브러쉬리스 동기발전기 자동전압조정기의 제어성능 향상을 위한 연구 (A study on improvement of the control performance of the automatic voltage regulator of a brushless synchronous generator)

  • 선박과 육상용 브러쉬리스 동기발전기의 자동전압조정기는 출력 단자전압을 주로 PID 제어방식으로 제어한다. 하지만 발전기 전력계통에서 부하의 변화량과 변화횟수가 클 경우에는 PID 제어방식으로는 전압의 변화량과 정정시간에 대해 강인한 제어성능을 발휘하기 어려워진다. 본 논문에서는 PID 제어방식에 비해 기준 단자전압 값에 대한 추종성능이 우수한 퍼지제어방식을 사용하여 자동전압조정기의 발전기 단자전압을 조정하는 기법을 제안하였으며, MATLAB/SIMULINK 시뮬레이션을 통해 동기발전기 자동전압 조정성능에 대한 우수성을 입증하였다.

Van- Hiele 이론에 의한 실업계 고등학생들의 기하 수준 고찰 (Study on Geomatric Level of Vocational High School Students Based on the Van Hiele Theory)

  • The purpose of this study is that the Van Hiele theory can be applied to even vocational high school students. Through the comparison of Van Hiele level distribution of middle school students and high school students, it is that the aims of this study is to study the geomatric level of vocational high school students and to analize them, even so it can be to find for them the effective method of Geomatric education The subject of study is three kinds of vocational high school - commercial high school, industrial high school, fisheries high school - boys (240), girls (120) in Boryeong city, Chungchong Nam Do. We referred to Kim Mi-cheong′ thesis(1994) and Cheong Yean-sok′s thesis(1992) and compared my result with them. The method and the process of the study were based on the th method of CDASSG project. And we used Van Hiele Level Test as an instrument of measurement. We got the following conclusion as the result of the study 1. The 86% of the subject of the study was applied to the theory of Van Hiele - "Any students can reach level n just through level n-1." Even so the propriety of the theory proved to be from this study again. 2. The 88% of the subject of the study is applicable to below level 2. So if the proof is introduced to them in the class, it was very difficult for them to understand it. 3. The geometric level of vocational high school students is the same as the second grade of middle school. But we think to be desirable that a basic concept puts first in importance through recomposed teaching materials, because 68% of the students is seldom changed at level 1.

Anesthetic and Physiological Effects of Clove oil and Lidocaine-HCl on the Grass Puffer, Takifugu niphobles

  • The aim of this study was to determine the physiological response and the applicable concentration ranges of anesthetic clove oil and anesthetic lidocaine-HCl, and to investigate the synergistic effect of a mixture of these two anesthetics on the in grass puffer (Takifugu niphobles). The anesthesia times decreased and the recovery times increased with increasing concentrations of clove oil and lidocaine-HCl. Applicable concentration ranges for long-term transportation requiring more than 1 hour were 2 ppm for clove oil and 50 ppm for lidocaine-HCl. With mixtures of the two anesthetics, the anesthesia time decreased as the admixture concentration of clove oil and lidocaine-HCl increased. Anesthesia times of experimental groups with the combined anesthetics were shorter than those with the same concentrations of clove oil or lidocaine-HCl alone. Plasma cortisol concentrations were highest at 6 hours in all experimental groups anesthetized with the mixture of clove oil and lidocaine-HCl, while all groups with clove oil or lidocaine-HCl alone had the highest plasma cortisol concentrations at 12 hours. Plasma glucose concentrations were highest at 12 hours in experimental groups anesthetized with the mixture of clove oil and lidocaine-HCl, while groups with clove oil or lidocaine-HCl alone had the highest plasma glucose at 24 hours. The results of this study provide basic information about anesthetics and the synergistic effect of mixtures of anesthetics in this fish species. This information should be useful for aquaculturists who require methods for safe and easy fish handling, and for transporters who require that minimal stress is imposed on fish during transport.

