A study on the vest shape and tailoring of the Korean Empire in the 1900s (대한제국기 남자 조끼 형태 및 제작법에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to fundamentally examine the vests of the robes "Daeraebok" and "Soraebok" of the Korean Empire from the 1876 Port Opening to the 1910 annexation of Korea to Japan. Among the collections of different robes of the Korean Empire which belong to various universities and institutions, only the vests were surveyed. The shape of the vests in the Korean Empire were single-breasted and double-breasted. Most V-necklines and vests with a shawl collar look like a tailored collar, where the collar outline was shaped like a notched and picked collar, which is a mix of the step collar and roll collar of the 19th century. The rear center line was not flat, but inclined to a triangle. All vests of the robe Daeraebok were equipped with gold buttons, and those of the robe Soraebok had black satin buttons. The tailoring characteristic is that the front has a different material (dark black wool) from the back (black silk). This characteristic is expected to be an important basic piece of information in the restoration and reproduction of the vest, which was worn during the imperial period, especially to reveal its shape, characteristics and composition. This characteristic can also be used as data of cultural contents based on Korean modern history.

  • The speed variation of SRM is fulfilled throughout a transition from chopping control to single pulse operation. (i,e., low speed to high speed operation). It is unsatisfied with performance at all operational regimes. In this paper, the operational performance of SRM can be improved by using current hysteresis control method. This method maintains a generally flat current waveform. At the high speed, the current chopping capability is lost due to the development of the back-EMF. Therefore SRM operates in single pulse mode. By using zero-current switching and zero-voltage switching technique, the stress of power switches can be reduce in chopping mode. When the commutation from one phase winding to another phase winding, the current can be zero as fast as possible in this period because several times negative voltage of DC-source voltage produce in phase winding. This paper is compared to performance based on conventional C-dump converter topology and the proposed resonant C-dump converter topology. Simulation and experimental results are presented to verify the effectiveness of the proposed circuit.

Design and Torque Ripple Analysis of Brush-less DC Motor According to Delta Winding Connection

  • In this study, we describe the design method of a Brush-less DC (BLDC) motor with delta winding connection. After designing delta winding connection model with the $60^{\circ}$ flat-top region of the Back Electro-Motive Force (BEMF), an ideal current source analysis and a voltage source analysis, with a 6-step control, were conducted primarily employing Finite Element Method. In addition, as a current controller, we considered the Current Regulator with PI controller using Simulink for the comparison of torque characteristics. When the input current is controlled, the switching regions and reference signals are determined by means of the phase BEMF zero-crossing point. In reality, the input current variation depends on the inductance as well as input voltage, and it causes a torque ripple after all. Therefore, each control method considered in this research showed different torque ripple results. Based on the comparison, the causes of the torque ripple have been verified in detail.

Temperature sensor without reference resistor by indium tin oxide and molybdenum (인듐틴옥사이드와 몰리브데늄을 이용한 외부 기준 저항이 필요 없는 온도센서)

  • Display quality depends on panel temperatures. To compensate it, temperature sensor was integrated on the panel. The conventional temperature sensor integrated on the panel needs external reference resistor. Since the resistance of external resistor can vary according to the variation of the environment temperature, the conventional temperature sensor can make error in temperature sensing. The environmental temperatures can change by the back light unit, driving circuits or chips. In this paper, we proposed a integrated temperature sensor on display panel which does not need external reference resister. Instead of external reference resistor, we used two materials which have different temperature coefficient in resistivity. They are connected serially and the output voltage was measured at the point of connection with the applied voltage to both ends. The proposed sensor was fabricated with indium tin oxide(ITO), and Mo metal electrode temperature sensor which were connected serially. We verified the temperature senor by the measurements of sensitivity, lineality, hysteresis, repeatability, stability, and accuracy.

