In this study, we peformed ahead a field geological investigation, boring investigation for slope stability analysis in large scale slope failure area. But the geological stratum was not clearly grasped, because ground was very disturbed by large scale Granite intrusion. Furthermore, the existing test data was not pertinent to the large scale Granite intrusion site like here. Therefore, various kind of field test were performed to grasp clearly for geological stratum. And the results of back analysis, various kind tests used to slope stability analysis.

The properties of a scale-free network are little known; its node degree following a power-law distribution is among its few known properties. By selecting real-field scale-free networks from a network dataset and comparing them to other networks, such as random and non-scale-free networks, the topology characteristics of scale-free networks are identified. The assortative coefficient is identified as a key metric of a scale-free network. It is also identified that most scale-free networks have negative assortative coefficients. Traditional generation models of scale-free networks are evaluated based on the identified topology characteristics. Most representative models, such as BA and Holme&Kim, are not effective in generating real-field scale-free networks. A link-rewiring method is suggested that can control the assortative coefficient while preserving the node degree sequence. Our analysis reveals that it is possible to effectively reproduce the assortative coefficients of real-field scale-free networks through link-rewiring.
This study investigated the effect and interrelationship of evaluation system in employee's job satisfaction at deluxe hotel kitchen in the Seoul area. The questionnaires developed for this study were distributed to 400 chefs during June to August, 2012. A total of 364 questionnaires were used for analysis (91.0%) and the statistical analysis was completed using PASW (SPSS) 18. The status of operating menu evaluation and menu development was analyzed by dividing the questionnaires into three categories: 'menu idea', 'menu evaluator' and 'menu evaluation system'. The 'menu idea' category showed the highest concern for 'Is the selected idea differentiated from competitors' menu?' (3.10 Likert scale), the 'menu evaluator' category showed the highest concern for 'Do the evaluator's individual factors affect menu evaluation?' ($3.88{\pm}0.96$), and the 'menu evaluation system' showed the highest concern for 'Is the menu commercialized by the menu evaluation system?' (3.32 Likert scale). Overall job satisfaction was studied into three categories: 'human field', 'material field' and 'evaluation field'. Overall satisfaction about one's job was 3.24 Likert scale. For satisfaction in each category, satisfaction for 'human field' was the highest with 3.30 Likert scale compared to 'material field' and 'evaluation field' with 2.76 Likert scale and 3.27 Likert scale, respectively. In conclusion, establishment of a unified evaluation system to improve employee's job satisfaction related to menu development is needed.
Stochastic nature of subgrid-scale stress causes the predictability problem in large eddy simulation (LES) by which the LES solution field decorrelates with field from filtered directnumerical simulation (DNS). In order to evaluate the predictability limit in a priori sense, the information on the interplay between resolved scale and subgrid-scale (SGS) is required. In this study, the analysis on the inter-scale interaction is performed by applying tophat and cutoff filters to DNS database of flow over a circular cylinder at Reynolds number of 3900. The effect of filter shape is investigated on the interpretation of correlation between scales. A critique is given on the use of tophat filter for SGS analysis using DNS database. It is shown that correlations between Karman vortex and SGS kinetic energy drastically decrease when the cutoff filter is used, which implies that the small scale universality holds even in the presence of the large scale coherent structure.
The dynamic characteristic of bogie that is driving system of railway vehicle is very important regarding decision of vehicle characteristics as running safety and comport. The dynamic characteristic test of bogie is tested on full size in place on field testing on track. But, the testing on the full size caused many problems. To overcome these problem by full size test, the Railway Safety Research Center in Seoul National University of Science & Technology developed 1/5 scale size of small scale derailment simulator and is currently testing running stability of 1/5 scaled bogie. Also To take effectively advantage of running stability test using small scale derailment simulator in actuality design and reliability estimation, it is necessary comparison and examination with field test and theoretical analysis result In this paper. to achieve running stability analysis of 1/5 scaled bogie on small scale derailment. the program using MATLAB that is fast compose and analysis the motion equation of Saemaul power bogie is developed. It is achieved analysis according to various specification (weight, size, suspension, etc..) and is evaluated corelation between test result and dynamic characteristic of actual railway vehicle.
A reliable concrete constitutive material model is critical for an accurate numerical analysis simulation of reinforced concrete structures under extreme dynamic loadings including impact or blast. However, the formulation of concrete material model is challenging and entails numerous input parameters that must be obtained through experimentation. This paper presents a damage scale analytical model to characterize concrete material for its pre- and post-peak behavior. To formulate the damage scale model, statistical regression and finite element analysis models were developed leveraging twenty existing experimental data sets on concrete compressive strength. Subsequently, the proposed damage scale analytical model was implemented in the finite element analysis simulation of a reinforced concrete pier subjected to vehicle impact loading and the response were compared to available field test data to validate its accuracy. Field test and FEA results were in good agreement. The proposed analytical model was able to reliably predict the concrete behavior including its post-peak softening in the descending branch of the stress-strain curve. The proposed model also resulted in drastic reduction of number of input parameters required for LS-DYNA concrete material models.
Seismic analysis methods in use on ground structure are equivalentstatic analysis, response-displacement method and dynamic analysis etc. Equivalentstatic analysis does not considerdynamic effect, and dynamic analysis process is very complex. then 'Urbanrail transit earthquake-resistance design standard (2005.06)' is persuading that analyze by response displacement method that consider enough dynamic effect of ground structure statically. But, It is very complex and difficult to apply response-displacement method in the field. So, modified equivalentstatic analysis or pseudo static analysis that is easy to apply in the field and have rationality of design is practically used. In this study, I try to prescribe the applicable scale of structure and static analysis that have calculative effectiveness about response-displacement method by comparing and analyzing the result of each analysis method according to the scale of urban rail transit' box type concrete structure and by performing seismic analysis that apply modified equivalentstatic analysis, pseudo static analysis and response-displacement method changing the kind of ground, depth of bedrock, size of structure.

