  • This research suggests critical and specific decisive variables that affect general service quality of the products in family restaurants, considering features of services in which consumption and production happens simultaneous by collecting the raw data through point of sales. It also analyses the factors and helps to offer them practical strategies by providing managers of the restaurants and marketers with empirical viewpoints based on the research. Generally, family restaurants need their own physical environment and are required to encourage customers to revisit themselves by maintaining pleasant environment as well as, considering space for customers and for employees' working routes and effective maintenance of the facilities. The result of the study also tells that even if the unimportant factors did not affect much on the restaurants, management over these factors can be a differentiated strategy for competitive advantage over the other businesses.

텍스트 마이닝을 통한 한국과 중국 시내면세점 만족 속성과 소비자 평점에 미치는 영향 분석 -중국인 관광객을 중심으로 (A Text Mining Analysis of Attributes for Satisfaction and Effect of Consumer Ratings to Korea and China Duty Free Stores - Focusing on Chinese Tourists -)

  • 본 연구에서는 중국 최대 온라인 리뷰 사이트인 Dazhong Dianping에서 중국인 관광객들은 한국과 중국 시내 면세점의 어떠한 속성들을 중요하게 생각하며 어떠한 Cluster들이 별점 점수(만족도)에 영향을 미치는지에 대해 알아보고자 하였다. 따라서 한국 시내면세점 리뷰 5,659개 중국 산야 시내면세점 리뷰 4,051개 총 9,710개를 R을 활용하여 텍스트 마이닝 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 한국 시내 면세점에서는 Sale, Membership, Food가 총 별점에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 중국 시내면세점에서 Sale, Product, Airport, Food, Membership이 총 별점에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 면세점 만족도 속성 중 Food라는 속성을 발견하면서 면세점 쇼핑 중 이용할 수 있는 식당 등의 편의 시설 공간을 제공하는 것이 중요함을 알 수 있었다. 이는 면세점 선택 및 만족의 새로운 속성을 찾았다는 점에 기인하여 연구를 확장시킬 수 있었다. 실무적으로 면세점 종사자들에게 식당 등의 편의시설 공간 제공이 중요함을 인식시킬 수 있었다.

유통 올리브유의 잔류 헥산에 대한 연구 (Study of the Presence of Residual Hexane in Olive Oils)

  • 국내에서 유통되는 국내외 브랜드의 extra virgin급과 정제/혼합 올리브유에 잔류된 헥산의 함량을 측정하기 위하여 신속하고 간편한 headspace법을 이용한 전자코(a-FOX 3000, Alpha M.O.S., France)를 이용하여 분석하였으며, head-space-SPME 법을 사용한 GC/MS 분석방법을 이용하여 정량하였다. 전자코 분석결과, 올리브유에 함유된 헥산의 존재 유무 및 농도를 예측할 수 있을 것으로 사료되었으며, 1차로 수거된 국내에 유통 중인 5종의 국내 브랜드 extra virgin급, 10종의 국외브랜드 extra virgin급과 7종의 국내외 브랜드인 혼합/정제 올리브유의 경우 헥산의 잔류 합유량은 잔류되어 있지 않거나, 잔류되어 있다고 하더라도 국내 허용치인 5 ppm 미만으로 예측되었다. 잔류 헥산을 정량하기 위하여 polydimethylsiloxane(PDMS)으로 코팅된 fiber를 사용한 headspace SPME-GC/MS를 사용하였다. 이 때 시료의 head space산출을 위한 최적의 휘발촉진 온도를 선정하기 위하여 각 온도별 검량선 작성한 결과 $R^2$값이 99.99%로 가장 재현성이 높을 것으로 판단되는 $70^{\circ}C$에서 30 min 동안의 휘발촉진과정을 통하여 휘발성분을 fiber에 흡착하였다. 1차로 수집한 총 22개의 올리브유 중 총 6개의 시료에서 헥산이 검출되었고, 2차로 수집한 총 19개의 올리브유에서는 총 2개의 시료에서 헥산이 검출되었으나, 검출된 잔류 헥산의 양은 모두 국내 규정한계농도(5 ppm) 이하인 1 ppm 이하인 것으로 확인되었다.

