황해 및 동중국해에서 양쯔강의 담수유입량 변동에 따른 잔차류 및 저염분 확산 수치모의 (Numerical Simulation of Residual Currents and tow Salinity Dispersions by Changjiang Discharge in the Yellow Sea and the East China Sea)

  • 황해 및 동중국해에 있어서 하계 조석, 담수유입량과 풍향 풍속 변화에 따른 잔차류와 샨샤댐 건설 전과 후 양쯔강의 유량 변동에 따른 저염분 확산과 바람의 영향 등을 해석하고, 평가하였다. 3차원 해수유동모델에 의해 각 분조($M_2,\;S_2,\;K_1$$O_1$)의 정량적 그리고 정성적 측면의 진폭, 위상 및 흐름장이 실측값과 비교해서 재현성있게 시뮬레이션 되었다. $M_2,\;M_2+S_2$ 그리고 반일주조에 일주조 성분($K_1$$O_1$)의 합성에 의한 잔차류 결과는 유속의 변화와 더불어서 일부 지역에서 흐름패턴이 다르게 계산되었다. 하계 탁월풍의 세기가 커지면 양쯔강 하구에서 유출하는 힘과 대륙붕단 경계역에서 북상하는 흐름의 유속이 다소 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 양쯔강에서 유출한 흐름은 근역에서는 동향성분이 강하게 나타나지만, 곧 황해에서 남하하는 성분에 의해 동쪽으로 충분히 확산하지 못하고 남하하거나 속도가 감소되는 것으로 나타났다. 육상 유입원의 하계 평균 유량(특히, 양쯔강은 약 $50,000\;m^3/s$)과 남풍 3.5 m/s를 고려했을 경우, 26 psu 이하의 저염수가 유입지점에서 약 95 km정도 확장되고, 30 psu 이하의 염분농도선도 약 160 km까지 확장되는 것으로 나타났고, 최대 홍수량인 $116,000\;m^3/s$를 고려했을 경우는 26 psu 이하의 저염수가 river mouth에서 약 150 km정도 확장되고, 30 psu 이하의 염분농도선도 약 300 km까지 확장되는 것으로 예측되었다. 하계 탁월풍에서 풍속이 약 1.5m/s 정도 강해지면, 저염의 확산 폭이 약 10 km정도 증가하는 것으로 나타났고, 외해에 있어서 저염수는 남서풍에 의해서는 남동방향으로 그리고 북서풍에 의해서는 남서방향으로 퍼져나가는 양상을 보였다. 양쯔강에서 유출되는 평균적인 담수량에 의한 관성력과 조류의 힘만으로는 저염수가 제주도까지 도달하는 것은 힘들겠지만, 바람장과 북상하는 난류의 흐름이 합쳐질 때는 충분히 제주도 인근 해역까지 그 영향을 미칠 수 있을 것으로 예측되었다.

퇴적물 내 입도와 유기물 함량이 영양염류 및 중금속 농도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Mean Grain Size and Organic Matter Contents in Sediments on the Nutrients and Heavy Metals Concentrations)

  • 팔당호 표층퇴적물의 오염 특성을 파악하기 위해 경안천을 중심으로 팔당호 전반에 걸쳐 40개 지점에 대해 입도, 유기물 함량, 총질소, 총인, 중금속의 분포 특성을 분석하였다. 입도(Mz, mean grain size)의 분포 특성은 유입량 및 유속이 강한 북한강과 남한강 합류지점부터 팔당댐 지역에 걸쳐 사질(Mz, $1{\sim}3\;{\phi}$)로 분포하며, 경안천 하부 및 팔당호 하부 지역에서는 세립한 silt(Mz, $5{\sim}10\;{\phi}$)로 구성되어 이 지역의 수리 특성을 반영한다. 입도(Mz)와 유기물 함량(LOI)의 상관관계는 습지 근처인 St. 36을 제외하고, $r^2\;=\;0.88$로 세립토일수록 유기물 함량이 높아지는 경향을 보였다. 퇴적물 내 T-N과 T-P의 농도 역시 입도와 유기물 함량이 높은 지역에서 높은값을 나타내었다. 특히, T-P의 농도 분포는 $216{\sim}1,623\;{\mu}g/g$(Avg. $769\;{\mu}g/g$)의 범위로 팔당호 퇴적물내 인(phosphorus)의 오염이 심각한 것으로 나타났다. Fractionated-P를 통해 환경 변화에 의해 수체로 용출될 가능성이 큰 Adsorbed-P와 NAI-P(Non-apatite inorganic P)가 약 20%로 나타났다. 또한, 20개 항목의 결과를 토대로 통계학적 기법인 주성분 분석(Principle Component Analysis, PCA)을 실시한 결과, 입도가 세립하고, 유기물 함량이 높은 지역에서 T-N, T-P, 친유기성 중금속(Cd, Cu, Pb, Zn)이 높게 분포하는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 중금속 오염 정도는 입도를 고려한 $I'_{geo}$(Geoaccumulation Index)로 분석한 결과 상대적 오염도가 0 이하 및 Class 1에 속하는 것으로 나타나 중금속 오염은 없는 것으로 평가되었다.

