본 연구 목적은 주요 항공사별 여객의 동향과 변동률을 도출하고 방향성과 동조화현상을 파악하는데 있다. 통계청 국가통계포럼에서 항공사별 자료를 수집하고 2011년 1월부터 2023년 11월까지 총 155개 월간자료를 활용하였다. 국내 대형항공사인 대한항공과 아시아나항공, 저비용항공사인 제주항공, 진에어, 티웨이 그리고 외국항공사를 대상으로 변동률을 산출하였다. 분석결과, 상관관계분석은 한국 총 여객에 대해 아시아나, 대한항공, 제주항공, 티웨이, 진에어, 외항사 순으로 높게 나타났다. 상승률은 티웨이, 진에어, 제주항공, 외항사, 아시아나, 대한항공 순으로 높게 나타났다. Scatter 분석에서 한국 총 여객에 대해 아시아나와 대한항공이 매우 강한 동조화현상을 보여주었고, 제주항공, 티웨이, 진에어, 외항사은 일정 수준 유사한 방향성을 보여주었다. Box-Box Plot 분석에서, 각 항공사는 코로나 19 발생으로 일시적인 급등락현상이 다수 발생하였던 것으로 보였다. 저비용항공사의 출현으로 승객 입장에서는 선택의 폭이 넓어지면서 서비스에 대한 기대감이 커질 것이고 그럴수록 항공사 간 경쟁이 높아질 것으로 보여 기업 발전을 위해 이를 만족시킬 수 있는 환경개선이 뒤따라야 할 것이다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the current brand of mail-order clothing, consumers' attitude over importance of brand and the effectiveness of brand when consumers purchase clothing by mail-order shopping. for this study, mail order catalogs were analyzed and the samples were collected through the questionaire distributed to 214 women. It was analyzed by SAS package. The results are as follows; 1. As a result of mail-order catalog analysis, domestic clothing included few famous brand except foreign brand. 2. The users of mail-order purchasing were old and married women comparably. They were also high clothing-expense users and housekeepers. Item that consumers wanted to buy using mail-order shopping were home-wear, night-wear, accessories and scarves which were involved low risks comparably. 3. Consumers regard brand significantly as a means of credit in purchasing mail-order shopping clothing. In analysis between importance of mail-order clothing brand and demographics, degree of education and clothing expense per month showed significant difference.

Properties of agricultural products are important for engineering design and analysis with respect to their mechanical harvesting, handling, transporting and processing. Researcher have presented the data of properties for various kinds of agricultural products. These data, however, are obtained from the materials produced in foreign countries, and a very few data could be found in Korea. In this paper, emphasis put on the importance of measuring the properties of agricultural products through an extensive review of literatures, and some experimental results on the viscoelastic and elastic properties of the materials are presented. Viscoelastic characteristics of some agricultural materials, specifically the force-deformation-time relationship of the whole orange and cylindrical samples of cheese under different types of loading were investigated. In elastic test, the response of apple during an impact and the relationships among various parameters such u degree of damage, drop height and absorbed energy were determined.

For the past three decades, extensive research has been performed in the surface design of new polymers for a variety of medical applications. Great progress in therapeutics and diagnostics can be attributed to these scientific advances in biomedical polymers. A variety of bioinert materials or bioactive materials using drugs, cells, and growth factors are widely utilized for the implants, devices and tissue regeneration. These materials provide an improved biocompatible materials to host, to significantly decrease or increase the host/tissue/blood response to the foreign materials. In the future, biomaterials will play a different role in modern therapeutics. New materials will be tailored to interact more on a protein and cellular level to achieve high degree of biocompatibility, biospecificity and bioacitivity. In this presentation, various biocompatible materials based on surface/bulk engineering will be demonstrated, which can be utilized as therapeutics implants and therapeutic vehicles for biologically active molecules such as cell, protein /peptide and gene.

