A comparative study on iPhone 6 Plus and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 from Vietnamese consumer perception

  • The objective of this research is to analyze the product innovation aspect in two comparable smartphones and partly illustrate perception and preference of Vietnamese consumers of two smartphone lines of Apple - iPhone 6 Plus and Samsung - Samsung Galaxy Note 4. The research tries to clarify which innovative features in two smartphones are more preferable to a group of consumer in Vietnam. The reason why the research studies iPhone 6 Plus and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 when iPhone 7 and Samsung Galaxy Note 7 have just released is that passing more than one year is enough time for consumers to totally experience both 2 smartphone lines to give the most precise and truthful evaluation for their preferences. Moreover, iPhone 6 Plus launch signed one of the most historical memorable landmark in the development process of iPhone products when it introduced larger-screen iPhone model for the first time. It is such an important change of iPhone which could open a new continuing successful era for Apple and iPhone. The first phase of this study involves analyzing strengths and weaknesses existed considering the opportunities and threats from the competitive market, then a competitive advantage analysis is implemented for each product. The second phase conducts a survey with Vietnamese participants from different backgrounds, by which a Mann-Whitney U test will be executed to check the significant difference in opinions in different respondent groups by age and by gender to several features of two smartphones. By conducting the survey, some interesting facts revealed with the winner seemingly falling into iPhone 6 Plus. However, it still reveals some significant difference among respondent groups by age and by gender to both iPhone 6 Plus and Samsung Galaxy Note 4 in several comparing features.

자연 재해로 인한 피해 경감을 위한 구호 물류 거점 계획에 대한 연구 (Study on the Facility Planning for Relief Logistics Relieving Damage from Natural Disaster)

  • 최근 들어 자연재해의 빈도 및 강도가 늘어나고 있으며, 이에 따른 피해 역시 늘어남에 따라, 재난 현장에 대한 대응이 점차 중요해지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 피해를 경감하기 위한 구호 물류에서 큰 비중을 차지하는 부분인 물류 거점의 위치와 규모를 선정하기 위한 연구를 수행하였다. 구호 물류에서의 거점은 물자의 비축을 수행하는 일반 물류 거점의 기능 외에도 이재민 수용, 부상자 응급 처치 등 다양한 기능을 겸비해야 하며, 거점의 위치를 선정하는 기준 역시 거리 외의 거점의 신뢰도 및 주변 환경의 위험성을 고려하여야 한다. 본 연구에서는 이를 위하여 IoT 센서를 이용하여 정보를 파악하기 위한 체계를 제안하였다. 또한 재난물류 거점문제는 다양한 수요에 대응하기 위한 기능의 배치에 대한 고려 역시 포함하여야 한다. 이를 풀이하기 위하여, 혼합정수계획 모델에 기반을 둔 알고리즘을 제시하였고, 재해 발생 시나리오를 고려한 시뮬레이션 실험을 통하여 모델의 성능을 검증하였다.

고객의 비재무적 가치를 이용한 네트워크 타겟팅에 관한 연구 (The Study on the Network Targeting Using the Non-financial Value of Customer)

  • 본 연구는 소비자 간에 형성되는 사회적 네트워크와 데이터 기반의 마케팅 기법을 적용하여 소비자의 비재무적 가치를 찾아내고, 이를 마케팅에 적용함으로써 마케팅 활동의 효율성을 제고하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 소비자의 인식과 구전 효과에 큰 영향을 받으며, 관여도가 높은 에센스 화장품 소비자를 대상으로 실증분석하였다. 실증분석 결과, 첫째, 에센스 소비자의 세분시장은 여러 개의 서로 상이한 네트워크를 형성하고 있으며, 이들 각 네트워크 내에는 연결(degree centrality) 및 매개중심(closeness centrality)이 되는 소비자가 존재하는 것으로 분석되었다. 두번째, 연결 및 매개 중심성이 높은 고객들이 주변 고객에게 영향을 미치고 있는 것으로 나타나, 이들이 기업의 수익을 촉진시키는 비재무적 가치가 있는 것으로 판단되었다. 마지막으로 국외산 제품별 및 인구통계적 특성별로 에센스 화장품 소비시장의 네트워크 구조에는 차이가 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서 네트워크 타겟팅에 있어서도 이와 같은 특성을 상호보완적으로 활용할 필요가 있음을 시사하고 있다.

