정보보호 관점에서의 오픈뱅킹 수용도에 대한 영향요인 (Factors to Affect Acceptance of Open Banking from Information Security Perspectives)

  • Joint financial network of Korea Financial Telecommunications and Clearings Institute, which is an essential facility with a natural monopoly, maintained its closedness as monopoly/public utility model, but it has evolved in the form of open banking in order to obtain domestic fintech competitiveness in the rapidly changing digital financial ecosystem such as the acceleration of Big Blur. In accordance with digital transformation strategy of financial institutions, various ICT companies are actively participating in the financial industries, which has been exclusive to banks, through the link technology called Open API. For this reason, there has been a significant change in the financial service supply chain in which ICT companies participate as users. The level of security in the financial service supply chain is determined based on the weakest part of the individual components according to the law of minimum. In addition, there is a perceived risk of personal information and financial information leakage among the main factors that affect users' intention to accept services, and appropriate protective measures against perceived security risks can be a catalyst, which increases the acceptance of open banking. Therefore, this is a study on factors affecting the introduction of open banking to achieve financial innovation by developing an open banking security control model for financial institutions, as a protective measures to user organizations, from the perspectives of cyber financial security and customer information protection, respectively, and surveying financial security experts. It is expected, from this study, that effective information protection measures will be derived to protect the rights and interests of financial customers and will help promote open banking.

카노와 의사결정나무를 활용한 금융서비스 로봇의 품질속성 분석 : 은행지점 도입용 금융서비스 로봇 사례 (An Analysis of Service Robot Quality Attributes through the Kano Model and Decision Tree : Financial Service Robot for Introduction to Bank Branches)

  • A Kano model was used to classify the quality attributes of the service robot function for actual deployment that can support and replace bank employees. Quality attributes for a total of 6 dimensions and 23 service elements were divided into bank employees and customer groups, and service priorities were derived after comparative analysis. The Decision tree model was used to supplement the excessive simplification of quality attributes by the modest number of Kano models and to classify and predict by segment market. Of the 23 services, 16 were classified into the same attributes in both groups. 6 services classified as combination attributes used a Decision tree to identify differences in perception of quality attributes among groups. In terms of basic financial services and professional financial services, it was confirmed that bank employees feel financial service robots more attractive than ordinary customers. In the design of IT convergence service, we propose a methodology for deriving quality attributes by combining a Kano model for classifying quality attributes of two groups and a Decision tree for forecasting subdivision markets.

The Impact of Financial Inclusion on Economic Growth, Poverty, Income Inequality, and Financial Stability in Asia

  • As an effort to achieve sustainable development and increase people's welfare, financial inclusion has become the policy agenda of many countries. Therefore, the effect of financial inclusion on economic growth, poverty, income inequality, and financial stability in several countries in Asia has become the goal and this is the subject of this study. Financial inclusion is measured by 3 dimensions, namely banking penetration, access to banking services, and use of banking services. Poverty ratio below the national poverty line and the Gini coefficient are used as indicators of poverty and income inequality. Financial stability is measured by Bank Z-Score and bank nonperforming loans. The results from the hypothesis test shows that all dimensions of financial stability simultaneously have significant influence on economic growth, poverty, income inequality, and financial stability. On the other hand, the partial impact of financial inclusion dimension on economic growth, poverty alleviation, income inequality, and financial stability in ten countries of Asia has not been optimal. The derived results of this study is required to be interpreted and considered by the Governments of each country in developing strategies for increasing financial inclusion, so that the policy to achieve sustainable development and enhancement of people's welfare can be achieved.

금융서비스 실패가 소비자의 부정적 감정과 행동반응에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Failed Financial Services on Negative Emotion and Behavioral Responses)

  • While previous studies on service failures mainly focused on general services, this study examines the effects of failed financial services on the psychological process and behavioral responses of consumers. The important factors of financial service (relational benefits, convenience, branch satisfaction, product diversity, company stability, and product profitability) are regarded as antecedents in our model. We study how each factor of failed financial service affects the negative emotions of consumers through the attribution process and how these arising emotions influence their behavioral responses. Through path analysis, this study shows that failure of service factors of relational benefits, branch satisfaction, and convenience induces disappointment, with the mediation effect of external attribution. Meanwhile, failure of service factors of product diversity and product profitability induces regret, with the mediation effect of internal attribution. Disappointment leads to complaint behavior, and regret leads to switching behavior. Unlike previous studies, the present one considers the important factors of financial service and their effects on the affective and behavioral responses of consumers.

