강우정보 및 침수이력을 고려한 침수 위험정보 표출 시스템 설계 (A design of the expression system of flood risk information considering the rainfall information and flooded history)

  • 최근 지구 온난화 등의 이유로 국지성 집중 호우가 빈번히 발생함에 따라 도로의 침수로 인한 피해가 증가하고 있지만, 그에 따른 예방책은 미비한 실정이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 도로 침수로 인해 발생할 수 있는 차량 침수나 교통 체증 등의 피해를 방지하도록 운전자에게 사전에 알려줄 수 있는 침수 위험정보 표출 시스템을 설계하고자 한다. 본 시스템은 C# 기반으로 ArcObject API를 활용하여 사용자가 도로별 침수 위험 정도를 쉽게 파악할 수 있도록 GUI 환경으로 구성되어 있다. 제안된 방법을 활용하면 사용자들이 현재 자신이 있는 지역이 침수에 대해 얼마나 위험한지를 침수위험정보를 통해 알 수 있다.

  • One of the purpose of the reservoir operation is minimizing theinnudation area in the downstream reaches during flood period.l To execute the gate operation properly , it requires lots of real-time data such as rainfall, reservoir level, and water level in the downstrea. Gate operation model was developed with the flood discharge obtained from real-time flood forecasting model and the criterion prepared from the past history of gate operation. Water level in the downstream would be increased by the releasing discharge from the spillway and the area of paddy land flooded in a certain detph and time would be estimated usnig GIS map. Gate operation model was applied to the Yedang reservoir, and the flooded area, depth and time in the paddy land was estimaged.

지적정보 기반의 강우빈도별 침수지역 분석 (Analysis of Flooded Areas for Cadastral Information-Based Rainfall Frequencies)

  • 태풍 및 국지성 폭우로 인한 침수 및 범람지역의 발생이 증가하고 있어 재해 이력에 대한 체계적 구축과 침수 예측에 대한 정략적 분석을 통한 재해 예방이 필요하다. 본 연구는 피해지역의 수치영상을 기반으로 피해조사 범위 산정의 기반 자료와 속성정보를 제공하기 위하여 지리정보체계 매핑 기술을 사용하여 수치영상과 피해지역 연속지적도의 속성정보 융합을 통해 현장 실사용 재해정보지도를 구축하였다. 또한, 재해정보의 고도화를 위해 홍수범람 시뮬레이션을 통해 대상 지역의 빈도별 홍수량을 산정하여 돌발홍수 예측지역을 표시하였으며 지적 정보를 활용하여 빈도별 침수면적 및 침수피해율을 산출하였다. 따라서, 집중호우에 따른 홍수 시나리오 분석을 통해 사전에 자연재해 예방 및 대책을 위한 의사결정을 지원함으로써 자연재해관리 업무 효율성 및 대응능력 강화에 기여할 수 있는 방안을 제시하였다.

Analysis for the Coolability of the Reactor Cavity in a Korean 1000 MWe PWR Using MELCOR 1.8.3 Computer Code

  • The analysis for the coolability of the reactor cavity in typical Korean 1000 MWe Nuclear Unit under severe accidents is performed using MELCOR 1.8.3 code. The key parameters molten core-concrete interaction(MCCI) such as melt temperature, concrete ablation history and gas generation are investigated. Total twenty cases are selected according to ejected debris fraction and coolant mass, The ablation rate of concrete decreases as mass of the melt decreases and coolant mass increases. Heat loss from molten pool to coolant is comparable to total decay heat, so concrete ablation is delayed until water is absent and crust begins to remove. Also, overpressurization due to non-condensible gases generated during corium and concrete interacts can cause to additional risk of containment failure. It is concluded that flooded reactor cavity condition is very important to minimize the cavity ablation and pressure load by non-condensible gases on containment.

