가방 구매행동과 디자인 선호도 연구 - 성별과 연령집단에 따른 비교분석을 중심으로 - (A Study on Bag Purchasing Behaviors and Design Preferences - Focusing on Comparative analysis by Sex and Age group -)

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate bag purchasing behaviors and design preferences of male and female adult consumers, and to find the differences depending on sex and age variable. A survey was conducted on 400 male and female adults from 20s to 50s. The questionnaire consisted of bag purchase behaviors, bag design preferences, and the subjects' demographic characteristics. The data were analyzed by Cronbach's α, factor analysis, x2 test and t-test using SPSS. The results were as follows. First, as bag selection criteria, four factors (practicality, symbolism, aesthetics, and economics) were derived, and adult consumers considered economics as the most important among the factors. As for purchasing information sources, three factors (media, human resources, and store) were derived, and adult consumers considered human resources and store information sources more important than media. The main motive for purchasing bags was age and damage of the owned products, and Internet shopping malls were the most common purchasing place. The average annual cost of purchasing bags was 100,000 to 300,000 won, and the frequency of purchase was about once a year. Second, as bag preference images, four factors (individual, romantic, active, and classic image) were derived, and adult consumers preferred classic images the most. The shoulder bag was the most preferred as the bag shape, and black was the most preferred bag color. For the material, natural leather was the most preferred, and for the size, medium size was the most preferred. Third, bag purchasing behaviors and design preferences showed many significant differences according to the sex and age of the consumers. Therefore, the results of this study suggests that bag companies need to establish product development and marketing strategies in consideration of differences according to the sex and age group of adult consumers.

셔츠의 착용실태와 소재에 대한 주관적 선호감각 (The Wearing Conditions of Shirts and the Subjective Preferences for Shirt Fabrics)

  • This study was intended to investigate the wearing conditions of shirts, and examine the preferred subjective sensation for shirt fabrics. A questionnaire survey was conducted on 469 university students (male students $45.3\%$, female students $54.7\%$) in the Cheongju area, Korea. Frequency, descriptive analysis, $\x^2$ and t-tests were used for data analysis. The results were as follows: Regardless of gender, most owned 4 shirts in the autumn, which were each worn once or twice week. Generally, patterned shirts were less favored than those with solid colors, regardless of gender, but the color of the shirts differed slightly according to gender. Most students gathered items from those displayed in the store as their source of information on shirts, and tended to purchase items worth $30,000\~50,000$ won at franchised stores with friends of the same gender. They almost always looked carefully at the size and brand, but the care label and fiber content were rather neglected during the purchase. While purchasing their shirts, the following elements were considered, in this order of importance: size; color; fitness; comfort; price; tactile sensation. Light, dense, soft, warm, wrinkle-free, dry and strong sensation of the shirt fabrics were the strongest preferences for a purchase. There were partially significant gender differences in the subjective sensation of shirt fabrics.

사상체질에 따른 늑골각의 형태학적 연구 (A Morphologocal Study of the Angle of Costal Arch according to the Sasang Constitution)

  • 1. Objectives To examine appearances and body shapes is essential of diagnosing Sasang constitution. Although there are many parts and ways to examine appearances, examination of abdomen would be so necessary and important. We focused on angles of costal arch according to Sasang constitution so that we can find some specialty of each constitution. 2. Methods We measured the angles of costal arch of 173 participants who were diagnosed as Sasang constitution after treatments and analyzed by ANOVA and using Scheffe’s t-test or t-test for some independent parameters. 3. Results and Conclusions 81 Taeumin’s mean costal angle is $93.64^{\circ}$ to be the widest one. 51 Soyangin have $87.27^{\circ}$ mean angle of costal arch to be the second widest one. The next one is Taeyangin’s mean angle of costal arch as $81.66^{\circ}$ but the number of them were only 3. The sharpest costal angle which is $71.02^{\circ}$ is owned by 38 Soeumin. Male participants have wider costal arch than female in all the constitutional groups.