  • Since mid 1990s, the domestic market in Korea has been changing drastically especially in the field of discount stores. The competition among this market is more severe and the consuming pattern is also changed. This study is to examine the correlation between the customer's circulation and the spatial configuration by using Space Syntax and VMD pattern through the MD plan of each floor in Discount store. Throughout this study, it tries to find out the Quantitative analysis among three factors - the customer's circulation, spatial configuration and VMD investigation. The pattern of customer's circulation appears differently according to the identity of customer and store layout, but with the result, customer's circulation system is in accordance with the floor layout in the store. In result of the study, the circulation of the customer was found to have a close relationship with spatial structure that is composed by the MD pattern in a discount store in the area of food section. Also, the circulation system in the rest area except food section is more affected by the VMD pattern rather than spatial structure.

  • Engineering of automated tools for the agro-food industries and the rural world activities have to pick up two challenges : to answer the immediate important problems related to the situation of these industries, and to imaging the tools that their professional will need next century. Creating or modifying automated tools in the next few will be made taking into account parameters either technical (environmental protection, health and safety), or social and economical (investment , employment). There will be a strong interaction with disciplines like ecology, medicine, ergonomy, psycho-sociology , etc. , The partners for such a research, tools manufactures and users, should have an early involvement in its content, in order to find rapidly the solution to the drastic problems they are meeting. On a longer term , during the next 20 years , there will be an important evolution of the rural space management and of the food processes. This will imply the emergence of new types of activities and know-how's , with lines of automated tools to be invented and developed , like : micro-system for organic localized tasks -mobile and adaptive equipments highly autonomous for natural space actions - device for perception , decision and control reproducing automatically the expert behaviors of human operators. Design of such automated tools need to overcome technological difficulties like the automation of the expert-decision process, or the management of complex design.

  • Through the increasing of social economies and cultural activities, the Food service industry have been growing up steadily in spite of low economic activity. This is owing to increasing income, participation of women in public affairs and a dual-income family, automobile culture, desire for healthful food, shorten working hours, changing of cultural style. Moreover, the recent importance of Interior finishing materials by means of fire in the Restaurant, legal fractional multiple use business establishment are recognized of publicity. Therefore, This Study aim object at probing into the characteristic of Interior finishing material and then analysing the characteristics of space and material according to the typical distribution. In the Interior planning of Restaurant, firstly it is need to probe the Characteristics of interior finishing material at the basic element. This study is going to apprehend the constitution of space and difference of proportion or a point of sameness in the characteristics of material. Moreover, the recent importance of Interior finishing materials by means of fire in the Restaurant, legal fractional multiple use business establishment are recognized of publicity. Throughout probe and analysing, it can append more efficiency and elasticity in the usage of interior finishing material.

한국의 현대 실내공간에 나타난 한국적 조형의식에 관한 연구 (The Study on the Korean Plastic Consciousness of the Contemporary Interior Space in Korea)

  • The three basic elements of human life -clothing, food and shelter- had been evolved through different periods and cultural realms, as their spatial applications show distinct characteristics that are manifested through sensibilities only inherent to its specific culture. Especially in the interior spaces, possibilities to approach them in three-dimensional aspects allow formal characteristics to be expressed that are distinct to the country. Formal sensibilities embedded in interior space In Korea also follows such pattern, developed through various contemporary interpretations of Korean traditional formal sensibilities, including harmony with nature, simplicity, lightness, real and fake, and principle of harmony are being redefined by spatially expressed in contemporary language. That is, traditional formal sensibilitiesare filtered through various application methods such as composition, negotiation and modification, accommodating spatial manifestations to be not simply preserved nor replicated, but rather reconstructed through metaphor, symbol, abstraction and contrast. From this perspective, the Korean traditional formal sensibilitiesis not a notion fixed in the past, but a distinct perspectives evolving throughout periods of time that are constantly reconsidered and reinterpreted in our interior space. By examining Korean sensibilities manifested in interior space in the both diachronic aspects of tradition vs. contemporary, as well as synchronic aspects among various disciplines simultaneously, we would be able to generate a linkage to the dichotomous categories of tradition and contemporary.

