Welding automation is one of the most important manufacturing issues in shipbuilding in order to lower the cost, increase the quality, and avoid the labor problems. Generally the on-line teaching is utilized on the robot that is used in the welding automation system, but it requires much effort and long time to program. Especially, if the system is composed of more than two cooperating robots, it demands much more skill to program the robots' motion. Thus, a convenient programming tool is required for efficient utilization of welding automation system. In this study, a convenient programming tool is developed for welding automation in which gantry-robot system is used. The system is composed of a gantry transporter and two robots mounted on the gantry to cover the wide work range in the ship building application. As a programming tool, an off-line programming software based on PC is developed. By using this software, field operator does not need to concern about coding of task programs for three control units, one is for gantry and two are for robots. The task programs are automatically generated by assembling the program modules in database according to geometrical information of workpiece and welding condition, which become the only concern of field operator, The feasibility of the generated programs can be verified via a motion simulator previously to on-line running.
This study was conducted to improve utilization efficiency of slurry and choose a suitable type of tractor power which can be attached by manure spreader in the paddy field. In the paddy field, the pulling force for the spreader was measured by using a measurement system installed between tractors with and without the spreader. The soil moisture contents at the 0${\sim}$10cm and 10${\sim}$20cm depth of test soil(SiCL) were 28.45% d.b. and 23.47% d.b., respectively in average while Cone Index at l0cm and 15cm depth were 14.5kPa and 16.2kPa, respectively. It was impossible to measure the soil moisture contents and Cone Index below 20cm depth of the soil because the hardness of the soil increased greatly. Thereafter, hard pan of the sampled soil was found at 15${\sim}$20cm depth. While the required power only for the dragged tractor was found to be 3.44kW in the test field, the required pulling powers of tractor considering the pumping were 8.48${\sim}$12.48kW, 12.19${\sim}$16.19kW, 16.96${\sim}$20.96kW, respectively for 2 tons, 3 tons, and 4 tons of tank capacity. As the tank capacity increased, the sinkage of soil were also increased to 7cm, l0cm, and 12cm, respectively for the tractors with 2 tons, 3 tons and 4 tons of tank capacity. Considering about 60% of pulling efficiency of tractor, a tractor which had lower than 25.74kW of pulling power was suitable to pull the spreader and spread the slurry simultaneously for manure spreader with 2 tons of tank capacity. 29.42kW${\sim}$36.78kW of pulling power was found to be optimum for the tractor with 3 tons of tank capacity while over 40.45kW for 4 tons of tank capacity.
The customized cosmetics preparation management qualification system was implemented in March 2020, and it served to create jobs by developing professionals and vitalizing the cosmetics business. However, various problems such as high examination fees, suitability of questions, and utilization in industries are emerging. This paper attempts to prevent disputes that the system can cause and suggest ways to improve it by researching customized cosmetics, the industry status, and comparing foreign cosmetics laws. There is a kind of opinion that laws should be eased for this industry and the other opinion that expertise is necessary in this field because of safety. The system now has adverse effects due to a failure to adjust the difficulty of the exam. Cosmetics are not prescription-based, so they are routinely used. However, some toxic ingredients can cause side effects if they do not conform with certain standards. Also, it is difficult for a case to lead to lawsuits because most consumer damages related to cosmetics are individual. In addition, as e-commerce develops, there is a growing possibility of seeing more consumer damages. If safety and distribution issues, which experts are concerned about, escalate, the private dispute settlement system (among the ADR systems) should be activated as a resolution method.
Background: Rhizobacteria play an important role in plant defense and could be promising sources of biocontrol agents. This study aimed to screen antagonistic bacteria and develop a biocontrol system for root rot complex of Panax notoginseng. Methods: Pure-culture methods were used to isolate bacteria from the rhizosphere soil of notoginseng plants. The identification of isolates was based on the analysis of 16S ribosomal RNA (rRNA) sequences. Results: A total of 279 bacteria were obtained from rhizosphere soils of healthy and root-rot notoginseng plants, and uncultivated soil. Among all the isolates, 88 showed antagonistic activity to at least one of three phytopathogenic fungi, Fusarium oxysporum, Fusarium solani, and Phoma herbarum mainly causing root rot disease of P. notoginseng. Based on the 16S rRNA sequencing, the antagonistic bacteria were characterized into four clusters, Firmicutes, Proteobacteria, Actinobacteria, and Bacteroidetesi. The genus Bacillus was the most frequently isolated, and Bacillus siamensis (Hs02), Bacillus atrophaeus (Hs09) showed strong antagonistic activity to the three pathogens. The distribution pattern differed in soil types, genera Achromobacter, Acidovorax, Brevibacterium, Brevundimonas, Flavimonas, and Streptomyces were only found in rhizosphere of healthy plants, while Delftia, Leclercia, Brevibacillus, Microbacterium, Pantoea, Rhizobium, and Stenotrophomonas only exist in soil of diseased plant, and Acinetobacter only exist in uncultivated soil. Conclusion: The results suggest that diverse bacteria exist in the P. notoginseng rhizosphere soil, with differences in community in the same field, and antagonistic isolates may be good potential biological control agent for the notoginseng root-rot diseases caused by F. oxysporum, Fusarium solani, and Panax herbarum.

The mid-term strategy was identified as the "establishment of cooperation in the dental industry, centered on educational cooperation projects." The long-term strategy included "joint R&D projects, oral health surveys, and business development." In order to determine how best to use dental hygienists during inter-Korean exchanges and cooperation, the respondents placed urgency on the "establishment of joint cooperation projects for oral health promotion and early examination and the treatment of dental diseases and planning of community research projects" and "the role of oral health education and media development for residents." Conclusion: Cooperation is necessary regarding the preparation of oral healthcare exchanges that aim to encourage unity between North and South Korea and reduce the gaps between the North and South regarding oral health conditions. Therefore, continuous and reasonable discussions and research are needed regarding the utilization of dental hygienists in such exchanges.
Forest biomass energy is based on scientific evidence in response to carbon neutrality and the climate crisis, international consensus, and environmental-geographic characteristics of each nation. In this study, the authors aimed to analyze macroscopic forest biomass energy policies for ten major countries. They categorized them into six detailed categories (Sustainable utilization, Cascading Uutilization, Replacement of fossil fuel/Carbon intensive products, Utilization of forest by-products/residues as the source of energy, Contribution to carbon-neutral/climate change, and Biomass combined with CCS/CCUS ). In addition, the surveyed nations have developed a policy consensus on the active use of forest biomass with sustainable forest management except for the cascading utilization category. Furthermore, the authors evaluated the mid to long-term plans of the Korean government for improvements in the policy and legal aspects. As a result, the authors derived four major directions that South Korea should approach strategically in the future (1) secure financial resources for sustainable forest management and stimulating investment in the timber industry, (2) promote unified policies to establish a bio-economy, (3) enhancement of the forest biomass energy system, and (4) reorganization and promotion of strategy centered on the opinions of field experts in internal and external instability.
