일-가정 촉진과 조직몰입 간의 관계: 조직지원인식의 조절효과 (The Relationship between Work-Family Facilitation and Organizational Commitment: Moderating Effect of Perceived Organizational Support)

  • 본 연구에서는 일(work)-가정(family)은 대립적 관계가 아닌 서로 보완적 관계이며, 이들 간의 긍정적 상호작용이 조직 및 개인 성과에 긍정적 영향을 주는 일-가정 촉진(work-family facilitation)이 조직몰입에 긍정적 영향이 있음을 실증적으로 파악함으로써 스마트워킹시대 인사 관리자들에게 조직관리의 새로운 시사점을 제공하고자 진행되었다. 이를 위해 부산 경남지역의 일반 기업체 근무자를 대상으로 설문 조사 후 위계적회귀분석을 실시 하였다. 연구결과 일-가정 촉진은 조직몰입에 정(+)의 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그러나 일-가정 촉진과 조직몰입 간의 조직지원인식의 조절효과는 지속적 몰입을 제외한 정서적 및 규범적 몰입에는 통계적으로 유의한 정(+)의 효과는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 학술적으로는 조직지원인식이 구성원들의 지속적 몰입에 긍정적 관계가 있음을 확인 하였을 뿐만 아니라 더 나아가 일-가정 촉진과 정서적 및 규범적 몰입 간의 긍정적 관계를 설명할 수 있는 추가 메커니즘 연구의 필요성을 제시하였고, 실무적으로는 일-가정 균형 뿐만 아니라 일-가정 촉진, 즉 일과 가정 간의 긍정적 상호작용이 조직 및 개인의 성과에 긍정적 영향을 미친다는 것을 확인함으로써 직무설계시 직무 뿐만 아니라 개인의 가족 상황을 고려한 설계 필요성을 제시하였다.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the influence of a cook's understanding about organizational fairness on job satisfaction and business performance at family restaurants in Seoul. Frequency analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, and SEM were applied to analyze the data. First, a confirmatory reliability analysis indicated that organizational fairness, job satisfaction, and business performance were sufficient to be used in this investigation. Organizational fairness, job satisfaction and business performance had generally significant relationships by implementing SEM. According to the results, distributive fairness (p< 0.001), procedural fairness (p< 0.05) and interactive fairness (p< 0.05) had positive influence on cook's job satisfaction. Job satisfaction had a positive influence on financial (p< 0.05) and non-financial performance (p< 0.001). Therefore, for the purposes of food-service companies' continuous increases in business performance and competition are generally necessary to suitably manage the fairness of various policies such as job stability, promotions, impartial distribution of salary, bonus and welfare work, and internal marketing.

  • This study aims to empirically investigate the influence of organizational capability and organizational learning on the financial performance of family-business type small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). In addition, this study examines the moderating role of SMEs' ages and the managers' experiences in the relationship between organizational capability and organizational learning on the SMEs financial performance. This study is a basic exploratory research conducted by using an empirical survey, i.e., sampling of the businessman (the owner) of family-business type SMEs cross-functional in the area of DIY. The study uses purposive sampling. The respondents are the SME businessmen from the various business sectors in Yogyakarta, Indonesia. The number of respondents is 150. Hypothesis testing used SPSS program's moderation regression approach; validity and reliability testing used confirmatory factor analysis and Cronbach's alpha. The result of this study shows that organizational capability positively and significantly affects the financial performance. Also, organizational learning significantly affects the financial performance. The organization's age factor does not moderate the relationship between organizational capability and the financial performance, but it is significant on the organizational learning. The factor of manager's experience moderates insignificantly on the relationship between organizational capability and financial performance. However, it is significant to the organizational learning.