대학생들의 청바지 구매 행동과 소비자 특성에 따른 평가 기준의 차이 (Purchasing Behavior and Evaluative Criteria of Jeans Consumers)

  • This study was conducted to investigate purchasing behavior of jeans consumers and to find differences in jeans evaluative criteria according to consumers' characteristics. Male and female university students participated in the study. Quota sampling method was used to collect the data. Data from 492 questionnaires were used for the statistical analysis. Descriptive analysis, factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha coefficient, ANOVA, Duncan test, and t-test were conducted. Three factors of jeans evaluative criteria classified (i.e., external criteria, internal/aesthetic criteria, internal/quality criteria). Results indicated that most of respondents put on jeans wear more than three times per a week and 38.1% of respondents reported that they owned three to four jeans products on average. Department store was the most used place to buy jeans product with 44.2%. 27.5% of respondents spent from 50,000 won to 100,000 won on purchasing jeans. Style was the highest important jeans evaluative criterion with 36.2%, followed by fitness, price, color, condition of washing treatment. Women respondents considered aesthetic criteria and quality criteria more importantly than men did. Respondents who were on a high income and spent more than 200,000 won per a month on apparel more concerned aesthetic criteria and external criteria than the other respondents did. Results of this study provide a basis for understanding jeans consumers' purchase behavior and evaluative criteria.

개의 미용 스트레스에 의한 Cortisol농도의 변화 (Changes of Serum Cortisol Concentrations by Clipping Stress in Dogs)

  • This experiment is designed to determine the relationship between groomers' activities and stress. The experimenter worked with 2 female dogs and 3 male dogs owned by clients. They were 22 months old on an average and weighed 5.5kg on an average. The concentration of cortisol in blood was measured with radioimmunoassy(RIA). The concentration of cortisol in blood was high in the morning and evening and was low in the afternoon. In a normal condition, the concentration of cortisol in blood was $1.4{\mu}g/dL$, which increased to $4.98{\mu}g/dL$ after 1 hr of grooming, and then returned to normal at the termination of grooming. The survey shows that grooming acted as a stressor, which seems to have an influence on the health of dogs. So it is absolutely necessary that systematic and constant research should be conducted to reduce stress at the time of grooming.

건강한 내원견에서 나이와 성별이 망막전위도에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Age and Gender on Electroretinogram in 34 Client-owned Healthy Dogs)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 건강한 내원견을 대상으로 측정한 망막전위도에 나이 및 성별이 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 알아보는데 있다. 보호자가 임상 실험에 참가하는 것을 동의한 34두의 개를 medetomidine과 tiletamine-zolazepam혼합제로 전신마취하여 ISCEV에서 권고하는 진단용 프로토콜에 따라 망막전위도를 측정하였다. 성별간 비교시는 cone 반응의 a파의 지연시간에서 그리고 나이별 비교시 Hi-int R & C 반응의 a파 지연시간에서 유의성을 각각 나타내었다 (P < 0.05). 나머지 ERG반응들은 나이와 성별에 영향을 받지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

중학생, 고등학생 및 대학생의 스마트폰 의존도 영향요인 비교: 제7차 한국 아동청소년 패널조사 자료를 바탕으로 (Comparison of Factors related to Smartphone Dependency among Middle School, High School, and College Students based on the Seventh Korean Children and Youth Panel Survey)

  • Purpose: This study investigated differences in the relationships of factors including emotional problems, self-perception, parental behavior, and peer attachment with smartphone dependency (SD) among middle school, high school, and college students in South Korea. Methods: This study used data from a nationwide sample of 1,882 middle school, 1,821 high school, and 1,346 college students who owned smartphones. Descriptive statistics and multiple regression analysis were conducted to investigate the predictors of SD based on school level. Results: SD scores significantly differed across school levels. Female gender, more aggressive behavior, less ego-identity, and less monitoring parental behavior were linked to higher SD at all school levels. Less self-esteem and intrusive parental behavior were linked to SD in middle school students. In high school students, additional factors related to higher levels of SD were resilience, intrusive / inconsistent parental behavior, peer trust and alienation, and depression. Additionally, resilience, over-expectant parental behavior, and peer trust were linked to higher SD in college students. Conclusion: This study provides insights into SD and predictors of SD among middle school, high school, and college students. Based on these findings, SD prevention programs should be developed according to the developmental stages of adolescents and young adults.

