The paper presents extensive survey and review of experimental and analytical researches on fluid film bearings and squeeze film dampers (SFDs) for turbomachinery available in open literature (major archival international journals) published recently (2018 and 2019 only). Over 60 published research works are reviewed based on the research topics and objectives, the types of bearings, size of bearings, and main design parameters with a brief summary of experiments and/or predictions in each work. Some important findings and general observations about the experimental and/or predictive data are also presented. There are several major trends observed throughout the survey. A large portion of the papers focuses on bearing surface textures and effect of operating and assembly conditions on static and/or dynamic forced performances, as well as bearing surface roughness and wear patterns. Researches on geometry of orifices and recesses in hydrostatic (or hybrid) bearings, as well as bearing system stability predictions using thermohydrodynamic analysis and computational fluid dynamics (CFD), are considered as significant topics. Studies on SFDs mainly focus on experimental identification of force coefficients for various SFD geometries and sealing conditions. Reliable experiments of fluid film bearings and SFDs along with the development of experimentally benchmarked predictive tools enable reinforcement of the path for reliable implementations of the bearing components into high performance rotating machinery operating at extreme and harsh conditions. The extensive list of sources of recent experiments in the available open literature is a welcome addition to the analytical community to gauge the accuracy of predictive tools.

Drying process in the cylindrical thin film layer of sludge with the thickness less than a few millimeters has been investigated. Thin film drying is specially designed and used to dry the viscous materials like sewage sludge. The thin film layer of sludge is dried on the metallic cylindrical surface through which thermal energy is supplied to the layer during drying. The wall temperature is assumed to be constant during drying in the present study for the simplification. In order to solve the equations, the mass transfer rate on the drying surface should be determined. The mass flux of evaporated water vapor on the surface is estimated with the formulation given in the literature. The effect of some physical parameters on drying has been examined to figure out the drying characteristics of the sludge layer.

This syudy analyzed the main bodies, marginal space, Position of the main bodies of current textbooks in high schools and "the eriteria of reading system for textbooks" which was suggested the Department of Education and Provided some suggestions for the improvement. The research methods used for the study were both literature review and survey rdsdarch with a questionaire. Inorder to research for the main body of textbook, space of margin, the optimum position of the main body, sizes of litters, spaces between letters, words, lines, length of lines, sizes of main body and margin, and margin and position of main body were checked through a related literature review. For the questionaire experiment, a questionaire based on data drawn from analysis of current textbooks, :criteria for reading system of textbook" suggested by the Department of Education, and some suggestions for improvement by the researcher was made and used for the test, targetting 384 body and girl student in high schools.n high schools.

An outsider's perspective is often illuminating and enlightening, as he or she perceives the world differently from us, and sees things that insiders tend to miss. While an outsider's views are fresh and penetrating, an insider's vision is often banal and myopic. Although outsiders' perspectives may not be quite right at times, they always shed light and provide insight, allowing us to reevaluate the conventional interpretations of our literature and folktales. In order to prevent our own understanding and knowledge from growing stale and narrow-minded, we should endeavor to consider outsiders' opinions and view all things from multiple angles. When reading literary or cultural texts, therefore, we need to read through others' eyes because it provides alternative perspectives. And we should learn to co-exist with others and see things from others' eyes. In his celebrated novel, My Name Is Red, Orhan Pamuk, the Turkish Nobel Laureate, explores the themes of clashes between the East and the West, the young and the old, and conservatism and radicalism. The confrontation between the stubborn defenders of tradition and the self-righteous innovators ultimately results in bigotry, hatred and murder. As Pamuk aptly perceives in his novel, the inevitable outcome of such uncompromising conflict is degradation of humanity and annihilation of human civilization. That is precisely why we need to embrace others who are different from us and learn to look through others' eyes. Sometimes, we fear other voices and different perspectives. As the movie "The Others" suggests, however, there is no reason for us to be afraid of others.

The copper film coated by Sn is often used in various applications such as LCD, Mobile Phone and etc. Especially, when the film is used as tape carrier package(TCP) of LCD panel, the film is repeatedly applied by mechanical or(and) thermal stress and then is often failed. Therefore, to guarantee the reliability of the electrical devices using the film, the tensile and fatigue characteristics of the film are important. In this study, to obtain the tensile and fatigue characteristics of the film, the specimen was fabricated by etching process to make a smooth specimen of 2000 ${\mu}m$ width, 8000 ${\mu}m$ length and 15.26 ${\mu}m$ thickness. The 2 kinds of specimen were fabricated by other manufacturing process. These specimens had values of Young's modulus(80.2GPa) lower than literature values(108${\sim}$145GPa) for bulk values, but had high values of the yield and ultimate strength as 317MPa and 437MPa, respectively. And fatigue test of load-control with 20Hz frequency was performed.

