  • In this paper, we fabricated PRT(platinum resistance thermometers) with the trimming technology using high fine laser system. U. V.(wavelength: 355nm) laser was mainly used for adjusting Pt thin films resistors to 100Ω at 0$^{\circ}C$. Internationally, the accepted A-class tolerance of temperature sensor is ${\pm}$0.06Ω at 0$^{\circ}C$. according to DIN EN 60751. The width of trimmed lines was about 10$\mu\textrm{m}$ and the best trimming conditions of Pt thin films were power : 37mW, frequency : 200Hz and bite size:1.5$\mu\textrm{m}$. And 96 resistors, fabricated by photolithography and etching process, have 79∼90Ω and 91∼102Ω as the proportion of 45.7% and 57.3%, respectively. As result of sitting Pt thin films resistors to the target value(109.73Ω at 25$^{\circ}C$), 82.3% of all resistors had the tolerance within ${\pm}$0.03Ω and the others(17.7%) were within ${\pm}$0.06Ω of A-class tolerance. The PRTs which wore fabricated in this research had excellent characteristics as follows; high accuracy, international standard TCR(temperature coefficient of resistance) value, long-term stability, wide temperature range, good linearity and repeatability, rapid response time, etc.

  • We report a fine scale transient brightening event near a pore boundary with the Fast Imaging Solar Spectrograph (FISS) of the 1.6m Goode Solar Telescope (GST), the Atmospheric Imaging Assembly (AIA) aboard the Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO), and Helioseismic and Magnetic Imager (HMI) aboard SDO. The event appears in all AIA extreme ultraviolet bands, also in the two FISS lines, $H{\alpha}$ and Ca II $8542{\AA}$, and lasted for a minute. The brightening occurred at a footpoint of a loop. The conjugate brightening occurred at the other foot point outside the FISS field of view. The brightening near the pore exhibit a redshift of 4.3 km s-1 in the $H{\alpha}$ and about 2.3 km s-1 in Ca II line. Differential emission measure derived from 6 AIA EUV passbands and cloud model fitting of the two FISS lines indicate the temperature increase of between 10,000 and 20 MK at the main event. After the brightening, the upward mass motion appears in the AIA images. We discuss the physical implication of this brightening in the context of magnetic reconnection and coronal heating.

  • This study is about reproduction of Yoseon-Cheobli excavated from Byun-su tomb in earlier Joseon Dynasty. There are three Yoseon-Cheobli in Byun-su tomb. The producing process is made in concrete by suggesting the process of producing clothing. Based on the Annals of the Joseon Dynasty, the most frequently recorded one, was reproduced by dying fabric with safflower and indigo plants. Through the research about their specific size, sewing method and construction, it have been produced in the following. First, the revealing that collar to be half-square and to compose the line in the center of collar. The width of the collar is 11.6 12.1cm. Second, the 21~22 pairs of waist lines that are 13~14cm in width fixed at intervals of 0.3cm. The method of making waist lines is twisting either fabrics or silk threads. Third, fine gathering around the part of the waist of skirt, and the size of fold surface is 0.2cm. Sewing method needs running stitch and backstitch. As the result of producing the cloth, it became to possess more ornamental features after transformation suitable to the new environment while the same remained functional features for everyday life such as a dressing shape, length of the bodice and curvy completion line of a collar strip.

  • The preform design in metal forging plays a key role in improving product quality, such as ensuring defect-free property and proper metal flow. In industry, preforms are generally designed by the iterative trial-and-error approach, but this approach leads not only to significant tool cost but also to the down-time of the production equipment. It is thus necessary to reduce the time and the man-power through an effective method of perform design. In this paper, the equi-potential lines designed in the electric field are introduced to find the preform shape. The equi-potential lines obtained by the arrangement of the initial and final shapes are utilized for the design of the preform, and then applied for obtaining a fine preform in the foging process of the ball-joint socket.

  • The patterns and contents of ginsenosides were examined in normal root parts and hairy root lines of Panax ginseng C. A. Meyer. Ginsenoside-Rb$_1$, -Rb$_2$, -Rc, -Rd, -Re, -Rf, -Rg$_1$, -Rg$_2$ were detected in normal roots and hairy roots of ginseng. The patterns and contents of ginsenosides in that were very difference each other. The contents of total ginsenoside of hairy root (KGHR-1) was 17.42 mg/g dry wt, it's highest compared to others. Ginsenoside contents of hairy root (KGHR-1) was higher on ginsenoside-Rd, Rg$_1$, KGHR-5 was higher on ginsenoside-Rb$_1$, Rg$_1$, and KGHR-8 was higher on ginsenoside-Rd, Re than others. The contents of total ginsenosides on 6 years old ginseng cultured in the field were high in the order of main root, lateral root and fine roots, and content of ginsenosides in fine roots was 3.2 times higher than that in main root. The ratio of ginsenoside-Rg$_1$to total ginsenosides were about 3.43%, 8.68% and 14.18% respectively on fine root, lateral root and main root, it's very lower than that in hairy roots. It is suggested that specific ginsenosides can be produce in cultures of ginseng hairy roots.