  • Financial technology, also known as FinTech, is one of the fast growing global businesses in since its inception in 2008. Fintech is a new economic industry, comprised of companies that adopted the latest technologies to provide more efficient financial services than the traditional financial services. Fintech companies are generally small to medium sized startups trying to disintermediate existing financial systems. FinTech companies can be differentiated in several areas, based on its business solutions and target customers. In Korea, the Peer-to-Peer (P2P) lending companies are the most prominent in the FinTech sector. P2P lending is a method of borrowing or lending money to individuals through online services without the use of an official financial institution as an intermediary. The P2P lending companies operate their services entirely online or mobile environment. Consequently, mobile P2P lending application users are dramatically increasing. Thus, it is worth evaluating the acceptance of the mobile apps of the P2P lending companies from a user's perspective. This paper discusses user acceptance of the mobile P2P lending apps, guided by the Technology Acceptance Model. We conclude that the users' acceptance of mobile P2P lending apps are significantly influenced by perceived ease of use, perceived usefulness, and user satisfaction. These in turn influenced their attitude towards using mobile P2P lending apps and intention to use.

XBRL을 활용한 기업정보공급사슬의 웹서비스 구현방안에 대한 연구 (A Framework for Enterprise Information Supply Chain Using XBRL Web Services)

  • We introduce about XBRL, eXtensible Business Reporting Language, which is widely accepted as the international standard language for business financial reporting. XBRL is a language for the electronic communication of business and financial data which is revolutionizing business reporting around the world. It provides major benefits in the preparation, analysis and communication of business information. It offers cost savings, greater efficiency and improved accuracy and reliability to all those involved in supplying or using financial data. XBRL is a kind of XML application based on the open Internet technologies. We propose a framework for enterprise information supply chain using XBRL Web services. A Web service is defined as a software system based on XML and designed to support interoperable machine-to-machine interaction over a network by the W3C. Web services are frequently just application programming interfaces (API) that can be accessed over a network, such as the internet and executed on a remote system hosting the requested services. An XBRL Web service-based enterprise information supply chain enables for companies to implement seamless information supply chains from businesses to financial institutions, to supervisory authorities, and to other stake holders for real time information access. And thereby it is expected to contribute to the increase in the value of companies due to the enhanced visibility and transparency of accounting and management.

외식 프랜차이즈 가맹본부의 사후 지원서비스가 가맹점의 관계품질과 경영성과에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Franchisor's On-going Support Services on Franchisee's Relationship Quality and Business Performance in the Foodservice Industry)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 국내 외식 프랜차이즈 시스템에서 가맹점에 대한 가맹본부의 관계품질에 영향을 미치는 변수를 사후 지원서비스로 설정하고, 사후 지원서비스가 가맹점의 관계품질(신뢰, 만족, 몰입)과 경영성과(재무적 성과, 비재무적 성과)에 미치는 영향에 대한 포괄적인 모형을 개발하는 것이다. 제안된 모형을 검증하기 위하여 서울 및 경기 지역의 외식 프랜차이즈 가맹점 경영자 500명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 하여, 구조방정식을 통해 실증 분석하였다. 분석결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 사후 지원서비스 요인 중 제품범주 및 가격 요인과 정보제공 및 문제해결 능력 요인은 가맹점의 만족과 몰입에만 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 물류지원과 슈퍼바이저 지원 요인은 신뢰와 만족에만 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 재교육 및 훈련지원 요인은 가맹점의 신뢰와 몰입에만 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 판매촉진 요인은 신뢰 만족, 그리고 몰입 모두에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯째, 관계품질요인들 간의 관계는 신뢰가 만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미치지만 몰입에는 직접적으로 영향을 미치지 못하고, 만족을 통해서 몰입에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 여섯째, 신뢰는 재무적 성과에만 긍정적인 영향을 미치고, 만족과 몰입은 재무적 성과와 비재무적 성과 모두에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 결과요약과 시사점, 그리고 연구의 한계점과 향후 연구방향이 제시되었다.

