An analysis of diverse perspectives on "Excellent Teaching" by a recipient of Teaching Awards with over twenty years of experience in educating young learners

  • The research is centered on veteran educators in the field of early childhood education who possess more than 20 years of teaching experience and have been recognized with awards for their outstanding achievements. The selection of participants was based on specific criteria, such as the number of years of experience and recognition received from the Ministry of Education's Teaching Innovation Competition in Korea. Eight teachers who met the specified criteria were selected to participate in the study. A qualitative phenomenological research study was carried out using semi-structured interviews to gain insight into the experiences and perspectives of the participants. The study identified five main themes: cultivating interpersonal relationships, establishing interactive classroom settings, providing impactful educational methodologies, facilitating healthy habits and character education, and creating a supportive environment for teachers' well-being. The study seeks to improve comprehension of teaching methodologies and offer suggestions for professional development, teacher training, and educational policies.

제4차 산업혁명에 대응하는 표준전문가 경력경로 연구 (A Study on the Career Development Path of Standard Expert for the 4th Industrial Revolution)

  • 본 연구는 미국 EU 등 외국의 표준전문가 양성사례분석을 토대로 제4차 산업혁명에 대응하는 표준전문가 양성을 위한 경력경로를 모색하였다. 이를 위해 전문가 인터뷰, 외국의 사례분석을 연구방법으로 수행하였다. 그 결과, 유럽과 미국의 사례를 통해 범용전문가와 특정분야전문가를 동시에 배출할 수 있는 인력양성체제를 제안하였다. 또한 표준분야에서도 범용과 특정분야의 특성에 따라 세분화된 분야를 융 복합할 수 있는 융합전문성을 갖춘 표준전문가를 육성하여야 함을 제시하였다. 전문인력의 경력개발을 도와주는 프로그램으로 직무이동/순환 제도, 경력 카운슬링, 멘토링 등을 제시하였다. 그리고 표준전문가에 대한 인증자격제도를 다양하게 구축, 표준교육을 담당할 능력과 전문성을 갖춘 교수자의 확보, 재직 표준관련 인력의 재교육을 통한 역량강화가 표준전문가 양성에서 기반으로 작용함을 제시하였다. 이상의 본 연구는 연구가 미흡한 표준전문가 양성을 위한 경력경로를 탐색한 연구로서의 의미를 가진다. 인터뷰 분석, 문헌연구와 외국 사례 분석에 기초한 기술적(descriptive) 연구로서의 한계를 가지고 있다. 향후에 제4차 산업혁명과 표준전문인력 관련 본 연구 결과의 타당성을 검토할 수 있는 실증연구가 다양하게 이루어질 필요성이 있다.

근미래 친환경 건축분야 엔지니어에게 필요한 역량에 대한 델파이 연구 (A Delphi Study on Competencies of Future Green Architectural Engineer)

  • With rapid advance of technologies including information and communication technologies, jobs are evolving faster than ever. Architectural engineering is no exception in this regard, and the green architectural engineering is emerging fast as a promising new field. In this study, a Delphi study of expert architectural engineers are conducted to find out (1) near future prospects of the field, (2) near future emerging jobs, (3) competencies needed for these jobs, and (4) educational content necessary to build these competencies with regards to the green architectural engineering. Initial Delphi survey consisting of open-ended questions in the above four areas were conducted and came out with 65 items after duplicate removal and semantic refinements. Further refinements via second and third wave of Delphi results into 40 items that the 13 architectural engineering experts may largely agree upon as future prospects with regards to the green architectural engineering. Findings indicate that it is expected that the demand for green architectural engineering and needs for automatic energy control system increase. Also, collaborations with other fields is becoming more and more important in green architectural engineering. The professional work management skills such as knowledge convergence, problem solving, collaboration skills, and creativity linking components from various related areas seem to also be on the increasing need. Near future ready critical skills are found to be the building environment control techniques (thermal, light, sound, and air), the data processing techniques like data mining, energy monitoring, and the control and utilization of environmental analysis software. Experts also agree on new curriculum for green building architecture to be developed with more of converging subjects across disciplines for future ready professional skills and experiences. Major topics to be covered in the near future includes building environment studies, building energy management, energy reduction systems, indoor air quality, global environment and natural phenomena, and machinery and electrical facility. Architectural engineering community should be concerned with building up the competencies identified in this Delphi preparing for fast advancing future.

