유한요소 모델을 이용한 압축기의 진동특성에 관한 연구 (A Study of vibration Characteristics of Compressors with FEM model)

  • Today, as the demands for home appliances are increasing, the understanding of noise and vibration characteristics have become more important. It is hard to control its vibration and noise characteristics, because its mechanical structure is very complex. In this study a model of reciprocating compressor is developed. Spring, frame, and LDT are modeled as flexible body, and the other parts are modeled as rigid. FEM model of frame is simplified in order to save the simulation time. We validated the simple model by comparing their natural frequencies and mode shapes. Motor torque is applied to a rotor, and the piston is subjected to a gas pressure. The vibrational characteristics of compressor is analyzed with LS-DYNA. Its results are compared with the simulation results of rigid body frame. The effect of LDT is also studied by comparing the vibration of frame with the results of simulation with no LDT.

저전압 SR모터의 퍼지로직 기반 전상각 제어 (Fuzzy logic based advance angle control for low voltage SRM)

  • In this paper, a fuzzy advance angle control method is described to drive an industrial low voltage SRM (Switched Reluctance Motor) for 10kW forklift truck. SRM has a highly non-linear characteristic that is due to change the rotor and stator. And low voltage SRM is designed that its phase resistance and phase inductance is very low to inject high current into the phase windings. In this reason, the proper current control is necessary to drive the low voltage SRM efficiently. SRM has positive torque at increasing inductance region and negative torque at decreasing inductance region. Due to this reason, the current has to be built up in the increasing phase inductance part as soon as possible. Therefore, the phase switch must be turned on before the phase inductance increases, and this angle is called as the advance angle. Also, the phase current has to be dropped before the phase inductance decreases. Fuzzy logic is a flexible and general-purposed method of implementing non-linear functions and as such it is useful in control applications. Consequently, we designed a fuzzy advance angle controller to control the phase current appropriately.

능동 진동 제어 시스템을 이용한 UH-60A 헬리콥터 기체의 진동 감소 시뮬레이션 (Vibration Reduction Simulation of UH-60A Helicopter Airframe Using Active Vibration Control System)

  • 대표적인 기동 헬리콥터인 UH-60A의 기체 진동응답을 감소시키고자 능동 진동 제어 시스템(Active Vibration Control System, AVCS)을 이용한 시뮬레이션 연구를 수행하였다. 로터 진동 하중, 기체 구조 동역학 모델링, 진동응답 해석 및 진동 제어 시뮬레이션 연구를 수행하기 위하여 DYMORE II, NDARC, MSC.NASTRAN 및 MATLAB Simulink 등의 다양한 해석, 설계 및 제어 프로그램들을 함께 사용하였다. 5개의 CRFG와 7개의 가속도계로 이루어진 Multi Input Multi Output(MIMO) 모델을 AVCS 시뮬레이션 연구에 이용하였다. 본 시뮬레이션 연구를 통하여 진동이 극심한 158knots의 비행속도에서 UH-60A의 주요 위치(조종석, 로터와 기체의 접합부, 중앙 승객실 및 후방 승객실) 위치에서 AVCS의 사용으로 인하여 4/rev 기체 진동응답이 25.14~96.05%만큼 감소될 수 있었다.

스위치드 릴럭턴스 발전기의 스위칭에 따른 특성 (Characteristics Analysis According to Switching of Switched Reluctance Generator)

  • A switched reluctance generator(SRG) has simple magnetic structure, and needs simple power electronic driving circuit. But, a SRG are no windings or permanent magnets on the rotor, and there are concentrated windings placed around each salient pole on the stator. Because of the characteristics of time-sharing excitation, the control of SRG is very flexible. And there are several parameters for controlling SRG, such as switch turn-on angle, switch turn-off angle, and exciting voltage and controlling mode, all these will affect the generation greatly. A SRG has positive torque at increasing inductance region and negative torque at decreasing inductance region. In this paper, we studied characteristics about the switch turn-on and off angles according to switch method for constant output voltage of the fixed speed SRG. It is the acoustic noise and torque ripple characteristics. Characteristics for a switch angle and method are presented by experiment using a 50W SRG with 12/8 poles.