Delphi를 활용한 융합 서비스 설계에 관한 연구 : 은행지점 도입용 금융 서비스 로봇 사례 (Convergence Service Design Using Delphi Technique : Financial Service Robot for Introduction to Bank Branches)

  • This study applies the Delphi method to design services with convergence characteristics in the financial sector. In designing a service robot for practical deployment that can support and replace bank teller, the opinions and judgments of various expert groups were extracted and a consensus process was made through feedback. A total of six dimensions and thirty service elements were derived over three rounds. Coefficient of Variation and content validity were used to verify the suitability and reliability of the selected service elements. As a result, the essential service element of robots was interaction with customers, followed by basic and professional financial services. Based on these service factors, we proposed two types of service models. support mode to assist employees during business hours and alternative mode on behalf of employees outside business hours. It is hoped that this study will use the Delphi technique in the design of IT convergence services.

금융서비스 기업의 CSR 활동과 리스크 관리가 기업 이미지와 지속가능성에 미치는 영향 연구 (A Study on the Impact of CSR Activities and Risk Management on the Corporate Image and Sustainability of Financial Services Companies)

  • 과거와는 다르게 금리가 낮아지고, 지식이 보편화되는 등 금융서비스 기업의 CSR 활동과 관련된 환경이 변화하였으며, 글로벌 경제 불안, 규제 증가, 신기술에 따른 영업방식이 노출되는 등 금융서비스 기업의 리스크 관리를 위한 환경이 변화하였다. 본 연구는 금융서비스 기업 종사자를 대상으로 금융서비스 기업의 CSR 활동과 리스크 관리가 지속가능성에 미치는 영향과 기업 이미지의 매개효과를 검증하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 금융서비스기업의 CSR의 법적 책임과 재해리스크 및 전략리스크에 대한 관리는 지속가능성에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, CSR의 윤리적 책임, 재량적 책임, 운영리스크 및 재무리스크에 대한 관리는 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, CSR의 법적 책임, 재량적 책임, 재해리스크에 대한 관리가 기업 이미지와 지속가능성 사이에서 매개 역할을 하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 금융서비스 기업은 CSR의 법적 책임과 재해리스크에 대한 관리에 집중하여 경영할 때 기업의 이미지가 좋아지며 지속가능성이 향상됨을 알 수 있었다.

조세투명성에 협력하지 않는 국가에 대한 차별적 금융조치의 WTO GATS 합치성 - Argentina-Financial Services 상소기구보고서에 대한 분석을 중심으로 - (Discriminatory Financial Measures on Non-Cooperative Jurisdictions and their Compatibility with the WTO GATS: Focus on the Appellate Body Report on Argentina-Financial Services)

  • 이 사건은 아르헨티나가 적용한 금융 조세 외환 등록에 관한 8개의 조치가 서비스무역에 관한 일반 협정(General Agreement on Trade in Services) 하의 최혜국대우 의무, 내국민대우 의무 및 시장접근 보장 의무의 위반에 해당하는지에 관한 다툼이다. 이들 대상조치는 '조세 투명성에 협력하지 않는 국가'의 서비스 및 서비스 공급자와 '조세 투명성에 협력하는 국가'의 서비스 및 서비스 공급자를 달리 대우하는 조치이다. 아르헨티나는 대상조치가 "조세 목적을 위한 투명성 및 정보교환에 관한 글로벌포럼" 및 "국제자금세탁방지기구" 체제에 부합하며 GATS 제XIV조 및 금융서비스부속서의 예외규정에 의해 정당화된다고 주장하였다. 요컨대 이 사건은 정당한 정책목적을 달성하기 위한 규제를 채택할 국가의 권한과 이로 인해 발생하는 경쟁조건의 변화의 문제이며, GATS 전문에서 밝히고 있는 회원국의 권리와 의무 간 균형을 어떻게 맞추어야 할 것인지의 문제이다. 상소기구는 (i) 서비스 및 서비스 공급자의 동종성 심사, (ii) GATS 제II조 및 제XVII조 하의 불리하지 않은 대우 판정 심사, 그리고 (iii) 금융서비스부속서 제2(a) 항이 적용되는 조치의 범위에 대한 판단을 통하여 이러한 균형을 맞추고 있다. 이 글에서는 이 사건의 대상조치와 패널의 판정을 정리하여 배경을 제시한 후 상소기구 판정을 분석한다. 분석은 앞에서 언급한 주요 쟁점을 중심으로 하며 패널의 판정, 기존의 다른 WTO 판정례 및 연구논문 하에서의 논의와 어떠한 차이를 가지는지를 파악하여 그 의미를 논한다.
