전산수치해석 기반 화재훈련 VR 시뮬레이터의 개발 (A Development of Fire Training Simulator Based on Computational Fluid Dynamics Simulation)

  • An experience based training system concerning various fire situations which may result many casualties has been required to make rapid decision and improve the responsiveness. Recently, the necessity of virtual reality (VR) based training system which can replace a dangerous full-scale fire training and be easily adopted to the training or evaluation process is increasing. This study constructed tile virtual environment according to pre-defined scenarios, utilized the FDS(Fire Dynamics Simulator), three dimensional computational fire analysis program, to derive numerically simulated data on the propagation of fire. Finally, by visualizing the realistic fire and smoke behavior through virtual reality technique and implementing real-time interaction, we developed a VR-based fire training simulator. Also, in order to ensure the sense for tile real of a virtual world and reaI-time performance at the same time, we proposed appropriate data processing and space search algorithms, demonstrate d the value of proposed method through experiments.

화재대응능력 향상을 위한 화재모의훈련의 개선방안에 관한 연구 : 업무시설의 화재모의훈련 중심으로 (A study on the improvement plan of fire simulation training for the improvement of fire response ability : Focusing on the fire simulation training of business facility)

  • 본 연구에서는 화재대응능력 향상을 위한 화재모의훈련의 개선방안을 제안하기 위해 3개의 업무시설물을 대상으로 화재모의훈련을 실시하고 훈련 교보재의 활용 여부와 대응단계별 대응시간의 훈련평가 반영 여부에 따라 변화하는 훈련 참여자들의 대응자세 및 대응능력을 관찰 및 분석하였다. 분석결과 대다수의 훈련 참가자들은 훈련 교보재 활용과 대응단계별 대응시간이 훈련평가에 반영될 때 훈련 참여도, 대응자세 및 대응능력이 향상되는 것으로 분석되었다. 화재모의훈련을 실시할 경우 훈련 참여자들의 화재대응능력(화재통보 및 화재신고, 초기소화, 대피) 향상과 유지를 위해 화재발생 상황을 유사하게 구현할 수 있는 훈련 교보재를 다수 활용하고 각 대응단계별 목표시간을 설정한 후 이를 기반으로 정량적인 훈련평가를 하여야만 화재대응능력 향상과 향후 화재모의훈련의 개선 및 피드백에 유용한 지표로 활용될 수 있다는 결과를 도출하였다.

요양병원 종사자의 소방안전 의식조사에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Consciousness Survey of Geriatric Hospital Workers for Fire Safety)

  • Currently many geriatric hospitals have been built in Korea because younger people don't want to care their parents and have been decreasing for labor. However, the increasing geriatric hospitals make the increasing fire safety accidents. Therefore, this study is conducted by survey and face-to-face talk for analyzing fire safety problem of twelve among 15 geriatric hospitals in the north of Chung-Buk area. The result of this study is that infection and fall accident are higher than others and fire safety implement rate of safety rule followed by CEO is 71%. Monthly safety training rate is 49% and initial fire safety training not conducted is 33%. Yearly outside fire safety training rate is 97% but workers who know how to use fire evacuation facility are 61%. Furthermore, safety instruction rate of fire safety manager is much higher than supervisor's safety instruction. The cause of accident is facility (33%). In conclusion, the institution and rule improvement need for decreasing infection and falling, increasing implement level of fire safety rule and fire safety training, participation rate of supervisor for fire safety, quality of fire safety training, and investment of fire safety facility.

대형 복합건물을 대상으로 하는 소방관 팀 훈련용 시뮬레이터 개발 (A Team-based Firefighter Training Simulator for Complex Buildings)

  • The increasing complexity of complex buildings, such as high-rise buildings and underground subway stations, presents new challenges to firefighters. In a fire in complex buildings, the importance of the collaboration between firefighters is clear. The increased demand on firefighter training for such environment is now evident. Due to cost, time, and safety issues, it is impossible to experience a real fire in such environments for training. In addition, the use of real fire for training does not enable repeatable training and the evaluation of the training is difficult. We developed a team-based firefighter training simulator for complex buildings using the virtual reality technology. It provides the training and evaluation of firefighting and mission-based team training. To model real fire phenomena in virtual space, a numerical analysis method based on fire dynamics is used. To achieve an immersive virtual environment, an augmented reality technique for the compensation of real world image and a haptic technique for heat experience are adopted. The developed training simulator can help the firefighter to respond to large and complex firefighting scenarios, while maintaining the safety of the trainees.