Design and Implementation of an FPGA-based Real-time Simulator for a Dual Three-Phase Induction Motor Drive

  • This paper presents a digital hardware implementation of a real-time simulator for a multiphase drive using a field-programmable gate array (FPGA) device. The simulator was developed with a modular and hierarchical design using very high-speed integrated circuit hardware description language (VHDL). Hence, this simulator is flexible and portable. A state-space representation model suitable for FPGA implementations was proposed for a dual three-phase induction machine (DTPIM). The simulator also models a two-level 12-pulse insulated-gate bipolar transistor (IGBT)-based voltage-source converter (VSC), a pulse-width modulation scheme, and a measurement system. Real-time simulation outputs (stator currents and rotor speed) were validated under steady-state and transient conditions using as reference an experimental test bench based on a DTPIM with 15 kW-rated power. The accuracy of the proposed digital hardware implementation was evaluated according to the simulation and experimental results. Finally, statistical performance parameters were provided to analyze the efficiency of the proposed DTPIM hardware implementation method.

동수압 베어링으로 지지되는 연성축의 자기 베어링을 이용한 진동제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Vibration Control Using Magnetic Bearings of the Flexible Shaft Supported by Hydrodynamic Bearings)

  • The hydrodynamic bearing is accepted in many rotating systems because it has a large load carrying capacity. But the anisotropic pressure distribution of the bearing can arise the unstable vibration phenomenon over a certain speed. The magnetic bearing is an active element so that the unstable phenomenon of the hydrodynamic bearing, which is induced by the anisotropic support pressure of the oil film, can be controlled if the control algorithm and the controller gains are chosen appropriately. In this study, we investigate the stabilization method of the hydrodynamic bearing system composing the hybrid bearing which is the single unit of hydrodynamic bearing and magnetic bearing. The load carrying conditions of the hybrid bearing is modelled by the sum of the stiffness and damping coefficients of the hydrodynamic and the magnetic bearings in each direction. The dynamics of the rotor is analyzed by the Finite Element Method and the stability limit is determined by the eigenvalues of the hybrid bearings and shaft system. The eigenvalue study of the system shows that the stability limit of the hybrid bearing is increased compared to that of the hydrodynamic bearing. A Small increment of the stiffness and damping coefficient of the hybrid bearings by the magnetic actuators can increase the stability limit of the system. In this paper we tried to show the design references of the hybrid bearings by using the nondimensional bearing parameters. The analysis results show the possibilities of the stability limit increment of the hydrodynamic bearing system by combining the magnetic bearing.

  • A new control design methodology is presented here which is based on a nonlinear time-series reference model. It is indicated by highly nonlinear simulations that such designs successfully stabilize troublesome aircraft maneuvers undergoing large changes in angle of attack as well as large electric power transients due to line faults. In both applications, the nonlinear controller was significantly better than the corresponding linear adaptive controller. For the electric power network, a flexible a.c. transmission system (FACTS) with series capacitor power feedback control is studied. A bilinear auto-regressive moving average (BARMA) reference model is identified from system data and the feedback control manipulated according to a desired reference state. The control is optimized according to a predictive one-step quadratic performance index (J). A similar algorithm is derived for control of rapid changes in aircraft angle of attack over a normally unstable flight regime. In the latter case, however, a generalization of a bilinear time-series model reference includes quadratic and cubic terms in angle of attack. These applications are typical of the numerous plants for which nonlinear adaptive control has the potential to provide significant performance improvements. For aircraft control, significant maneuverability gains can provide safer transportation under large windshear disturbances as well as tactical advantages. For FACTS, there is the potential for significant increase in admissible electric power transmission over available transmission lines along with energy conservation. Electric power systems are inherently nonlinear for significant transient variations from synchronism such as may result for large fault disturbances. In such cases, traditional linear controllers may not stabilize the swing (in rotor angle) without inefficient energy wasting strategies to shed loads, etc. Fortunately, the advent of power electronics (e.g., high-speed thyristors) admits the possibility of adaptive control by means of FACTS. Line admittance manipulation seems to be an effective means to achieve stabilization and high efficiency for such FACTS. This results in parametric (or multiplicative) control of a highly nonlinear plant.

