신경회로망과 DWT를 이용한 고장표시기의 고장검출 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study for the Improvement of Fault Detection on Fault Indicator using DWT and Neural Network)

  • This paper presents research about improvement of fault detection algorithm in FRTU on the feeder of distribution system. FRTU(Feeder Remote Terminal Unit) is applied to fault detection schemes for phase fault, ground fault, and cold load pickup and Inrush restraint functions distinguish the fault current and the normal load current. FRTU is occurred FI(Fault Indicator) when current is over pick-up value also inrush current is occurred FRTU indicate FI. Discrete wavelet transform(DWT) analysis gives the frequency and time-scale information. The neural network system as a fault detector was trained to discriminate inrush current from the fault status by a gradient descent method. In this paper, fault detection is improved using voltage monitoring system with DWT and neural network. These data were measured in actual 22.9kV distribution system.

지능형 ESC 시스템을 위한 모델 기반 결함검출 (Model Based Fault Detection for Advanced ESC System)

  • This paper describes a model based fault detection algorithm for an Advanced ESC System which consists of Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) with built-in wheel pressure sensors. Advanced ESC System can be used for various value-added functions such as Stop & Go Function and Regenerative Brake Function. Therefore, HCU must have a reliable fault detection. Due to the huge amount of sensor signals, existing specific sensor based fault detection of HCU cannot guarantee the safety of vehicle. However, proposed algorithm dose not require the sensors. When model based fault detection algorithm detects severe failures of the HCU, it warns the driver in advance to prevent accidents due to the failures. For this purpose, a mathematical model is developed and validated in comparison to actual data. Simulation results and data acquired from an actual system are compared with each other to obtain the information needed for the fault detection process.

LAN 상의 장애 검출 및 위치 확인을 위한 규칙 기반 장애 진단 에이전트 시스템 (Rule-based Fault Detection Agent System for Fault Detection and Location on LAN)

  • This paper proposes the structure of an agent and rules for fault detection and location on LAN. To find out a reason of critical fault incurred LAN, collision detection rule, error detection rule, broadcast detection rule, system location rule, and Internet application location rule ar shown. Also, the structure of multi-agent system and state transition diagram is portrayed to have connectivity with he set of rules. To verify availability of proposed rules, the process to find a faulty system is shown by monitoring and analyzing the LAN fault occurrences from the proposed set of rules. Such an rule based agent system is helpful to an Internet manager to solve a reason of fault and make ad decision from gathering management information.

  • 시스템 특성상 fault tolerant system을 위해 두개의 컨버티를 1개의 전류센서를 사용하여 영상변류기 동적 방식으토 병렬 운전하는 경우 컨버터에 고자이 발생하면 영상변류기 출력은 두 컨버터 공급 전류 차이이므로, 어떤 컨버터에서 고장이 발생하였는지 고정 탐지 및 분리가 곤란히였다. 본 논문에사는 fault tolerant system를 위해 2 개의 컨버터를 병렬 운전하는 경우 캔버터의 고장 탐지 및 분리를 위한 방안올 제시하고 실험을 통하여 제안한 방법의 타당성을 확인하였다.

  • Fault detection and isolation(FDI) and reconfigurable flight control system provide better survivability even though actuator faults occur. In this study, a new fault detection and isolation algorithm is proposed using fuzzy logic. When the FDI system detects the actuator fault, the fuzzy logic investigates the state variables to find which actuator has fault. Proposed fuzzy detection algorithm detect not only a single fault but also multiple faults. After detecting the fault, the reconfigurable flight control system begins operating for compensating the effects of the fault. A numerical simulation using six degree-of-freedom nonlinear aircraft model is performed to verity the performance of the proposed fault detection and isolation scheme.

  • The GPS/INS integration system navigation can provide improved navigation performance and has been widely used as a main navigation system for military and commercial vehicles. When two navigation systems are tightly coupled and the structure is complicated, a fault in either the GPS or the INS can lead to a disastrous failure of the whole integration system. This paper proposes a real-time fault detection method for an AGPS/INS integration system. The proposed fault detection method comprises a BIT and a fault detection algorithm based on chi-square test. It is implemented by real-time software modules to apply the AGPS/INS integration system and van test is carried out to evaluate its performance.

  • In this paper, a fault tolerant control against sensor faults of electric parking brake (EPB) is proposed. Fault tolerant control method of EPB system is strongly demanded since sensor faults can endanger a driver's safety. In this paper, a clamp force estimation method is presented using motor's armature current and angular velocity. Clamp force estimation method is applied for fault detection method with parity equations. The goal of the detection method is to detect and identify faults in encoder, current sensor, force sensor, and parking cable. And a switching logic for fault tolerant control against the three sensor faults is suggested. Experimental results show that the proposed force estimation method satisfies the specifications of EPB system. The effectiveness of the fault detection method is validated with experimental results. Although a single sensor fault happens, EPB system with the proposed fault detection method does not develop into a failure on subsystem or system level.

  • 하드웨어 이중화 구성 수를 줄이는 대표적인 방법은 마이크로컨트롤러로 고장을 검출, 식별 및 수용을 위한 해석적 기법으로 구현하는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 해석적 기법 중 하나인 고장 검출 필터를 항공기 터보팬 엔진 시스템에 적용하였다. 고장 검출 필터는 특수한 형태의 관측기로써 특정한 고장 발생시 잔차가 출력 공간에서 일정한 방향을 유지함으로써 고장의 위치 판별이 가능한 장점이 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 터보팬 엔진 내 공기 터빈 시스템의 단일 입출력 동적 시스템 모델링, 고장 검출 필터 설계 및 이를 적용한 모의실험 결과를 나타내었다. 모의실험 결과를 통해 고장 검출 필터가 갖는 방향성에 대한 민감성 효과로 고장 검출이 유효하게 적용될 수 있음을 보였다.

누전, 아크, 과부하에 의한 전기화재 제어 시스템 보드의 구현 (The Implementation of the system-on-board controllable the electrical fires due to ground fault, arc fault and overload)

  • 누전, 아크 그리고 과부하로 인한 전기화재를 탐지하고 제어할 수 있는 시스템보드(system- on-board)를 구현하였다. 이를 위하여 화재방지제어 시스템 IC를 사용하였으며, 누설전류 검출을 위한 GF(ground fault)신호 검출회로, 아크(arc fault)신호 검출회로, 그리고 과전류가 발생할 경우 입력전압을 제어할 수 있는 과부하신호 검출회로를 설계하였다. GF신호 검출회로와 아크신호 검출회로는 누설전류와 아크신호에 각각 잘 동작하였으며, 과부하(overload) 신호 검출회로는 노이즈나 부하변동에 따른 오동작 없이 과부하시에만 동작함을 확인하였다.

  • This paper proposes a fault detection method for a Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) with overactuated system. Current status information for fault detection is expressed as a scalogram image. The scalogram image is obtained by wavelet-transforming the USV's control input and sensor information. The fault detection scheme is based on Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) algorithm. The previously generated scalogram data was transferred learning to GoogLeNet algorithm. The data are generated as scalogram images in real time, and fault is detected through a learning model. The result of fault detection is very robust and highly accurate.
