해양전력계통에서 한류 리액터 적용에 관한 연구 (A study on applications of current limiting reactor in marine electrical power systems)

  • 조선해양 및 플랜트 분야에서의 전력계통 구성은 분산 배치된 각각의 발전모선을 전기적으로 연결하여 사용한다. 이러한 방식은 다중화 된 모선이라기보다는 육상에서의 계통 연계와 동일한 개념으로 인식하는 것이 적합할 것이다. 이는 발전모선의 추가로 인하여 모선의 단락용량 또한 비례적으로 증대되기 때문이다. 단락용량의 증가는 관련 제반 비용의 상승을 초래하고 전기적 고장 발생 시에 물리적으로 연결된 모선들이 일시에 대정전(Blackout)을 발생시킬 가능성도 높아진다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 본 논문에서는 한류 리액터가 적용된 조선해양 전력계통에서 발전모선을 위상구조(Bus Topology)에 따라 분류하고 고장 종류 별로 단락전류 해석을 수행하였으며 그 결과를 상호 비교하여 장단점을 제시하였다.

운행시간 및 수요 기반 버스 최적배차간격 산정에 관한 연구 (Optimal Headways of Urban Bus Services, Reflecting Actual Cycle Time and Demand)

  • 본 연구는 현실 적용성을 고려한 버스 최적 배차간격 모형 구축을 통해 현실적 운행계획 작성에 기여하고자 한다. 부산시가 제시한 시내버스 운행계획의 적정성 검토를 통해, 배차간격 및 운행시간이 현실적 여건을 고려하지 않고 계획되어 있음을 파악하였다. 이에 실제 도로 여건과 운행환경을 고려한 운행시간 제약조건과 해당 노선의 수요 충족을 위한 시간대별 배차간격 도출 모형을 구축하였고 부산시 10번과 27번 노선을 사례로 모형의 적용성을 검증하였다. 본 연구는 교통카드 및 BIMS (Bus Information Management System)가 제공하는 방대한 자료(Big-Data)로부터 필요 정보를 추출하였으며, 그 과정에서 분석에 필요한 자료와 정보 추출 과정도 요약 제시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 현실적 운행계획 작성과 향후 보다 정밀한 여건을 고려한 연구에 기여할 것으로 기대한다.

CSF(Color Selection Field)를 통한 버스 도장공장의 생산비용 개선 (Cost Improvement for a Bus Painting Shop by Introducing a Color Selection Field)

  • As the customer's needs for diverse colors, the process of bus painting shop is becoming more and more complex. In particular, frequent changes of paint colors in each spray process require the cleaning of the painting nozzles and setting them up for the new paints, which results in increased time and cost and reduced production. This also increases environmental influences. This paper proposes, as a solution to this issue, the use of color selection field (CSF). CSF is physically a system of conveyors that are used to rearrange objects in a flow line. CSF is proposed, in this paper, to be introduced right before the spray process so that buses are better grouped according to their desired colors. Various parameters of the CSF, such as the number of conveyors and algorithms to determine the rearranged sequence of buses, have been determined by running simulations using the digital manufacturing technology, and investigating the simulation results. As an outcome of the proposed solution, the CSF system is expected to reduce approximately 30% of the nozzle cleaning cost for a Korean motor company case, which will not only benefit the company economically, but will also benefit the environment.

Field Bus로서의 BITBUS Network에 대한 성능 연구 (A Study on the Performance of BITBUS Network as a Field Bus)

  • With the increasing complexity of cabling at sensory level in process control and manufacturing automation, field buses were introduced to replace the traditional point to point links from each sensor or acruator to its controlling equipments by a single link on which all information is transmitted seriall and multiplexed in time. In this papr, we introduce the BITBUS network as a field bus. For the service discipline of the BITBUS network, two service strategies are proposed to obtain the performance of the network. They are the equal priority cyclic service strategy and the non-equal priority cyclic service strategy. The former assigns equal priority to each node for polling and the latter assumes non-equal priority. The BITBUS network was modeled as a cyclic queueing model and it is analyzed by two methods: the Kuehn's and the Boxma's. Computer simulation was also done for the cyclic queueing model and simulation results were compared with those. Under mathematically non-analyzable environment, only the computer simulation was done. From the simulation result, in order to meet the response time requirement of 5 msec imposed by International Electrotechnical Commission when each node has the average traffic of 5000 messages/sec in manufacturing automation the number of slave nodes should be smaller than 10 at the transmission rate of 2.5 Mbps.

  • In this paper describe configuration about QCM system for image processing device. It presents that QCM's image processing board video from the camera recognized by the PLC's battery removable exact location coordinates to the robot image processing technology to deliver. In addition, QCM video image processing technology for improved data reliability is described. In this paper define the landmarks of battery for obtaining the location coordinates and verify battery the location coordinates acquisition process from field tests of the QCM/QTPE-BUS Battery Exchange System.