국내 주택에서 물 피해 유형에 따른 부유곰팡이 농도 수준 평가 및 동정 분석 (Assessment of the level and identification of airborne molds by the type of water damage in housing in Korea)

  • Mold grows more easily when humidity is higher in indoor spaces, and as such is found more often on wetted areas in housing such as walls, toilets, kitchens, and poorly managed spaces. However, there have been few studies that have specifically assessed the level of mold in the indoor spaces of water-damaged housing in the Republic of Korea. We investigated the levels of airborne mold according to the characteristics of water damage types and explored the correlation between the distribution of mold genera and the characteristics of households. Samplings were performed from January 2016 to June 2018 in 97 housing units with water leakage or condensation, or a history of flooding, and in 61 general housing units in the metropolitan and Busan area, respectively. Airborne mold was collected on MEA (Malt extract agar) at flow rate of 100 L/min for 1 min. After collection, the samples were incubated at $25^{\circ}C$ for 120 hours. The cultured samples were counted and corrected using a positive hole conversion table. The samples were then analyzed by single colony culture, DNA extraction, gene amplification, and sequencing. By type of housing, concentrations of airborne mold were highest in flooded housing, followed by water-leaked or highly condensed housings, and then general housing. In more than 50% of water-damaged housing, the level of airborne mold exceeded the guideline of Korea's Ministry of Environment ($500CFU/m^3$). Of particular concern was the fact that the I/O ratio of water-damaged housing was greater than 1, which could indicate that mold damage may occur indoors. The distribution patterns of the fungal species were as follows: Penicillium spp., Cladosporium spp. (14%), Aspergillus spp. (13%) and Alternaria spp. (3%), but significant differences of their levels in indoor spaces were not found. Our findings indicate that high levels of mold damage were found in housing with water damage, and Aspergillus flavus and Penicillium brevicompactum were more dominant in housing with high water activity. Comprehensive management of flooded or water-damaged housing is necessary to reduce fungal exposure.

명청-근대시기 마카오 "수상인(水上人)"의 취락 및 건축유형 연구 (A Study on the Water-Faring Community and Architectural Forms of the 'Tanka People' in Macau from the Ming and Qing Dynasties to the Modern Period)

  • The compositions of ethnic groups in Macau vary with time. Prior to the opening of the port, the majority of the residents in Macau were Chinese people, including those living on land and at sea. After the port was opened, with the increase of Portugal businessmen and missionaries, the population was divided into Chinese people and foreigners (so-called 'Yiren' or 夷人 in Chinese). Chinese people living on land were mainly of Hakka, Fujian, and Cantonese descent. Those living at sea were referred to as 'Tanka People' (named 'Danmin' or 蜑民in Chinese). They lived on floating boats for their entire lives and were similar to the 'drifters' in Japan. Since modern times, many refugees from mainland China and Southeast Asia flooded into Macau due to warfare. The development of industrialization required a larger number of laborers, and some 'coolies' entered Macau in legal or illegal ways, making it a multi-ethnic city. However, the Tanka people were not considered a minority ethnic group under the national ethnic policy of 56 ethnic groups since they did not have an exclusive language and shared dialects in different regions. As the ports inhabited by Tanka people gradually restored foreign trade, the boats and stilt houses used by Tanka people were dismantled to expand the infrastructure area of the ports. Many Tanka people began to live on land and marry people on land, leading to the disappearance of the Tanka group in Macau. The fishing boats and stilt houses used by Tanka people have also disappeared, with only a few remaining in areas such as Pearl River Delta and Hong Kong. This paper examines the natural and social environment of Tanka people in Macau from the Ming and Qing dynasties to the Republic of China, as well as the adaptive changes they adopted for the aforementioned environment in terms of living space and architectural type, on the basis of summarizing the historical activities of Tanka people. Finally, this study provides a layout plan and interior structure of the most commonly used boat for Tanka people from the Ming and Qing dynasties to the Republic of China, with the use of CAD and other technical software, along with reference to written historical documentation, and provides a case study for further research on the architectural history of Macau's inner harbor cities, from anthropological and folklore perspectives.

