Recently, as social media users have grown, the resulting form of advertising has emerged, and one of the types is native advertising. This advertising method appears to be 52% higher than the banner, according to a study by the IPG Media Lab (2013). Therefore, there is a positive effect on native advertising, but it is necessary to maximize the effect. In this paper, the acceptor's attitude to the native advertisement and the shared intention are verified as to how the effect of the native advertisement can be understood and the maximized effect can be obtained. When the brand phrase was in the form of direct exposure, the subjects were positive about the advertisement and the brand attitude was favorable. Share intentions were also high. These results included suggestions to produce native advertisements in consideration of the attitudes and sharing of the recipients.
Based on the Construal Level Theory, we aim to study a most favorable fit among the advertising model, media type, and message construals, which are important factors in an advertisement. A two (social distance of the ad model in an ad: distal (low similarity) vs proximal (high similarity) by two (social distance of a media type: distal (portal) vs. proximal (SNS)) by two (message construal: abstract vs concrete) laboratory experiment was conducted to examine attitude changes on ad messages. The results show that abstract messages were more effective in attitude toward advertisement and purchase intention under the distal social distance (i.e. advertising model in low-similarity and portal media type) while concrete messages were so under the proximal social distance and SNS media type.

The effect of environmental instruction on students\` environmental attitudes was studied in two environmental classes and one business class of university undergraduates. Changes in students\` environmental attitudes were assessed from a questionnaire survey administered before and after exposure to a 16 week course. The results indicated statistically significant differences in students\` attitudes toward the environment between the pretest and the posttest. The two environmental classes had the positive effect and the students exhibited more environmentally favorable attitudes. Accordingly, this study confirmed the positive effect of environmental instruction on attitudes toward the environment at a university level.
Purpose - Many variables are needed for brand loyalty such as brand attitude, brand attachment, brand love and brand commitment. Thus, we should manage these all variables successfully for strong and differentiated brand equity. This study aims to identify the process of how the brand value propositions affect the brand attitude and brand attachment. This study specially conceptualizes that not only utilitarian value and hedonic value influence the brand attitude but also hedonic value influences the brand attachment. This study focuses on the moderating role of consumer involvement such as cognitive involvement and affective involvement in the causal relationships among brand value propositions, brand attitude, and brand attachment. Research design, data, and methodology - The five hypotheses were proposed and tested in this study. Three hypotheses were about the relationship among the brand value propositions(utilitarian value and hedonic value), brand attitude, and brand attachment. The other two hypotheses were about the moderating effect on consumer involvement in the causal relationships among brand value propositions, brand attitude, and brand attachment. Research data were collected from the students of universities located in Daejeon-Si and Chungchungnam-Do. For the purpose of test the hypotheses empirically, the 208 responses were used. We utilized SPSS18.0 for statistical analysis such as reliability test, factor analysis, and regression analysis. Results - The results show that the utilitarian value and hedonic value have influence on the brand attitude positively. The results also show that the hedonic value has influence on the brand attachment positively. We found that there is a moderating effect on the cognitive involvement in the relationship between the utilitarian value and the brand attitude. However, there is no moderating effect on the affective involvement in the relationship between the hedonic value and brand attachment. In Summary, 4 of 5 hypotheses in this study were supported and 1 hypothesis was not supported. We should identify the reason why the hypothesis 5, the moderating effect of the affective involvement in the relationship between the hedonic value and brand attachment, was rejected in this empirical analysis. Conclusions - Both the utilitarian value and the hedonic value that propose a brand are important for brand attitude. Specially, the hedonic value is important for brand attachment. Companies should provide the consumers with both the utilitarian value and the hedonic value in a balanced way for their favorable brand attitude and strong brand attachment. In the retail industry, the balance between the utilitarian value and the hedonic value is important in that there are many product brands and store brands providing consumers with various benefit and values. Also, there are possibilities that the causal relationships among brand value propositions, brand attitude and brand attachment are moderated by consumer involvement such as cognitive involvement and affective involvement. Companies should understand and consider consumer involvement for their efficient and effective brand management decision making.

This study investigates the effects of a two-sided message on product attitude and purchase intention by using a message structure variable, such as attribute importance in the context of online consumer reviews (OCRs). Study 1 explains the previous inconsistent results of a two-side message by comparing a one-side message and a two-side message by using the attribute importance in negative reviews. Study 2 determines the reasons for the inconsistent results of a refutational two-sided message research by using the attribute importance in negative reviews and website trust. Two experiments are designed to test our hypotheses. The first experiment is a $2{\times}2$ factorial design with 84 participants. The second experiment uses a $2{\times}2{\times}2$ factorial design with 196 participants. In study 1, two-sided OCRs are more credible than one-sided OCRs, and two-sided OCRs that use low important attributes are more effective in making favorable product attitude/purchase intention. In study 2, refutational two-sided OCRs that use high attribute importance render positive effects on product attitudes in trustworthy websites. However, the refutation could negatively affect product attitude/purchase intention in low trustworthy websites.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of mass media and personal factors on attitudes towards plastic surgery and plastic surgery behavior. For this study the personal factors included concern for appearance, self-esteem, and body satisfaction. Subjects were 472 college students in Ulsan. The results showed that favorable attitudes towards plastic surgery were a little higher than the median, meaning that the respondents had a slightly positive attitude towards plastic surgery, and only 20% of the respondents had had an experience with plastic surgery. A multiple regression analysis was computed and indicated that a more positive attitudes towards plastic surgery was related to high levels of concern for appearance, more time watching TV, a higher household income, and being a female student, in terms of gender. The results of logit analysis indicated that a more positive attitude towards plastic surgery and being a female student related to a higher probability of having had plastic surgery.
This paper provides a review of the research on the relationship between consumer rumor and marketing management in general, and rumor's effects on brand in particular. Also corporations' efforts for managing negative rumor were discussed. In the subsequential article, this study analyzes the consumer's perception of the origin of rumors through contents analysis method, and performs ANOVA study in addition to identify if brand assets such as brand loyalty and brand involvement can affect rumor credibility perception significantly. Based on these results, this study considers some implications for brand crisis management and communications. According to the results, a brand rumor can affect both the corresponding brands and competitor's brands at a time and the relationships between existing favorable brand attitude of consumer and rumor credibility are not significant enough.
