공작기계설계 지원 시스템 개발 -이송계 서보모터 선정에의 적용 (Development of the Expert system of Selecting a Servo-Motor in Feed Drive Unit of a Machiing Center)

  • In this paper, we developed an expert system that helped a machine-tool designer to select a moderate servomotor of the feed drive unit of a machine tool. With the specification of the drive unit, it searches for the set of servo-motors that have enough torque and power to satisfy the driving condition which the designer defines from the database. me database also contains knowledge and rules, which describe the design process and calculate design parameters of a feed drive. The knowledge-based design support module shows every steps of inference and reason for the solution that it provides.

  • Direct drive linear motors have large potential for use as high speed machine tool feed units since they can increase machining rates and improve servo accuracy by eliminating gear related machining problems. So, in this paper, characteristic of 2-axis linear motor feed unit are studied and control gain are adjusted considering positioning, velocity, acceleration and static stiffness. We confirm linear motor feed unit are affected value of control gain sensitively, because drive directly. From the experiment, this feed unit has l${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ micro step resolution, 5.7${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ positioning accuracy and under 60${\mu}{\textrm}{m}$ circularity.

  • It can be acquired the high effective productivity through of high speed, precision of machine tools, and then, machine tools will be got a competitive power. Industrially advanced countries already developed that the high speed feed is 60m/min using the high speed ball screw. Also, a lot of problems have happened the feed drive system. It is necessary to study about the characteristics of thermal deformation played a more critical role than static stiffness and dynamic rigidity in controlling the level of machining accuracy. In spite of the improving the thermal deformation characteristics of machine tools at the design stage, there are always some residual errors that have to be compensated for during machining. In this study, thermal deformation error automated compensation device with multiple linear regression is proposed that thermal deformation error can be eliminated at the machining stage. The developed device has been practically applied to the feed drive unit.

Development of A Feed Shaft Driving System Using The Fifth Wheel as a Speed Sensor

  • In order to maintain a constant ratio between the ground wheel and fed shaft of planters, a feedback control unit was designed to drive the feed shaft in proportional to the ground speed. The fifth wheel was used as a ground speed sensor for the control unit. Using this control unit a feed shaft driving system was developed and tested both in the laboratory and field to evaluate it performance . The test results showed that the system drove the feed shaft in proportional to the ground speed in the normal planting speed range of 0.5 -0.8m/s with an error of less than 5%.

주축속도변동을 이용한 공기회전축식 미세구멍가공의 감시제어 (Monitoring and Control of the Air Spindle Based Microdrilling Using Spindle Speed Variations)

  • Microdrilling is one of the most difficult operations because of the poor chip discharge and the weakness of tool. This study is concerned about the development of a microdrilling monitoring system that is useful for minimizing the tool breakage and enhancing the machinability in the air spindle based microdrilling. The system is composed of a drilling state detection unit and an adaptive step-feed control unit that controls the micro-stepping motor driven spindle axis. Drilling states such as overload, tood breakage are recognized by the change of the air spindle speed which is measured via the reflective photo sensor. Based on the monitoring results, the adaptive step-feed control algorithm adjusts the step increment to keep the decrease of spindle speed within a specified range. The results of evaluation tests have shown that the developed system is very effective to prevent the breakage of microdrill and improves the productivity in comparison with the conventional microdrilling.

PLC 출력 구동을 위한 Wired Logic for Type Unit에 관한 연구 (A Study on Wired LogiC for Type Unit for PLC Output Driving)

  • 본 논문은 온도센서 RSD. Pt 100Ω의 감지신호가 Temperature Controller의 릴레이 출력을 발생시키고 PLC 입력접점으로 입력시켜 1Scan Time으로 연산된 PLC 출력을 접점 P030에 Interface Unit를 연결시키므로 부하를 구동시키는 개발장비인 Wired Logic Type Unit에 대해서 기술하였다. 현재 PLC 교육장에서 프로그램 되어진 PLC가 부하를 구동시킬 수 있는 국내의 교육 PLC Test Kit로는 PLC와 부하 사이에 Interface 과정이 무시된 상태에서 PLC의 교육을 하도록 되어있다. 개발 키 트는 이 점을 보안하기 위해서 각종 센서 중 전자에서 언급한 온도 센서 Pt 100Ω을 이용한 온도 제어기의 릴레이 출력이 PLC 입력으로 피드백 되었을 때, 연산된 PLC 출력접점에 WLTU를 삽입시켜 PC, PLC와 부하 사이에 실시간 시스템으로 구동 시킬 수 있는 설비로, PLC 사용의 핵심원리를 쉽게 이해하고 알아 볼 수 있었다. 부하 Interface Unit인 WLTU의 구성은 구동 부분인 유 접점, 무접점, 센서, 지시 등, A접점, B접점 부하인 Motor로 나누었다.

로드셀과 토크암을 이용한 대용량 토크 측정장치 개발에 관한 연구 (Development of device measuring very high torque via torque arm with attached load cells)

  • A measurement of very high torque for track drive unit in construction equipment is usually in difficulties due to the requirement of a torque meter with high capacity, and the limitation of geometry for an experimental set-up. To improve the troublesome problem, a new device was proposed, where a torque transmitted through the torque arm can be measured by load cells attached at each torque arm. The experimental set-up of the new device was carried out in order to measure the torque values for a mechanical feedback type planetary gear box, in which the power flow circulates itself in a closed-loop. The new device enables to measure torque values of 60,000Nm. Additionally, the measured values were estimated statistically in the aspect of their repeatability and reproducibility, so that an acceptable behaviour as a measuring device can be confirmed.

  • 본 연구에서는 실험을 통해 PLC와 하부장치들 사이에 RS -485 직렬 통신방식의 네트웍을 이용한 정보 교환에 있어 잡음 손실이나 왜곡현상이 매우 낮다는 것을 보였다. 제시한 네트웍 방법과 알고리즘에 의해 동작하는 PLC의 효율과 작업 능력을 기반으로 작업장을 분화하여 필요한 작업을 배치한 방법은 매우 효과적이고 편리하며 유용한 정보를 제공하였다. 보다 정확한 정보의 축척과 높은 효율을 위해 본 실험에서 제시한 알고리즘과 운용방법을 각 목장에 활용할 때에는 사용자나 관리자의 요구에 따라 데이터를 통한 계측장비의 교정과 함께 수정이 필요하겠다. 하지만 무엇보다 PLC를 이용한 축산자동화를 통해 사양관리에 필요한 생체 계측 정보를 착유와 동시에 자동으로 다량 획득하여 데이터 전자 문서파일로 보관함으로서, 긴 시간의 지연 없이 사양관리 감독자에게 제공할 수 있는 방법적 해결에 유용성과 신속성을 보였고 사용자나 관리자가 필요한 작업을 수행할 때에 매일 반복적인 작업에 대한 보조적 역할을 하거나 착유 시설과 급이 시설에 완전한 자동화 무인화를 위한 보조적 장비로서 필요한 시설과 정보를 제공하는 것이 가능함을 확인하였다.