데이터 충돌을 고려한 네트워크형 분산 제어 시스템 (Network Type Distributed Control System with Considering Data Collision)

  • Network type distributed control system uses a communication line which is named the BUS to exchange a data among the sub-systems. Usually, on the bus, only one data must be exited at one time, so the control algorithm to prevent collision or to manage a priority of data is important. Including CAN Protocol, many kind of FieldBus which are used for distributed control system, prevent data collision by controlling transmission time. But, a system which have to make a control signal or get a data from a sensor at fixed time will be met a problem when it is composed by using a network type distributed control structure. In this paper, some of these cases will be discussed and solutions be proposed for preventing a data collision. Also, using Arago Disk System which have a structure for inner loop control, the validity of the proposed methods will be verified.

  • As vehicles become more intelligent for safety and convenience of drivers, in-vehicle networking systems such as controller are network (CAN) have been widely used due to increasing number of electronic control unit (ECU). Recently, FlexRay was developed to replace CAN protocol in chassis networking systems, to remedy the shortage of transmission capacity and unsatisfactory real-time transmission delay of conventional CAN. However, it is difficult for vehicle network designers to calculate platform configuration registers (PCR) and determine a base cycle or slot length of FlexRay. To assist vehicle network designers for designing FlexRay cluster, this paper presents automatic field bus exchange format (FIBEX) generation algorithm from CANdb information, which is de-facto standard database format for CAN. To design this program, structures of FIBEX, CANdb and relationship among PCR variables are analyzed.

  • Integration of intelligent robot workcell is now a hot issue in CIM and robotics area. This paper dealt with relatively low level essential topics. i. e., multi-robot coordination and real-time communication for the integration of intelligent robot workcell. For the coordination of multi-robot system, the tightly-coupled coordination is proposed using the various sensors. In order to handle the numerous communication data, time-critical communication network (field-bus) is introduced and investigated. Finally, intelligent robot workcell is suggested using the mini-MAP and field-bus.

Brief review of the field test and application of a superconducting fault current limiter

  • This article reviews the recent activities of field testing and application of superconducting fault current limiters (SFCL) based on high-temperature superconductors (HTS). The review particularly focuses on the trends in the field tests in terms of the technical aspects and commercial activities of the SFCLs. Stimulated by the discovery of HTS, numerous research and development activities have been conducted worldwide for SFCLs operating from distribution voltages to transmission voltages. Different types of SFCLs have been developed and field-tested. Consequently, more than 20 field tests and applications have been performed on real grids worldwide while supplying electric power to the customers. These field tests have not only provided the track records of the operation experiences including the problems and maintenance during operation, but also proved their current limiting capabilities against real faults, rendering this new technology highly viable. Through these activities, the following trends in the status of field testing and application are observed. Resistive-type SFCLs with HTS-coated conductors were dominantly used in the most recent field tests. This implies that the resistive type is technically more mature than the other types. Bus-bar coupling and transformer feeders were the major application locations. It is of importance that most of the field applications were conducted as R&D projects. A relevant change from the R&D stage to the application stage is shown as recently deployed SFCLs are expected to be under long-term operation and commercial service. Here, we review the installation of these SFCLs by substation. This review also discusses the recent activities for their commercial applications.

도시교통정보시스템(UTIS) 기반 버스우선신호 알고리즘 개발 (Algorithm for Bus Priority Signals based on Urban Traffic Information System(UTIS))

  • 도시지역 광역교통정보 기반확충사업(UTIS)의 초기구축 및 확대구축에 따라 도시부 간선도로의 교통정보 수집, 제공의 기본 기능 외에 기 구축된 UTIS기반 표준체계를 활용한 다양한 응용서비스의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. UTIS기반의 버스우선신호시스템은 UTIS기반의 응용서비스 중의 하나이지만 현재 이론적인 언급만 있을 뿐, 실제적으로 개발된 사례가 없다. 이에 본 연구에서는 UTIS기반의 버스우선신호시스템을 개발하기 위하여 기존의 버스우선신호에 대한 이론 및 선행연구를 고찰을 실시하였다. 그리고 버스우선신호시스템을 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어 부문으로 나누어 UTIS기반의 버스우선신호시스템 개발에 대한 연구를 실시하였다. 또한 개발된 시스템의 적용가능성 및 유효성을 평가하기 위해 경기도 안양시 학운공원 앞 경기글로벌통상고 사거리에 실제 신호제어기를 설치하여 현장적용시험을 수행하였다. 현장적용 시험은 버스정보수신시험, 신호제어기 운영정보 방송시험, 버스우선신호 알고리즘 적용시험으로 나누어 수행하였으며, 현장시험 적용결과 1현시 조기종결, 2현시 조기종결, 3현시 현시연장에 대한 모든 알고리즘이 정상적으로 운영되는 것을 확인하였다. 또한 기 정의된 UTIS 통신규격을 준용하면서 실시간 우선신호 적용에 필요한 1초 단위 버스위치정보 수집 기능과 1초 단위의 신호운영정보 제공이 원할히 수행됨을 확인하였다.
