  • It is generally known that the bonding strength of RC(Reinforced Concrete) flexural members strengthened by fiber sheet composites are sufficient and the bonding failure does not occur until the sheet failed. However, many researchers have been reported that, before the failure of the sheet, the bonding failure happens even though the bonding length is sufficient. This study was carried out to evaluate the effectiveness of shear key and U strip on flexural behavior of reinforced concrete beam structures. The ply number of CFS(Carbon Fiber Sheet), location of shear key, and existence or not of U strip were selected as the main test variables. Test results show that the behavior of a beam of which shear key is located in the nearby. of support and U strip is not existent, and having CFS of 1 ply is mostly improved.

  • 일본 국토교토성이 책정한 <도로교 장수명화 수선계획사업>에 의하면, 주요 지역에 건설된 RC 상판의 심각한 손상 원인은 대형차량의 주행하중에 의한 피로열화와 재료의 경년열화 등으로 보고되어지고 있다. 따라서 이에 대한 대책으로 탄소섬유 시트를 이용한 하부 접착 보강공법이 많이 소개되어지고 있으나, 최근에는 CFS와 동등한 재료특성치를 보유하며, 시공성이 뛰어난 탄소섬유 스트랜드 시트가 새로운 보강재료로써 관심이 증폭되어지고 있다. 그러나 이러한 CFSS의 윤하중 피로실험을 통한 내피로성 평가는 현재 일부 연구기관에서만 그 성과가 보고되어지고 있는 실정이며, 국내에서는 아직까지 연구성과에 관한 보고 등이 거의 없는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 RC 상판의 하부에 CFS를 전면접착 보강한 실험체와 CFSS를 격자형으로 보강한 실험체를 제작하여, 윤하중 피로실험을 실시하고 내피로성을 평가하였다.

  • Characteristics of fiber-reinforced thermoplastic sheet depend on the quantity and shape of fibers. During a molding process of composites, the fiber-maxtrix separation and fober orientation are caused by the flow during the molding process. As a result, the product tends to be nonhomogeneous and anisotropic. Hence, it is very important to clarify the relations between separation-orientation and molding conditions. The correlation between the separation and the orientation have to be clarified for designing the fiber structure. In this paper, the degree of nonhomogeneity which is a measure of the separation is obtained using one-dimensional rectangular shaped part compression molding. And the orientation function is defined and measured by the image processing using soft X-rayed photograph and image scammer. Correlation between the degree of nonhomogeneity and the orientation function is discussed.

신형 리브재 CFGFRP 보강근 및 CF 보강시트로 보강된 콘크리트의 파괴예측 자가진단 (Self-Diagnosis for Fracture Prediction of Concrete Reinforced by New Type Rib CFGFRP Rod and CF Sheet)

  • 본 연구에서는 탄소섬유로 보강된 콘크리트의 전기저항 변화를 모니터링하는 방법에 의해, 콘크리트의 파괴에 대한 자가진단 적용 특성을 검토하였다. 미분쇄 탄소섬유와 코크스 분체로 구성된 신형 리브재가 포함된 CFGFRP (탄소섬유 유리섬유 강화 플라스틱)와 콘크리트 보강용 CF(탄소섬유) 시트에 휨 하중 재하 단계별로 하중을 가할 때 균열 또는 파괴가 발생하기 전후의 탄소섬유의 전기저항 변화를 조사하여, 각 인자의 관계특성(각 하중단계별 전기저항, 변형률, 처짐 등의 변화)을 분석하였다. 그 결과, 콘크리트 인장측 파괴시 탄소섬유 보강근, 신형 리브, 시트가 파괴될 때, 전기저항은 크게 증가하지만, CFGFRP의 경우는 그 후 하이브리드 FRP 재료 중 탄소섬유를 보강하고 있던 유리섬유가 나머지 추가 재하 하중에 저항할 수 있어 콘크리트 시험체의 전 파괴단계에까지는 이르지 않았다. 따라서 CFGFRP의 보강근과 신형 리브, CF시트는 FRP로 보강된 콘크리트의 파괴를 사전에 감지할 수 있는 자가진단 재료로서의 적용이 가능함을 알 수 있었다.

  • 생장속도가 빨라서 단위면적당 Biomass의 생산량이 많은 어저귀(Indian mallow, Abutilon avicennae G.)를 원료로 하여 펄프화하였으며, 제조한 한지의 물리적·기계적·현미경적 특성에 관하여 비교 검토하였다. 제조한 한지의 특성을 살펴보면 광학적, 강도적, 현미경적인 특성에서 설포메틸 펄프화법이 우수한 결과를 나타냈고, 장섬유인 인피부 펄프에 대한 단섬유인 목질부 펄프의 혼입량 증가에 따른 변화에 있어 지질(밀도, 백색도, 불투명도, 지합)의 변화는 점차 증가했으나, 강도는 감소하는 경향을 나타냈다.