  • 최근 평판디스플레이 산업이 성장함에 따라 품질향상을 위한 연구가 활발히 진행중이며 또한, 부품 소재 개발에 박차를 가하고 있다. 대형 평판디스플레이 중 낮은 전력소모와 광시야각이 우수한 TFT-LCD가 각광받고 있다. TFT-LCD 소자의 투명전극으로 사용되기 위해서는 면저항 10~1k Ohm/sq., 광투과율 85% 이상의 특성이 요구되며 ITO(Indium Tin Oxide의 약자) 타겟을 스퍼터링한 박막이 일반적으로 사용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 $In_2O_3$ 나노 분말 제조 공법으로 제작된 ITO 타겟을 사용하여 양산성 및 대형화에 적합한 DC 마그네트론 스퍼터 방식으로 투명전극을 제조하였다. 일반적으로 사용되는 고정식 DC 마그네트론 스퍼터 방식은 타겟표면에 재증착(back deposition)되는 저급산화물로 인해 이물 또는 노즐(Nodule) 이 형성되고 이로 인해 비이상적이고 불안정한 방전 플라즈마가 박막의 특성을 저하시킨다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해 이동식 DC 마그네트론 스퍼터 방식을 채택하였으며 대형 타겟을 이용한 대형화 기판 제작과 안정적인 sputter yield로 인해 uniformity가 우수한 ITO 박막을 제조하였다. ITO 박막의 저면저항 고투과율 특성을 구현하기 위해 공정변수인 산소분압, 전류밀도(DC power) 그리고 증착온도에 따른 ITO 박막의 미세조직과 결정성을 관찰하였으며 전기적 특성을 분석하였다.

Microstructure and Strength of the Microjoined Electrode for the Lamp of the LCD Backlight Unit (TFT-LCD 백라이트 유닛(BLU) 램프용 전극 미세 접합부의 강도 및 미세조직)

  • TFT-LCD is the most popular type of flat display panel in the information technology field. The back light unit is a main part of the structure of a TFT-LCD panel. Occasionally, studies have shown that failures of the CCFL of the BLU occur due to the poor weld characteristics of these materials. The aim of this study was to prepare some technical data and to characterize a microjoined electrode for the CCFL. Microstructure examinations, microhardness measurements, resistance measurements and microtensile tests of the microjoined electrode were carried out. The result indicates that a large amount of grain coarsening exists in the heat-affected zone (HAZ) of the weld between the cup and the pin. This grain coarsening of the HAZ between the cup and pin is caused by the welding cycle, which may have an influence on the lowest microhardness values. Fracturing of the microjoined electrode also occurred at the HAZ close to the cup between the weld holding the cup and the pin. Additionally, no specific changes of the electrical resistance among the cup, pin, and lead wire themselves or in the microjoined electrode were observed.

고방열 세라믹 기판을 이용한 LED 방열 특성에 대한 고찰

  • 최근 Light-emitting diodes (LEDs: 발광다이오드) 디바이스의 고휘도, 저전력, 긴 수명, 다양한 색연출 가능, 친환경 소자 등의 장점으로 LED 디바이스가 flat panel display(FPD)의 back light unit (BLU) 를 비롯해 실내 외 조명과 자동차 전조등 분야 이외에도 의료, 인테리어 사업을 비롯한 각종 전자 통신 기기의 정보 처리 기기의 표시소자 등, 여러 제품 군에 적용되는 가운데 큰 관심을 받고 있다. 하지만 이러한 여러 가지 장점에도 불구하고 LED 모듈에서의 junction temperature가 높은 방열 특성이 나쁘다는 단점은 아직 해결되지 않고 있는 실정이다. LED 소자 모듈에서의 junction temperature가 높을 경우 소비되는 에너지가 많을 뿐만 아니라 LED 소자의 발광효율이 떨어지고 수명이 급격히 저하 되어, 결국에는 신뢰성 특성이 현저히 저하 되는 결과가 초래되기 때문이다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 LED 디바이스의 열저항을 낮추기 위해 고방열 세라믹 기판을 이용해 LED 디바이스의 방열 특성을 향상시킨 결과를 제시한다. 고방열 세라믹 기판을 제작하여 LED 칩을 실장시킨 다음 LED 열저항 특성을 측정하였다. 이때 고방열 세라믹 기판은 Al2O3와 AlN이 사용되었으며 제작한 세라믹 기판의 강도, 표면 roughness, 미세구조 등을 살펴보고 이 기판들의 열전도도를 측정하였다. 제작 공정방법에 따라 세라믹 기판의 미세구조를 비롯한 기계적, 열적 특성이 현저히 변하였으며 이때 LED 칩을 실장 하여 측정한 열저항 특성 값도 함께 변하였다. Al2O3의 열저항 값은 3.003 K/W 으로 측정 되었으며, AlN의 열저항 값은 3.003k/W 으로 측정되었다.

