Customers' needs change every moment. Profitability of stores can't be increased anymore with an existing standardized chain store management. Accordingly, a personalized store management tool needs through prediction of customers' preference. In this study, we propose a recommending procedure using dynamic customers' preference by analyzing the transaction database. We utilize self-organizing map algorithm and association rule mining which are applied to cluster the chain stores and explore purchase sequence of customers. We demonstrate that the proposed methodology makes an effect on recommendation of products in the market which is characterized by a fast fashion and a short product life cycle.

On this thesis, the focus is that studying costumes which have been affected by deconstructionism that is based on chaos and fractal the-ory. Chaos and fractal theory is accepted as a new paradigm for open world which is changing very vast and fast. And this theory is needed for artists and designers who should have spacetime conciousness and open mind and attitude towark open world. In the results, various costume typess of deconstructionism have been shown by fashion designers and artists' works. Thoes are as follows; 1. normal relationship of costume changes to abnormal relationship 2. three-dimentional structure of costume changes to two-dimentional structure. 3. open to materials and techniques. 4. separated costume parts reconstruct as ambiguous whole on function. 5. body absence and accessorizing.

This study aimed to review the influence of the World War I & II on the beauty culture which include toilette practices, cosmetic products and health habits. Literary materials were gathered and analyzed from books, journals and thesis concerning cosmetics, fashion and background history. Results are as follows: 1. Women's appearance gained social and official approval of its psychological and practical effect during the two wars and was regarded as an important strategy for the war. 2. The chemical industry helped to set forth an aggressive make up industry. 3. The orthopedic technique,1 of the war period resulted in the advancement of the plastic surgery business in the after war world. 4. After the First World War, the newly-risen American bourgeoisies' desire to show off their leisure activities provided from their wealth popularized suntan fast. 5. Strong, vital womanly beauty had been demanded in accordance with women's positive social Participation during the Second World War.

This study was undertaken to investigate the influence of kinetin and 2, 4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid on the rate of growth, the contents of RNA, DNA, and protein. And also the effect of plant growth regulator on isoperoxidases in callus derived from root (root-callus) and petiole (petiolecallus) was investigated. The rate of growth in petiole-callus was higher than the rootcallus at 0.1 mg/l kinetin and 1mgfl 2,4-D. At 1mgll kinetic, the rate of growth increased, but at high concentration the rate of growth decreased fast. The contents of RNA, DNA and protein also increased, but it did not coincide with the increase of the growth rate of callus. The isoperoxidases of callus grown at various amounts of 2,4-D and kinetic occurred in an almost fashion, but those of root-callus appeared different from those of petiole-callus.

A novel fiber-optic sensor system is suggested in which fiber Bragg grating sensors are demodulated by a wavelength-sweeping fiber laser source and a spectrometer. The spectrometer consists of a diffraction grating and a 512-pixel photo-diode array. The reflected Bragg wavelength information is transformed into spatial intensity distribution on the photo-diode array. The peak locations linearly correspond to the Bragg wavelengths, regardless of the nonlinearities in the wavelength tuning mechanism of the fiber laser. The high power density of the fiber laser enables obtaining high signal-to-noise ratio outputs. The improved demodulation characteristics were experimentally demonstrated with a fiber Bragg grating sensor array with 5 gratings. The sensor outputs were in much more linear fashion compared with the conventional tunable band-pass filter demodulation. Also it showed advantages in signal processing, due to the high level of photo-diode array signals, over the broadband light source system, especially in measurement of fast varying dynamic physical quantities.

This paper will explain the importance of using interactive prototyping tools in the HCI design process. The Future of HCI education project performed by ACM SIGCHI shows that students recognize that prototyping, especially paper prototyping and interactive prototyping, are both very important. Two widely-used prototyping tools in academy, Balsamiq and Oven, will be compared and rated by students according to their preferences. We choose the Balsamiq as our design tool because Oven can be designed on the web but applications cannot be designed directly on Mac or Windows. The Balsamiq tool will help you understand the task process of UI work and highlight the benefits of digital prototyping to test the execution of expected results in a fast fashion compared to high-level prototyping. We also present the outcome of this work through two case studies. In particular, the smart mirror project with voice recognition function shows the effectiveness of the proposed method as an example.