녹색관광 자원유형분석 및 국내 적용가능성 연구 (A Study on the Resources Analysis and Applicability for Green Tourism Development)

  • This study is aimed to define and classify GREEN TOURISM (GT) resources as the basis for rural sustainable development, and to analyze the current conditions of GT and applicable resources in Korea. For these purposes, a field survey about 24 rural villages in Japan and Korea is applied, accompanied by a questionnaire survey of 30 specialists, as well as a literature review. The results of this study are summarized as follows. The concept of GT has 3 important points: interchange between rural and urban residents, staying in villages, and residents' participation. GT resource are divided into 4 types: Agricultural, Ecological, Historical and Living resources in a space and activity program. In addition, the GT resources in Japan are more quantitatively abundant than in Korea, but Korean agricultural and ecological resources were more abundant relatively. According to the several methods above, 18 space and 14 activity programs were classified. Lastly, this study analyzed the applicable 32 Korean resources using the specialists' questionnaire survey. Among the space resources, ecological landscape, farm produce, farm-land, water, and historical landscape have higher applicability, but the applicability of sports, event, commemoration, and divine space are lower. Among the activity programs, farm produce, animal, plant, food&beverage, and living appliance have higher applicability.

친환경 생태공원 '하늘공원'의 홍보를 위한 전시 연출 및 디자인 (Directing and Design for Promotion Display Fair of an Ecological Park, 'Sky Park')

  • The purpose of this study, which has been conducted as a government and academic joint project, is to introduce the design, production and installation of the structures exhibited to let people know the meaning the environment-friendly eco-park - Haneul Park that is located in Mapo-gu, Seoul. The exhibition was held as a part of Green Garden Panorama of Seoul Design Fair 2010 and used the stands of Jamsil Sports Complex as the exhibition space. The key contents of the exhibition consist of four elements; firstly, green plants were placed on the first and second floor stands of the complex in order to create the space inside the main stadium as a space that symbolized green environment. Secondly, the usability of the containers of food was maximized to attract the spectator's interest and induce desire to have it. Thirdly, the efforts of the Mapo-gu office for green environment were emphasized using environment-friendly materials. The process and meaning of the transformation of Nanji Island that had been a waste dump site in the past into Haneul Park - an environment-friendly eco-park were expressed by a four-stage space structure. The majority of installations placed in each stage were sold to visitors during the event so as to minimize the generation of wastes after the event.

개별 가계특성에 따른 주택특성에 대한 수요행태 - 상품특성접근법의 적용- (Demand Behavior for Housing Characteristics According to Individual Household's Characteristics- Application of product Characteristic Approach-)

  • Product characteristic approach and hedonic method were explained and applied to demand behavior of housing for 360 households sampled from four districts of Seoul. Th major findings are: 1) Housing prices are determined by housing characteristics, i.e., basic structure, interior space, interior quality, and neighborhood quality. 2) as income increase , the demand for basic structure, interior space, interior of quality, and neighbor hood quality increases. As compared to the counties that have advanced housing financial systems, income elasticity form housing characteristics was low. 3) householder's educational level has insignificant effects on the demand for neighborhood quality. 4) the housing need of family is different to a family life cycle. In the first stage, the increase of income enhances the demand for basic structure. interior space, and interior quality, but inversed with neighborhood quality. In the second and third stages, the demand for basic structure, interior space, and interior quality increases as the income increases. 5) It is predicted that the larger the family size, the more housing space is required. But in the low-income group, an increase in family size results in a decrease in the demand for interior space because expenses for food and education are indispensable ones. In the middle -income group the demand for interior space, interior quality increases as the family size increases, In the high-income group, the larger the family size the more interior quality is demanded. As mentioned above, the demand for housing is derived form characteristics and the demand behavior far housing characteristics is varied with individual household's characteristics. Therefore, the fact that different housing needs according to various income groups should be considered in housing policy.
