoLISP.
With the developments in knitting, manufacturing, and polymers, coated gloves have been evolved in a way to maximize occupational safety and functionality. In this paper, we have considered the PU-coating process for the glove knitted by Dyneema to reduce the occurrence of the defects due to air bubble. This paper classifies the types of defect due to air bubble and traces their forming mechanisms. The air between coating layer of glove and mold's surface forms the defects if it is not evacuated fully in the process of submerging into water. The defects can be suppressed or avoided by forming air-evacuating path on the surface of the molds.
The multi-piloting type progressive die for U-bending sheet metal production part is a very specific division. This study reveals the sheet metal forming process with multi-forming die by center carrier type feeding system. Through the FEM simulation by DEFORM, it was accepted to u-bending process as the first performance to design of strip process layout. The next process of die development was studied according to sequence of die development, i.e die structure, machining condition for die making, die materials, heat treatment of partially die components, know-how and so on. The feature of this study is the die development of scrapless progressive die of multi-stage through the modeling on the I-DEAS program, components drawing on the Auto-LISP, CAD/CAM application, ordinary machine tool operating and revision by tryout.
This study is an investigation far the Am optimum design using FEA. We write out program which express ADS perfectly and reduce the required time far correcting of model to the minion in solution md manufacture result. We complete algorithm which can plan optimum forming of model by feedback error information in CAE. Then we contract model by feedbback date obtaining in solution process, repeat course following stress solution again iud do modeling rachet wheel for optimum forming. That is our aim. In cachet wheel, greatest equivalence strss originates in key groove comer and KS standard is proved the design far security.
Hydroforming is a method for forming circular tubes. If this technology is to be applied economically, it is essential to have knowledge of the avoidance of failure cases as well as of the behavior of the tube in the tool under the compressive stress and forces that are exerted by the machine. A finite element simulation for manufacturing of lower arm from straight tubes, using the hydroforming method, was performed to investigate the effects of varying process parameters. Explicit method is used to simulate hydroforming in many cases, but that is not included flow rule. And then it needs simulation for implicit method. It was simulated by two methods, implicit and explicit, to compare the result of the hydroforming.
In the previous experimental study about extru-bending of angle product, the bending of extruded angle products with the '${\wedge}$' section and 'ㄱ' section can be abtained by the hot metal extru-bending machine with the two punches moving in the different velocity. The bending curvature can be controlled by the different velocity of billets through the two-hole container. This paper describes simulation of extru-bending process by the difference of punch velocities. The result of the forming simulation by $DEFORM^{TM}-3D$ shows that the bending phenomenon at the die exit during extrusion can be abtained by the two punches moving in the different velocity. And it is possible to design extrusion dies and to control the curvature of product through the simulation of extru-bending process by analysis
The MDDA (Modified Dynamic Drainage Analyzer) was developed to evaluate the drainage characteristics on paper machine. The initial forming vacuum velocity was decreased with the increase of stock consistency and there were no significant effects of the applied vac-uum. On the other hand the initial forming drainage velocity was rapidly decreased with the increase of stock consistency above the 0.35 bar of applied vacuum. The final drainage time and wet web permeability showed similar trends under 0.075% consistency but increased rapidly at the higher consistencies. SFR(Specific Filtration Resistance) and drainage obtained for different vacuum level applied and deposited weights measured by using MDDA showed the linear relationship.
For the purpose of establishing laser welding condition(laser power, welding speed and beam focus) and of evaluating tailor welded blank for three kinds of thin steel sheets of SPCC, SK5M and SUS304 using in the thin plate structure such as automobile, train and so on. Their $CO_2$ laser weldability were primarily tested under various welding condition. SPCC and SUS304 thin sheets showed good weldability under some welding condition. But, high carbon steel sheet SK5M needs heat treatment after welding to obtain higher tensile strength and ductility of the welded joint. And next, laser welding condition. Butt-welded specimens were not nearly broken at weld bead. However, base material were ruptured in the direction of circumference. The forming depths by tailor weld bead. However, base material were ruptured in the direction of circumference. The forming depths by tailor welded blank were SPCC+SPCC=22~25mm, SUS304+SUS304=25~43mm and SK5M+SK5M=13~17mm.
Sandwich structures, which are composed of a thick core between two thin faces, are commonly used in many engineering applications because they combine high stiffness and strength with low weight. Depending on the application of a particular sandwich structure, various types of cores can be used. The production of sandwich sheets by a rolling process, which is a more efficient and economical approach compared to other types of processes, has become an increasingly important subject of study. In this paper, we have studied the embossing structure of sheet type and developed embossing roll mold with $\Phi3$ pattern and roll forming system.
In consideration of the injuries and deaths occurring at manufacturing sites due to the use of inappropriate work clothes or safety devices, this study aims to categorize manufacturing work processes to develop functional work clothes for heavy industries including the automobile, machine and shipbuilding industries in South Korea. Defining the features of the work environments and work postures of these industries provided for a categorization of the work processes which would enable the development of suitable work clothes for each work process' category. The results of the study based on a questionnaire survey are as follows: Work process category 1, including steel panel pressing and auto body assembly, final inspection (in automobile) and inspection (in machine), requires work clothes with upper body and arm mobility and performance to protect from the toxic fume factor. Work process category 2, consisting of welding (in automobile), cutting-and-forming (in machine) and attachment-and-construction (in shipbuilding), requires clothing elasticity, durability and heat and fire resistance. Work process category 3 comprising welding and grinding in the machine and shipbuilding industries, requires work clothes' tear resistance and elasticity, particularly for lateral bending mobility, and work clothes' sleeves' and pants' hemlines with sealed designs to defend against iron filing penetration, as well as incombustible and heat-resistant material performance. Finally, work process category 4, including painting in machine and shipbuilding, requires work clothes with waterproofing, air permeability, thermal performance, elasticity, durability and abrasion resistance.