Non-LOCA 인허가 해석용 TASS 코드의 개발 (Development of TASS Code for Non-LOCA Safety Analysis Licensing Application)

  • 현재 사용중인 Non-LOCA 해석용 인허가 코드들은 특정한 형태의 가압경수로에 맞게 짜여진 것들이어서 모든 형태의 가압 경수로에 적용할 수 있는 범용 코드의 개발이 필요한 실정이다. 이를 위하여 한국원자력연구소에서는 웨스팅하우스 및 CE형 발전소에 공히 적용할 수 있는 과도현상 해석 코드인 TASS 로드를 개발하고있다. 이 TASS 코드는 실시 간 보다 빠르게 핵증기계통에 대한 모의 계산을 수행하며 대화식의 입출력을 통하여 사용자가 원하는 과도현상을 정확히 모사할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 웨스팅하우스형 발전소에 대하여 TASS 코드를 적용하여 Non-LOCA 인허가 해석을 하기 위한 검증을 위해, 교류 전원 상실사고와 부하상실사고에 대하여 발전소 실측자료와의 비교계산을 수행하였고 주급수관 파단사고, 펌프축 고착사고, 증기발생기 세관 파열사고 및 주증기관 파단사고들에 대하여 대형코드인 RELAP5 /MOD3 코드와의 비교계산을 수행하였다.

연동펌프를 이용한 비료염 공급 관비재배기술 연구 (Fertigation Techniques Using Fertilizers with Peristaltic Hose Pump for Hydroponics)

  • 본 연구에서는 산업분야에서 다양하게 이용되고 있는 연동펌프를 농축양액 주입장치로 사용한 관비장치를 개발하고 성능시험을 실시하였으며, 얻어진 결과는 다음과 같다. 튜브 내경별, 회전수별, 롤러수별 유량특성 시험결과 펌프 회전속도가 빨라짐에 따라 유량은 직선적으로 증가하였으며, 튜브 내경이 커질수록 기울기도 커졌으며, 롤러수가 3개일 때가 4개일 때의 유량 보다 더 많은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 튜브재질에 있어서는 복원력이 우수한 재질의 노프렌 튜브에서 유량이 많은 것으로 나타났다. 관비장치의 농축양액 주입위치에 따른 혼삽성능 실험결과 안정화 시간은 농축양액을 공급펌프의 흡입 측에 주입한 경우에는 17초, 공급펌프의 토출 측에 주입한 경우에는 16초 이었으며, EC는 안정화 구간에서 각각 1.42±0.05, 1.39±0.02 dS/m로 나타나 주입위치에 따른 영향은 크지 않은 것으로 판단된다. 측정 센서 설치위치에 따른 안정화시간은 주관에 삽입 설치한 경우에는 17초, 여수관에 설치한 경우에는 27초로 나타나 센서는 주관에 삽입 설치하는 것이 바람직한 것으로 판단된다. EC는 안정화 구간에서 각각 1.43±0.05, 1.45±0.07dS/m의 근소한 차이를 보였다. 시작기의 제어성능 실험결과 제어정밀도가 ±0.05dS/m로 나타나 제어성능이 우수한 것으로 나타났다. 농가 현장시험결과 개발한 관비장치에 의해 재배한 오이가 정상적인 생육을 하는 것으로 나타나 개발한 시험용 장치의 실용화가 이루어진다면 관비재배 농가에서 활용할 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
