  • This paper presents a speed sensorless implementation of digital speed control system of Surface Permanent-Magnet Synchronous Motor(SPMSM) drives with a direct torque control(DTC). The system presented are stator flux and torque observer of stator flux feedback control model that inputs are current and voltage sensing of motor terminal with estimated rotor angle for a low speed operating area, two hysteresis band controllers, an optimal switching look-up table, rotor speed estimator, and IGBT voltage source inverter by using fully integrated control software. The developed speed sensorless control system are shown a good motion control response characteristic results and high performance features using 1.0Kw purposed servo drive SPMSM.

  • In this paper, the new flux weakening contol algorithm for the drive system of Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor(IPMSM) is proposed which includes the feedback of torque and current The torque error is used in order to control the current phase angle in the field weakening control. The proposed control method is compared with the stator flux oriented vector control method. Through the simulation the prominence of the proposed control method is verified.

  • 본 논문에서는 유동전동기에 최근에 개발된 비선형 제어이론을 적용시켜 회전자 속도와 회전자 자속사이에 간섭이 일어나지 않는 선형 시스템으로 변환시킴으로써 제안한 제어기가 유도전동기를 고성능뿐만 아니라 고효율로 제어할 수 있음을 수학적인 분석, 시뮬레이션, 그리고 실험을 통해 보였다. 제안한 제어기는 d-p동기 회전축과 x-y고정자축 사이의 변환, 전기각 속도의 적분, 그리고 전압방정식에서 역기전력과 결합항의 보상등이 필요치 않기 때문에 기존 벡터 제어기보다 계산이 간단하다는 장점을 갖고 있고 특히 전동기 매개변수의 변화에 강인한(robust) 특징을 갖고 있다. 본 논문이 제안한 설계방법은 최근에 개발된 이론인 특이섭동기법(singular perturbation technoque)과 비간섭 궤환제어(noninteracting feedback control)에 기초를 두고 있는데 실제로 이 이론들이 유도 전동기의 속도 및 효율제어에 효과적으로 적용됨을 본 논문을 통해 보이고 있다.

  • 본 연구에서는 비선형 시스템을 선형 시스템으로 변환시키는 미분기하이론에 기초를 둔 비선형 궤환 선형화 기법을 유도전동기와 같은 비선형 시스템의 제어에 응용함으로써 완전한 비간섭 시스템을 얻을수 있음을 보였다. 또한, 엘리베이터와 같은 부하의 정속도 운전시 효율제어를 위해 회전자 자속을 변화시킬 때 이의 영향을 받아 값이 바뀌는 인덕턴스와 온도에 따라 가장 변화가 심한 회전자저항을 위한 추정알고리즘을 제안하고 이의 성능을 평가해 보기 위하여 시뮬레이션과 실험을 수행하였다.

  • The purpose of this study is to develop a minimally constraint joint angle measurement system for the feedback control of FES (functional electrical stimulation) locomotion. Feedback control is desirable for the efficient FES locomotion, however, the simple on-off control schemes are mainly used in clinic because the currently available angle measurement systems are heavily constraint or cosmetically poor. We designed a new angle measurement system consisting of a magnet and magnetic sensors located below and above the ankle joint, respectively, in the rear side of ipsilateral leg. Two magnetic sensors are arranged so that the sensing axes are perpendicular each other. Multiple positions of sensors attachment on the shank part of the ankle joint model and also human ankle joint were selected and the accuracy of the measured angle at each position was investigated. The reference ankle joint angle was measured by potentiometer and motion capture system. The ankle joint angle was determined from the fitting curve of the reference angle and magnetic flux density relationship. The errors of the measured angle were calculated at each sensor position for the ankle range of motion (ROM) $-20{\sim}15$ degrees (dorsiflexion as positive) which covers the ankle ROM of both stroke patients and normal subjects during locomotion. The error was the smallest with the sensor at the position 1 which was the nearest position to the ankle joint. In case of human experiment, the RMS (root mean square) errors were $0.51{\pm}1.78(0.31{\sim}0.64)$ degrees and the maximum errors were $1.19{\pm}0.46(0.68{\sim}1.58)$ degrees. The proposed system is less constraint and cosmetically better than the existing angle measurement system because the wires are not needed.

