Objective: The aim of this study was to investigate the difference of perception on direct-to-consumer advertisement (DTCA) of prescription drugs between healthcare providers and consumers. Methods: The online and offline survey was conducted from May 26th to June 5th, 2013. The questionnaire was composed of 15 items about perception on DTCA of prescription drugs. Results: A total of 215 healthcare providers and 202 consumers responded to the questionnaire. Consumers had an overall positive attitude on permitting DTCA of prescription drugs and carried favorable views about the influence of the DTCA of prescription drugs on providing drug information, promoting communications between healthcare providers and consumers, and improving images of healthcare providers. Healthcare providers displayed negative perception for the needs of permitting the DTCA of prescription drugs compared to consumers. They showed somewhat skeptical perception about the influence of the DTCA of prescription drugs on necessities and efficiencies of delivering drug information, promoting communications between healthcare providers and consumers, and improving images of healthcare providers. Both healthcare providers and consumers were concerned about the increase of drug prices following the increase in advertisement expenses of pharmaceutical products. Conclusion: This study identified the perception differences on direct-to-consumer advertisements of prescription drugs between healthcare providers and consumers. This study could be of much help in the process of review on permitting DTCA of prescription drugs in Korea.

The purpose of this study is to understand of future image in fashion for 20C, to suggest a guideline's role in the development on fashion designs study. The methods of this study are used academic literatures as well as practical study. Futuristic image in fashion is to introduce about the future period, as fashion goes ahead times. Trends and formative characteristics of future image in 20C fashion are summarized as follows. First, futuristic images in fashion for 20C had emerged strongly futurism, space look, kinetic look, glitter look, techno look, cyber look. Second, perspectives on response for future society's changes are summarized as follows. Attitude of futuristic images of fashion, futurism, space look, kinetic look and glitter look, had been favorable about future society's changes until 1980. In 1990, techno look had been defensive and cyber look had been aggressive about future society's changes. Third, formative characteristics of future image in 20C fashion are studied shape, material, color, pattern. Shape was preferred linear and geometric form in the first half of the 20C, but body conscious type had appeared often in the second half of 20C. Material maintained the luster or the metal touch. Color was based image of colorless and preferred the gold, silver or color feels like metal. Pattern was preferred clarity with geometric type in the first half of the 20C. On the other hand in the second half of 20C pattern of future image was dominated by vague and abstract chaotic type.
We conducted a systematic review to summarize providers' attitudes toward pay-for-performance (P4P), focusing on their general attitudes, the effects of P4P, their favorable design and implementation methods, and concerns. An electronic search was performed in PubMed and Scopus using selected keywords including P4P. Two reviewers screened target articles using titles and abstract review and then read the full version of the screened articles for the final selections. In addition, one reference of screened articles and one unpublished report were also included. Therefore, 14 articles were included in this study. Healthcare providers' attitudes on P4P were summarized in two ways. First, we gathered their general attitudes and opinions regarding the effects of P4P. Second, we rearranged their opinions regarding desirable P4P design and implementation methods, as well as their concerns. This study showed the possibility that some healthcare providers still have a low level of awareness about P4P and might prefer voluntary participation in P4P. In addition, they felt that adequate quality indicators and additional support for implementation of P4P would be needed. Most healthcare providers also had serious concerns that P4P would induce unintended consequences. In order to conduct successful implementation of P4P, purchaser should make more efforts such as increasing providers' level of awareness about P4P, providing technical and educational support, reducing their burden, developing a cooperative relationship with providers, developing more accurate quality measures, and minimizing the unintended consequences.
