The purpose of this study is to analyze the vocabulary related to safety accidents based on the reports recorded on the violation of safety rules at the construction sites. We used Word2Vec and Topic Model as natural language processing techniques to analyze the safety accidents presented in the reports of the large enterprise. The words that appeared based on the occupational accident types such as the fall, falling objects, and others were derived and visualized. We derive the frequency and similarity of the words and topics of the accident that occur at the construction site. In future studies, we will be able to proceed with the generation of texts from pictures based on images and this reports.

The study has suggested a way to minimize safety accidents found in on-site firefighting activity by analyzing firefighters' [investigation report on accidents to on-sie workers]. The study result is described as follows. First, the result of [investigation report on on-site workers] shows that while accidents are found to most frequently have occurred to low-ranking firefighting officers such as Sobangsa and Sobanggyo and firefighting officers with career of less than 5 years, fire-extinguishing activity proved to be the most prone to accidents in the category of activity. Second, analysis performed to identify variance between injury extent and area based on cause of accident shows statistically significant variance. In addition, the result of verifying difference in cause of accident based on category of activity shows significant difference with 'falling over and sliding' being the highly likely cause of accident in fire containment and rescue activities and 'reckless move' being highly likely case of accident in emergency activities. Third, the result of verifying factors behind the extent of injury done to on-site workers shows that when accident is caused by 'incomplete behavior', it was found that the extent of injury is substantial. It was also found that rescue activity is accompanied by substantial extent of injury. As a solution to this, the study suggested ways to establish, extend and operate safety-specific curriculum for entrants, develop materials regarding risk prognosis training and explicate training-related regulations, set up safety management measure for a single squad team, upgrade performance of private protection equipment, institutionalize SOP by on-site activity stage, materialize and activate swift rescue team and increase objectivity and proficiency of safety accident investigation.
Objectives : The purpose of this study is to investigate the clinical effects of cupping therapy on sleep disorders induced by traffic accidents. Methods : The 46 patients were divided into 2 groups : Exp.group was treated with cupping therapy at bedtime and Con.group was treated except cupping therapy at bedtime. To evaluate the efficiency of cupping therapy, the SMH sleep questionnaire and Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) were applied before treatment and after 7 days treatment. Results : 1. The Exp.group has improved statistical significantly in delaying bedtime and bedtime arousal as compared to the Con.group. 2. The Exp.group was increased in total sleep time but had no statistical significance as compared to the Con.group. 3. The Exp.group was improved in subjective evaluation of satisfaction with sleep, depth of sleep, the overall sleep and difficulty in falling asleep. Conclusions : Cupping therapy at bedtime has clinical effects of improvement of sleep disorder induced by traffic accidents.

The shipbuilding and offshore industry is a large and complex assembly industry, which causes many safety accidents. The major accidents in the shipbuilding and offshore industry workplaces are stenosis, falling objects, dust, fire, explosions, and gas poisoning. The accident by worker in this industry mainly has three factors: frequent movement, narrow work space, and increased use of subcontractors. To control these factors, it is necessary to monitor the worker's location and work status. In this paper, a worker location monitoring system using inaudible sound wave was designd that can be used in environments with many metal barriers. The process included deriving stakeholder requirements, transforming to system requirements, designing system architecture, and developing prototype. The prototype was validated by third-party testing agency. As a result, it satisfied the designed performance and verified its feasibility.

As the population is aging, accidents involving elderly people are also increasing (2014:11,667 persons; 2018: 11,797 persons). In the case of the elderly population, falling accidents are the primary direct or indirect causes of death; in particular, they face an elevated risk of staircase falls. This study proposes a method of evaluating the safety of staircases using Building Information Modeling (BIM)-based virtual simulation. By making a virtual user with the behavioral characteristics of the elderly respond to a staircase in a BIM model, its safety performance can be evaluated. The evaluation criteria were derived from regulations, elements, and characteristics relevant to the safety of staircases. To validate the proposed method, safety evaluation tests were simulated on actual staircases. The evaluation result of the test simulation shows the safety scores of 1.97 points for the elderly user and 2.95 points for the average male adult user against a required safety score of a minimum of 2 points. That is, safety is relative to users as the safety of the same staircase can be different depending upon the different behavioral characteristics of users. The study suggests that the risk of staircase-related fall accidents to the elderly can be reduced by improving staircase designs through the proposed method.