강화도 펄 갯벌에서 저서성 원생동물 분포의 시간적 변이와 박테리아 및 미세 조류에 대한 포식압 (Temporal Variation in the Distributions of the Benthic Heterotrophic Protozoa and Their Grazing Impacts on Benthic Bacteria and Microalgae in the Ganghwa Tidal Flat, Korea)

  • 강화도 장화리의 펄 갯벌에 서식하는 저서 원생동물 군집의 계절 분포 및 섭식률을 파악하기 위하여 2002년 4월부터 2004년 4월까지 총 3개의 정점을 선정하여 2-3개월 간격으로 조사를 수행하였다. 저서 원생동물의 현존량과 생물량은 섬모충류와 종속영양 편모류에 의해 98% 이상 우점하여 나타났으며, 그 외 종속영양 와편모류와 아메바 그룹이 일부 시기에 관찰되었으나 중요하지 않은 그룹으로 나타났다. 종속영양 편모류의 현존량과 탄소량은 각각 $0.2-5.9{\times}10^5\;cells\;cm^{-3}$$0.02-9.2\;{\mu}C\;cm^{-3}$로 분포하였으며, 생물량은 춘계와 추계에 비교적 높은 분포를 보였다. 종속영양 편모류는 표충 2.5 mm 이내에서 다른 층에 비해 높은 분포를 보였으며, 종속영양 편모류의 수평적 분포는 정점별로 차이가 없는 것으로 나타났다. 종속영양 편모류는 $10{\mu}m$이하의 크기에 의하여 주로 우점하여 나타났으나, 2월과 4월 사이에 $20{\mu}m$ 이상의 종속영양 유글레나가 높게 출현하였다 섬모충류의 현존량과 생물량은 각각 $0.1-17.8{\times}10^3\;cells\;cm^{-3}$$0.02-9.1\;{\mu}gC\;cm^{-3}$ 범위로 분포하였으며 춘계와 추계에 높은 분포를 보였다. 섬모충류 그룹은 주로 하모류에 의해 우점 하였으며, 계절별로 두드러진 우점 종들은 관찰되지 않았다. 섬모충류의 수직적 분포는 표층 2.5 mm이내에서 높은 분포를 보였으며, 정점별 분포는 조간대 상부 정점에 비해 조간대 하부 정점에서 높은 분포를 보였다. 섬모충류의 시.공간적 분포는 저서 미세조류의 생물량 분포와 유사한 양상을 보였다. 조사기간동안 저서 원생동물 그룹의 탄소량은 섬모충류에 의해 평균 66%의 높은 우점률을 보였으며, 저서 원생동물의 계절변동은 저서 미세조류의 변동과 유사한 양상을 보였다. 본 연구에서 저서 원생동물의 섭식률을 측정한 결과 박테리아 생산력과 저서 미세조류 생산력의 각각 13.4-40.7%와 20.1-36.4%를 제거하였으며, 박테리아에 대한 섭식률은 섬모충류에 비해 종속영양 편모류에 의해 더 높은 것으로 나타났다. 박테리아와 돌말류에 대한 저서 원생동물의 섭식률은 춘계에 가장 높았으며 저서 미세생물 먹이 망에서 저서 원생동물은 미세생물 군집의 생물량이 높은 춘계에 박테리아와 돌말류의 포식자로서 중요한 역할을 하고 있음을 시사하였다.