Quantifying Climate Regulation of Terrestrial Ecosystems Using a Land-Atmosphere Interaction Model Over East Asia for the Last Half Century

  • Terrestrial ecosystems influence climate change via their climate regulation function, which is manifested within the carbon, water, and energy circulation between the atmosphere and surface. However, it has been challenging to quantify the climate regulation of terrestrial ecosystems and identify its regional distribution, which provides useful information for establishing regional climate-mitigation plans as well as facilitates better understanding of the interactions between the climate and land processes. In this study, a land surface model (LSM) that represents the land-atmosphere interactions and plant phenological variations was introduced to assess the contributions of terrestrial ecosystems to atmospheric warming or cooling effects over East Asia over the last half century. Three main climate-regulating components were simulated: net radiation flux, carbon exchange, and moisture flux at the surface. Then, the contribution of each component to the atmospheric warming or cooling (negative or positive feedback to the atmosphere, respectively) was investigated. The results showed that the terrestrial ecosystem over the Siberian region has shown a relatively large increase in positive feedback due to the enhancement of biogeochemical processes, indicating an offset effect to delay global warming. Meanwhile, the Gobi Desert shows different regional variations: increase in positive feedback in its southern part but increase in negative one in its eastern part, which implies the eastward movements of desert areas. As such, even though the LSM has limitations, this model approach to quantify the climate regulation is useful to extract the relevant characteristics in its spatio-temporal variations.

  • This paper presents a digital motion control system for Reluctance Synchronous Motor (RSM) drives with direct torque control (DTC). The system consists of stator flux observer, torque estimator: two hysteresis band controllers, an optimal switching look-up table, IGBT voltage source inverter(VSI), and TMS320C31 DSP controller by using fully integrated control software. The stator flux observer is based on the combined voltage and current model with stator flux feedback adaptive control of which inputs are current, voltage and actual rotor angle for wide speed range. In order to prove the suggested motion control algorithm, There are some simulation and testing at actual experimental system. The developed digitally high-performance motion control system are shown a good motion control response characteristic results and high performance features using 1.0Kw RSM.

복사열전달이 고체 추진제의 동적소화에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Radiative Heat Flux on Dynamic Extinction in Metalized Solid Propellants)

  • 고체 추진제의 소화를 위한 연소실 압력 강하시 금속입자들에 의한 복사열전달에 동적소화에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. AP:Binder의 화학반응으로 발생하는 전도열 플럭스를 구하기 위해 화염모델을 사용하였으며, 금속입자들에 복사열 플럭스를 구하기 위해 연소흐름 모델을 사용하였다. 연소실은 크기가 무한대인 경우와 노즐에 의해 제한된 형태 두 가지를 선택하여 계산을 수행하였다. 계산에 사용된 추진제 조성을 AP:Al:CTPB=76:10:14이며 최종압력 이후, 총 열 플럭스 중 복사열 플럭스가 차지하는 비중은 5~6%정도로 나타났다. 연소실 크기가 무한대인 경우, 복사열전달을 고려한 경우의 임계 압력강하율이 복하열을 고려하지 않은 경우보다 45% 크게 나타났다. 이는 복사열전달이 동적소화에 큰 영향을 미치는 것을 보여주는 것이다.

  • We demonstrate small-scale high-T$_c$ superconductor RSFQ(Rapid Single Flux Quantum) circuits using multilayer bicrystal technology. An RSFQ balanced comparator is demonstrated with good current resolution, and its operating conditions are discussed in some detail. A single-loop delta-sigma modulator is realized adding a feedback loop to the comparator. The effect of the feedback is confirmed by dc measurement and simulation. A design of an RSFQ toggle flip-flop with the same multilayer bicrystal technology is suggested.