  • This study is to find ways to use fast-fashion wedding dresses continuously which usually have worn three or four times and just wasted, which is an current interesting issue over the society. Among clothing from the 19th Century, three styles of Empire, and Crinoline were analyzed from their underwear styles to outwear styles through library and museums and are made for rental service. Based on 8-year-old girls' physical dimensions, openings and closing methods of each size were applied to develop and make rental dress designs. It will be a good opportunity to study history and develop creativity if children can try different styles of dresses from different cultures and times and also experience difference wearing ways as they also have such desire. Underwears were designed to be worn by adjusting cloth rings, rubber bands, or hook and eye to fit different dimensions. The final products are as follows. First, empire dress doesn't need underwear to wear. Depending on the purpose of the rental dress, the back side of upper clothes have lace up by using cloth rings like empire style. Skirt was cut to use hem lace suitably from wasted dress. Second, Crinoline dress is usually configured of Crinoline, Petticoat, Two Piece on Drawers, Chemise, and Corset. It was designed by flat front, bigger sides and backs by Crinoline and Petticoat.

The Production Method for Recreating the Historical Costume of Civil Official Yi Seung-hyu from the Late Goryeo -Focusing on Everyday Attire- (고려 후기 문신(文臣) 이승휴(李承休)의 영정복식 재현 제작 방법 -편복(便服)을 중심으로-)

  • The aim of this study was to reproduce the ordinary attire of Yi Seung-hyu, a civil official and writer of the late Goryeo, which will be used to make a his portrait. The reproduced costume consists of a single-layered pyoui (表衣) and jungdan (中單), lined jeogori and baji, and geon (巾), created with reference to historical documents, materials, and portraits. The pyoui was made with samcheokbe, with an H-shaped neck-shoulder band, an oblique single collar, and rectangular gussets. Two skirts were attached on the inside at the back, similarly to dopo. The jungdan also has an oblique single collar, but has an I-shaped neck-shoulder band and triangular gussets. A flat felled seam stitch, whip stitch, and French seam stitch were used in the hemlines and seams of the pyoui and jungdan. The jeogori and baji were made with toju (土紬), and small ties were attached to stabilize them. The geon is a long, oblique hat, which has folded side lines, and was made with flexible black hangra and using a French seam stitch and backstitch. The results include the elements of "restoration, historical research, and portrait costume", and will be maintained as the cultural heritage of Samcheok City.

  • In this thesis, I intend to study the translational and clinical interpretation through the theory of Ja-Yeol, and reached the following conclusions. 1. Liver-Heat-Disease due to absess of the function of expelling and lifting off, that Liver-Yang cannot lift up to upper-warmer, and stagnate liver. I think the symptoms of yellowish urine, abdominal pain, somnolence, fever belong to the syndrome of 'Gi-Bun(氣分)', and the symptoms of ravings with surprising, distending pain of hypochondrium, restless involuntary movement of the limbs, unable to lie flat belong to the syndrome of 'Hyeol-Bun(血分)'. 2. Heart-Heat-Disease due that 'Eum-Gi(陰氣)' in heart cannot lay down and reach to stagnate at heart, inner part. I think the symptoms of unjoy, acute cardiac pain, fidgetiness, well-nausea, headeche, reddish face, anhidrosis, etc. reveal with Heart-Heat-Disease. 3. Spleen-Beat-Disease due that 'Eum-Gi' in spleen cannot lay down and Yin of spleen changs heat. I think the symptoms of heaviness of head, cheek pain, fidgetiness, cyanosis, well-nausea, fever, not to let flex and reflex with back pain, diarrhea with abdominal pain, left and right cheek pain reveal with Spleen-Heat-Disease. I think symptoms of fever, diarrhea with abdominal pain belong to the syndrome of Yin-exhausion. 4. Lung-Heat-Disease due to that 'Eum-Gi' in lung cannot lay down. When 'Wi-Gi(衛氣)' stagnates at external part, I think, the symptoms of intolerance to wind and cold, yellowish fur, fever reveal. When Wi-Gi stagnates at lung, inner part, I think, the symptoms of dispnea with cough, pain on chest and back, unable to breath deeply, hydrosis and chilling reveal. 5. Kidney-Heat-Disease, in that the symptoms of back pain, leg aching, extreme thirst and frequently drink, fever, pain and stiffness of nape, cooling and aching leg, heat on plantar pedis, not trying to speak reveal is regarded external heat disease of 'Tai-Yang-Gyeong's(太陽經)' disease that asthenic fever open 'Tai-Yang-Gyeong' and lift by not enough of 'Yang-Gi(陽氣)' lifeing up from Kidney space, the water space of five elements.
