  • 본 연구에서는 중공형 섬유보강폴리머(Fiber Reinforced Polymer : FRP) 바닥판이 적용된 교량에 적합한 신축이음장치를 개발하고자 신축이음장치의 설계기준 및 특성을 분석하였다. 또한, 신축이음장치를 선정하는 기준이 되는 설계 신축량 산정법과 FRP바닥판 상세를 검토하여, 강콘크리트 거더 교량에 적용 가능한 FRP바닥판용 신축이음장치를 개발 제안하였다.

  • Today fiber composite materials are routinely used in such wide applications as ships automobiles aircraft space vehi-cles containers sporting goods and appliances. The current knowledge of machining glass fiber reinforced polyester com-posites unfortunately is inadequate for its optimum utilization in many applications. Therefore This paper deals with drilling characteristic of glass fiber reinforced polyester composites. In the drilling of glass fiber reinforced polyester the quality of the cut surfaces is strongly dependent on the drilling parameters. drilling tests were carried out on glass fiber reinforced polyester using standard HSS tools. The material containing random chopped strand fibers and woven roving was fabricated by hand lay-up The entrance and exit surface of the holes was examined. 폐어망을 이용한 섬유보강 콘트리트의 적용성 연구 (Feasibility Study of Fiber Reinforced Concrete Using Waste Fishing Net)

  • PURPOSES : To evaluate the feasibility of cut waste fishing net as a reinforced fiber for concrete. METHODS : Strength characteristics of fiber reinforced concrete using waste fishing net were investigated. The cut waste fishing nets with 4~5cm length were putted into the soil-cement and cement concrete for pavement slab. RESULTS : Compression and tensile strength of fiber reinforced concrete using waste fishing net were increased. CONCLUSIONS : It was concluded that cut waste fishing net can be used as a reinforced fiber for cement concrete. However, sometimes using cut waste fishing net leads to decrease the strength; therefore, further researches are needed for real project.

하이브리드 섬유보강 시멘트복합체의 인장거동에 미치는 변형속도의 영향 (Effect of Strain Rate on Tensile Behavior of Hybrid Fiber Reinforced Cement-based Composites)

  • In this study, the tensile behavior of single and hybrid fiber reinforced cement composite according to strain rate was evaluated. Experimental results, in the strain rate 10-6/s, fiber reinforced cement composite showed improved of tensile strength and decrease of strain at peak stress as SSF volume content increased. In the strain rate 101/s, the single and hybrid reinforced cement composite' s tensile properties are improved, because of the improved bond strength between the fiber and matrix. And hybrid fiber reinforced cement composite showed high energy absorption capacity, because the SSF prevented the cracking and fracture of the surrounding matrix when during the HSF pull-out.

First Diagonal Cracking and Ultimate Shear of I-Shaped Reinforced Girders of Ultra High Performance Fiber Reinforced Concrete without Stirrup

  • The first diagonal cracking and ultimate shear load of reinforced girder made of ultra high performance fiber reinforced concrete (UHPFRC) were investigated in this paper. Eleven girders were tested in which eight girders failed in shear. A simplified formulation for the first diagonal cracking load was proposed. An analytical model to predict the ultimate shear load was formulated based on the two bounds theory. A fiber reinforcing parameter was constituted based on the random assumption of steel fiber uniform distribution. The predicted values were compared with the conventional predictions and the test results. The proposed equation can be used for the first cracking status analysis, while the proposed equations for computing the ultimate shear strength can be used for the ultimate failure status analysis, which can also be utilized for numerical limit analysis of reinforced UHPFRC girder. The established fiber reinforcing theoretical model can also be a reference for micro-mechanics analysis of UHPFRC.

  • The objective of this study is to evaluate the flexure strength of steel fiber reinforced concrete beams and the effect of the adding steel fiber to flexural strength, and is to compare the proposed equation with the previous equation for predicting the flexural strength of fiber reinforced concrete beams. Based on earlier published studies and tests, predictive equation is proposed for evaluating the flexural strength of steel fiber reinforced concrete beams. The proposed equation gave good prediction for the flexural strength of the tested beams.

  • Fiber reinforced concrete has been used for tunnel lining and rehabilitation of old structures. Recently, structural synthetic fiber was developed to overcome the corrosive properties of steel fibers. Fibers play a role to increase the tensile and cracking resistance of concrete structures. The Post cracking behavior must be clarified to predict cracking resistance of fiber reinforced concrete. The purpose of the present study is to develop a realistic analysis method for post cracking behavior of synthetic fiber reinforced concrete members.

  • This study has been performed to obtain the mechanical properties of specialty cellulose fiber reinforced concrete. Flexural test is proceeded by third-point loading method and the size of the test specimens is 15${\times}$15${\times}$55mm. The effect of differing volume fraction (0.08%, 0.1%, 0.15%) were studied. The results of tests of the specialty cellulose fiber reinforced concrete were compared with plain and polypropylene fiber reinforced concrete. Results indicated that specialty cellulose fiber reinforcement showed an ability to increase the flexural strength.
