평판형 증발부를 갖는 루프히트파이프에 대해 박막이론을 적용한 해석적 모델링 (Analytical Modeling of a Loop Heat Pipe with a Flat Evaporator by Applying Thin-Film Theory)

  • 평판형 증발부를 갖는 루프히트파이프(LHP)에 대한 정상상태 해석모델을 제시하였다. 관련문헌의 고찰에 기초하여 LHP 의 주요 부분인 증발부, 액체저장조(보상챔버), 증기이송관, 액체이송관 및 응축부에서 온도와 압력을 예측할 수 있도록 계산과정을 제시하였으며, LHP 에서 유일하게 모세관 구조물을 가지는 증발부의 해석에 중점을 두었다. 증발부에서 액체 -기체 경계면 부근에서 압력과 온도의 영향을 고려하기 위해 박막이론을 사용하였으며, 수정된 기체분자운동이론에서 응축경계면 온도를 산정하는데 있어서 독특한 방법을 도입하였다. 응축부에서는 상변화 경계면을 단순화하여 처리함으로써 응축부 형상 변화에 상대적인 융통성을 구비하도록 하였다. 본 연구의 LHP 정상상태 해석 모델은 문헌 상의 실험결과에 의해 타당성이 증명되었다. 해석모델에 의한 예측치는 실험치와 비교할 때 절대온도를 기준으로 최대 상대오차 3% 이내로서 합리적으로 잘 일치하였다.

위티 이히마에라의 『고래 타는 사람』에 그려진 신화적 경계 허물기와 귀향 (Crossing Mythical Boundaries and Homing in Witi Ihimaera's The Whale Rider)

  • This study explores Witi Ihimaera's The Whale Rider (1987) from ecological and postcolonial perspectives. Ihimaera is one of the prominent Maori writers who have critically voiced their concerns about the fragmentation of Maori tradition and the alienation of an environmentally friendly culture in New Zealand. Throughout the novel The Whale Rider, with his mythic imagination and cultural sensitivity, Ihimaera raises ecological awareness in terms of environmental justice and promotes critical consciousness regarding sociocultural and histo-political realities of the Maori people as alienated others in their ancestors' land. Revolving around the developmental process of a young Maori girl named after a mythical Maori ancestor Kahutia Te Rangi also known as the Whale Rider to inherit the Maori leadership, the novel describes the historical, cultural, emotional landscape of the Maori community in the white-centered society of New Zealand. In particular, this paper analyzes the leaving and homing process of narrator Rawiri which is deeply embedded in Maori myth and philosophy toward an eco-friendly culture and postcolonial reality. Indeed, Ihimaera skillfully juxtaposes young man Rawiri's experience outside the Maori community and young girl Kahu's life at the Maori home. In the end, while Kahu achieves her destiny in a mythical way to foster a new vision of harmonious co-existence that is rooted in Maori heritage and compatible with Western culture, Rawiri comes to understand the interrelatedness of all existence and embraces both the rational knowledge of scientific empiricism and the traditional knowledge of spiritual experiences. The novel The Whale Rider was also turned into a film by New Zealand's most influential female film director Niki Caro in 2002, and the film Whale Rider received international acclaim.

패션필름의 유형화에 따른 특성 (Characteristics and Categorization of Fashion Films)

  • Unlike the past, when fashion brands adopted unilateral communication with their consumers, the brands today have recognized the importance of bi-lateral communication. This has led to the companies producing fashion films as a means to elicit a consensus in opinion between the brands and the consumers. Such fashion films should be understood as films using fashion that transcends time, and also as a type of fashion media. This study, which is based upon the understanding that fashion films are a part of strategic marketing for enhancing the value of brands, used domestic and international literature in order to define fashion films, and establish a theoretical basis for these films. Corroborative study was also conducted for the purpose of practical categorization. This study aims to investigate the characteristics of fashion films, and to suggest a new approach to the study of fashion films. The study adopted the research methodology used in Dudley Andrew's film theory in order to create a theoretical frame that can be used to categorize fashion films. The theory is of significance because it is the basis for the category of motion picture fashion film and media technology fashion film. The study on the categorization and the characteristics of fashion films based upon 6 sub-categories shows a consistent trend of fashion films. From the results, it can be inferred that the films contribute, in part, to the enhancement of brand value. Fashion films have shown rapid growth with the mixture of other media, and with the introduction of cutting-edge technology. Fashion films can be used as new marketing methods for the fashion brands in this digital age.

