This study analyzed the effects of small business CEO's competencies type on business performance. For this purpose, 4 independent variables(strategic, marketing, management and network competencies) and 2 dependent variables(financial and non-financial performance) were used. 220 data were collected from the field survey questionnaires administered to a convenience sample of small business CEO. For hypothesis testing, the IBM SPSS Statistics 24.0 was used. Frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, correlation analysis, and hierarchical regression analysis were conducted. Empirical studies showed as follows. First, this study showed that the four competencies were significant to financial performance and the three competencies(except management competencies) were significant to non-financial performance. The higher small business CEO's competencies, the more likely it affects both the financial and non-financial performance of the company. Second, effects of small business CEO's competencies on financial performance were analyzed in order of network competencies > management competencies > strategic competencies > marketing competencies. Third, effects of small business CEO's competencies on non-financial performance were analyzed in order of network competencies > marketing competencies > strategic competencies. These findings had some implications. In academia, the impact forces of 4 small business CEO's competencies were analyzed for the first time. In practices, successful start-ups or sustainable management requires an interest in the active enhancement of small business CEO's competencies.
Given the further promotion of economic globalization, China's financial market has also expanded. However, at present, this market faces substantial risks. The main financial and economic risks in China are in the areas of policy, credit, exchange rates, accounting, and interest rates. The current status of China's financial market is as follows: insufficient attention from upper management; insufficient innovation in the development of the financial economy; and lack of a sound financial and economic risk protection system. To further understand the current situation of China's financial market, we conducted a questionnaire survey on the financial market and reached the following conclusions. A comprehensive enterprise questionnaire from the government's perspective, the enterprise's perspective and the individual's perspective showed that the following problems exist in the financial and economic risk prevention aspects of big data and Internet of Things in China. The political system at the country's grassroots level is not comprehensive enough. The legal regulatory system is not comprehensive enough, leading to serious incidents of loan fraud. The top management of enterprises does not pay enough attention to financial risk prevention. Therefore, we constructed a financial and economic risk prevention model based on big data and Internet of Things that has effective preventive capabilities for both enterprises and individuals. The concept reflected in the model is to obtain data through Internet of Things, use big data for screening, and then pass these data to the big data analysis system at the grassroots level for analysis. The data initially screened as big data are analyzed in depth, and we obtain the original data that can be used to make decisions. Finally, we put forward the corresponding opinions, and their main contents represent the following points: the key is to build a sound national financial and economic risk prevention and assessment system, the guarantee is to strengthen the supervision of national financial risks, and the purpose is to promote the marketization of financial interest rates.