In this study, slope stability analysis of LCRS(Leachate Collection Removel System) in waste landfill was peformed by large scale field test. Geocomat is new type of geocomposite product. Gecomat is a sort of Geocomposite product. It is composed of nonwoven geotextiles, woven geotextile, and geonet. Large scale field tests were performed on the slope of different two LCRSsections with static loading condition. One is LCRS section witch consist of GCL, HDPE and Geocomat, another is GCL, HDPE, and woven type geocomposite. The behavior of geosynthetics lined slope was monitored by incorporating instrumentation including vertical soil pressure meter, settlement plate, strain gauges, potential meter, displacement pin.. Based on the field monitoring, the Geocomat LCRS section is less sliding than the conventional geocomposite LCRS section.
A program analysis of a large-scale open-source software repository has a significant meaning in that it allows us to examine the changes and improvements of the software in repositories, and this brings more reliable results based on a large amount of programs. In this paper, we introduce a new static analysis framework WALABOA, which enables a scalable static analysis of large-scale software repositories. In addition, we show new findings from applying WALABOA, together with a module comparing the analysis results from a static analysis and a dynamic analysis, in evaluation of the field-based analysis, one of JavaScript static analysis techniques used in WALA.

Traditional forms of river and coastal structures have become very expensive to build and maintain, because of the shortage of natural rock. Geotextile tubes hydraulically or mechanically filled with dredged materials have been applied in hydraulic and coastal engineering in recent years(shore protection structure, detached breakwater, groins and jetty). Recently, new preliminary design criteria supported by model and prototype tests, and some stability analysis calculations have been studied. In this study, the numerical analysis was performed to investigate the behavior of geotextile tube with various properties of geotextile and hydraulic pumping conditions. Numerical analysis was executed to compare with the results from the large-scale field model tests, and also compared the results of 2-D plane strain analysis and 3-D FEM analysis. A geotextile tube was modeled using the commercial finite element analysis program ABAQUS and the one-quarter of tube was modeled. Behavior of geotextile tube during the hydraulic pumping procedure was analyzed by comparing the large-scale field model test and numerical analysis. The shape variation and maximum tube height between the numerical analysis results and large-scale filed test results are turned out to be a good agreement.