지수치를 이용한 노년 여성의 상반신 체형 분류와 판별에 관한 연구 (Upper Body Somatotype Classification and Discrimination of Elderly Women according to Index)

  • The aim of this study is to provide fundamental data on the development of ready-to-wear clothes appropriate for the body types of elderly women. The study was conducted targeting 318 elderly women over 60 years of age whose fields of action were colleges for the elderly, sports centers, or business sites in Seoul and the neighboring districts. A total of 44 features in the upper body were used for the anthropometric measurement and analysis using anthropometry and photometry. The results of the study are as follows: 1. Somatotypes were classified into three types according to a cluster analysis using height and weight indices. Type 1 is the group with long and undersized upper body and straight body type since the face of the upper body is long relative to height and width, girth and depth are the smallest relative to weight, the breasts are somewhat fat, with a small extent of drooping and a straight back. Type 2 is the group that is considered fat relative to the body, has broad shoulders, drooping breasts with a wide space between them, and a back-bent upper body. Type 3 is the group that has a bent shape, the shortest upper body relative to height, and showing average obesity factors. 2. Indices of height and weight were used for factor analysis, cluster analysis, and discriminant analysis in order to classify upper body somatotype according to shape while excluding size factors of elderly women's upper body somatotype. The same method was used to compare and verify the result according to the absolute measurement and height index. Classification based on height and weight indices demonstrate that such somatotype classification minimizes the personal equation of body shape and it induces better classification based on shape as the results showed the highest cumulative sum of square(CUSUM) at 78.38% while six factors showed the smallest result and the hit rate for the classified three groups showed the highest result at 95.30%.

패션 추천서비스 알고리즘에서 상품유형과 속성 조합의 영향 (Influence of product category and features on fashion recommendation service algorithm)

  • The online fashion market in the 21st century has shown rapid growth. Against this backdrop, using consumer activity data to provide customized customer services has emerged as a viable business model that draws attention. Algorithm-based personalized recommendation services are a good example. But their application in fashion products has clear limitations. It is not easy to identify consumers' perceptions of the attributes of fashion, which are various, hard to define, and very sensitive to trends. So there is a need to compile data on consumers' underlying awareness and to carry out defined research to increase the utilization of such services in the fashion industry and further engage consumers. This research aims to classify the attributes and types of fashion products and to identify consumers' perceptions of a given situation where a recommendation service is offered. To find out consumers' perceptions of and satisfaction with recommendation services, an online and mobile survey was conducted on women in their 20s and 30s, a group that uses recommendation services frequently. A total of 455 responses were used for analysis. SPSS 28.0 was used, combined with Conjoint Analysis and multiple regression, to analyze data. The study results could provide insights into a better understanding of recommendation services and be used as basic data for companies to identify consumers' preferences and draw up a detailed strategy for market segmentation.

지역 주민 주체의 농촌지역 경관관리 사례 연구 - 일본 오사카부를 중심으로 - (A Case Study on Rural Landscape Management based on the Resident Participation in Osaka Prefecture, Japan)

  • Four requirements for the operating and supporting system for sustainable landscape management will be discussed through this paper. The requirements are based on multiple case studies on the structure and the process of development of three organizations that have been contributing to the sustainable rural landscape management in Japan since 1989. The first requirement is that the residents should recognize regional problems and voluntarily organize a group which can properly deal with the problems. Secondly, members of the organization should have a solid grasp of the goal of their activities (or founding principal of the organization) and share it among themselves. Founding principal should include the history of natural circulation system in the area, cultural features and a future plan in association with human resources. Thirdly, the administration of the organization should be separated from the founder, the residents. The administration, such as business promotion, becomes more effective when consigned to a separate entity, not to the residents. Lastly, the interaction among separate entities is crucial to promote diverse activities for the local landscape management. The administrators and experts need to cooperate to draw a precise conclusion regarding the way of interaction. These requirements drawn from the Japanese case studies should be localized to the Korean circumstances for further adoption.