노인 장기요양 보험제도 실시에 따른 전문직종사자의 수요 예측 -간호사, 사회복지사, 요양보호사를 중심으로- (Demand Prospect of Professional Workers in Execution of the Elderly's Long-Term Care Insurance -Nurse, Social Welfare, Care Probation Professional workers-)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 2008년 7월에 실시된 노인 장기요양 보험제도 실시에 따라서 보건 복지 전문직 종사자의 수요모형을 구축하고 수요를 예측함으로써 인프라구축이 필요한 교육기관의 학과개설과 증원에 대비하고자 함이다. 2009년 5월 현재 노인 장기요양 보험 시행 1주년 주요 통계 현황을 바탕으로 2010부터 2030년까지 장래 노인인구의 노인 장기요양 인정자 추계와 이에 따른 시설 요양기관, 재가 서비스기관, 가족급여등의 요양보험 이용자로 인한 보건 복지 전문직 종사자의 수요를 측정하였다. 사회복지사는 2020년 16,624명 2030년 24,688명으로 전망되었다. 간호사는 2020년 11,287명, 2030년에는 16,764명으로 수요증가가 가속화될 전망이다. 요양보호사의 경우 2009년에 필요한 인원은 44,824명이며 8월 31일 현재 1,078개의 교육기관에서 1년간 약 50만명 이상을 양성함으로써 소요인원의 10배 이상으로 과다 양성되었다.

국내 건축시공(建築施工) 전공교육(全功敎育)에 대한 건설현장(建設現場)의 인식(認識) 및 요구(要求)에 관한 연구(硏究) (Comparison of the required abilities in construction site between field managers and students)

  • The construction industry highly depends on each specialized manager which is essential to successful project. However, a new employee, who has just graduated from architectural engineering college, is requested additional education for 1~2 years such as On-the-Job-Training (O.J.T) to perform his/her professional job in construction site. It is wasteful for both construction company and the employee in terms of time and cost. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the required abilities and analyze the gap of demanded abilities between field managers and students. To collect data for analysis, questionnaire which uses Likert Scale has been performed to both parts. As a result, the analysis show that the graduate's abilities related to field experience get especially low degrees in compare with non-field experience factors. These results will contribute architectural engineering education in college to make more realized.

전문대학 안경사 양성제도 및 안경광학과 교육과정 개선방안 (Optician Training System at a Professional School Education and Improvement Plan of Curriculum in the Department of Optical Science)

  • 바람직한 안경사 양성을 위해서 전문대학 안경광학과 교육과정의 문제점을 분석하고 다음과 같은 결론을 얻었다. 안경사 양성기관은 단기방안으로 현행 전문대학 2년제 안경광학과에서 3년제로 연장하고, 장기적으로는 4년제 안경광학과를 설치하여야 한다. 국가시험은 과목별 반영비율을 재조정하고 콘택트렌즈학을 추가해야 하며, 시험형태는 현행 객관식 지필고사에다 필기가공테스트를 추가해서 국가시험제도를 강화해야 한다. 전문대학 안경광학과 교육과정은 실험실습이 강화된 형으로 재구성되어야 한다. 즉 특수안경 조제, 포롭터 검사법 등의 실험실습 과목이 확대되어야 하고 임상실습에는 상품지식 등이 포함되어야 하며 이론과 실습비율도 5:5로 하는 것이 합리적이다. 안경광학과 교수구성은 학생 40명당 2명 이상으로 증원하여야 하며 안경광학 전공교수, 보건의학 전공교수, 안경사 출신교수 등으로 교수진을 구성해서 비전공 교수들에 의한 강의가 이루어지지 않도록 하는 것이 바람직하다. 실험실습은 과목을 확대하고 실습시간과 실습장소, 기자재, 실습조교 등의 확보 또는 채용이 필요하다. 임상실습은 실습내용에 상품지식, 경영실무 등이 포함되는 것이 바람직하며 실습평가자의 자격도 전문대 출신 이상의 안경사가 하는 것이 합리적이다.

