선진각국의 내화설계법에 관한 연구 (A Study on Fire Resisting Construction Design in Advanced Nation)

  • In Our Country, the fire safety design is done by the standard furnace fire test. This is haphazard procedure, as the standard furnace fire endurance of structural elements has little relation to the structural element endurance in an actual Compartment fire. The standard furnace fire test results, though obtained at great cost, do not contribute to the understanding of the behavior of structural elements in an elevated temperature environment and can not be applied rationally in fire safety design. The response of a steel and reinforced concrete structure in fire is a very complex problem. Therefore, in this paper is explained about tendency of study for fire safety design in advanced nations.

  • Recently, a building fire has occurred due to various influences. Accordingly, we are developing an public safety & security unmanned aerial vehicle for fire prevention and initial response to fire. The public safety & security unmanned aerial vehicle is used to grasp the traffic route to enter the fire engine in the event of a fire in a dense structure and to determine the scale of the fire and the area of danger of collapse around the fire site. In this study, an environmental test of the public safety & security unmanned aerial vehicle's heat resistance was performed in an environment simulating a fire scene.

  • The main cause of building fire fatalities occur in the combustible material heat, smoke and toxic gases are. Building interior decoration, etc., especially as much of the harmful substances generated during combustion, and, used in domestic architecture wallpaper, ceiling, and other plastics, built-in foam insulation also analyzed recognition of fire hazards approach to test the conkalrorimiteo test, choedaeyeolbangchulryul through, chongbal heat, mass loss rate, generates carbon monoxide gas hazard ratio tests, analysis and evaluation rigid foam index testing the toxicity of hazardous material generated by performing a gas clean up and assess the material test results, the minimum order to provide data to quantify the risk of fire. Ensure fire safety of building materials, composite materials in order to test the various risk factors could be considered organic to the introduction of testing and evaluation is needed urgently.

  • The live fire test has been playing a critical role in evaluating the goals-to-meet of the weapon systems which utilize the power of explosives. As such, the successful development of the test systems therein is quite important. The test systems development covers that of ranges and facilities including system-level key components such as mission control, instrumentation or observation, safety control, electric power, launch pad, and so on. In addition, proper operational guidelines are needed with well-trained test and operation personnel. The emerging weapon systems to be deployed in future battle field would thus have to be more precise and dynamic, smarter, thereby requiring more elaboration. Furthermore, the safety consideration is becoming more serious due to the ever-increasing power of explosives. In such a situation, development of live fire test systems seems to be challenging. The objective of the paper is on how to incorporate the safety and other requirements in the development. To achieve the goal, an architectural approach is adopted by utilizing both the system components relationship and safety requirement when advanced instrumentation technology needs to be developed and deteriorated components of the range are replaced. As an evaluation method, it is studied how the level of maturity of the test systems development can be assessed particularly with the safety requirement considered. Based on the concepts of both systems engineering and SoS (System-of-Systems) engineering process, an enhanced model for the system readiness level is proposed by incorporating safety. The maturity model proposed would be helpful in assessing the maturity of safety-critical systems development whereas the costing model would provide a guide on how the reasonable test resource allocation plan can be made, which is based on the live fire test scenario of future complex weapon systems such as SoS.

계획된 행동 이론을 적용한 화재안전교육이 요양보호사 교육생들의 화재안전행동에 미치는 효과 (Effect of Fire Safety Education Based on the Theory of Planned Behavior on the Fire Safety Behavior of Care Worker Trainees)

  • 본 연구는 요양보호사 교육생들을 대상으로 화재안전교육의 효과를 규명하기 위한 유사실험연구로 비동등성 대조군 전후시차설계(Non-equivalent control group no-synchronized design)이다. 연구대상자는 S요양보호사 교육원의 교육생으로 실험군 28명, 대조군 29명으로 총 57명 이었다. 실험처치기간은 2018년 5월 21일부터 6월 14일까지 주 1회씩 총 4회로 구성하여 화재안전교육을 실시하였다. 자료분석은 ${\chi}^2-test$, t-test로 분석하였다. 연구결과 화재안전교육은 요양보호사 교육생들의 화재안전에 대한 지식, 화재안전에 대한 태도, 화재안전에 대한 지각된 행동통제, 화재안전 행동의도, 화재안전 행동을 증진시키는데 효과적인 교육으로 일상생활에서 화재안전행동실천에 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것이라 기대된다. 반면 화재안전에 대한 주관적 규범은 유의한 차이가 없는 것으로 나타나 화재안전에 대한 주관적 규범의 효과를 검증하는 후속연구를 제언한다.

