Building costs means capital costs which include cost of land, cost of acquiring and preparing the site, construction costs, engineering fees, furnishings, cost of financing the project, and cost of management required to run and maintenance the building for use. An economic analysis is one of the most important factor to determine the project feasibility. The purpose of the this study is to analysis on the construction cost structure of steel truss stadium.
The coronavirus pandemic of 2019-20 confronted fiscally dominant regimes around the world with the question of whether the large deficits caused by the health crisis should be monetized or financed by issuing debt. The unpleasant monetarist arithmetic of Sargent and Wallace (1981) states that in a fiscally dominant regime tighter money now can cause higher inflation in the future. In spite of the qualifier 'unpleasant,' this result is positive in nature, and, therefore, void of normative content. I analyze conditions under which it is optimal in a welfare sense for the central bank to delay inflation by issuing debt to finance part of the fiscal deficit. The analysis is conducted in the context of a model in which the aforementioned monetarist arithmetic holds, in the sense that if the government finds it optimal to delay inflation, it does so knowing that it would result in higher inflation in the future. The central result of the paper is that delaying inflation is optimal when the fiscal deficit is expected to decline over time.

This study investigates aircraft lessor business models by studying cases and interviewing experts to analyze investors and business strategies of aircraft lessor. The results confirm that there is a wide range of investors including institutional investors, financial institutions, insurance companies, corporations, and wealthy individuals for aircraft lessor. Aircraft lessors can be categorized based on its required rate of return (cost of capital) into bank-investing core, institutional investor-investing value-added, and hedge fund-investing opportunistic. Aircraft lessor decides leasing rate by aircraft purchasing price and lessee's credit rating. Core aircraft lessors invest in new aircrafts for new placement or sale-and-leaseback strategy requiring little technical risk in aircraft, value-added lessors invest in middle-aged aircrafts for re-leasing, opportunistic lessors invest in old aircrafts for freighter conversion or part-out strategy requiring high level of expertise. This study provides insights for future Korean aircraft lessor establishment and investment.
Fraunhofer was founded in 1949 and grew into Europe's largest application-oriented research organization. Fraunhofer currently employs over 20,000 members in Germany, is internationally networked, and manages an R&D budget of over 1,8 Billion Euros per year. An important step for Fraunhofer to become an integral component of the German innovation system was the introduction of the Fraunhofer Model of financing based on a performance-related system of financial management. The underlying model of the allocation and distribution of public funding to Fraunhofer that is subsequently allotted to specific research groups is one of the success factors of Fraunhofer. Fraunhofer is proud of its decentralized organizational model. Fraunhofer is comprised of 60 Institutes in Germany working in different fields, under one legal framework, and with a strong brand value. Every Fraunhofer Institute is affiliated with a German University and every institute director simultaneously holds a chair at the affiliated university. It is a challenge for the headquarter organization to balance the intended competition of individual Fraunhofer Institutes with complementarity cooperation in science among Fraunhofer-Institutes, especially when coming from different knowledge domains; however, this goal results in a significant advantage. The unique strengths of Fraunhofer offer system solutions in a world with increasingly complex R&D challenges. While growing to become the largest organization on Europe to focus on applied research it is the challenge to remain an agile organization that is flexible in organizational structure. Fraunhofer has reached a well-recognized position in the European innovation landscape. It is often referred to by science and governments as a role model for innovation policy and a key element of the latest successes in the German economy that has recovered quicker from the latest economic crisis than most other western economies. The paper explains Fraunhofer as an organizational paradigm and its underlying management model to elaborate on the challenges of managing a research organization. We wish to show how it is possible to transfer the management model and philosophy of Fraunhofer to innovation systems with different framework conditions and challenges. A universal conclusion may be drawn based on the description of Fraunhofer; however, changes in existing structures and innovation systems cannot be implemented over night.

The largest source of revenue in Indonesia comes from the taxation sector. Taxes increase the state revenue, which the government utilizes for building public facilities and infrastructures, providing subsidies to the public, financing public interests, and so on. In addition to producing revenue, taxes may be used to promote economic stability. Thus, this study aims to examine and analyze the financial aspects of tax aggressiveness. The financial aspects include leverage, capital intensity, inventory intensity, and earning management. The population used in this study was manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2016-2019 period. Data analysis was carried out based on Eviews, with a selected sample of 32 companies of four observation years. Therefore, the number of samples was 128. The results of this study revealed that the best estimation model to use is the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). This study proved that leverage and earning management had a positive and significant effect on tax aggressiveness. In contrast, capital intensity and inventory intensity did not affect tax aggressiveness. In addition, the result of this study is still far from perfect. It is, therefore, hoped that further research can add other variables to find better results.