실천공동체의 관점에서 바라본 학교 ESD 프로젝트 참여 교사들의 경험에 관한 연구 (A Study on Teachers' Experiences in ESD Project of School with Perspective of Community of Practice)

  • The purpose of this study is to look at the elementary school teachers' practical experiences of change and knowledges in promotion of Education for Sustainable Development(ESD) process with Community of Practice(CoP) of teachers and Biographical Approach. ESD project of 'S' elementary school was started by Principal's recognition of further and that was practiced with a common theme over the course through various experiences in educational field with teachers' involvement and finally came to the changes in teachers' personal life and lifelong cognition. Through Community of Practice teachers could look the concept of ESD to a wide field of view and tried various activities in the classroom with students and also, as a further, were able to equip new professional competency with skills. Through the process of learning and experience teachers accepted the ESD philosophy as the engine of life and experienced that their long-term recognition was extended to the whole personal life and the global community.

미국 방사선사 면허제도와 기본 교육과정에 대한 고찰 : 텍사스주 일개 대학 사례를 중심으로 (A Study on Radiologic Technologist's License System and Primary Pathway Education Curriculum in the United States American : Focused on One Case of College in Texas)

  • The purpose of this study was to study on radiologic technologist's license system and primary pathway education curriculum in the United States American (USA), focused on one case of college in Texas. We were collected and analyzed through class participation at a community college in Tarrant, interviews with professors of radiologic science and clinical radiographers, field trips, an internet search, and literature reviews. As a result, first, the American radiologic technologists license system is composed of fifteen chapters, and the professional education courses for each field are being carried out through three courses of a primary pathway, a post primary pathway and a physician extender. Second, the primary pathway courses consisted the radiography, the radiation therapy, the nuclear medicine, the magnetic resonance imaging, the sonography. Third, the USA had about 30 times more clinical practice time than Korea. In clinical practice, students had done actually examination through X-ray exposure on patients. Last radiographers in the USA was able to perform intravenous injection of radiopharmaceutical agents on patient, so that he could perform rapid examination and efficient manpower operation. This study could be used as basic data for the globalization of radiologic technologists license system in Korea.

농촌주부의 생활개선 교육 요구분석 I -생활개선 교육의 방법에 대한 요구를 중심으로- (A Heed Assessment of Home Improvement Education for Rural Women -The aspect of educational methods and charactristics of rural women-)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide useful data for developing adult education program by assessing educational needs of rural women in home improvement educational contents. Data of this study were collected by interview from 500 home makers who are under 65 years old in 20 areas in Korea. The results are as follows : 1) Winter was favorite season, and good time band during a day was afternoon. Favorite teaching hours were 2∼3 hours a day and 1∼3 days per term. And they wanted village convention center or rural gidance office as educational place, and prefered lecturer is home improvement extension worker. 2) Among relationship between needs for education method and individual variables, is only corelated with rural women's living and educational degree significantly. To improve educational effect, teaching method is more prefered for the participatory education than lecture. It should be provided with exclusive educational place, and be increased professional field workes with obligation and power.

  • The government has implemented the policy that encourages Hanok to preserve and widely spread. In fact, the interest and demand of its construction have generally increased but the systematically educated labor force in this field has tended to be lacked. This paper proposes to train experts of Hanok domestic construction-related the University and Hanok professional education institutions on the basis of the curriculum for students majoring in Architecture and Architectural Engineering at the University of Hanok education.
