The purpose of this study is to investigate the fishery perception and recreation fishing demand level of coastal waters ranch with the case in Tongyeong city's Bijin-do Yongcho-do, Juk-do. The study conducts a survey of 27 fishermen and 113 recreation fishing tourists from September 26 to November 21, 2016. The major results of this study are as follows. First, the survey of fishery perception level suggests that the increase of fishery resources by Tongyeong-si coastal waters ranch project contributes to the rising income of fishermen, decreased fishing cost, and increased the number of tourists. Second, the survey of recreation fishing tourists's demand level suggests that a beautiful view, fish populations, kindness of residents, fishing point information, charter information, and the convenience of transportation are highly praised and highly regarded. However, links to nearby tourism, lodging facilities, and food information that can increase the income of fishermen is poorly praised. Therefore, this study suggests that a careful marine policy with fishery resource creation should be followed for marine fishing village tourism consumer's benefits in order to increase fishing village's income.

The development of IT related technology has made it possible to offer 'Any Time, Any Where, Any Service' to the users and internet-based service became accessible while on the move through wireless internet service. Moreover, the development of various wireless contents has been provided diverse ioy and convenience to life. However, the existing wireless contents had been subordinate to the wireless internet platform because it had not been set up for a standardized environment. Therefore, repeated developments of contents have been causing waste of resource, time and manpower. This paper aims at suggesting WIPI-bases artificial reefs search contents which have become independent from platform by using JAVA. Artificial reefs facilities are a government project for increasing the revenue of fishermen but only few fishermen know the information about the location of artificial reefs and most of them are not aware of the location of these facilities. There(ore this thesis plans to develop WIPI-bases artificial reefs search contents to provide information such as the location, the depth, and the bottom material to anglers and those fishermen who do not know the location of artificial reefs so that the fishermen can have the opportunity to increase their revenue and also the opportunity to catch a big fish for anglers.

The decrease of the fishery's business performance is due to the changes of environment-the increase of cost, the reduction of resources, the liberalization of import, the effectuation of the admiralty law Though the government has prepared the alternative policy to strengthen the competitive power of the fishery, fishermen should draw up a plan to improve the business performance. The problems of the small powered purse seine resulting from the small scale of the fishing boat is following. First, its catching activity in the sea is riskful. Second, the space to eat and to work is not enough. Third, the space to put the fish is not enough, it is hard to maintain the freshness of the fish. Therefore it is necessary to solve these problems for the scale of the fishing boat to have to be enlarged. The enlargement of the fishing boat to be required much expenditure of fund is the important investment decision to fishermen. The alternatives evaluation between the existing boat(defender) and the new boat enlarged with the new equipment(challenger) is necessary process to reduce the uncertainty of investment. The profitability of the challenger is better than that of defender due to the reduction of cost and the increase of revenue. Because the net present value of incremental cash flow is positive, it is rational for fishermen to accept the challenger.

It is essential to provide good environment for juvenile fish to grow and spawn in order to keep reproduction mechanism of fisheries resources. However, harvesting juvenile fish deprives adult fish of the opportunity to reproduce, thereby changing self-regulating renewable resources into non-renewable ones and preventing sustainable harvesting as well as reducing fishers' income. We reviewed the catch status of Korea on juvenile mackerel and analyzed how reducing the catch ratio of juvenile mackerel may affect the spawning stock and Korean fishermen's revenue. In addition, we analyzed the problem of caching juvenile mackerel in Korean fisheries and current efforts to protect and reduce the catch ratio of juvenile mackerel in Korea. Furthermore, we suggested future efforts to protect juvenile mackerel. The result of the study showed that reducing the catch ratio of juvenile mackerel from 44.4% to 30.0% would increase fishers' revenue by 60.6 billion KRW. We suggest the changing of purse seine fishery's catching methods from night operation to day operation, relocation of fishing vessels to move to other fishing grounds when fishing vessels meet high density of juvenile mackerel, and consumers' clever choice of consuming adult mackerel in order to accelerate the move toward protecting juvenile mackerel in Korea.
