예비창업자의 실패에 대한 두려움이 창업의도에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Fear of Failure Factors Affecting Entrepreneurial Intentions of Startup Business Candidate)

  • 본 연구에서는 예비창업자의 심리적 특성 중 실패에 대한 두려움이 계획된 행동모델의 변수들을 매개로 하여 미래의 창업의도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 창업의도와 관련된 기존의 선행연구들은 많이 있었으나 주로 창업성공에 영향을 미치는 요인, 창업의도를 높이는 요인을 중심으로 연구가 진행되고 있음을 발견하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 실패에 대한 두려움이 기업가적 활동을 수행함에 있어 본질적으로 내재되어 있는 요인임에도 불구하고 상대적으로 연구에서는 소홀하게 다루어왔던 것에 주목하여 실패에 대한 두려움을 측정하는 PFAI(Performances Failure Appraisal Inventory) 척도를 사용, 예비창업자의 실패에 대한 두려움이 창업의도에 미치는 관계를 창업에 대한 태도, 주관적 규범, 행동통제 등을 매개로 한 실증적 관계를 규명하였다. 또한 실패에 대한 두려움을 상쇄시키는 역할로써 창업교육의 효과성을 살펴보았다. 이를 위해 서울 시내 대학생들을 중심으로 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 자료를 수집하였고, 수집된 자료는 AMOS 18.0 프로그램을 사용하여 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 실패에 대한 두려움은 창업에 대한 태도와 주관적 규범에 각각 부정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 창업에 대한 태도와 주관적 규범은 창업의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 선행연구와 일치하는 결과를 보였다. 셋째, 실패에 대한 두려움은 창업의도에 직접적인 영향을 미치기보다는 계획된 행동모델의 구성요소인 창업에 대한 태도와 주관적 규범을 매개로 하여 각각 영향을 미침으로써 완전매개 효과를 나타내었다. 넷째, 창업교육이 실패에 대한 두려움과 창업의도와의 관계를 조절하는지 분석한 결과 창업교육을 수강한 집단에게서 실패에 대한 두려움이 창업에 대한 태도와 주관적 규범에 미치는 부정적인 영향이 미약하게 강화되는 것으로 나타났다.

  • In this paper the failure possibility and the error possibility are used to represent reliability of a technical component and that of a human operator, respectively. The failure possibility and the error possibility are fuzzy sets on the interval [0,1]. In a man-machine system, reliability of the technical component and that of the human operator are usually affected by many factors, e.g., the environment in which a machine is operated, psychological stress of the human operator, etc. The possibility is derived from not only the failure or the error rate but also estimates of these factors. The fuzzy reasoning plays an important role in the derivation. The reliability analysis is performed by the use of the possibility obtained by the present method. Moreover this paper discusses the sensitivity analysis which evaluates what extent the change of the estimation of each factor has an influence on reliability of a man-machine system. The important factors to be ameliorated are shown through the sensitivity analysis.

  • The aim of this work is to generalize reliability equivalence technique to apply it to a system consists of n independent and non-identical components connected in series system, that have mixing constant failure rates. We shall improve the system by using some reliability techniques: (i) reducing some failure rates; (ii) add hot reduncy components; (iii) add cold reduncy components; (iv) add cold reduncy components with imperfect switches. We start by establishing two different types of reliability equivalence factors, the survival equivalence (SRE), and mean reliability equivalence (MRE) factors. Also, we introduced some numerical results.

전문가시스템 개발에 있어서의 인간공학의 역할 (The Role of Human Factors in Expert System)

  • A number of success story about various application areas including manufacturing, accounting, finance, education, and engineering are reported. MIS professionals predicted that expert systems would improve the productivity enormously. However, the expert system revolution has not happened yet. Although not reported in the open society widely, there are failure stories of expert systems. Most of problems concerning expert system failure stem from the non-technical issues such as cognitive and psychological problems rather than the technical issues. We hypothesize that human factor principle enables designers to handle most of these non-technical problems elegantly and to improve the performance and acceptance of the expert systems. Major reasons for expert system failure and needs of human factors are discussed. Human factor guidelines to expert system make the prospects of the expert systems with human factors clear and understandable.

Development of Measurement Tools for Success and Failure Factors of Education and Training of Korean Bodyguard

  • 이 연구는 한국 경호원의 교육훈련 성패요인에 대한 측정도구를 개발하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 1차 조사에서는 완전 개방형 질문지를 통하여 면담을 실시하였으며, 2차 조사에서는 반구조화 질문지를 구성하여 면담을 실시하였다. 3차 조사에서는 폐쇄형 설문지를 제작한 후 설문조사를 실시하였다. 데이터는 SPSS 21.0, AMOS 21.O 통계패키지를 통하여 데이터를 처리하는 과정을 거쳤다. 조사기간은 최초 질문지를 배포한 2019년 5월부터 동년 12월까지 약 7개월간에 걸쳐 실시하였으며, 예비조사를 통하여 문항의 구성타당도를 검증한 후 3년 이상 경력이 있는 150명의 경호원을 대상으로 본 조사를 실시하였다. 조사 결과, 한국 경호원의 교육훈련에 대한 성공요인은 우발상황대처교육(5문항), 직업정신교육(2문항), 직업정신교육(2문항), 업무능력강화교육(2문항), 현실적인실무교육(2문항) 등 4개요인 11개 문항으로 구성되었다. 실패요인은 형식적인교육훈련(5문항), 지도자자질부족(4문항), 교육 부족(3문항) 등 3개요인 12문항으로 구성되었다.