단감의 저온저장방법(低溫貯藏方法) 개발(開發)에 관(關)한 연구(硏究) (Development of Low-Temperature Storage Method of Sweet Persimmons)

  • This study was conducted to develop the long-tenn storage method to minimize the black spot occurred on the surface of persimmons stored in the films at low temperature. The storage experiments were done with different films and persimmon varieties at $0^{\circ}C$ storage condition for 5 months, and then the physical and chemical characteristics of persimmons were tested monthly. The results were as follows : 1. The film 160 made from zeolites showed highest performance in well storings sweet persimmons for 5 months, compared with other films by eyesight. The initial moisture condensation inside the films seemed to cause the black spots on persimmons, and the effect of the film holes was never significant to prevent the black spots. 2. The sugar content was ranged from $14^{\circ}Brix$ to $15^{\circ}Brix$ regardless of film types and persimmom varieties, and it changed little for storage of 5 months. 3. The decrease rate of persimmom weight in the film 160 and 180 was 0.3% for storage of 5 months, while those in other films reached to 2%. The decrease rate of persimmon weight was least in the film 160 and 180. 4. The hardness of Fuyu least decreased in the films 160 and 380. It was changed from 36 kg/cnf to 8-27 $kg/cm^2$, and that of Charyang was from 31 $kg/cm^2$ to 8-10 $kg/cm^2$ for storage of 5 months. The hardness of Charyang rapidly decreased as storage period increased. 5. The average rate of black spot(defect rate) of Fuyu measured by a computer image processing system was least in the film 160 by 0.5%, but those in other films was ranged from about 5% to 20% for storage of 5 months. The rate of black spot of Charyang was less than that of Fuyu among most of films. 6. The intensity, hue, and saturation in persimmon color changed according to storage period. Especially, the intensity of persimmon colors decreased as storage period increased, but it was least in the film 160. 7. An integrated long-term storage method of sweet persimmons was suggested in the basis of the experiments and literature reviews.

영화의 공동감상과 사회적 가치 창출 - 일본의 커뮤니티 시네마를 중심으로 (The collective appreciation of film and the creation of social value - Community cinema in Japan)

  • 본 논문은, 일본의 커뮤니티 시네마의 역사적 발전과정에 대한 문헌고찰을 바탕으로 영화공동감상을 기반으로 한 사회적 가치창출과정의 특징을 분석한다. 일본에서는 영상매체의 디지털화, 매체공간의 개인화가 증가한 21세기 현대사회에서도 비상업극장 및 비극장상영에서 공동감상의 문화가 유지되고 있다. 그리고 이러한 감상환경을, '커뮤니티 시네마'라는 이름으로 통합하여 지원하는 일본 커뮤니티 시네마 센터도 설립·운영되고 있다. 연구의 결과, 커뮤니티 시네마의 특징은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 비극장상영 단체나 감상단체가 시민과 협력하여 영화관을 설립·운영한다. 둘째, 공동 감상을 운영하는 단체나 기관의 대규모 연계를 통해 영화문화를 이해하고 영화문화운동에 참여할 관객을 육성하는 이론적 · 실천적 · 참여적 학습기회를 만든다. 셋째, 공동감상을 기반으로 하여 관객이 주도하는 영화문화 환경을 정비하여 공동성을 실감하는 사회적 장을 만들고 나아가 영화와 사회문제해결을 융합하는 영화의 사회적 활용을 도모한다.

현대 패션에 나타난 스타의 신체 이미지에 대한 시뮬라시옹 연구 (The Body Images of Stars in the Screens by Linked with the Fashion in the Based on the Jean Baudrillard's Theory)

  • Today people obtain much information about appearances through movies. The stars' body images in movies have been created through total fashion as they play the roles of an ideal model to create actual body images. This study examined the relations between the body images in the film media in terms of appearances or total fashion and actual body images based on the simulation theory by Jean Baudrillard. It conducted a literature study by collecting and analyzing film media-related picture images from books, papers, periodicals and the Internet home and abroad. The research scope was limited to the stars who made appearances in movies and the ones who starred in movies in addition to their other lines of work. As a result, the following conclusions were drawn; the stars' body images went hyperreal between their actual body images and the ones of their roles in movies and then were simulated in fashion. To be specific, 1. the stars' actual body images went hyperreal and were simulated in fashion in the following cases; 1) the stars in the heyday of film; 2) fashionistas; and 3) pictures taken by paparazzi. 2. The body images of their roles went hyperreal in the following cases; 1) through brand participation; 2) through changed body images; and 3) through cyber body images. Their body images became hyperreal and were simulated in fashion by the input of fashion designers and the techniques of other areas. The body images in film are the object of desire to the audience. They go hyperreal and become the ideal body image to real people. The various kinds of hyperreal images in the film media create new beauty as a reference and object of comparison for people to change their body images in reality.

영화 속에 내재된 이중적 의미 : 영화 "향수"를 중심으로 (Double Meaning Inherent in the Film : focused on the Movie "Perfume")