In 2000, the economy of Asia made a V-character type recovery from the currency and financial crisis in 1997. The increase in exports is assumed to be one of the causes. To negotiate with foreign countries, English must be indispensable in many cases. In this study, we investigated how English education is performed in East Asian countries while focusing on English textbooks. We metrically analyzed some textbooks used junior high schools and high school in Japan and Korea, and elementary schools in China and Singapore to compare them with U.S.A and U.K textbook. We investigated some characteristics of character-and word-appearance of English textbook using an exponential function. Moreover we derived the degree of difficulty far each material through the variety of words and their frequency on the basis of the required English vocabulary in Japanese junior high schools. As a result we could show at which level of U.S.A. or U.K the English textbooks used in East Asian countries are.

This study examines how an initially perceived product value affects consumer's purchase intention after reading online reviews with various tones. The study proposes that associations among initially perceived overall product value, degree of confirmation resulting from reading the reviews, and final purchase intention differ across review tones such that 1) when the tone is favorable, the effect of an initially perceived product value is stronger than when the tone is critical, and 2) when the tone is extreme, the effect of confirmation is stronger than when the tone is moderate. The survey was conducted with 276 online shopping mall users in Korea, and most of the hypotheses were supported. This study asserts that the effects of online reviews should be considered together with customer's level of expectation formed prior to reading online reviews, which resulted from extensive search and screening processes that the customer went through before reading online reviews.

The education examination and qualification systems around the world are now changing rapidly and unifying as one system. The Korean national system should be harmonious with this international tendency, in order to overcome the high degree of international economic competition. In this article, the current state of the international and national systems are critically compared and discussed with the intention of proposing improvements to the Korean national system. The Korean Welding Society has revamped its system so that its certificates might be recognized by the welding institutions in foreign countries such as the European Welding Federation (EWF) and still be recognized by the Korean Government. Their desire to join the system of International Institute of Welding (IIW).

The formation of sulfide from sulfate has been discussed from the thermodynamic principles. No mechanism of the reaction has been presented. From the stoichiometric and Nernst equations for the conversion of sulfate into sulfide, it was concluded that the formation of sulfide from sulfate can take place more readily if pH of a medium is low. The difficulty of this conversion increases with increasing pH. As pH of a medium increases, the degree of dissociation of H₂S into S= increases and this, in turn, renders the chance of precipitation of sulfide as FeS easier. Higher the pH of a soil or medium, greater is the S= concentration. The concentration of ferrous ion required to remove dissolved sulfide in a medium by forming insoluble FeS decreases with increasing pH. From the theory it was pointed out that an application of lime and iron rich foreign substances to a soil may be effective in causing the removal of dissolved sulfide from solution.

Nevertheless the serious environmental pollution in Korea has been discussed in concern with health effect, the significant effect are not determined easily. Toxicological method has been used to establish safe levels of exposure for environmental pollutants to have threshold health effect below which significant effects are unlikely to occur. However the conventional method cannot to establish safe levels of exposure for non-threshold pollutants have been used to express comprehensive pollution degree, not in detailed toxic effects. Acceptable exposure or risk levels are decides by policymakers who consider descriptions and estimates of risks together with social and economic benefits. This paper focuses on the concept development of risk assessment and describes some risks of environmental pollution based on the surveyed date in Korea. The current concepts of risk assessment in policy descisions can be explored and areas for possible improvement, given current scientific knowledge are identified. The experience of foreign countries can provide a realistic basis for evaluating the existing data of environmental pollutants. To improve the environmental quality, risk regulation should be managed as soon as possible in Korea.

Of the assumptions commonly used in continuous infection model, the least likely to be even approximately true in large population, is that of homogeneous mixing. In this paper, We investigate a model for the spread of infection amongst a population which is divided into classes, such that the individuals of each class mix homogeneously amongst themselves, but mix to a lesser degree with individuals of other class. The stochastic model in this form is intractable and approximations are made, yielding results in reasonable agreement with simulation trials.
