Enabling a fast annotation process with the Table2Annotation tool

  • In semantic annotation, semantic concepts are linked to natural language. Semantic annotation helps in boosting the ability to search and access resources and can be used in information retrieval systems to augment the queries from the user. In the research described in this paper, we aimed to identify ontological concepts in scientific text contained in spreadsheets. We developed a tool that can handle various types of spreadsheets. Furthermore, we used the NCBO Annotator API provided by BioPortal to enhance the semantic annotation functionality to cover spreadsheet data. Table2Annotation has strengths in certain criteria such as speed, error handling, and complex concept matching.

  • Important network application services have been rapidly increased along with the growth of the Internet. So, it is desirable for such applications to serve transparently, continuously and safely even if the network is temporally disconnected or certain hosts running those services are crashed down. To satisfy such requirementes, many group communication systems have been developed; but, those systems restrict its range within a single LAN or directly interconnected LAN environments since the communication through the Internet is too slow and too unreliable to support group communication. As of now, it is expected the Internet is going to e sufficiently fast and reliable in the near communication system, named FACE(Java Advanced Communication Environment), supporting Extended Virtual which is a basic communication layer, RPGS(Reliable Process Group Service) which manages application process groups, and JACE API for developing Java application services and clients programs. In addition, an experimental replicated object space is developed as an application of the JACE system.

A Chi-Square-Based Decision for Real-Time Malware Detection Using PE-File Features

  • The real-time detection of malware remains an open issue, since most of the existing approaches for malware categorization focus on improving the accuracy rather than the detection time. Therefore, finding a proper balance between these two characteristics is very important, especially for such sensitive systems. In this paper, we present a fast portable executable (PE) malware detection system, which is based on the analysis of the set of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) called by a program and some technical PE features (TPFs). We used an efficient feature selection method, which first selects the most relevant APIs and TPFs using the chi-square ($KHI^2$) measure, and then the Phi (${\varphi}$) coefficient was used to classify the features in different subsets, based on their relevance. We evaluated our method using different classifiers trained on different combinations of feature subsets. We obtained very satisfying results with more than 98% accuracy. Our system is adequate for real-time detection since it is able to categorize a file (Malware or Benign) in 0.09 seconds.

  • As make a simulator including user interface functions like start & stop, load parameters, record and save, view 3D display has a real-like length and numerical value of sizes, represent real-shape of inner and outer part of robot, make the possible fast and slow selective observation as a adjust a step, receiving the images through the image device which attached in robot, so make a motion tester simulator of humanoid robot which coded by windows based GUI(Graphic User Interface) program with a MMI(Man Machine Interface) function that user can watch the environment which included robot and use a images. For implement this, we use a design data that converted data which made by use a CAD for Laser RP(Rapid Prototyping) progress into C coding for simulator programming. Using OpenGL, an API of graphic, it has a efficiency and detail of graphic operation. To make and test animation data, it has the option of save and resume in animation.

  • 3D Modeling Solution can reduce projecting error and also make possible to design visually, so that it can minimize human resources. On the other hand, it has defects of operating difficulties caused by too much complex function, thus it consequently prevent user from prompt handling. According to this paper, the developed party S/W will help that user can construct the parts easily, can let everybody use 3D modeling solution readily, and make fast development of new product. This software will carry out prompt development of new product and derive satisfaction of customers from high quality. Also, saving time and expense naturally raise competitive power in consequence.

  • In this paper, we designed, implemented, and verified the SLAM system that can be used on mobile devices. Mobile SLAM is composed of a stand-alone type that directly performs SLAM operation on a mobile device, and a mapping server type that additionally configures a mapping server based on FastAPI to perform SLAM operation on the server and transmits data for map visualization to a mobile device. The mobile SLAM system proposed in this paper is to mix the two types in order to make SLAM operation and map generation more efficient. The stand-alone type SLAM system was configured as an Android app by porting the OpenVSLAM library to the Unity engine, and the map generation and performance were evaluated on desktop PCs and mobile devices. The mobile SLAM system in this paper is an open source project, so it is expected to help develop AR contents based on SLAM in a mobile environment.

  • 본 논문에서는 OpenCV를 통해 기존의 물리적 버튼 등을 이용한 접촉제어가 아닌 비접촉으로 제어할 수 있는 시스템을 설계하였다. 시스템은 디지털 입력이나 아날로그 입력 등 두 가지 형태로의 모든 입력이 가능하며, 현실 세계에서 사람들이 사용하는 입력 방식과 유사한 방식으로 제어를 하게 함으로써 사용에 대한 기술에 대한 거부감을 줄일 수 있었다. 시스템은 ESP32-CAM 보드와 영상 스트리밍 서버를 FastAPI로 구축해 원격으로 접속과 조작이 가능하도록 설계하였다.

  • To overcome the long design time/high computational effort/low computational performance of phylogenetic learning featuring selection and reproduction, this paper proposes a genetic representation based on XML. Since genetic programs (GP) and genetic operations of this representation are maintained by the invocation of the built-in off-the-shelf XML parser's API, the proposed approach features significant reduced time consumption of GP design process. Handling only semantically correct GPs with standard XML schema can reduce search space and computational effort. Furthermore, computational performance can be improved by the parallelism of GP caused by the utilization of XML, which is a feasible system and wire format for migration of genetic programs in heterogeneous distributed computer environments. To verify the proposed approach, it is applied to the evolution of social behaviors of multiple agents modeling the predator-prey pursuit problem. The results show that the approach can be applied for fast development and time efficiency of GPs.

  • Recently with advent of Web 2.0, RESTful Web Services are becoming increasing trend to emphasize Web as platform. There are already many services and the number of service increases in very fast pace. So it is difficult to find the service what we want by keyword based search. To solve this problem, we developed the search method using sem antic technologies about RESTful Web Services. For that, first we define the system structure and model the description format based on the integrated search system for OpenAPIs, and then we add Semantic Markup (tagging, semantic annotation) on the HTML description pages. Next we extract RDF document from them and store it in service repository. Based on the keywords that are extended by means of ontology, the developed system provides more purified and extended results than similarity-based keyword searching system.

  • With the rapid growth of the wireless Internet communication, a new generation of mobile devices have made possible the broad distribution of mobile digital contents, such as image, music, video, games and applications over the wireless Internet. Mobile devices are rapidly becoming the major means to extend communication channels without copy Protection, usage rule controlling and authentication. As a result, mobile digital contents may be illegally altered, copied and distributed among unauthorized mobile devices. In this paper, we take a look at Open Mobile Alliance (OMA) DRM v2.0 in general, its purpose and function. The OMA is uniquely the focal point for development of an open standard for mobile DRM. Next we introduces features for an active content and illustrates the difference between an active content and an inactive content. Enabling fast rendering of an active content, we propose an OMA-based DRM framework. This framework include the following: 1) Extending DCF Header for supporting an selective encryption, 2) Content encryption key management, 3) Rendering API for an active content. Experimental results show that the proposed framework is able to render an active content fast enough to satisfy Quality of Experience. %is framework has been proposed for a mobile device environment, but it is also applicable to other devices, such as portable media players, set-top boxes, or personal computer.