A Study on the Development of Educational Programs for LNG Bunkering in Consideration of the Safety System

  • This paper aims at presenting bunkering educational programs for LNG fueled ship taking into consideration existing similar education programs and safety systems at the international level in order to enhance both seafarers' and vessels' safety. Heavy fuel oil has typically been used as fuel of ship propulsion. The competitiveness of the fuel oil is recently getting weak in terms of cost and environmental aspects. Liquefied natural gas is introduced for ship propulsion in the maritime field as a new energy source replacing heavy fuel oil. In order to prepare for installation and operation of LNG fueled propulsion ship on board, International Maritime Organization has discussed this subject for about 10 years. As a result of the discussion on such ships in IMO, the International Code of Safety for Ships Using Gases or Other Low-Flash-Point Fuels entered into force on the year 2015. International organizations and several countries therefore drives actively entire researches and other businesses with a view to providing equipment and system of LNG bunkering. The systems are divided into ship-to-ship transfer, terminal / pipeline-to-ship transfer and truck-to-ship transfer. By adopting transfer system of LNG bunkering, many human resources will be needed in these areas on scene as well as on managing, operating, trading, finance, design of LNG bunkering industries. LNG bunkering is just in the beginning stage. Hence, this paper reviews and proposes professional educational programs of LNG bunkering in consideration of technical aspects of the safety system of LNG bunkering based on the types of bunkering systems.

Effect of Plant Proteolytic Enzyme on the Physico-chemical Properties and Lipid Profile of Meat from Culled, Desi and Broiler Chicken

  • Proteolytic enzymes are used for meat tenderization, an important process with regard to consumer preference. The proteolytic enzyme, IVRIN was isolated from the plant Cucumis pubescens W and its effect on physico-chemical properties and lipid profile of thigh and breast muscle of culled, desi and broiler birds was studied. Fifty-gram meat was treated with IVRIN containing 32.5 mg enzyme protein at $60^{\circ}C$ for 20 min. The pH of IVRIN treated meat was decreased significantly (p<0.01) and the effect was more pronounced in breast than thigh muscle. The water holding capacity (WHC) was increased significantly (p<0.01) in broiler as compared to desi and culled bird, and in breast compared to thigh muscle. IVRIN failed to produce any impact on muscle fiber diameter (MFD). The MFD of desi was significantly higher (p<0.01) than broiler and culled birds. The total lipid concentration in thigh and breast muscle of desi was lower (p<0.01) than broiler and culled birds, latter being similar in this respect. The cholesterol content was lower (p<0.01) in breast than thigh muscle, in broiler than desi and culled and in IVRIN treated than untreated meat samples. The phospholipid concentration was unaffected by IVRIN. Broiler and culled birds exhibited more phospholipid content than desi birds.

Strength analysis of mechanical transmission using equivalent torque of plow tillage of an 82 kW-class tractor

  • The power-train is the most important component of an agricultural tractor. In this study, the strength of the driving gear transmission of an 82 kW-class tractor was analyzed using equivalent torque during plow tillage. The load measurement system consisted of an engine revolution speed sensor, torque-meters, revolution speed sensors for four axles, and pressure sensors for two hydraulic pumps. The load data were measured during plow tillage for four speed stages: F2 (2.78 km/h), F5 (5.35 km/h), F7 (7.98 km/h), and F8 (9.75 km/h). Aspects of the gear-strength such as bending stress, contact stress, and safety factors were analyzed under two torque conditions: the equivalent torque at the highest plow load for the F8 speed stage and the maximum engine torque. The simulation results using KISSsoft showed that the maximum engine torque conditions had a lower safety factor than did the highest equivalent torque condition. The bending safety factors were > 1 at all gear stages, indicating that gear breakage did not occur under actual measured operating conditions, nor under the maximum torque conditions. However, the equivalent torque condition in the contact stress safety factor was > 1, and the maximum torque condition was < 1 at the first gear pair. The method of analysis using the equivalent torque showed lower stress and higher safety factor than did the method using maximum torque. Therefore, when designing a tractor by applying actual working torque, equivalent torque method would support more reliable product development.

사과장아찌 제조를 위한 전처리공정 중 절임원에 따른 사과의 이화학적 특성변화 (Changes in Physicochemical Characteristics of Apple Pre-Treated with Sugar and Salt for Manufacturing Apple Jangachi)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate changes in physicochemical properties of apples pre-treated differently with salt and sugar for apple Jangachi. When salt was used, moisture content was decreased by 28.41% to 57.67% at 24 hours and maintained an average 56.92% after 24 hours. However, when sugar was used, moisture content decreased steadily to 41.14% (60h). The pH of the apple pre-treated with salt decreased from pH 4.42 to pH 3.63 at 12 hours. However, in the case of apples pre-treated with sugar, pH decreased from pH 4.52 to pH 4.19 after 48 hours, but was not statistically significant. Conversely, total acidity of apple pre-treated with salt increased from 11.46% to 0.35% during 72 hours. But total acidity of apple pre-treated with sugar decreased to 0.11% at 24 hours and maintained. Sugar content of apple pre-treated with salt increased to 33.1% at 12 hours and maintained. Conversely, in case of sugar pre-treatment, sugar content of apple pre-treated with sugar increased steadily to 45.12% at 72 hours. Salinity of apple pre-treated with salt increased sharply to 15.74% during 24 hours. Lightness ($L^*$) of apple pre-treated sugar was not different from the control group. But apple pre-treated salt decreased slightly. Yellowness ($b^*$) was higher than the control group regardless of pre-treatment group. Sensory evaluation revealed that sugar pre-treatment apples were highly evaluated for flavor, taste, chewiness and overall acceptance.