This study is on the development of a System Dynamics Model for business feasibility analysis of an apartment house development project. In this study, we analyzed other apartment development projects and research projects, and identified the cash flow items, which consist of revenue and expenditure items. In addition, we made efforts to find the influence relationship among these using the system thinking method and developed a system dynamics model. In order to test the model, a case study was conducted in which it was applied to an apartment development project. Vensim, a System Dynamics Modeling and simulation software package was used to analyze and test the model. The model suggested in this study can help a developer to make decisions on project financing at the initial stage of an apartment house development project.
Recently, the value of intellectual property rights including patents has been estimated for various purposes. In particular, the evaluation of loans, guarantees and collateral through patent valuation is increasing with the revitalization of technology financing. Although various studies have been conducted on patent valuation, little research has been done on the adequacy of patent valuation. In this study, using the DCF model, which is the most commonly used method of technology valuation, we examine the appropriateness of the patent valuation by comparing and analyzing the estimated value and actual value of the patent. An empirical result shows that the difference between estimated value and the actual value is statistically significant, and there is a significant difference between the estimated value and the actual value depending on the classification of evaluation work. In addition, while there is no difference between professors, patent attorneys, and researchers in the analysis of value differences according to technical evaluators, there is a significant difference between patent attorneys and other evaluators. Finally, we find a significant value difference between estimated value and actual value of technology subject to evaluation by industry.

The changes in business structure of domestic construction companies suggest that there is a close relationship between the volume of overseas project and a company's financial condition. Based on this assumption, this study conducts an empirical analysis on a relationship between overseas project and financial stability of a construction company. The ratio of liquidity and liability was used as liquidity index and stability index respectively. The analysis was based on quarterly time-series data between 2000 and 2010. Two models were constructed for the analysis: Model 1 was based on the liquidity ratio and the amount of domestic and overseas construction project; Model 2 was based on the debt ratio and the amount of domestic and overseas construction project. The analysis results showed that the increasing amount of overseas project facilitated short-term financing with greater liquidity, and yet it was not very effective in lowering the debt ratio. This suggests that the dramatic increase in overseas construction project, which is observed recently, is not entirely an optimistic sign.
Purpose Financial technology, also known as FinTech, is conceptually defined as a new type of financial service which is combined with information technology and other traditional financial services like payments, investments, financing, insurance, asset management and so on. Most of the studies on FinTech services have been conducted from the viewpoint of technical issues or legal and institutional studies, and few studies are conducted from the health belief perspectives and security behavior approaches. In this regard, this study suggest an extended information protection behavior model. Design/Methodology/Approach The Health Belief Model (HBM), the Protection Motivation Theory (PMT), and the Technology Threat Avoidance Theory (TTAT) were employed to identify constructs relevant to information protection behavior of FinTech services. A new extended information protection behavior model in which the influence factors of information protection behavior (i.e., perceived susceptibility, perceived severity, perceived benefits, perceived barriers, perceived self-efficacy, subjective norms) affect perceived threats and perceived responsiveness positively, leading to information protection behavior of FinTech users eventually. This study developed an extended information protection behavior model to explain the protection behavior intention in FinTech users and collected 272 survey responses from the mobile users who had experiences with such mobile payments and FinTech services. Findings The finding of this study suggests that the influence factors of information protection behavior affect perceived threats and perceived responsiveness positively, and information protection behavior of FinTech users as well.

When promoting BTL(Build Transfer Lease; below BTL) project, negotiation is a stage of examining observation and reflection of RFP(Request for Proposal below RFP) in terms with facilities, operating and financing. It keeps an important position in whole process. However, there is no consistent guideline or model which helps evaluating the result of negotiation. It is difficult to apprise the quantitative outcome after executing negotiation. Thus, this study presented the Value Engineering -based process and model of estimating the outcome of negotiation for the purpose of estimating and verifying the result of negotiation objectively, Evaluating factors of negotiation were classified into 6 fields, 38 divisions and 135 items, focused on cultural facilities on BTL project. Weight of every factor was estimated, and quantitative checklist was established. This study presented the model which could measure the outcome of negotiation. This result would be a critical checklist before negotiation on BTL project, an index of feedback during negotiation, and also a standard of estimating the outcome after negotiation.
