China's intangible cultural heritage at the national level amounts to more than 1,500 species, and it is also the country with the largest number of items on UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage list, so the intangible cultural heritage of the country and mankind is very much treasured and cared for. However, with the development of the times, many intangible cultural heritages are facing a dilemma due to the problem of a single form of communication. However, at the same time, the efficient and convenient way of information visualization provides innovative ideas and new opportunities for the visual communication of Chinese intangible cultural heritage. This paper examines the formal characteristics of infographic visual expression on the theoretical basis of books and related papers and analyzes the application cases and advantages of infographics in the communication of Chinese intangible cultural heritage in the context of the present era. It aims to explore a fast and novel visual presentation method for the communication of Chinese intangible cultural heritage through infographic design methods, to promote the inheritance and development of Chinese intangible cultural heritage in the new era.

Purpose: With a rapid advance of communication technology, distributional systems of sport contents continue to show improvements. In particular, a traditional framework in creating sport cartoon has been influenced by the environment of the communication industry. Despite the development of distributional systems, the current sport cartoon industry still lacks in advancement. To this day, various research about sport contents have been conducted; yet, not many studies of the interaction between sport cartoons and communication technology have been done. In this respect, this study is to review the distributional environment of the sport cartoon industry and provide distributional strategies for developing sport cartoon industry. Research design, data, and methodology: In addition to in-depth interviews with five practitioners in sport cartoon industry, the study employed case study methodology. Interview data were analyzed by qualitative content analysis. Results: With new environments allowing anyone allowing to create and share webtoons, various genres including sports webtoons appear, and this became amotive to the growth of sports webtoons. Today, sports comics acted as a sports advertisement platform which not only created additional profit but also became an opportunity as a marketing method. On the contrary, the formal attributes of webtoons cause hardship in consistently creating sports webtoons. Hence, it is needed that supporting policies need to be established to nurture sport webtoon expertise. For example, Korea Creative Content Agency allows future webtoon authors to have an opportunity to be educated and equipped in producing creative sport webtoon contents. Moreover, revenue systems should be developed for motivating webtoon authors to involve in sport contents in their works. Conclusions: In order to promote the sports cartoon industry based on the findings, it is first necessary to create sports comics that reflect the formal characteristics of webtoons and the changing consumer environment. Second, it is important to acknowledge the industrial value of sports comics and it is necessary to promote policies regarding sports webtoon production and distribution from a national level. Third, by diversifying profits through OSMU and sports advertisements, it is possible to enhance the work environment and the treatment of authors. Implications and future directions were discussed.

The purpose of this study was to explore what kinds of science communication are ongoing in formal and informal settings for learning about nuclear energy, which is very important issue domestically and internationally. The researchers collected and analyzed data from science textbooks at elementary and middle school levels, from exhibitions in Y informal hall that belongs to one nuclear power plant, and from 40 bestselling books about nuclear energy in order to explore the kind of science communication. The same process was used to explore Japanese case so that we could compare the results with Korean cases and draw implications for enhancing science communication about nuclear energy. The science communication of nuclear energy in Korea included implicit and indirect content espoused in science textbooks; two opposite views displayed in bestselling books, and positive aspects mainly displayed in exhibition of information hall in nuclear power plant. It is suggested that both direct and explicit science communication along with the neutral viewpoints including positive and negative ones be provided for the public to form a good understanding of nuclear energy.

Based on the results from the data analysis, several suggestions are given in the viewpoint of the libraries and information librarians.

The objective of this research is to develop a formal framework and methodology to facilitate real-time data integration, thus enabling semantic interoperability among distributed and heterogeneous information systems. The proposed approach is based on the concepts of "ontology" and "semantic mediators." An ontology is developed and used to capture the intension (including structure, integrity rules and meta-properties) of the database schema. We also develop the agent communication protocol for semantic reconciliation, which is based on the theory of speech acts and agent communication language. This protocol is used by a set of semantic mediators, which automatically detect and resolve various semantic conflicts at the data- and schema-levels by referring to the ontology. A mediation-based query processing technique is developed to provide uniform and integrated access to the multiple heterogeneous information sources. Prototype tools are being implemented to provide proof of concept for this work.

Although both functional verification and performance evaluation are necessary for the development of effective and reliable communication systems, they have been often performed independently; by functional modeling with formal language tools and by performance modeling with professional network performance evaluation tools, respectively. Separate and repeated modeling of one system, however, would often result in cost increase and inconsistency between the models. This paper proposes an integrated model design approach in order to overcome this problem that evaluates the performance of a communication protocol designed in SDL with SDL-OPNET model conversion. The proposed technique generates OPNET skeleton code from Tau-generated C code of the SDL model by analyzing the relations between SDL and OPNET models. IEEE 802.2 LLC protocol was used as an example of model conversion to show the applicability and effectiveness of the proposed technique.

일반적으로 크고 복잡한 소프트웨어 시스템은 커다란 다이아그램의 집합으로 구성되지만 이들 각각의 다이아그램들이 일관성이 있고 완전한가를 알기는 매우 어렵다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위하여 [1]에서는 최근 객체지향 개발에서 많이 사용되고 있는 UML 다이아그램들에 대한 일관성과 완전성을 검사하기 위하여 각 다이아그램들을 ER 모델로 표현하고, 각 다이아그램에 대한 공통된 표현으로 통합된 ER 다이아그램을 제공하였다. 이렇게 통합된 다이아그램은 일편의 집합과 함수들을 사용하여 정형적으로 명세되며, 이러한 정형 명세를 기반으로하여 일관성과 완전성 검사를 수행하기 위한 규칙을 제공하였다. 그러나 [1]에서 정형적으로 명세된 집합과 함수를 실제로 사용하기 위해서는 우리가 알고있는 정형 명세 언어로 변환할 필요성이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 이러한 집합을 추상자료형으로 명세하여 정의하고, 추상자료형으로 표현된 명세를 우리가 잘 알고 있는 Z 명세로 변환하여 검증 도구를 설계하는 기초로 사용하고자 한다. Z 명세는 쉽게 실행가능한 형태로 변환되어 검증 시스템을 구축할 수 있게 된다.

The main purpose of this study is to find out how each students' different cognitive styles and cognitive developmental stages influence their mathematical communication capabilities. Our results are as follows: First, there was an interaction effect between cognitive styles and cognitive developmental stages. Students in the independent-formal group get good marks in written ability. Students' cognitive developmental stages influence their writing abilities. Second, There is a little difference in oral communication ability depending on cognitive styles. Students in the field-independent group participated in more actively and creatively, and showed competency in expressions and speaking skills and students' cognitives styles inflence their speaking abilities.

최근 웹서비스의 사용은 메시지 수준의 상호운용성 및 시스템 통합의 용이성으로 인해 빠르게 확장되고 있다. 웹서비스 기반 응용 또는 웹서비스는 다른 웹서비스를 선택하여 이용하게 된다. 이러한 웹서비스의 선택은 정적으로 이루어지므로 신규 웹서비스에 대한 생성 및 서비스에 대한 상태 변화가 지속적으로 이루어지는 환경에서 최적의 서비스 결정 및 선택은 전체 응용의 성능에 영향을 미치게 된다. 웹서비스 사용자 간의 신뢰성과 안정성을 제공하기 위해서는 품질 정보를 유지하기 위한 하부 구조에 대한 확장이 필요하며, 품질 정보가 추가된 웹서비스에 대한 정보에 대한 정의 및 수집이 이루어져야 한다. 이 논문에서는 웹서비스의 품질요소에 대한 정형화된 정의를 기술한다.