패밀리레스토랑 종사원의 인센티브 만족도에 관한 연구 (A study on the incent ive satisfaction in family restaurant employer)

  • The food service industry has grown up without an affection of economic collapse, and its kinds are being diversified and focused on many different aspects from physical taste to many other elements such as atmosphere, service quality, sanitation and etc.. Now it appeals to even familiarity. These Facts are well ref looted to Family Restaurant which has not been very popular so far, but now it takes its space in the market, and its management system is being introduced to other countries. The purpose of this study is to see how to satisfy them to make maximum business profit, and one possibility is "incentive". To accomplish research, theoretical and practical studies have been done and surveys have taken placed for substantial studies. The subjects were limited to employees in Family Restaurant in Seoul from February 20th to March 20th, 2001. Data, reliableness, and propriety were analyzed by SAS(Statistical Analyzed System). Sampling mode was randomness, and validation mode was limited to 223 papers. The followings are the results of this analysis First, Satisfaction of incentive were made by stability, impartiality and suitability regardless difference on companies, ages, departments, and authority of an employees. Second, Satisfaction on incentive for employees in Family Restaurants were not well received. Although these necessary demand, there is not yet incentive system operation to most of business. Especially, it is not even studied on Family Restaurants. This study should have been studied on more customers and spotted employees to be objective. It is strongly recommended to do this study without limitation and further studies is considered on this subjects.

패밀리 레스토랑의 서비스 스케이프 및 이미지 포지셔닝 맵에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Servicescape and Image Positioning Map in the Family Restaurant Industry)

  • The growth of foodservice industry has caused keen competition in the family restaurant industry. For a differentiation strategy to be competitive, on the preferential basis, it is necessary for each family restaurant business to analyze its position in the market. Therefore, this study is to certify customers' perceived servicescape and image similarity and analyzes positioning of seven family restaurants. For this research, multidimensional scaling(MDS) is performed to determine how they are positioned relative to competitors. According to the result of the positioning map(ALSCAL and PROFIT map), it is found that Outback steakhouse, T.G.I. Friday's, Bennigans' have more strong competitiveness than VIPS, Marche and Sizzler in servicescape factors and restaurant selection attribute except menu diversity. But the preference order does not follow the order of competitiveness. This result from the positioning map means that each business needs various marketing strategies that cannot be copied easily.

인구통계적 특징에 따른 수산물 소비패턴 변화 분석 (An Analysis on the Changes of Seafood Consumption Patterns by Demographic Characteristics)

  • The objective of this study is to investigate consumer preferences, perception and consumption patterns for fish products. To investigate the difference in consumer responses according to the characteristics of the population parameters, data were collected from the survey of 404 Koreans and analyzed. The results are as follows: First, the differences of age; for the question of the reason why do you eat fish products, the younger generation (20~30s)'s most answer was 'The Taste' while the older age groups(40~50s and over 60s)' most respond was 'For Health'. Second, the differences of sex; women relatively considered 'The Quality' of fish products more important than men when selecting the products. Whereas, men thought 'The Taste' of fish products more important than women when they choose fish products. In addition, when the bad news or hygiene accidents about fish products are reported on media, women reacted more negatively for fish products purchase than men. Third, the differences of family members; the respondents who lived with 3 or more family members showed higher preference rates about purchasing trimmed fresh fish at the store than respondents who lived with 2 or less family members. On the other hand, single households relatively bought processed fish products and RTE(Ready To Eat) fish products more than other family member groups. In addition, single households preference rates about eating fish products as a main dish were very high compared to other groups.

  • 관광의 영향력을 파급시키는 주체인 관광객이 어떤 요인들로부터 영향을 받아 어떻게 관광 목적지를 선택하게 되는지의 문제는 가장 기본적이면서도 중요한 것이라 하겠다. 이들 관광객의 행동에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 개인적, 사회 환경적, 판매 촉진적 영향 요인이 있으며, 이 가운데 개인적 영향요인(지자, 학습, 성격, 동기, 태도)에 대하여는 최근 들어 국내에서도 활발히 연구가 이루어지고 있는바, 사회환경적 요인(가족, 사회계층, 준거집단) 가운데 가장 기본적이고 중요한 요인인 "가족"을 중심으로 가족의 동적인 영향력이 가장 잘 설명해 줄 수 있는 하나의 강력한 인구 통계적 집단 변수로서 가족생활주기(Family Life Cycle)에 따른 관광객의 관광지 선택행동을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 목적은 가족생활주기와 국민 국내관광자의 목적지 선택 특성과의 관계를 파악하여 마케팅측면에서 관광시장 세분화 기준으로서의 가족생활주기의 타당성을 검증하고 각 단계별로 유의한 영향변수를 파악하여 최근 관광시장의 양적 대량화 및 질적 다양화라는 이중 구조적 환경에 효과적으로 대응하기 위한 전략 수립에 일조하는데 있다.