AHP를 이용한 서울특별시소방학교 교육훈련프로그램 분석 (An Analysis for the Educational Training Program of Seoul Fire Academy through AHP)

  • In recent years, the surroundings of Fire have rapidly changed and citizens need for Fire have been demanding very high. Under these situations, in order for satisfaction to all these demands, Seoul Metropolitan Government Fire Academy(SFA) have only to improve its educational training program as the fire educational training center in Korea. The purpose of this study is to scrutinize current educational training program of SFA and measure the relative weight among the hierarchy of disaster management(prevention and mitigation-preparedness-response-recovery) by using the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP). The result of this study presents that how many hours must be allocated and set the educational training program with scientific and systematic way of AHP compared the current program of SFA in 2013. And This study is applied to increase access and comprehension about the AHP and will be able to present guideline for the selection of optimal the educational training of SFA to serve Seoul citizens the best Fire services.

선박 화재 대응 훈련을 위한 가상 선원 훈련 플랫폼 개발 (A Virtual Sailor Training Platform for Fire Drills on Ship)

  • 본 논문은 선박 화재 상황에 대한 비상 대처 훈련을 가상 환경에서 수행하는 가상 선원 훈련 플랫폼을 제안한다. 제안하는 플랫폼은 HMD 기반의 몰입형 가상 환경을 제공하여 훈련 효과를 높일 뿐 아니라 네트워크를 통하여 다중 피훈련자가 함께 훈련에 참여하기 때문에 가상 환경에서의 협동 훈련을 수행할 수 있다. 본 플랫폼은 FDS 및 CFAST 기반의 오프라인 화재 시뮬레이션 결과를 기반으로 사실적인 화재 확산 및 시각화를 제공한다. 선박 화재 상황에 대한 해양 안전 교육 기관의 교재 시나리오를 기반으로 구현한 본 훈련 플랫폼은 기존의 절차 숙달 훈련에 더불어 몰입형 가상 기술을 이용한 장비 숙달 및 환경 숙달 훈련을 제공한다. 구현된 가상 선원 훈련 플랫폼은 장비 작동, 환경 통제, 원격 현장감을 기반하여 선원의 훈련도를 향상시키고 다수의 피훈련자가 실시간으로 임무를 공동 수행하는 가상 협력 훈련이 가능함을 보였다. 또한 구현된 플랫폼은 화재 진압 요령, 승객 유도 방법 등 다양하고 세부적인 기능 숙달 훈련이 가능함을 보였다.

  • It is provided that the seaman should be educated and trained by basic fire-fighting to save the life and protect asset at sea by the STCW(The International Convention on Standard for Training, Certification and Watchkeeping). The designated seaman's safety educational institution which is specified in the nation has held a basic and advanced fire-fighting education for the seaman. The interest of safety at sea has been increasing due to recent huge maritime disaster and there is a tendency to strengthen the safety education for the seaman in the nation. For the effective fire-fighting education for the seaman, the appropriate educational content and facilities are required. Moreover, It is necessary to apply an effective education and training methods for achieving the goal. Unfortunately, this paper has not perfectly been conducted to improve effective safety training in the designated educational institutions which held the seaman's maritime safety educations. From now on, we should consider the effective educational ways for the seaman. The purpose of this paper is to develop the education and training model of STCW seaman's fire-fighting education through the reviewing the status of safety education in the nation.

가상현실을 적용한 소방교육·훈련에 관한 연구 (Study on Firefighting Education and Training Applying Virtual Reality)

  • 본 연구는 재난관리 단계와 소방학교 교육과정별로 VR 프로그램의 특성과 연관성을 고려하여 분류하고, AHP 분석 기법을 활용하여 VR 소방교육훈련 프로그램 중 우선순위를 설정하고, 소방교육훈련 분야별 구체적 교육훈련 프로그램에 대해 그 중요도와 시급도성을 감안하여 상대적 우선순위를 제시하였다. 연구의 결과, 소방교육훈련 대분류에서는 대응분야가 가장 높게 나타났으며, 중분류에서는 예방단계의 안전교육이 가장 높게 나타났다. 소분류의 상대적 우선순위는 예방단계에서 지하철역사와 같은 밀폐 공간에 화재 발생시, 대피 체험을 위한 시뮬레이션 구현이 가장 높게 나타났으며, 대비단계에서는 특수소방차량 조작 시뮬레이션이 가장 높게 나타났다. 대응단계에서는 실화재 가상현실 시뮬레이션 훈련이 가장 높게 나타났으며, 복구단계에서는 화재 데이터베이스를 토대로 화재상황을 판단하는 가상현실 훈련이 가장 높게 나타났다.

화재.피난 시뮬레이션을 통한 청소년 수련관 시설의 피난 안정성 검토 (An Evaluation on Evacuation Safety in Training Facilities For Young People based on Fire and Evacuation Simulation)

  • The Purpose for this study was to analyze the evacuation behavior of a training facilities for young people in case of fire emergency. It is necessary to study for fire safety design of the training facilities. The study carried out two different simulations on the training facilities. The results were divided into two groups by using Simulex, FDS. By comparing those two different outputs, we were able to verify the problems of existing training facilities. The results have shown that there was a need for a greater structural design in these training facilities.