본 연구는 점포 내 배경음악과 광고사진이 소비자의 정서 및 행동에 미치는 영향에 관한 실험적 연구로서 비디오 시뮬레이션을 통한 실험적 방법을 이용하였다. 매장 내 배경음악의 템포 효과와 광고사진 분위기의 효과를 검증하기 위하여 국내 중 저가 영 캐주얼 의류 브랜드 매장 한 곳을 선택하여 비디오 촬영한 후, 2 (빠른 템포 vs. 느린 템포) ${\times}$2 (섹시한 사진 분위기 밝고 경쾌한 사진 분위기) 요인 설계를 이용하여 4개 의 자극물을 조작하였다. 또한 음악 및 사진 자극이 제공되지 않은 자극물을 포함, 통제 집단을 구성하였다. 총 289개의 설문의 수집되었으며, 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 통제집단과 각 4개의 실험 집단과의 비교 분석 결과, 점포 내 배경음악과 광고사진이 없는 통제집단은 정서적, 행동적 반응 모두에서 가장 낮은 점수를 보였다. 따라서 배경음악과 광고사진의 유무는 소비자의 정서적, 행동적 반응에 영향을 미친다고 하겠다. 둘째, 점포 내 배경음악의 템포 및 광고사진 분위기와 소비자의 점포 내 긍정적 정서상태와의 관계를 분석한 결과, 배경음악의 템포에 의한 차이는 유의하지 않았으나, 광고사진의 분위기 차이에 따른 점포 내 소비자의 긍정적인 정서상태의 차이는 유의하였다 셋째, 소비자의 점포내 긍정적인 정서상태는 소비자의 긍정적 접근행동에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 상품 자체의 품질이나 다양성, 상품의 가격과 같은 직접적인 상품 요인 외에 배경음악과 광고사진 같은 점포 내의 분위기 요소들이 소비자들에게 즉각적이고 감정적인 반응을 불러일으켜 상품 자체 요인으로는 설명되지 않는 소비자들의 점포 내 구매행동에 영향을 미치는 중요 변수임을 발견하였다.

This study investigates the sound properties of fabric frictional sound (SPL, ${\Delta}L$, ${\Delta}f$) according to the film type of PTFE laminated vapor-permeable water-repellent fabrics in order to understand the relationship between SPL and the basic properties of fabrics such as layer, yarn type, and thickness of fiber. This study accesses their mechanical properties and determines how to control them to minimize SPL. Eight PTFE laminated water-repellent fabrics, composed of four different film types (A, B, C, D) and with two different fabrics, were used as test specimens. Frictional sounds generated at 1.21m/s were recorded by using a fabric sound generator and SPLs were analyzed through Fast Fourier Transformation (FFT). The mechanical properties of fabrics were measured by KES-FB. The SPL value was lowest at 74.4dB in film type A and highest as 85.5dB in type D. Based on ANOVA and post-hoc test, specimens were classified into less Loud Group (A, B) and Loud Group (C, D). It was shown that SPL was lower when 2 layer (instead of 3 layer), filament yarn than staple, and thin fiber than thick were used. In Group I, shearing properties (G, 2HG5), geometrical roughness (SMD), compressional properties (LC, RC) and weight (W) showed high correlation with SPL however, elongation (EM) and shear stiffness (G) did with SPL in Group II.

Polypropylene fibers, while having many advantages such as light weight, sweat fast drying, water-repellent, drainage, thermal insulation, anti-static property has a drawback in dyeing. In recent years, the development of dyeable polypropylene fibers has expanded its value in the textile market. The purpose of this study is to fabricate composite spun yarns using polypropylene, acrylic, rayon and wool and to analyze tensile properties, uniformity characteristics, bending properties, hairiness, and surface shape according to the degree of fineness and blended ratio. The specimens consisted of 100% polypropylene spun yarn pp30, pp40 and ppa(pp/acrylic), ppr(pp/rayon), ppw(pp/wool), 5 altogether sed in this study. The results of the study are as follows. The breaking strength of polypropylene spun yarn blended with rayon and acrylic was higher than that of 100% polypropylene spun yarn. The polypropylene spun yarn is higher the fineness been shown to decrease the breaking strength and elongation. The bending properties of polypropylene spun yarns were in the order of ppa>ppr>pp40>pp30>ppw. The unevenness of ppw, ppr, and ppa was higher than pp40 and pp30. With the exception of ppw with crimp properties, pp30 and pp40 were found to have a hairiness index greater than ppr, ppa. In the microscopic photographs of polypropylene spun yarn, pp30, which had the highest hairiness index, was found to have a thick yarn and a large number of hairs, and ppw had hairs of 3 mm or more protruding elongated outwardly.

The purpose of this research is to study doll's symbolism representing our social culture and the characteristics of clothing design. The ball joint doll was selected, that are pretty much resembled to human body in terms of facial expression, body proportion, joint movement, etc. Results of research are summarized as follows: the ball joint doll is indicated a doll whose joints are free to move with a round shaped joint, which originated by Yochilya simon, who adopted German Hans Bellmer's method.'rho ball joint doll, first, there appeared state of human isolation due to the material civilization and industrial revolution, and trend of adhering to one's own world made human possess dolls. Second, according to the doll play became a representing play culture among Kidult culture, dolls, that are resembled with human being, were recognized as personalized objects. Third, along of expanding digital culture that makes easy to exchange information via Internet, so, ball joint doll market is growing fast, for which various levels of mania are being formed. Take a look at the doll fashion in modern society. In accordance to form of Look, it is largely categorized Young Casual look, Office look, Ethnic look and Military look. When take a look at design specialty, young casual look was presented as a comfortable silhouette and also made of elastic materials and expressed vivid bright tones. Office look image was expressed as a suit of jacket with skirt, and cotton wool polyester materials and acro-matic colors. Ethnic look was represented by Japanese traditional dress and Chinese traditional clothing. The Military look was generally emphasized army uniforms of straight silhouette and shoulder straps.