중소규모 기업의 가족친화경영 및 가족친화인증 인식에 대한 탐색적 연구 (Perceptions of Family-friendly Management and Family-friendly Company Certification in Small and Medium Size Business)

  • 본 연구는 중소규모 기업이 밀집해 있는 지역에 소재한 중소규모 기업 대표 및 인사담당자를 대상으로 가족친화경영 및 가족친화인증에 대한 인식을 탐색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 2017년 10월부터 11월까지 기업 대표 및 인사담당자 6인을 대상으로 초점집단면접을 실시하였다. 본 연구결과 연구참여자들이 속한 기업 중 가족친화인증을 받은 기업은 없었으나, 모든 기업에서 출산전후휴가, 육아휴직, 근로시간 단축 등 다양한 가족친화제도를 운영하고 있었다. 또한 중소규모 기업에서도 가족친화경영의 필요성을 인식하고 있었으나 소규모 기업의 특수성, 제도 확대에 따른 부담, 제도 도입의 복잡성 등과 같은 가족친화경영 및 가족친화제도 도입에 따른 어려움을 경험하고 있었다. 각 기업의 상황에 따라 가족친화 인증 참여 의지는 다르게 나타났으나, 연구참여자들은 가족친화경영의 필요성을 인지함에 따라 CEO 교육 확대, 가족친화제도 도입에 대한 사회적 분위기 조성, 홍보 확대 및 제도의 간소화 등을 중소규모 기업의 가족친화경영 및 가족친화인증 참여 확대 방안으로 이야기하였다. 본 연구 결과는 향후 중소규모 기업의 가족친화경영 및 가족친화인증 참여를 확산하기 위한 정책 마련에 기초자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

가족응집성 및 의복가치에 따른 '패밀리룩' 의류제품 구매의도 (Purchase Intention Toward Family-Look Clothing Related to Family Cohesion and Consumer Clothing Value)

  • The growth in the amount of selling of family-look clothing was recently observed in an domestic apparel industry. The issue related to the consumers' purchase behavior toward family-look clothing would closely connected with their relationship among family members, especially, the family cohesion. To understand the consumers' purchase behavior toward family-look clothing, the study investigated the relationship with the purchase behavior toward family-look apparel and family cohesion as well as other clothing behavior. Most of the respondents$(76.7\%)$ had never purchased family-look clothing and most of the consumers$(75.7\%)$ who had purchased family-look clothing expressed their satisfaction with the purchase. The results revealed that the family cohesion had statistically significant influence on purchase intention toward family-look clothing, that is, consumers who were closely linked together with their family tended to have an intention to purchase family-look clothing.

Business Orientation, Goals and Satisfaction of Korean-American Business Owners

  • Purpose - This research examined the relationship between business orientation and business goals and satisfaction of Korean-American business owners. Research design/data/methodology - Entrepreneurial Orientation (EO) and Small Business Orientation (SBO) were the theoretical constructs underlying this research. The responses from 200 Korean-American business owners who participated in the 2005 National Minority Business Owner Surveys were used for data analysis. Results - Noneconomic business goal was positively related to business owners' SBO tendency, and those with a SBO tendency had the higher business satisfaction than those with EO. Conclusions - The findings suggest that policy makers should develop business assistance programs that correspond with owners' business orientation.
