In recent years, composite materials such as fiber reinforced plastics (FRP) have gained considerable attention in the aircraft and automobile industries due to their light weight, high modulus and specific strength. In practice, control of chip formation appears to be the most serious problem since chip formation mechanism in composite machining has significant effects on the finished surface [1,2,3,4,5]. Current study will discuss frequency analysis based on autoregressive (AR) time series model and process characterization in orthogonal cutting of a fiber-matrix composite materials. A sparsely distributed idealized model composite material, namely a glass reinforced polyester (GFRP) was used as workpiece. Analysis method employs a force sensor and the signals from the sensor are processed using AR time series model. The experimental correlation between the different chip formation mechanisms and model coefficients are established.(omitted)

There are several basic classes of recycling methods for FRP boats. The main one is 'Mechanical recycling' which involves shredding and grinding of the scrap FRP in a new product. That is one of the simpler and more technically proven methods. It recently has been reported that FRP can be recycled by separating into layers instead of crushing into powder. Many researchers should be more interested in these mechanical recycling for the eligibility. Nevertheless, because resins is very useful renewable energy, most of waste FRP regenerating methods depend on incineration (reclamation) or thermal recycling (pyrolysis). FRP is made up of laminated glass- fiber (roving cloth layer) which is also very unlikely to break into each layer. If there is an extracting method which is efficient and environment friendly removing glass fiber from waste FRP, it should also solve the another urgent problem. Laminated glass-fiber which is very limited renewable, is a serious barrier to wast FRP boat regenerating. This study is to propose a new extracting method which is efficient and environment friendly waste FRP regenerating system. And it should be applied to renewable energy applications with the waste resins of FRP. Also recycling glass fiber obtained by the separation of the roving layer from waste FRP will be consider to be useful for concrete products or structures.

This paper describes the need for a ductile Fiber Reinforced Plastics (FRP) reinforcement for concrete structures. To promte the degradation of the adhesive condition at the fiber/matrix micro interface without matrix dissolution loss were carried out in salt water surrounding. The absorption properties and the bending strength were compared about GFRP rebar and steel bar.

Recently, an improved capacity for RC bridges is required by their deterioration or necessary to carry traffic increase. Strengthening is known as a better way to improve capacity of bridges than reconstructing. Fiber Reinforced Plastics (FRP) is introduced as one of the best strengthening structures in this paper. It is also known as an economical improvement. Therefore, FRP sheet and Glass Fiber-Steel Composite Plate (GSP) in this research were used in strengthening slab of RC bridges. Experimental data from the strengthening will be helpful to better understand the slab behavior and an effect of the strengthening.
Especially, Fiber glass Reinforced Plastics(FRP) is the best composite insulating material which has been so far. Therefore, it's worthy of notice to investigate on the corona electrified composite insulating material by surface condition. And then some other materials will be focussed on. In this study, charge decay were measured with charging-time and grid voltage on FRP composite material surface in order to analyze the mechanism. As a result we have studied that the way of the composite glass fiber(GF) and Polymer and the condition of the contaminated surface was different. In case of the GF is mixed with vertical, charge decay speed is fast because the charge is easily leaked. On the other hand, the surface charge decay speed is depend on conductive or insulated of the contaminant.

The surge in FRP(Fiber Reinforced Plastic) research signifies the industry's pursuit to counteract the longstanding issue of rebar corrosion. Notably, Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic(CFRP) emerges as a commendable alternative, given its superior resistance to both corrosion and chemical interactions, thus positing itself as a potential replacement for traditional steel rebars. However, the layered composition of fibers and resin in CFRP flags a notable susceptibility to elevated temperatures. Despite its promise, comprehensive studies elucidating the full spectrum of CFRP properties remain ongoing. In this investigative study, we meticulously assessed the bond strength of CFRP post-exposure to high thermal conditions. Our findings underscored a parity in bond strength amongst silica sand-coated CFRP, rib-type CFRP, and Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic(GFRP).

Charge decay, thermally stimulated current (TSC), charging and discharging currents(I) are measured for corona-charged composite insulating materials. In this study, We will make an experiment in charge decay on composite material surface, TSC, polarity effect and the others in order to analysis its mechanism. Especially, Fiber glass Reinforced Plastics(FRP) is the best composite material which has been so far. Therefore, Its worthy of notice to investigate its characteristic. And then some other materials will be focused on. This experiment measured characteristic of charge decay, dependence of discharging-time and other electrostatic characteristics on FRP.

The study covers the behavior of reinforced concrete deep beams loaded under 4-point bending, failed by shear and repaired using bonding glass fiber reinforced plastics fabrics (GFRP) patches. Two rehabilitation methods have been used to highlight the influence of the composite on the ultimate strength of the beams and their failure modes. In the first series of trials the work has been focused on the reinforcement/rehabilitation of the beam by following the continuous configuration of the FRP fabric. The patch with a U-shape did not provide satisfactory results because this reinforcement strategy does not allow to increase the ultimate strength or to avoid the abrupt shear failure mode. A second methodology of rehabilitation/reinforcement has been developed in the form of SCR (Strips of Critical Region), in which the composite materials reinforcements are positioned to band the inclined cracks (shear) caused by the shear force. The results obtained by using this method lead a superior out come in terms of ultimate strength and change of the failure mode from abrupt shearing to ductile bending.
In order to analysis the degradation process of epoxy/glass fiber for outdoor condition, FRP laminate was exposed to high temperature and water. Then the degradation process was evaluated by comparing contact angle, surface potential decay, and surface resistivity. For the change of wettability, the contact angle of thermal-treated specimen with the high temperature of $200^{\circ}C$ increased. But that of water-treated specimen decreased. The characteristic of surface potential decay shows the tendency of the remarkable decrease on water-treated specimens, but no difference on thermal-treated specimen compared with untreated one. Also, for the surface resistivity, it shows the same trend compared with the change of contact angle.

From this research the construction civil official is simple with the parking floor finishing material, it improves the durability of the parking floor it uses the flexible FRP it will be able to secure the drainage quality it is excellent and it presents the efficient application plan from the construction site. The performance appraisal only efficiency with of result floor of parking area material bay it knows, the result where also the performance appraisal portion re-with roof bottom finishing is satisfied it showed. The flexible FRP it applies the material to the building as to diminish the damage of the bottom finishing material due to the deterioration and the conduct and the external force of the building it is exposed to the external environment, secures the quality of the material from the construction site and will contribute to the stability against the bottom finishing material.