특수교사들의 임용시험 실패 요인과 성공 요인에 관한 질적 연구 (A Qualitative Study into Special Education Teachers' Failure and Success Factors in Teacher Recruitment Examinations)

  • 이 연구에서는 임용시험에서의 실패와 성공을 경험한 특수교사들의 임용시험 실패 요인과 성공 요인이 무엇인지를 탐구하였다. 24명의 특수교사들과 반구조화된 면담을 실시하였으며, 면담 자료의 연속적 비교 분석을 통해 12개의 의미 있는 주제를 추출하였다. 연구 결과를 종합하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 특수교사들은 임용시험 실패 요인을 남 따라 하기식의 공부, 실패를 부르는 공부전략, 무조건 달달 외우기, 비효율적인 스터디, 불안함과 자신감 부족, 내가 나를 관리하지 못함에 두었다. 둘째, 특수교사들은 임용시험 성공 요인을 자신만의 공부 스타일, 올바른 공부전략, 이해와 암기의 조화, 모두가 득이 되는 스터디, 긍정적인 마음가짐, 무너지지 않는 자신만의 루틴에서 찾았다. 이러한 연구 결과를 임용시험 준비과정에서 실제적으로 활용하는 방안을 제언하였다.

THE CAUSES OF BAD PROFIT IN OVERSEAS CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS

  • International construction projects are exposed to various and complicated risk factors stemming from different political, economical, social, and cultural backgrounds, which make contractors entering into international construction to experience severe losses. It implies that overseas markets do not necessarily secure the high return, which is typically expected to in the high risky attempts. Accordingly, contractors need to evaluate various risk factors faced with overseas construction projects that can possibly aggravate the profitability. This paper aims at establishing a valid groundwork for further research on developing the integrated risk management model. For this end, it analyzes the long-term trend of profitability on total of 3,487 projects performed by Korean global contractors in world-wide construction markets during the last four decades. Then, it investigates the possible factors/causes of bad profit that have affected the profitability significantly through the structured surveys of 90 real overseas projects based on the project-specific information and experiences of Korean contractors in overseas markets. Furthermore, it analyzes relative importance of these factors/causes and identifies the important features expected for the risk management of international construction projects. Finally, vital distinctions between success and failure projects and lessons learned to improve profitability are then distilled.

Factors Related to N-Terminal Pro-B-Type Natriuretic Peptide as a Biomarker for Heart Failure

  • Purpose: This study aimed to examine the relationships between the N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) levels with the sociodemographic and clinical factors, self-care behaviors, and the physical symptom experiences in patients with heart failure. Methods: This cross-sectional study utilized a convenience sample of adult outpatients and inpatients who attended a cardiology department in a tertiary hospital in Seoul, Korea. The data from 154 patients with heart failure were collected using a questionnaire, and their clinical data were extracted from their electronic medical records. Results: Compared with the patients with high NT-proBNP levels, those with low NT-proBNP levels had significantly lower physical symptom experiences scores. Patients with low- and mid-NT-proBNP levels were more likely to be employed compared with those with high NT-proBNP levels. Patients with low NT-proBNP levels had higher left ventricular ejection fractions, and were less likely to have arrhythmias and comorbidities. Conclusion: The results from this study showed that patients with more severe heart failure had higher physical symptom experiences scores; hence, individualizing treatment approaches based on heart failure severity is necessary.

글로벌 대형유통기업의 서비스 실패에 관한 사례 연구: 서비스 마케팅믹스별 실패요인을 중심으로 (The Service Failure of Global Large Distribution Companies: the Failure Factors by Service Marketing Mix)

  • Purpose: Recently, the managing customer complaints properly has emerged as key source of competitive advantage in the large distribution industry. Effective customer complaint management helps firms minimize service failures and incense the capability to respond to customer's needs. Despite this importance, the in-depth prior study of a firm's service failures is very limited. Therefore, the actual service failure cases of large discount stores in Korea were analyzed in this study, and the types of service failures that occur at the service interface were identified. Method: Specifically, a total of 48,307 cases of customer complaints that have occurred in the past three years were collected from 1 January 2016 to 31 December 2018. Using 7 dimensions of service marketing mix. we have classified and analyzed systematically the service failure cases collected. Results: Among the cases of service failures, 34,921 (72.3%) cases were involved with the product factor, followed by 6,152 (12.7%) cases with person factor and 5,392 (11.2%) cases with process factor. Conclusion: By linking the main causes of service failure with the service marketing mix variables, this research presented a more systematic analytic model and verified by applying it to large domestic distribution company. Understanding the main factors affecting customer complaints n the large distribution industry can provide managers useful information and insight who want to achieve an effective customer complaint management.

배달앱 서비스 실패요인이 소비자 갈등과 소비자의 불평행동에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Influence of Delivery App Service Failure Factors on Consumer Conflict and Consumer Complaint Behavior)

  • This study was conducted to investigate the effect of the factors of delivery app service failure on consumption well conflict emotion and complaining behavior targeting consumers with experience using delivery apps, and the results of the study are summarized as follows. First, when looking at the demographic analysis, the proportion of men was 58.1% and women were 41.9%, and the age group was the highest with 91.9% in their 20s. Second, as a result of testing hypothesis 1 that the factor of delivery app service failure will have a significant influence on consumer conflict emotions, failure to provide app information and failure to deliver/food service showed a significant positive (+) relationship. Third, as a result of the verification of Hypothesis 2, that consumer conflict emotions will have a significant effect on the consumer's continued use intention, it was found to be insignificant and rejected. Lastly, hypothesis 3 that consumer conflict emotions will have a significant effect on consumer complaints behavior is that negative word of mouth behavior, complaint behavior from service providers, and complaint behavior from service managers were adopted, but the complaint behavior was rejected by third parties.