두 개의 수치 평면에 대한 공간적 차이의 측정 방법 (A Method of Evaluating the Spatial Difference between Two Numerical Surfaces)

  • 도시분석에서 평면 데이터는 지리학적 혹은 사회적 현상의 연속적인 분포를 표현하는데 사용된다. 예를들면, 어떤 지역의 온도분포, 인구밀도 등의 다양한 인문활동 및 자연현상이 평면 데이터로 표현될 수 있다. 앞서 언급된 현상들이 평면 데이터 형식으로 주어졌을 때, 두 평면간의 비교를 통해 평면간의 상호관계 혹은 평면간의 차이를 이해할 수 있게된다. 평면간의 비교 방법에 의한 기존 연구들로는 시각화기법, 정량적 방법 및 정성적 방법이 존재한다. 하지만, 이들 방법은 평면간의 차이를 국한된 측면에서 구분한다는 제한점이 있다. 특히, 평면간의 공간적 특성에 의한 차이점은 명확하게 구분하지 못한다. 이와같은 문제점을 해결하기위해, 본 연구에서는 평면의 공간적 특성에 입각한 차이점을 구분해내는 비교방법을 제안하고자 한다. 평면 비교 방법론의 기본 개념은 토목공학에서 주로 사용되는 토량계산 문제에 근거하고 있으며, 본 연구에서는 이를 변형하여, 최소 평면 변환으로 부르기로 한다. 최소평면 변환의 목적은 서로 다른 두 평면이 있을 때, 한 평면을 다른 평면으로 변환시키고, 그 과정에서 발생하는 평면값의 총 이동량을 최소화함에 있다. 평면의 변환과정에서 발생하는 평면값의 이동의 총합 및 레스터 형식으로 표현된 평면의 각 셀에서 발생한 이동 평면값을 통해, 평면간의 정량적 및 공간적 차이를 구분할 수가 있다. 제안된 방법은 가상 데이터 및 실제데이터에 적용되었다. 가상 데이터를 적용한 결과, 제안된 방법으로 두 평면 데이터 간의 정량적 차이 및 공간적 차이가 구분됨을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, 실제 데이터를 적용한 결과에서 볼 때, 평면 변환과정에서 얻어진 평면값의 총 이동량이 시간대별로 점차 작아짐을 알 수가 있었다. 이는 실제 분석대상 지역의 인구밀도 변화율이 점차 줄어드는 사실을 반영하는 결과로, 제안된 방법을 통해 얻어진 결과가 실제 상황을 제대로 기술하고 있음이 파악되었다. 또한, 제안된 방법론에서 제시된 평면 데이터간의 공간적 차이를 구분하기 위한 기준인 평면변환 과정에서 발생한 평면값의 이동 분포를 통하여, 단순히 두 평면값을 각 셀 단위에서 뺄셈을 한 경우의 분포보다 두 평면 데이터간의 평면값 이동의 흐름이 보다 자세히 기술되어, 인구이동의 흐름이 대상지역에서 어느 방향으로 발생되었는지를 알 수 있다.

난방 온실의 지중열 교환 특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on the Characteristics of Ground Heat Exchange in Heating Greenhouses)

  • 온실의 난방부하 중 지중전열부하는 산정방법이나 적용여부가 제각각이고, 온실의 규모에 따라 각각의 방법에는 큰 차이가 있으므로 보다 정확히 국내에 적용할 수 있는 방법을 정립할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 원예시설의 난방부하 산정방법 정립에 필요한 기초자료를 제공하기 위하여 위치와 규모가 다른 3개의 연동 플라스틱 온실에서 난방기간 동안 지온분포와 토양열류를 실측하였으며, 온실의 지중전열부하 산정방법을 검토하고 난방설계에 필요한 기준자료를 도출하였다. 난방중인 온실의 지온분포를 실측하여 실내기온과 비교한 결과 온실의 중앙 부분에서는 지온이 실내기온 보다 높고, 온실의 끝부분과 모서리 부분에서는 지온이 실내기온 보다 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 그러므로 온실의 중앙 부분에서는 지중열이 공급되고, 온실의 측면 부분에서는 외주부를 통해서 열손실이 발생하며, 온실의 규모에 따라 차이가 있는 것으로 판단된다. 건물의 외주부를 통한 열손실 개념을 도입하고, 온실의 규모를 반영하여 수정한 온실의 지중전열부하 산정방법은 타당성이 있는 것으로 평가된다. 토양열류센서를 이용하여 실측한 지중전열량은 실내외 기온차에 비례하여 직선적으로 증가하는 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 지중전열량 분석 결과로부터 지중전열의 방향이 바뀌는 기준온도차를 도출하였으며, 국내 온실의 난방설계에서 대규모 온실은 $10^{\circ}C$ 내외, 소규모 온실은 $12.5{\sim}15^{\circ}C$를 적용할 것을 제안하였다. 또한 지중열류 실측 결과로부터 온실의 외주부 단위길이당 열손실계수를 도출하였으며, 대규모 온실은 $7.5{\sim}10W{\cdot}m^{-1}{\cdot}K^{-1}$, 소규모 온실은 $2.5{\sim}5.0W{\cdot}m^{-1}{\cdot}K^{-1}$를 설계기준 자료로 제안하였다.