뽕나무 한지의 지합특성 (Sheet Formation Properties of Morus Hanji)

  • This study was carried out to investigate the sheet formation properties of Morus Hanjis, made of bast and whole stalk pulps by different pulping methods, such as alkali, alkali-peroxide and sulfomethylated pulping. Two species of Morus, M. alba and M. lhou, were used. Effect of morphological properties of pulp stocks on the sheet formation and its gray levels based on optical property were evaluated using an Image analyzer. In addition, the effect of fiber distribution index(FDI) which was calculated from tile data of Confocal laser scanning microscopy(CLSM) on the sheet formation and optical properties of Morus Hanji were also discussed. On the sheet formation, Hanji from whole stalk pulp was superior than that of bast pulp. The more the sheet formation improved, the more paper opacity decreased. In the aspect of Hanji's surface characteristics analyzed by an Image analyzer, the average gray level and its standard deviation of Hanji from the whole stalk pulp were rather lower than those of bast pulp because of better sheet formation of the former. However, high brightness Hanji showed high value of gray level. The sheet formation and paper opacity were increased with the decrease of standard deviation of gray level. From these results, gray level measurement could be used to predict the paper opacity as well as sheet formation. Sheet formation of whole stalk Hanji and its FDI measured by CLSM were higher than those of bast fibers. In conclusion, the sheet formation and opacity of Hanji could be evaluated by standard deviation value of Hanji's gray level using an Image analyzer and by fiber distribution index using CLSM.

GFS-CFXB 내진보강법을 이용한 지진피해를 받은 R/C 건물의 내진성능 평가 및 내진보강 효과 (Seismic Strengthening and Performance Evaluation of Damaged R/C Buildings Strengthened with Glass Fiber Sheet and Carbon Fiber X-Brace System)

  • 기존 강재 브레이싱 내진보강법은 정착부의 안정성 문제와 브레이싱의 국부좌굴이 발생할 문제가 있으며, 이를 방지하기 위한 추가보강으로 인해 불필요한 자중증가 등으로 경제적인 내진보강성능 확보에 어려움이 있다. 이 연구에서는 지진피해를 받은 건물에 지진피해로 인한 기존 기둥의 연성확보를 위해서 유리섬유시트(glass fiber sheet)로 래핑을 함과 동시에 기존 철골 X-브레이싱 내진보강법에 비교해서 경량의 고강도 재료로 보강 후 추가적인 중량증가가 거의 없으며, 브레이싱 압축 좌굴거동에 자유로운 탄소섬유 앵커 X-브레이싱공법(carbon fiber X-brace)을 조합한 경제적이며 효과적인 새로운 내진보강법(GFS-CFXB)을 제안하였다. 이 연구에서 제안한 GFS-CFXB공법의 유용성을 검증할 목적으로 지진피해를 받은 골조를 대상으로 반복가력에 의한 구조실험을 실시하여 내진성능 및 내진보강 효과를 검증하였다.

  • Method of Steel plate reinforced by fiber sheet is advantageous in the secure loading facility. For this method are a light weight and a high strength, the thickness of steel can be reduced Effects of composite system are depreciated when the thickness of steel is thin. This is the result of the difference of ductility ratio with steel plate. Steel plate reinforced by fiber sheets confirms the ability of transformation. This is the result of the property of steel materials Steel plate reinforced by fiber sheet didn't display an enough performance when theadhesives are epoxy rosin. This is the result of the slide of the surface of stee1. The adhesive ability is varied by the number and span of anchor bolts. There wasn't happening the separation between steel and epoxy. Thus the method used in combination with anchor and epoxy is best excellent. This is the result of the upward of accumulation effects Shearing force is in proportion to the number of bolts. But the ability of shearing force per one bolt is reducing. Thickness of steel plate reinforced by fiber sheet must be designed so that steel is endure before concrete is wreck.

프레스 접합성형 GMT-Sheet의 기계적 성질 (Mechanical Properties of GMT-Sheet on Press joined Molding)

  • The application as the parts of an automobile, using the property of GMT-Sheet, is increasing. In order to exchange the parts of an automobile for GMT-Sheet, at first, the establishment and joining problem of exact joining strength must be determined. We have studied it using composites which is not same each other fiber oriented condition so as to determine joining strength and joining condition of GMT-Sheet. In this study, the result of experiment of forming condition concerned joining problem of GMT-Sheet is this ; joining efficiency of GMT-Sheet, increases as lap joint length L increases. Increase of compression ration cause decrease of joining efficiency after of GMT-Sheet, joining. In the viewpoint of recycling, randomly oriented composite of GMT-Sheet is desirable more than unidirectional oriented composite. We have better design the structure so as not occur to stress centralization on the joining part.

  • When the RC frame structures subjected to the seismic load, brittle shear failure of vertical members induces brittle collapse of whole structures. Failure mechanism like this is not desirable. So shear strengthening method to avoid this failure mechanism is needed. Recently, strengthening method using continuous fiber sheet is studied and used widely which have high elastic and high strength characteristics. In this study, RC columns which is strengthened by carbon fiber sheet in the form of tape or whole sheet were tested under the cyclic load. The parameter of this test is the amount of strengthening. As the amount of strengthening increase, strength, ductility and energy capacity increase. The failure mode of test results are shear and bond-split failure.