This study investigates how financial resources and entrepreneurial orientation (EO) may influence the performance of small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Twenty-seven interviews were conducted and evaluated using the method of GABEK® (A GAnzheitliche BEwältigung von Komplexität - holistic processing of complexity). The research demonstrated that access to financial resources has significantly mediated EO's effect on the SMEs' performance. The study found that financial autonomy, enhanced through both personal financing and availability of external finance sources, plays a central role in supporting the EO dimension of autonomy and enhancing the SMEs' performance. In particular, the other EO dimension of risk-taking is stymied by lack of funds with which to take commercial and market opportunities. However, when an innovation strategy is pursued and adopted, access to finance can be facilitated, either through financial institutions or through other governmental funding programs attracting high potential innovators. Furthermore, financial barriers, difficulties accessing bank financing, and legal issues have a detrimental impact on SMEs' growth. The study has implications for policy-makers in the UAE, specifically in terms of sending a signal for lending institutions to consider strategies that provide access to affordable financial services to satisfy SMEs' needs.
Purpose - As the interest of financial aria increase in economic change and labor market change, this study focused on the employee of the financial aria in Korea. The purpose of this study is to analyses relation among relationship variable and organizational culture variable and organizational effectiveness of financial aria employees in Korea. Research design, data, and methodology - This study measured relationship variable with communication and trust. And measured organizational culture variable with innovation, relation, hierarchy and rational. And measured organizational effectiveness with job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Empirical analysis is conducted using 442 financial aria employees of 7th HCCP in KRIVET. And SPSS is used in frequency and stepwise regression test and AMOS is used in path analysis with group differentiation test. Results - Overall results show that trust and relation culture give positive influence on job satisfaction. Organizational commitment results show that relation culture and rational culture give positive influence and also job satisfaction. However, hierarchy culture gives negative influence on organizational commitment. Also, the moderating effect of work characteristics is significant. Conclusions -Result of this study give managerial implication to HRM and also expend inflected organizational culture study to financial aria in Korea. Especially gives insight to relationship, organizational culture and organizational effectiveness. And management differentiation needs between work characteristic.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the quality of entrepreneurship - motivation, entrepreneurial orientation, and risk behavior - in relation to the odds of micro-, small- and medium-sized enterprises' (MSMEs) financial performance in Indonesia. Additionally, this paper investigates how these qualities apply for the current challenges perceived by MSMEs' entrepreneurs in Indonesia due to Covid-19 crisis; specifically, this paper examines the odds of MSMEs' financial performance during the pandemic in respect to when these qualities are implemented by the entrepreneurs. The empirical data was obtained from an online survey by means of a structured questionnaire. MSMEs surveyed were randomly selected on a national scale. To test the hypotheses, a quantitative approach is employed, using multinomial regression. The main result shows that, under normal economic environment, the more intrinsically-motivated and continuity-driven entrepreneur is, the more likely the MSME will achieve financial growth compared to remaining stagnant. To our surprise, innovativeness leads to less likelihood of MSME's financial growth, suggesting the significance of innovation does not apply to MSMEs in Indonesia. Lastly, MSMEs' risk behavior to operate in a stable business environment is found more likely to result in a better performance and is true for operational and financial risks, but not marketing risks.
Since the global financial crisis of 2008, the continuous development and innovation in technology-related fields such as information and communications technology (ICT) are likely to swim against the recession. In this paradoxical situation, the necessity of financial innovation through ICT is on the rise. For this reason, the appearance of Fintech is more meaningful as a new converged industry with the potential to lead financial innovation. The term of Fintech is derived from combining 'Finance' and 'Technology.' In South Korea, one of the most popular types of Fintech is mobile payment. KakaoPay, which is the first mobile easy payment service in Korea, is a much more simplified type of mobile payment service than ones used in the past, and is provided by the most popular mobile messenger service in Korea, KakaoTalk. However, KakaoPay has few active users in spite of its many advantages, which include convenience, simplicity, and a powerful platform. Thus, the main purpose of this paper is to investigate influencing factors of user resistance on KakaoPay. In order to investigate specific factors, a research model is developed based on the unified understanding of user resistance put forth by Laumer and Eckhardt (2012). After gathering online survey data from KakaoTalk users, an empirical analysis is conducted to verify this research model. The results of this study give insights regarding user resistance factors in the Fintech sector, and by so doing, it is expected that the important factors of user resistance could help the diffusion of new services when new mobile payment services appear in the near future.
Joint financial network of Korea Financial Telecommunications and Clearings Institute, which is an essential facility with a natural monopoly, maintained its closedness as monopoly/public utility model, but it has evolved in the form of open banking in order to obtain domestic fintech competitiveness in the rapidly changing digital financial ecosystem such as the acceleration of Big Blur. In accordance with digital transformation strategy of financial institutions, various ICT companies are actively participating in the financial industries, which has been exclusive to banks, through the link technology called Open API. For this reason, there has been a significant change in the financial service supply chain in which ICT companies participate as users. The level of security in the financial service supply chain is determined based on the weakest part of the individual components according to the law of minimum. In addition, there is a perceived risk of personal information and financial information leakage among the main factors that affect users' intention to accept services, and appropriate protective measures against perceived security risks can be a catalyst, which increases the acceptance of open banking. Therefore, this is a study on factors affecting the introduction of open banking to achieve financial innovation by developing an open banking security control model for financial institutions, as a protective measures to user organizations, from the perspectives of cyber financial security and customer information protection, respectively, and surveying financial security experts. It is expected, from this study, that effective information protection measures will be derived to protect the rights and interests of financial customers and will help promote open banking.

This study analyzed the effect of the operation system of human resource management. First, the primary operating direction of the goal, talent selection system, and personnel management personnel management affected almost all the performance variables. More than one primary goal of personnel management in the loyalty inspired workers more than the fixed labor costs, and external recruitment of short-term hiring favored internal training scheme for long-term employment, employee training, and development in the long term more than short-term performance improvement the more weight to quality and innovation in the productivity of labor, product and services, employee-driven innovation, reduce turnover, had a positive impact on labor relations. On the other hand, the primary goal of personnel management and personnel selection methods had a positive impact on financial performance. Personnel management operating direction did not significantly affect the financial results. Second, the main type of employee utilization affected the quality of products and services, and labor relations. Trying to take advantage of temporary workers more than regular workers had a positive impact on the quality of products and services, and labor relations. Third, the operating unit of Personnel Management had an impact on the degree of innovation of products and services. Both personal achievements and the performance of the operating units had a positive impact on the degree of innovation of products and services, more than teamwork and personnel management. This study provided practical implications for verifying the effect of detailed characteristics of human resource management on financial/non-financial business performance.

The study aims to investigate the determinant factors in the organisation of a firm's innovative activities, and the impact of innovation capability on firm's performance of electronic firms in Ho Chi Minh city, Vietnam. How is the performance of electronic companies after delivering an innovation project? How will innovation capability affect firm's performance in electronic companies? This study aims to seek the answer of these questions. We employ a Structural Equation Model and the PLS technique in order to validate the theoretical model proposed in this study. With observation of 374 valid firms, based on Cronbach's Alpha analysis, EFA analysis, CFA analysis and SEM analysis, this study discovers 5 groups of factors including: (i) Institution factors; (ii) Attitude of leadership factors; (iii) Marketing factors; (iv) Technological resources factors; (v) Combination factors, which have direct impact on innovation capability of firms. There are 4 groups of factors that have positive impacts on financial performance of electronic firms, with descending order of importance as follows: (1) Attitude of leadership factors; (2) Quality of human resources factors; (3) Innovation capability; (4) Marketing activities factors. Research results are important implications for Government administrative agencies for business to consult and introduce effective support policies.