상관계수가중치법을 적용한 실시간 강우량 추정에 따른 도로 침수위험지수 개발 방법에 대한 연구 (Study on the Method of Development of Road Flood Risk Index by Estimation of Real-time Rainfall Using the Coefficient of Correlation Weighting Method)

  • Recently, flood damage by frequent localized downpours in cities are on the increase on account of abnormal climate phenomena and growth of impermeable area by urbanization. In this study, we are focused on flooding on roads which is the basis of all means of transportation. To calculate real-time accumulated rainfall on a road link, we use the Coefficient of Correlation Weighting method (CCW) which is one of the revised methods of missing rainfall as we consider a road link as a unobserved rainfall site. CCW and real-time accumulated rainfall entered through the Internet are used to estimate the real-time rainfall on a road link. Together with the real-time accumulated rainfall, flooding history, rainfall range causing flooding of a road link and frequency probability precipitation for road design are used as factors to determine the Flood Risk Index on roads. We simulated two cases in the past, July, 7th, 2009 and July, 15th, 2012 in Busan. As a result, all of road links included in the actual flooded roads at that time got the high level of flood risk index.

  • 최근 도시화 및 인구의 밀집화는 전 세계적인 기후변화의 영향과 더불어 재난의 대형화 및 복합화를 유발하고 있다. 그러나 국내의 경우, 재난발생에 대하여 예방, 구조, 복구에 중점을 두고 있으며, 재난 시 생명유지에 절대적으로 필요한 재난의료는 외면되고 있는 실정이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 침수피해가 빈번하며, 지하주택이 밀집되어 피해가능성이 크다고 판단되는 서울시를 대상으로, 침수이력지역의 지하주택을 응급환자 발생지로 가정하고 이송거리 및 이송시간을 분석하였다. 본 연구는 응급의료시설과 재난발생지로의 접근성과, 구급대로부터 재난발생지로의 접근성을 함께 고려하여 응급의료서비스 개선의 기초자료로써 의의가 있다고 판단된다.

5·18민주화운동을 소재로 하는 경향신문과 중앙일보의 만평 분석 (Analysis of the Manpyeong of the KyungHyang Shinmun and JoongAng Ilbo based on the May 18 Democratic Uprising)

  • 전체 또는 일부분에 사실이 아닌 거짓을 섞어 만든 가짜뉴스가 범람하고 있다. 정치·사회적인 목적의 프레임을 만들기 위해 주로 사실에 가짜를 결합하여 뉴스를 만들거나, 선동의 목적으로 왜곡과 혐오를 조장하기 위해 뉴스를 만든다. 특히 공중파 방송을 포함한 몇몇 언론이 특정한 방향의 정치적 편향성을 주저 없이 표출하고 있다. 언론이 정치적 편향성을 가지더라도 사실 전달을 기본으로 한다면, 보수와 진보의 상호견제 속에 신뢰받는 언론 환경이 이루어질 수 있을 것이다. 5·18민주화운동은 보수와 진보를 떠나서 현대사의 아픈 역사이자 사실이다. 그런데도 5·18민주화운동을 민주화운동과 폭동으로 보는 상반된 관점들이 있다. 본 연구는 보수 성향의 중앙일보 만평과 진보 성향의 경향신문 만평이 5·18민주화운동을 어떻게 다루고 있는지 분석했다. 중앙일보와 경향신문의 만평은 5·18민주화운동을 보는 관점에서 큰 차이가 있다. 진보 성향의 경향신문 만평은 사건의 본질을 드러내고 대상을 풍자하였다는 점에서 큰 의미를 가진다. 반면, 보수 성향의 중앙일보 만평은 모호성으로 인해 사건의 본질이나 풍자 대상에 대해 다가가지 못하고 있다. 5·18민주화운동을 소재로 하는 경향신문과 중앙일보 만평의 차이를 통해 보수와 진보 언론의 가치를 생각해보는 계기가 되길 바란다.