연상호 감독의 단편 애니메이션 <창, 2012>은 군의 폭력성을 드러내는 시사고발 내용으로 많은 이들의 공감과 성찰을 유도하였다. 이는, 사회고발적 주제를 통해 오락성이 아닌 공익을 위한 애니메이션의 사회적 가치의 가능성을 보여준다 하겠다. 이에, 본 연구는 애니메이션을 통해 시사고발 영화 기능이 어떻게 구현되는지 서사적 구성과 연출 특성에 대해 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위한 연구의 전개는 첫째, 문헌과 사례를 중심으로 시사고발 영화의 의의와 일반적 특성에 대해 고찰한다. 둘째, 앞선 문헌연구를 바탕으로 분석기준을 도출하고, 셋째, 애니메이션 단편 영화 <창>에 대해 시사고발적 기능, 연출적 특성, 애니메이션 표현기법을 중심으로 사례연구를 진행한다. 본 연구를 통해 <창, 2012>은 군내부의 위계적, 폐쇄적 특성으로 인해 역사적, 사회적 이슈를 다루는 일반 시사고발 영화와는 다른 특성이 드러났으며, 또한, 연상호 감독의 독창적인 서사적, 연출적 기법이 애니메이션을 통해 시사고발기능을 효과적으로 구현함을 알 수 있다.

장예모 감독의 영화 ≪영≫은 중국전통문화상징을 다양하게 인용하여 시각적 효과를 높이는 반면, 스토리구성에 있어서는 대량의 현대문화상징의 내용을 인용하였다. 그러므로 그의 작품은 전통시각적인 느낌과 현대스토리내용을 모두 구비하였다. 의상과 장신구에서는 전통을 추구하였고 역사를 숭상하는데 충실하였으며 스토리구성에 있어서는 객관성 및 엄숙성을 담보하는 역사소설과 차별을 두었다고 할 수 있다. 가공문학해소로 역사를 새로 쓰고 더 나아가 역사에 대해 풀이함으로써 의도적으로 역사와 일정한 거리감 혹은 잘못된 관계를 유지하고 있다. 장예모 감독의≪영≫영화는 이러한 가공문학의 언사실천을 구사하였다. 영화는 역사를 시적으로 표현하는 한편 한 사람의 마음을 서사하였다. 예전의 영화제작과정에서 원작스토리에 충실하고자 했던 것에 반해 장예모의 ≪영≫은 (2018)제작 당시 원작 ≪삼국·정주≫의 작가 주수진의 동의하에 소설에 큰 변화를 주었다. 그 중에서도 제일 눈에 띄는 부분은 영화에서 원작의 설정을 과감하게 버리고 스토리의 시대배경을 허구적으로 구상해 냄으로써 가공문학을 완성시킨 것이다. 이는 결코 역사 문학의 언사실천은 아니다. 동시에 시각효과에 있어서 중국전통문화인 수묵 등 문화원소를 대량으로 인용하여 새로운 시각효과와 문화체험을 안겨주었다.

Fashion brands communicate with consumers through the use of fashion films that are effective in the delivery of the image. This is because digital media (such as fashion films) are popular and accessible as well as effective in attracting people's attention. The reasons why fashion films have become a new fashion media among many others is becuase they are based on an existing platform. This study will examine offline platforms of fashion film: flagship store, fashion exhibition, and fashion show. The offline platform of a fashion film is a physical space where a fashion film can be exhibited and viewed as a medium that can effectively convey fashion film to consumers. As a research method, the concept of an offline platform of fashion film is established based on a literature review of fashion films and platform that is followed by an empirical case study. The study results show that the offline platform of a fashion film is in the progress of turning into an autotelic space where the consumption of such culture as cinema and theater has become possible.

The purpose of this study is to re-read the film of Dead Poets Society, specially focused on a feminist view. The film hides the strategy of recovering the traditional Patriarchal Society. At the beginning, the film resists the values of traditional society through John Keating. His unorthodox methods of teaching literature smack against the traditions of Welton Academy. Furthermore, he stresses on "Carpe Diem"—Seize the Day, the romantic values of free thinking, creativity, and individuality. The forces opposing Keating's philosophy are personified by Welton's rigid, old headmaster, Mr. Nolan, and the cruel, stubborn parent, Mr. Perry. Keating's romantic values are failed by their powerful, dominating attitudes. Effected by Keating's philosophy, Neil decides to pursue acting rather than medicine. He conflicts with his strict father. Finally frustrated by his authority, Neil commits suicide. And Keating is accused of inciting the boys to restart the Dead Poets Society, and at last he is fired. Keating and Neil are victimized by the Patriarchal society. Even though the film concentrates male characters at the all boys' school, it reveals the male angle of binary oppositions between men and women, subject and object, activity and passivity, presence and absence. In the film's dramatic conclusion, English class is now being temporarily taught by Nolan, who has the boys read from the very Pritchard essay they had ripped out at the start of the film. It symbolizes the triumph of the traditional logocentric society. However, influenced by Keating's unconventional attitudes, ultimately Welton Academy will be changed as it is embodied in its closing scene.