Microturbomachinery (< 250 kW) using gas foil bearings can function without oil lubricants, simplify rotor-bearing systems, and demonstrate excellent rotordynamic stability at high speeds. State-of-the-art technologies generally use bump foil bearings or leaf foil bearings due to the specific advantages of each of the two types. Although these two types of bearings have been studied extensively, there are very few studies on leaf-bump foil bearings, which are a combination of the two aforementioned bearings. In this work, we illustrate a simple mathematical model of the leaf-bump foil bearing with leaf foils supported on bumps, and predict its static and dynamic performances. The analysis uses the simple elastic model for bumps that was previously developed and verified using experimental data, adds a leaf foil model, and solves the Reynolds equation for isothermal, isoviscous, and ideal gas fluid flow. The model predicts that the drag torques of the leaf-bump foil bearings are not affected significantly by static load and bearing clearance. Due to the preload effect of the leaf foils, rotor spinning, even under null static load, generates significant hydrodynamic pressure with its peak near the trailing edge of each leaf foil. A parametric study reveals that, while the journal eccentricity and minimum film thickness decrease, the drag torque, direct stiffness, and direct damping increase with increasing bump stiffness. The journal attitude angle and cross-coupled stiffness remain nearly constant with increasing bump stiffness. Interestingly, they are significantly smaller compared to the corresponding values obtained for bump foil bearings, thus, implying favorable rotor stability performance.

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to analyze sexual permissiveness in order to solve the problems it creates for setting up desirable sexual culture. Methods: This study used Walker and Avant's methods for concept analysis. Results: Sexual permissiveness is the favorable attitude that is agreed upon and accepted as physiological, socio-cultural, and moral sexuality of an independent human who was born in man or woman. The property of sexual permissiveness that is accepted overall the humans are sex generously, change over the course of growth. sex consciousness, and attitudes toward sexual activity change based on race, age and religion etc. The values and beliefs of individuals that were formed in social and cultural background are bipolar. It is mutually agreed upon and accepted that volunarary activities should be spontaneous. The antecedents of sexual permissiveness included achievement of sexual development, establishment of the relationship, and mutual agreement between them. The consequences included mature relationship with others, meeting sexual needs, and raising sexual problems. Conclusions: These results suggest further studies are required that refine the diverse attributes of the concept of sexual permissiveness. The sexual education and enlightenment should be conducted at the period of secondary sex character.
Purpose In an online e-commerce environment without face-to-face contact between the seller and the buyer, the attitudes of consumers differ greatly depending on which framing strategy is applied, even in cases when the benefits of the deals represent the same value. The purpose of this study is to explore the effects of price-framing and message-framing strategies on consumer attitudes through an experimental analysis in the context of online travel product purchasing. This study suggests a research model based on prospect theory and prior literature on price-framing and message-framing strategies. Design/methodology/approach The experiment was structured as a 2 (discount price presentation: 'Won' vs. '%') ${\times}$ 2 (discount level: low vs. high) ${\times}$ 2 (time-limit message: none vs. one) mixed design. The research hypotheses were tested in a study of 200 undergraduate and graduate students assigned randomly and distributed evenly to each of the eight cells. Findings The findings indicate that consumer attitudes become more favorable when the '%' discount, higher discount rate, and time-limit message are presented. However, no significant interaction effect is found between the discount price presentation and the discount level/time-limit message. This study has a theoretical implication in that it extends the scope of research by examining the influence of framing strategies on experience goods such as online travel products. Moreover, this study can provide managers with more specific guidelines when establishing framing strategies in the context of purchasing online travel products.
One important online marketing practice to emerge in recent years is online behavioral advertising. Online behavioral advertising entails a range of issues, including the following: personal information collection and usage agreements (three conditions: no agreement, agreement, or agreement with a reward), consumers' levels of perceived personalization (low vs. high), and consumers' level of online privacy concerns (low vs. high). The effects of all these is what this study is designed to examine, as it evaluates online behavioral advertising. Study findings suggest that types of information collection and usage agreement play a pivotal role in the evaluation of online behavioral ads. Individuals who provided the informed consent form with the possible reward had a more favorable attitude toward the brand than individuals who provided the informed consent form without a possible reward. In terms of personalization, the level of perceived personalization of the advertising message impacted consumers' attitudes toward the online behavioral ad and toward the brand. Finally, online privacy concerns appear to impact consumers' attitudes toward the online behavioral ad and toward the brand. Theoretical and practical implications are also discussed.