Chinese Consumers' Intention to Use Re-Commerce Platforms - Perspective Based on the Extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT2) -

  • Contemporary consumers' acceptance of second-hand products has been increasingly improving worldwide, especially in China. Based on the Extended Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology, we developed and empirically validated a research framework to predict consumers' motivation to use re-commerce platforms. We explored the diverse factors influencing mobile commerce usage through re-commerce platforms. Furthermore, this study investigated the role of gender differences as a factor moderating the association between several constructs and the intention to use re-commerce platforms. A total of 226 consumer responses were collected. The results indicated that hedonic motivation, performance expectancy, consumer habits, social influence, and price value affect consumers' attitudes toward re-commerce platforms. The effects of the attitude toward re-commerce platforms on the intention to use these platforms were also statistically significant. When effort expectancy, hedonic motivation, and consumer habits in re-commerce platform usage increase, male consumers' attitude toward its usage, in particular, also increases. Meanwhile, when performance expectancy, hedonic motivation, and consumer habits in re-commerce platform usage increase, the attitude toward its usage increases among female consumers. Moreover, our results indicate that the two gender groups present different characteristics regarding re-commerce platform usage. Therefore, this study offers a theoretical basis for future analyses of second-hand trade.

방글라데시의 고양이 백혈병 바이러스의 감염율 조사 (Prevalence of Feline Leukemia Virus Infection in Cats in Bangladesh)

  • 고양이 백혈병 바이러스(feline leukemia virus, FeLV)는 전 세계적으로 고양이의 가장 일반적이고 중요한 전염성 질환 중 하나이며, 다른 어떤 전염병 보다 고양이에 폐사를 일으키는 중요한 전염병이다. 방글라데시에 있어서 이 질병의 이환율은 집에서 기르는 고양이나 집을 나간 야생 고양이에 대한 예방, 관리, 치료 방침을 정하는데 중요한 자료를 제시할 것이다. 이 연구는 신속 면역크로마토그라피 분석법을 이용한 RapiGEN$^{(R)}$ FeLV 항원검사 키트(RapiGEN$^{(R)}$ Inc., 대한민국)를 사용하여 방글라데시 Mymensingh 지역의 FeLV의 감염률을 조사하기 위해 수행되었다. 총 130마리 고양이(23마리 집에서 기르는 고양이와 107마리의 집을 나간 야생 고양이)의 혈액 샘플은 제조 업체의 사용법에 따라 수집 및 검사를 수행하였다. FeLV 감염의 전체 유병률은 1.54%(2마리/130마리)이었으며, 감염률은 1세 미만의 고양이에서는 1.79%(2마리/112마리)로 나타났으며, 1세 이상의 고양이에서는 모두 음성이었다. 수컷과 암컷의 감염률은 각각 1.72%(1마리/58마리), 1.39%(1마리/72마리)로 나타났다. 집에서 기르는 고양이에 있어서는 모두 음성이었으나 집을 나간 야생 고양이에 있어서 감염률은 1.87%로 나타났다. FeLV 양성은 모두 임상증상이 나타나는 고양이에서 발견되었다. 이 연구결과에 있어서는 성별, 소유 및 건강 상태에 따라 유의한 상관관계가 있는 것은 아니었다. 이 연구결과는 방글라데시에서 FeLV 감염률에 대한 처음 보고이며, 이 검사 방법에 사용한 신속 면역크로마토그라피 분석법을 활용한 항원검사 키트는 저렴하고, 빠른 검사로 결과를 얻을 수 있는 장점이 있어서 임상에 적용하기에 효과적인 것으로 판단된다.

Studies on the Concentrations of Cd, Pb, Hg and Cr in Dog Serum in Korea

  • Heavy metal pollution has become a serious health concern in recent years. Dogs are a very good indicator of the pollution load on the environment. They share people's environment and are exposed to the action of the same pollutants. This study estimated the heavy metal contents in the serum of dogs in domestic districts, and assessed the age, sex, feeding habits, living area, breeding environment and smoking habit of the owners. The findings suggest that dogs can be used to monitor the environmental quality of heavy metals. The mean concentrations of heavy metals in the dog serum from 204 samples (108 male and 96 female) were 0.22${\pm}$0.01 $\mu$g/ml, 0.24${\pm}$0.04 $\mu$g/ml, 0.61${\pm}$0.08 $\mu$g/ml, and 0.50${\pm}$0.06 $\mu$g/ml (for Cd, Hg, Pb, and Cr), respectively. Concentrations of Pb, Cd, Hg, and Cr in the dog serum were higher in Yeongnam including Ulsan, and Seoul higher than those of Chungchong and Honam, especially Pb concentration, which was significantly higher (p<0.01). Concentrations of Cd, Hg, Pb, and Cr in serum, were increased by age (p<0.05). When commercial pet food was provided to dogs, Cd and Cr concentrations were significantly higher in dog serum than dogs fed a human diet (p<0.01 in Cd and p<0.05 in Cr). Heavy metal concentrations of dogs owned by smoking owners, were higher than non-smoking owners although there was no significant difference.