  • 해양플랜트는 고립된 한경 특성상 화재에 취약하다. 특히 해양플랜트의 주요 기자재인 소화용 감압 밸브가 피해를 입었을 때 해양플랜트의 피해는 증가한다. 본 논문에서는 해양플랜트에 사용되는 소화용 감압밸브에 대한 화재 안전시험을 수행하고 그 결과를 수치해석 결과와 비교, 분석하여 해석의 타당성을 증명하고 화재 안전시험에 대한 해석 기법을 제시하였다. 화재 안전시험의 화염을 구현하기 위해 FSI를 이용하였으며 화재 안전시험의 온도 분포와 해석 결과 온도분포의 비교를 통해 해석 기법의 신뢰성을 확인하였다. 또한, 화재 안전시험에서 나타난 문제점을 구조해석을 통해 검증하였으며 그 결과 시트의 변형이 문제점으로 나타났다.

화재 안전용 볼밸브의 열·구조 연성해석 (Thermal-structural Coupled Field Analysis for Fire Safety Type Ball Valve)

  • The safety of transporting equipment in a cryogenic condition is one of important problems under the circumstances that the application weight of natural gas is gradually increasing. As a larger disaster may be generated by leakage of oil or gas from valves in case of fire occurrence of a ship, the present research applied a numerical analysis method on thermal stress distribution and deformation, etc. to the design of ball valves satisfying fire safety test's specification(API607) to prevent this. In addition, the present research progressed fire safety tests and compared the test result with numerical analysis results. The Max stress by parts was confirmed through thermal analysis of major parts to evaluate safety. The fire safety test was progressed according to the regulation of API607.

소규모 주거 공간 실물화재실험을 통한 적재 가연물의 연소특성 분석 (An Analysis of Combustion Characteristics of Residential Facilities through Real Fire Tests in a Small Residential Space)

  • In this study, real fire tests were performed on representative combustibles of residential facilities to analyze the fire behavior and combustion characteristics in a small residential space. The considered combustibles were a sofa, a combination of a desk and a chair, and a combination of a mattress and an electric mat. A compartment space fire test was performed using the room corner test equipment prescribed in the KS F ISO 9705 specification. Three real fire tests were conducted by placing the combustible material inside a small compartment with insulation and finishing materials and by igniting the combustible material. Results showed that the peak heat release rate and peak smoke production rate occurred in the combination of the mattress and electric mat. Furthermore, from the result of the fire rate analysis, it was estimated that the fire risk of the mattress and electric mat combination was the highest, followed by the sofa and thedesk and chair combination.

경년열화 기간에 따른 원자력발전소용 비안전등급 케이블의 연소특성 분석 (Combustion Characteristics Analysis of a Non-class 1E Cable for Nuclear Power Plants according to Aging Period)

  • In this study, combustion and smoke release characteristics of a non-class 1E cable for nuclear power plants were investigated according to aging period. The aging was reproduced through an accelerated aging method for interval of 10 years :10, 20, 30 and 40 year, which was applied the Arrhenius equation. The cable was subjected to accelerated aging. In order to understand combustion and smoke release characteristics, the cone calorimeter test was performed according to the standard code of KS F ISO 5660-1. Heat release rate, mass loss rate, average rate of heat emission and smoke production rate were examined through cone calorimeter test. Fire performance index, fire growth index and smoke factor were derived from test results for the comparison of quantitative fire risk. When comparing the fire performance index and the fire growth index, the early fire risk tends to decrease as aging progresses, which might be attributed from the fact that the volatile substances of cables were evaporated. However, when comparing the heat release rate, average rate of heat emission and mass loss rate, which represent the mid and late periods of the fire risk, the values of accelerated aging cables were much higher than those of non-aged cable, which signifies the unstable formation of the char layer resulted in the change in the performance of flame retardants. In addition, the results from the smoke characteristics show that the accelerated aging cables were lager than the non-aged cables in terms of overall fire risk. These results can be used as baseline data when assessing fire risk of cables and establishing fire safety code for nuclear power plants.