사과장아찌 제조를 위한 전처리 공정의 최적화 (Optimization of Pre-treatment Process for Manufacturing Apple Jangachi)

  • In this study, optimized pre-treatment conditions were investigated to improve the quality of gochujang apple jangachi. The moisture content was decreased by 14% in 60% sugar solution and 17% in 30% salt solution during 12 hours. On the one hand, in the case of dry sugar and salt method, moisture content was decreased rapidly by 20% and 24%, respectively during 12 hours. Compared with the sugar and salt solution method, the dry sugar and salt method was more effective in reducing moisture content during 12 hours. In the case of osmotic dehydration of the apple parts in the dry sugar method, the moisture content of the flesh, flesh including peel, and peel of apple decreased by 23%, 20%, and 16%, respectively during 6 hours. However, in the dry salt method, the moisture content of the flesh, flesh including peel, and peel of apple decreased by 19%, 12% and 13%, respectively during 2 hours. During this time, the pH tended to decrease, regardless of the presence of sugar and salt. Total acidity was slightly increased in the case of salt. In hot air drying after osmotic dehydration, the moisture content of flesh including peel of apple decreased from 64% and 67% to 31% and 27%, respectively at 90 minutes, and from 64% and 67% to 11% and 18% at 150 minutes, respectively. The moisture content of the peel decreased from 51% to 10% at 120 minutes. As a result of the sensory evaluation, the overall acceptance of the flesh and flesh including peel was highly evaluated, resultantly, the products were considered to be suitable for the production of gochujang apple jangachi.

디스크플라우 및 로타리 작업에 따른 78 kW급 트랙터 PTO 가혹도 평가 (Evaluation of PTO Severeness for 78 kW-Class Tractor According to Disk Plow Tillage and Rotary Tillage)

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the PTO severeness for an agricultural tractor during disk plow and rotary tillage. The PTO load measurement system was constructed with data acquisition and a PTO torquemeter. Field experiments were conducted at a combination of traveling speed (L3 Low, L3 High) and PTO speed (P1, P2). The load spectrum was generated using the rain-flow counting method, and the SWT method was used to consider the range and mean of the PTO load. The damage sum was calculated by applying a modified miner rule, which is a cumulative damage law. The relative severeness was expressed as the ratio of the lowest damage sum. Relative severeness was higher with the lower PTO gear stage, and higher driving gear stage and it was approximately 40-102 times higher for rotary tillage than disk plow tillage in the same gear stages. The relative severeness was 1010.12 in the rotary tillage under L3 High P1 based on the disk plow tillage under L3 Low P2.

FIDO 시스템에서 EEG 신호를 이용한 사용자 인증 방법 (User Authentication Method using EEG Signal in FIDO System)

  • 최근 IT기슬과 금융 시스템의 융합으로 생체인식 기술이 사용되기 시작하였다. 이러한 생체 인식 기술인 FIDO(Fast Identity Online) 기술을 이용하여 삼성과 애플은 삼성페이와 애플페이 서비스를 시작하였다. FIDO 인증 기술은 패스워드와 같은 기존 인증 방법을 대체하고 있다. 생체 인식 기술 중 지문인식 기술은 비교적 저렴한 가격의 디바이스와 사용자 거부 반응을 최소화 할 수 있다는 점 때문에 주목받고 있다. 그러나 지문정보의 경우 사용자가 가지고 있는 수가 제한적이며, 외부 공격자에 의해 지문정보가 유출될 경우 재사용할 수 없다는 단점이 있다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 생체인식 기술 중 하나인 EEG 신호를 이용하여 사용자를 인증할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다. 제안 논문에서는 기존의 다채널 EEG 디바이스를 사용하지 않고 단채널 EEG 디바이스를 사용하여 편리성을 높였으며, EEG 신호 측정값을 FIDO 시스템에 사용할 수 있는 방법을 제안하였다. 제안 논문에서는 특정 개체 인식 전 후의 EEG 신호를 측정하여 사용자가 특정 개체를 인식하였을 때의 EEG 신호를 사용자 인증 수단을 활용할 수 있는 방법을 제안하였다.