In this study, PM accidents (1,603case) and bicycle accidents (14,672case) that occurred in the last three years were analyzed to determine the characteristics of PM traffic accidents. In particular, PM traffic accidents were divided into perpetrators and victims to determine the characteristics in detail. For PM accidents, the analysis was conducted on the status of each road grade, road type, weather condition, accident type, day and night occurrence, and vehicle type. The number of PM accidents that occurred in 2019 increased by 129%, and deaths increased by more than 200% compared to the previous year. The proportion of pedestrian accidents among PM traffic accidents was higher than that of bicycle accidents. Therefore, regulations on PM traffic are necessary. For the 20 deaths of PM, a detailed analysis was conducted to analyze the factors of traffic accidents. PM fatalities occurred in 50% of vehicle accidents, and 7 out of 10 vehicle accidents occurred at night. This is believed to have been caused by falling or overturning due to an obstacle, such as a depression in the road pavement or a speed bump.

In this paper, we dealt with a safety helmet for detecting dangerous situations that focuses on falling accidents and gas leaks, which are the main causes of industrial accidents. the fall situation range was set through gravity acceleration measurement using an acceleration sensor, and as a result, a fall detection rate of 80% could be confirmed. .In addition, the dangerous gas concentration was measured through a gas sensor, and when a digital value of 188 or more was output through a serial monitor, it was determined as a gas dangerous situation, and a fall warning message and a gas warning message could be checked through a smart-phone application produced based on the app inventor program.
According to a recent report, Korea first reached aging society in 2000 and it is forecasted that the number of aged people over 65 years old will increase form 7.13%(2000) to 14% or more of total population in Korea in 2022. As many aged peoples are employed as day labor under the financial circumstances after Korean Financial Crisis, it is critical that we should take safety control measures for them. Thus, this study focused on analyzing aged accidents in terms of their characteristics, based on the actual trend of industrial accidents from 1996 to 2001 and the applications of medical treatment for the affected or wounded in Busan metropolitan area for recent 3 years (1999 to 2001) in order to analyze accident characteristics to cope with emergent aging period. As a result of analyzing the above data by job type, it was found that the construction work amounted to 38% of total job type. This result implies that accidents of the aged often occurs in 3D jobs including construction works without reasonable automation, which requires us to establish some preventive policies against those accidents. Moreover, it is found that rapid increasing accidents such as upset or occupational diseases or damages are typically attributed to those in the aged, mainly because the aged employees over 55 years old often have disadvantageous physical conditions such as relatively degraded balance and muscular control ability comparing to the younger. Therefore, it recommended that we should make effective safety policies for the aged and actively apply those policies to them. Moreover, it is required that we should encourage them to actively participate in safety compliance through corresponding trainings.

According to the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency's (KOSHA) report on industrial accident statistics over the past four years, the number of casualties at construction sites from 2017 to June 2020 was about 93,158 and the number of deaths was about 1,977, showing a high trend of safety accidents among the eight major occupational groups, with the construction industry ranking third in total and the death rate being the highest in total. Among them, the number of deaths caused by falls in the entire occupational category is about 1,267, the highest rate of deaths due to contact is about 522, which is a frequent safety accident among the top three accident types. This paper aims to help reduce the overall proportion of construction safety accidents by developing smart safety sensing devices using ultrasonic sensors to prevent two types of safety accidents, which have the highest rate of occurrence among various types of safety accidents occurring at construction sites.
Of 2,740 industries in Jeonbug area which are covered by industrial insurance policy, 462 facilities which the accidents related to industry occured during the year of 1979 were studied. and the results are summarized as follows: 1.