새로운 날개단면을 이용한 KD-프로펠러 씨리즈 개발 (Development of KD- Propeller Series using a New Blade Section)

  • 캐비테이션 특성이 우수하고 넓은 받음각에서 양력-향력비가 큰 새로운 날개단면(KH18 단면)을 사용하여 체계적인 방법으로 기하학적 형상을 변화시켜 설계된 새로운 계열 프로펠러의 개발을 시도하였다. 새로운 계열 프로펠러의 형상을 설계함에 있어 기존의 계열 프로펠러와는 달리 선택된 반류분포의 회전방향 평균 반류분포를 입력자료로 하여 반경방향 부하분포와 코오드 방향 부하분포를 동일하게 유지하면서 피치 및 캠버의 형상을 결정하였다. 또한 코오드 길이, 두께, 스큐 및 레이크 분포와 같은 형상은 최근 실적선 프로펠러의 형상 특성을 정형화하여 선택되었기 때문에 초기설계시 설계된 형상이 최종 설계 프로펠러의 형상과 크게 다르지 않을 것으로 생각되어 초기성능을 보다 정확하게 추정할 수 있게 하였다. 설계된 계열 프로펠러는 날개수 4개인 프로펠러를 대상으로 날개 전개면적비 4개($A_{E}/A_{O}$=0.3, 0.45, 0.6, 0.75)에 대하여 각 전개면적비에서 평균피치비를 5개(P/D=0.5, 0.65, 0.8, 0.95, 1.1)로 변화시켜 총 20개의 프로펠러로 구성되었으며 KD-프로펠러 씨리즈(KRISO-DAEWOO Propeller Series)라 명명하였다. 설계된 계열 프로펠러들에 대하여 단독특성시험, 캐비테이션 관찰시험, 변동압력 계측시험을 수행하였다. 프로펠러 단독특성 시험결과의 회귀해석결과로 부터 $B_{P}-\delta$ 곡선을 도출하여 초기설계 단계에서 최적 프로펠러 직경등을 쉽게 결정할 수 있게 하였다. 기준으로 선택된 반류분포(2700TEU 콘테이너선의 반류) 후류에서 프로펠러 추력계수 및 캐비테이션 수를 체계적으로 변화시킨 상태에서 캐비테이션 관찰시험 및 변동압력계측시험을 수행하였다. 양력면이론에 의한 비정상 프로펠러 성능해석에 의해 계산된 최대 국부양력계수 ($C^{max}_{l,0.8R}$)와 국부캐비테이션 수(${\sigma}_0=\frac{p-p_v}{\frac{1}{2}{\rho}V^2_{0.8R}}$)를 기준으로 캐비테이션 관찰시험 결과를 정리하여 KD-캐비테이션 챠트를 도출하였다. 기존의 캐비테이션 챠트는 균일류중의 시험 결과를 정리하여 작성되었으나 KD-캐비테이션 챠트는 반류분포중에서 시험된 프로펠러 관찰시험 결과로 부터 도출되었으므로 초기설계 단계에서 보다 정확한 캐비테이션 발생량 추정이 가능하리라 예상된다.

  • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70$\pm$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32$\pm$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CF 15-11 HFDs which failed APD test did not show changes in the UFR compared to normal dialyzers indicating that APD is a more sensitive test than UFR test to evaluate the integrity of the fibers. 30527 T00401030527 ^x For quantitative measurement of reflected light from a clinical diagnostic strip, a prototype old reflectance photometer was designed. The strip loader and cassette were made to obtain more accurate reflectance parameters. The strip was illuminated at 45˚c through optical fiber and the intensity of reflected light was determined at rectanguLat angle using a photodiode. The kubelka-munk coefficient and reflection optical density were determined ar four different wavelengths(500, 550, 570 and 610nm) for blood glucose strip. For higher concentration than 300mg/41 about glucose, a saturation state of abforbance was observed at 500, 550 and 570nm. The correlation between glucose concentration and parameters was the best at 610nm. 30535 T00401030535 ^x Radiation-induced fibrosarcoma tumors were grown on the flanks of C3H mice. The mice were divided into two groups. One group was injected with Photofrin II, intravenously (2.5mg/kg body weight). The other group received no Photofrin II. Mice from both groups were irradialed for approximately 15 minutes at 100, 300, or 500 mW/cm2 with the argon (488nm/514.5 nm), dye(628nm) and gold vapor (pulsed 628 nm) laser light. A photosensitizer behaved as an added absorber. Under our experimental conditions, the presence of Photolfrin II increased surface temperature by at least 40% and the temperature rise due to 300 mW/cm2 irradiation exceeded values for hyperthermia. Light and temperature distributions with depth were estimated by a computer model. The model demonstrated the influence of wavelength on the thermal process and proved to be a valuable tool to investigate internal temperature rise. 30536 T00401030536 ^x We investigated the structural geometry of thirty-eight Korean femurs. The purpose of this study is to identify major geometrical differences between Korean femurs 3nd others that we believe belong to Caucasians so that we would be able to get insights into the femoral component design that fits Asians including Koreans. We utilized computerized tomography (CT) images of femurs extracted from cadavers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm. The results suggested that the femoral component suitable for Asians should be different from the currently-used components designed and manufactured mostly by European or American companies. 30537 T00401030537 ^x It is well known that nonlinear propagation characteristics of the wave in the tissue may give very useful information for the medical diagnoisis. In this paper, a new method to detect nonlinear propagation characteristics of the internal vibration in the tissue for the low frequency mechanical vibration by using bispectral analysis is proposed. In the method, low frequency vibration of f0( = 100Hz) is applied on the surface of the object, and the waveform of the internal vibration x (t) is measured from Doppler frequency modulation of silmultaneously transmitted probing ultrasonic waves. Then, the bispectra of the signal x (t) at the frequencies (f0, f0) and (f0, 2f0) are calculated to estimate the nonlinear propagation characteristics as their magnitude ratio, w here since bispectrum is free from the gaussian additive noise we can get the value with high S/N. Basic experimental system is constructed by using 3.0 MHz probing ultrasonic waves and the several experiments are carried out for some phantoms.   • The wall shear stress in the vicinity of end-to end anastomoses under steady flow conditions was measured using a flush-mounted hot-film anemometer(FMHFA) probe. The experimental measurements were in good agreement with numerical results except in flow with low Reynolds numbers. The wall shear stress increased proximal to the anastomosis in flow from the Penrose tubing (simulating an artery) to the PTFE: graft. In flow from the PTFE graft to the Penrose tubing, low wall shear stress was observed distal to the anastomosis. Abnormal distributions of wall shear stress in the vicinity of the anastomosis, resulting from the compliance mismatch between the graft and the host artery, might be an important factor of ANFH formation and the graft failure. The present study suggests a correlation between regions of the low wall shear stress and the development of anastomotic neointimal fibrous hyperplasia(ANPH) in end-to-end anastomoses. 30523 T00401030523 ^x Air pressure decay(APD) rate and ultrafiltration rate(UFR) tests were performed on new and saline rinsed dialyzers as well as those roused in patients several times. C-DAK 4000 (Cordis Dow) and CF IS-11 (Baxter Travenol) reused dialyzers obtained from the dialysis clinic were used in the present study. The new dialyzers exhibited a relatively flat APD, whereas saline rinsed and reused dialyzers showed considerable amount of decay. C-DAH dialyzers had a larger APD(11.70${\pm}$1.32mmHg/min)compared to CF dialyzers(4.32${\pm}$0.55mmHg/min)(p<0.05). However, there was no observable difference in the UFR between the two dialyzers. Neither APD nor UFR showed any significant increase with an increasing number of reuses for up to more than 20reuses. A substantial number of failures observed in APD(larger than 20mmHe/min)on the reused dialyzers(2 out of 40 CP and S out 26 C-DAK) were attributed to the Possible damage on the fibers. The CT images were transformed into bitmap data by using a film scanner, and then analyzed by using a commercially available software called Image v.1.0 and a Macintosh IIci computer.The resulting data were compared with already published data. The major results show that the geometry of the Korean femurs is significantly different from that of Caucasians: (1) the anteversion angle and the canal flare index are greater by the amount of approximately 8˚ and 0.5, respectively, (2) the shape of the isthmus cross section is more round, and (3) the distance between the teaser trochanter and the proximal border of the isthmus is shelter by about 15 mm.