  • 영화 속에 내재된 이중적 의미는 문학에서 말하는 중의법(重義法)과 같은 맥락으로 해석된다. 중의법이란 어느 한 단어나 문장이 두 가지 이상의 의미로 해석될 때를 말한다. 영화에서도 한 인물의 행동이나 소도구 혹은 의상이 의미하는 바가 두 가지 이상의 의미를 가지고 관객과 대면한다. 프랑스의 유명 감독 프랑수아 오종은 "감독은 언제나 자기가 만든 최신작에 역행하는 영화를 만들어야 한다."고 했다. 이 말의 의미는 영화는 개혁을 추구하지 않으면 안 된다는 감독의 철학이다. 영화가 금기를 깨야한다는 것은 사실 영화정신의 밑바탕이기도 하다. 영화는 항상 금기에 도전했고 진보를 선도했다. 서양 영화의 금기는 우리나라의 도덕과 윤리수준과는 좀 더 치열한 부분이 존재한다. 그들의 금기는 기독교의 신성과 정통성을 부정하는 일이다. 특히 예수 그리스도의 신성을 부정하는 영화가 많은 사람들에게 회자되면서 갑론을박을 끌어내기에 충분했다. 본 연구에서 톰 튀크베어 감독의 영화 "향수"를 텍스트로 선택하여 이 영화 속의 고도의 치밀하고 전략적인 이중적 내용을 파헤쳐 관객을 교묘히 기만한 서양의 금기를 분석하고자 한다.

단일 가열봉의 재관수 시 2상유동 및 벽면 열전달에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental investigation of two-phase flow and wall heat transfer during reflood of single rod heater)

  • Two-phase flow and heat transfer characteristics during the reflood phase of a single heated rod in the KHU reflood experimental facility were examined. Two-phase flow behavior during the reflooding experiment was carefully visualized along with transient temperature measurement at a point inside the heated rod. By numerically solving one-dimensional inverse heat conduction equation using the measured temperature data, time-resolved wall heat flux and temperature histories at the interface of the heated rod and coolant were obtained. Once water coolant was injected into the test section from the bottom to reflood the heated rod of >700℃, vast vapor bubbles and droplets were generated near the reflood front and dispersed flow film boiling consisted of continuous vapor flow and tiny liquid droplets appeared in the upper part. Following the dispersed flow film boiling, inverted annular/slug/churn flow film boiling regimes were sequentially observed and the wall temperature gradually decreased. When so-called minimum film boiling temperature reached, the stable vapor film between the heated rod and coolant was suddenly collapsed, resulting in the quenching transition from film boiling into nucleate boiling. The moving speed of the quench front measured in the present study showed a good agreement with prediction by a correlation in literature. The obtained results revealed that typical two-phase flow and heat transfer behaviors during the reflood phase of overheated fuel rods in light water nuclear reactors are well reproduced in the KHU facility. Thus, the verified reflood experimental facility can be used to explore the effects of other affecting parameters, such as CRUD, on the reflood heat transfer behaviors in practical nuclear reactors.

영화 <동주>(2015)에 표상된 윤동주 시 활용양상 연구 (A Study on the Use Pattern of Yun Dong-Ju in the movie )

  • 본 연구는 이준익 감독의 2015년작 <동주>를 통해서 영화에서 시 텍스트가 어떻게 활용되며, 이로써 어떠한 서사적이고도 영상적 효과를 얻어내었는가를 검토한다. 이 영화는 시인 윤동주를 중심인물로 내세우고, 그의 생애를 재구성하는 내용을 선택하고 있다. 영화 <동주>에서는 윤동주의 시를 영화의 서정성을 극대화하는 장치이자, 인물의 운명과 내면의 변화를 암시하는 방식으로 활용하였다. 즉, 영화 <동주>는 윤동주의 시를 활용함으로써, 영화 속 인물의 내적 변화와 감성을 미적으로 수준 높게 형상화 한다. 그리고 이를 통해 시인 윤동주를 평범한 문학청년으로 조명함으로써, 문학책 속에 박제되어 있던 윤동주를 고뇌하는 청춘의 한 표상으로 이미지화한다. 이는 현재의 청년들이 겪고 있는 현실의 무게에 대한 위로이자, 역사를 살아가는 한 개인의 문제를 조망한 것이기도 하다. 이러한 측면에서 영화 <동주>는 영상 매체를 통해 시와 시인의 초상, 그리고 시인의 시대를 다채롭게 그려낸 주요한 텍스트라 할 수 있다. 영상과 함께 전달되는 문자 텍스트로서의 '시'는 영상의 서정성을 더욱 극대화하였으며, 높은 미학적 성취까지로 이어졌다. 시와 시인을 통해 역사와 개인, 문학과 현실이라는 문제에 접근하고 있는 주요한 텍스트라 평가할 수 있다.

미국적 신화의 관점에서 본 SF영화의 관객성 -『스타워즈』와 『심슨가족』의 "우주비행사 호머"를 중심으로 (American Myth and the Spectatorship of SF Films: Reviewing Star Wars and "Deep Space Homer" of The Simpsons)

  • The science fiction was established as a typical genre of the American popular culture by the monumental releases of two series: Star Wars and Star Trek. Based on the popular science discourse, these two series have functioned as an ideological apparatus for re-appropriating Frontierism which reflects the essential values of American myth. Arguably, the SF genre owes its success mainly to the increasing popularity of science during the 1960s and 1970s, which was well represented in the space project of NASA. This power of popular science, however, tended to weaken in the 1990s as the public interest in NASA's project gradually decreased. "Deep Space Homer," an episode of The Simpson's fifth season, reflects the changing attitude of the American audience toward the new American hero created in the SF series of popular science in the previous popular culture.