  • The Gochang-gun Dongho macro-tide pocket-type beach, located on the southwestern coast of Korea, is investigated in terms of the seasonal variations of surface sediment and sedimentary environment. Surface sediments of 45 sites in four seasons (May 2006-February 2007) are sampled across three survey lines (15 sites in each survey line). The surface sediments of the Dongho Beach are mainly composed of fine to coarse sands, and the ratio of fine sand is the largest. The average of grain size is the coarsest in the summer. The spatial distribution of surface sediments shows a coast-parallel band of fine and medium sands during three seasons of spring, fall, and winter, whereas medium sands dominated in the northern part of the study area during the summer. These results suggest that a tide is more effective than a wave in the surface sediments of the Dongho Beach during the summer.

  • This paper is related to a roll-type micro-contact printing process. The proper parameters such as coating velocity, inking velocity, printing velocity and printing pressure as well as Ag contents of Ag ink were extracted to perform the fine patterning of Ag electrodes. Additionally we developed a process for PDMS with high uniform thickness. Finally, we obtained the Ag fine electrodes on $4.5cm\;{\times}\;4.5cm$ plastic substrate with the line width of 10 um, thickness less than 300 nm, surface roughness less than 40 nm, and the specific resistance of $2.08\;{\times}\;10^{-5}{\Omega}{\cdot}cm$.

  • The Gochanggun Kwangseungri macro-tide open-coast beach, located in the southwestern coast of Korea, was investigated in terms of the seasonal variations of surface sediment facies and sedimentary environment. Surface sediments of 45 sites in four seasons (May 2006 - February 2007) were sampled along three survey lines (15 sites in each survey line). The surface sediments of the Kwangseungri Beach are mainly composed of fine-grained sands, and its mean grain size is the coarsest in winter. Mud facies partly exists in summer, whereas it is nearly absent in winter. The spatial distribution of surface sediments shows a coast-parallel band of fine and medium sands during spring, fall, and winter. In the northern part, the study area is dominated by fine sands during summer, whereas by coarse sands during winter. These results can be interpreted that tide is more effective than wave on the surface sediment distribution of the Kwangseungri Beach during the summer season.

  • In the Iranian epic $K{\bar{u}}shn{\bar{a}}ma$, there is a rather interesting story that recounts how the inhabitants of $B.s{\bar{i}}l\bar{a}$ cross-breed their domesticated horses with a magical horse living in the sea in order to obtain fine-bred ones. What is even more interesting is that similar accounts are also seen in many of other classical Perso-Arabic works and Chinese sources. The regions that such events took place in mainly spread over Central Asia and western China while in $K{\bar{u}}shn{\bar{a}}ma$, the story happens in $B.s{\bar{i}}l\bar{a}$, a legendary kingdom with its historical prototype being Silla. By sorting out certain records of how ancient people sought fine horses by cross-breeding domesticated horses with wild horses that inhabited mountains and waters within Chinese sources and classical Muslim works, and comparing these accounts with similar plot lines as depicted in $K{\bar{u}}shn{\bar{a}}ma$, this paper attempts to elucidate that the story in $K{\bar{u}}shn{\bar{a}}ma$ is a result of flourishing land and maritime exchanges between East Asia and West Asia during ancient and medieval times, rather than a purely literary fiction. It was not only influenced by the horse culture that thrived over the Eurasian Steppe, but the story is also coincidentally in accordance with the fact that the nomadic zone which lies within the central Eurasian continent extends as far as the Korean Peninsula in northeast Asia.

  • The purpose of the study was to initially investigate the concentration patterns of $PM_1$, $PM_{2.5}$ and $PM_{10}$ in the Seoul subway lines, and then to figure out the PM behaviors of internal and external sources inside subway tunnels. The PMs were monitored by a light scattering real-time monitor during winter (Jan. 8-26 in 2015) and summer (July 2-Aug. 7 in 2015) in tunnel air, in passenger cabin air, and in the ambient air. The daily average $PM_{10}$, $PM_{2.5}$, and $PM_1$ concentrations on these object lines were $101.3{\pm}38.4$, $81.5{\pm}30.2$, and $59.7{\pm}19.9{\mu}g/m^3$, respectively. On an average, the PM concentration was about 1.2 times higher in winter than in summer and about 1.5 times higher in underground tunnel sections than in ground sections. In this study, we also calculated extensively the average PM mass ratios for $PM_{2.5}/PM_{10}$, $PM_1/PM_{10}$, and $PM_1/PM_{2.5}$; for example, the range of $PM_{2.5}/PM_{10}$ ratio in tunnel air was 0.82-0.86 in underground tunnel air, while that was 0.48-0.68 in outdoor ground air. The ratio was much higher in tunnel air than in outdoor air and was always higher in summer than in winter in case of outdoor air. It seemed from the results that the in/out air quality as well as a proper amount of subway ventilation must be significant influence factors in terms of fine PM management and control for the tunnel air quality improvement.
