To analyse the royal marriage of Yi-Dynasty, the authors studied 'Kuk Hon Geong Rea', which is a historical record, published in 1749(King Yong-Jo), on the usage of marriage articles in the royal family. The essential steps or articles described in the record were as follows, Royal marriage of King : Wedding presents, black and red silks from the bridegroom's to bride's, proclamation of Queen and wedding ceremony(納采) (納徵) (冊妃) (親迎 尊雁 同牢). Royal marriage of Crown Prince : Wedding presents, black and red silks from the bridegroom's to bride's. proclamation of Crown Princess, wedding ceremony, and bride's gifts to her parents-in-law(納采) (納徵) (冊嬪) (親迎 尊雁 同牢) (朝見體). Royal marriage of Crown Princess : Wedding presents, black and red silks from the bridegroom's to bride's, wedding ceremony, bride's gifts to her parents-in-law(納采) (納徵) (尊雁 同牢) (見舅姑禮). Necessary articles for weddings were different according to royal status of the member in the royal family.

A single specimen of the family Echeneidae was collected from the coast of the East Sea, Korea. It was identified as Phtheirichthys lineatus by having a sucker with 10 pairs of disc laminae, 1+13 gill rakers and 40 vertebrae. A key to the family Echeneidae from Korea is provided. We propose a new Korean name "Yeol-jul-bbal-pan-i" for the species.

Members of this family Sciomyzidae are known as marsh flies and snail-killing flies because most of the known larvae are obligate predators of Mollusca, especially freshwater and terrestrial Gastropoda. Most species are found in the shallow ephemeral aquatic habitats with rich organic substrates, such as the hard-water streams, small ponds and lakes in mountain valleys. To date, a total of 8 marsh fly species in 4 genera have been known in Korea. During a taxonomic survey of the family Sciomyzidae in Korea, the authors have found the genus Ditaeniella Sack, 1939; thus, it was discovered for the first time in Korea. This genus can be distinguished by the other related taxa with hairs over much of the mesopleuri, hairs on the prosternum and one orbital seta. In addition, the nominate species, Ditaeniella grisescens Meigen, 1830 was also firstly recoded in the Korean fauna.

Kushia zosteraphila Harris V.A. & Iwasaki, 1996 is newly collected and described from macroalgae in the intertidal region of Gijang-gun, along the southeastern coastal region of Korea. Kushia zosteraphila can be distinguished from congeners by following morphological characteristics: the length of the first dorsal seta similar with the second dorsal seta of female P5, the length to width ratio of the female caudal ramus, and the presence of a conspicuous comb on the accessory lobe of the male antennule. Although there are some minor discrepancies, the main diagnostic characteristics of the specimen from the study area are well-matched with the original description. We herein provide detailed morphological descriptions and illustrations of this species. According to a survey of the location of the reported porcellidiid species in Korea, this specimen is the second record in Korean waters of the genus Kushia. A key to species of the family Porcellidiidae in Korea is provided. A partial sequence of the mitochondrial COI gene was obtained and provided as a DNA barcode for this species.

The genus Teloganopsis Ulmer belonging to the family Ephemerellidae is only known from the species of T. punctisetae (Matsumura, 1931) in the Korean Peninsula. The members of the genus Teloganopsis are characterized by the following characteristics: head and abdominal tergites without any tubercles and complex setae; forefemur with a row of long and stout setae perpendicularly; maxilla covered with dense setae. A total of 17 species had been previously recorded in this family. Here, Teloganopsis chinoi (Gose, 1980), is newly recorded in Korea which was found under a large stone in Kyeongho river. Larval habitus, habitat, line-drawings of key characters of the species, a checklist with habitus photos of Korean Ephemerellidae, and a key to the larvae of Korean Teloganopsis are provided.

This thesis focus of the analysis of the family relationship in Yulgok's thoughts. He thought that to control the family well may have on influence upon the things done outside home and the put its ultimate purpose on the family concord. To keep the harmony family the record relation between the family which has to be based on respect and sincerity must be presumed, In terms that the marital relationship is the most important point of all human ethics he advised the mutual sincerity in choosing a spouse,. Parenthood must be established on the basis of filial duty and charity and brothers and sisters must respect each other with fraternity and politieness. These thoughts which must be inherited today can be the best ways to keep a desirable family relationship.

We report two new records Korean marine bivalves. The new record species are Siliqua albida (Adams & Reeve, 1850) and Macoma (Macoma) middendorffi Dall, 1884. As a result, the family Pharidae in Korea turned out to be 8 species of 4 genera and Tellinidae are 37 species of 15 genera.

This is the first report of Pterygotrigla multiocellata from the family Triglidae, collected in Korea. The specimen (314 mm in standard length) was caught in a gill net in the coastal waters of Jeju Island on 11 February 2010. This species is characterized by the following morphological traits: head large and triangular, bony plates absent along the base of the second dorsal fin, antrorse rostral spine long, and cleithral spine long. We suggest a new Korean name, "Gin-ppul-mit-seong-dae" for P. multiocellata.

Three species of Ellobiid molluscs collected from Korea were identified as Auriculastra duplicata (Pfeffer, 1854), Laemodonta siamensis (Morelete, 1875) and Melampus (Pira) flavus (Gmelin, 1791). This is the first record from the Korea, providing a description of the species with illustration for the shell morphology. Including the new recorded in this study, the family Ellobiidae contained six genera and 13 species in the Korea.

A taxonomic survey of the dinoflagellate family Prorocentraceae Stein was conducted on 17 locations off the coast of Korea. This monograph is the result of the microscopic analyses. A total of eight species have been identified and described, of which Prorocentrum concavum Fukuyo is new record for Korea.