  • The visualization of three dimensional geophysical data is forcing a revolution in the way of working, and allowing the discovery and production of hydrocarbons at much lower costs than previously thought possible. There are many aspects of this revolution that are behind the scenes, such as the database structure, the storage and retrieval of data, and the exchange of data among programs. Also the user had changes where the interpreter (or manager, or processor) actually looks at and somehow interacts with the data. The use of opacity in volume rendering, and how its judicious application can assist in imaging geologic features in three dimensional seismic data. This revolutionary development of new technology is based on the philosophy of synergy of inter-disciplines of the oil industry. Group interaction fostered by large room visualization environments enables the integration of disciplines we strive for, by putting the petrophysicist, geologist, geophysicist, and reservoir engineer in one place, looking at one image together, without jargon or geography separating them. All these tools developed in the oil industry can be applied into the civil engineering industry also such as the prior geological and geophysical survey of the constructions. Many examples will show how three dimensional geophysical technology might make a revolution in the oil business industry now and in future. This change can be considered as a fusion process at data, information, and knowledge levels.

지수치를 이용한 노년 여성의 하반신 체형 유형화에 관한 연구 (Lower Body Somatotype Classification and Discrimination of Elderly Women According to Index)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the basic data on the development of ready-to-wear clothing for the elderly women as the population of the elderly has been constantly increasing as well as the purchasing power of the aged. The body measurements of 318 elderly women were taken. whose ages were over 60 years and enrolled in colleges for the elderly. sports centers. or business sites in Seoul and the neighboring districts. A total of 39 features in the lower body were used for the anthropometric measurement and analysis. The results of the study are as follows: 1. Indices of height and weight were used for factor analysis. cluster analysis, and discriminant analysis in order to 'classify lower body somatotype according to shape, excluding size factors. From the results of the factor analysis. the 5 factors showed the cumulative sum of square at 75.63%. 2. Somatotype were classified into two types according to a cluster analysis using height and weight dices. Type 1 is the group is relatively tall and has somewhat fat lower limbs. Type 2 is considered fat and has obesity factors around waist and abdomen area. The hit rate for the classified two groups showed the result at 95.9%.

인적자원, 전공, 산업융합의 구조: 비대칭 이분네트워크의 활용 (A Human Resource Perspective on the Industrial Convergence: An Unbalanced Bipartite Network Approach)

  • 산업융합의 거시적 양상을 다루는 기존 연구는 주로 지식과 기술이 구체화된 특허나 재화/서비스의 산업간 네트워크에 초점을 두었다. 이 논문은 지식과 기술을 체화한 인적자원이 산업과 직업의 융합을 주도하는 또 하나의 중요한 매개체라고 본다. 최근 5개년도 GOMS 자료에 나타난 대졸자 전공 및 일자리 정보를 활용하여 산업(직업)융합의 거시적 양상과 그 구조를 이해하기 위한 분석전략을 제시한다. 구체적으로 전공과 일자리 정보를 토대로 전공↔산업(직업)의 비대칭 이분네트워크를 구축하고, 산업(직업)의 적소범위, 관련 전공의 평균 적소범위라는 두 축을 교차하여 전문주의, 종합주의, 국지적 융합, 융합 등 총 4가지 산업(직업)군을 분류하였다. 융합산업(직업)은 특정 분야에서 국지적 융합성이 높은 다수의 전공으로부터 인적자원을 폭넓게 공급받는 산업(직업)이라고 볼 수 있다. 탐색적 분석결과를 토대로 함의를 도출하고 향후 과제를 제시한다.

중년 남성의 체형별 셔츠원형 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of Shirts Pattern for Middle Aged Men's Body Shapes)

  • The purpose of this study is to measure middle aged men's bodies around the ages of thirty-five through filly-five, whose age-group undergoes drastic changes on their body shapes. Further, body shapes are grouped based on the measurements, and pattern making methods are presented in order to effectively make up for the undesirable body features of middle-aged men. In order to develop patterns fit for middle aged men's body shapes, the regression which reflects physical characteristics was applied for the experimental shirts pattern, instead of comparative patterns which applies the same equation. For the two body types classified above(Bend-forward Type and Lean-back Type), correlation among the factors necessary for pattern design was considered and the regression was formularized accordingly. To validate the regression, the same amount of ease as in the comparative patterns was applied to the chest girth, and reasonable ease to the armhole depth and neck girth. In this way, experimental shirts patterns fit for the body types were developed. After the modification through the wearing test, the experimental shirts pattern was completed as herein.