This study looks at the social implications of gaming disorder by considering the situation in Korea. Focusing on specificity of game genres, this study analyzed two aspects of the game playing effect-positive(cognitive needs) and negative(game addiction)-and suggested directions for game regulation policies and game addiction studies, since game playing effects are closely related to game regulatory policy. To analyze game effects and attitudes to regulations, this study performed regression analysis based on the online survey. Results show that game playing effects and attitudes toward game regulation differ based on the nature of game genres. While longer gaming increased the effect of addiction, it also increased cognitive needs. Playing roleplaying, Aeon of Strife, and strategy game genres(RAS), which are subject to game regulation, increased game addiction levels but simultaneously contributed to increased cognitive needs. While playing augmented reality genres positively affected cognitive needs, it also showed favorable attitudes to general game regulation.

The purpose of this study is to compare food habits of four institution(public boarding home, public mursing home, private boarding home, meal service in welfare center) in Pusan, Korea. Data were collected from 119 of were more than 65 years in the above institutions. Chi-square test was the main data analysis method. More than a quarter of the respondents(27%) showed fairly good level of activity, while a half of them(52.9%) answered the middle level. More than 80 percent of the respondents reported that their food attitude was "Good". There were more elderly women than elderly men among the four institutions. Although the four institutions have served snacks on the regular basis, they did not provide the residents with nutritious food. Most of the residents want to have snacks between meals, but they did not perfer candy. All the subjects didn't point out any particular problem of institution. They were accustomed with their old food served by their institution. As food perferences, almost all of the respondents preferred cooked rice and cooked rice with cereals. Only the residents of private boaring home liked cooked rice with red bean. In case of soup, all of residents liked any kind of soup. The most preferred most menu was beef. But only residents of private boarding home did not like pork. All residents like any all kind of kimchi except kimchi made by radish. In preference of cooking method of a side dish, seasoned food and vegetables were the most favorable menu by the respondents. Compared to the private home, the institutions give residents effective plan to prepare meals. Even though this study tried to find differences in attitudes of dietary life among the institutions, it could not find any meaningful difference among them. Korean elders in the institutions seem to have no proper that they do not have any proper sense of evaluating their dietary life.
Recently, the importance of ISP(Information System Planning) has been increased because of rapid change and severe competition in business environments. Furthermore, the role of IS in the organization has included not only the supportive activities but also the strategic activities. Organizations can get the competitive advantages through the strategic use of IT by establishing effective and systematic ISP implementation. The main focus of this study is investigate the relationship among three subunits(organizational factors, the role of IS and effective ISP) based on the contingent settings which the process of ISP is implemented. The reasons that conceptual framework of this study is based on the contingent theory are as follow: First, ISP process itself has a series of complicated work which various elements in a company are involved. ISP externally must have the process to evaluate information technology (technology related with IS). Internally ISP process has a serious of works including determining information requirements to develop successful IS for other functional departments and identifying strategic opportunity of IS aligned with business strategy. Secondly, the activity of ISP is occurring on the continual basis. Business environments in which ISP process has implemented are changing continuously. Specific ISP methodology which was appropriate in a certain period of time does not work any more because of the rapid changes in business environments. For this reason managers can hardly expect successful ISP without considering external environments or internal environments such as organizational or management side. For this study, 240 survey questionnaires were mailed and 71 questionnaires were returned. 57 samples were used for the final analysis and 14 samples were excluded from analysis in that they didn't exercise official and systematic ISP. As the result of analysis, among the internal factors(organizational size, time frame of decision making, budget, management style, organizational culture) organizational culture, management style and time frame of decision making are identified as contingent factors on the effective ISP. The result of this study may have meaning in suggesting the way to develop effective ISP through the formalization of business process, more favorable users attitude toward IS and selection of an appropriate ISP methodology.
