  • This study developed and tested the impact of hallyu 4.0, social media, and consumer ethnocentrism on the decision to purchase Korean products of Generation C in Vietnam. Both qualitative and quantitative methodologies were utilized in this study. Qualitative research was first carried out with in-depth interview, conducted to derive measurement items for the interested constructs. Quantitative research used cross-sectional field design by pilot study and official study. The model was tested and developed using data collected by questionnaires, from a sample of 575 respondents, by both electronic and paper surveys with non-probability and convenience sampling techniques. SPSS 20 and AMOS 20 software were employed to analyze the data. The results of structural equation modeling showed that hallyu 4.0, social media, and consumer ethnocentrism influenced the intermediates variables: subject norms, trust, attitude and behavioral intention and influenced purchase decision. The hallyu 4.0, social media, and consumer ethnocentrism are independent variables. They impact purchase decision through mediating variables such as trust, subjective norms, attitude and behavioral intention. Social media influences not only to trust but also to subjective norms. Subjective norms influence on purchase decision. This study also discovers an interesting fact that trust and attitude variables have an impact on behavioral intention and purchase decision.

  • The environment friendly lifestyle and the green product trend have motivated corporates to develop and adopt sustainable business practices. However, an increasing number of corporations have engaged in greenwashing practices to create the appearance of environmental responsibility. By employing the theory of reasoned action, the paper investigated a model linking corporate greenwashing and consumers' green purchase intentions with the mediating role of green trust and green word-of-mouth about green electronic devices in Vietnam. Using an online survey via Email, Zalo, and Wechat, data was obtained from 308 Vietnamese consumers who have been purchasing green electronic devices. Based on the responses of the participants from the questionnaires conducted, data analysis was conducted by using SEM in AMOS version 23. This investigation shows that corporate greenwashing negatively affects consumers' green trust, green word-of-mouth, and their green buying intentions. Additionally, the paper verifies that green trust and green word-of-mouth mediate the relationships between greenwashing and consumers' green purchase intentions. These results reinforce the extant understanding of greenwashing and its consequences. Finally, the study not only stimulates future research but serves as a reference for business managers, scholars, and students who are interested on the topic of environmental sustainability, new product development, and green brands.

  • The purpose of this paper is to (1) evaluate a proposed conceptual model based on integrated Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR); (2) compare the differences between Vietnam and South Korea regarding the effects of consumer perception of CSR activities and technology acceptance on intention to adopt mobile banking. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was conducted to analyze the data collected from the field survey questionnaires administered to a convenience sample of Vietnamese and Korean banking customers. The results showed that there is a difference between South Korea and Vietnam with regard to intention to use mobile banking services. While the effects of social responsibility and environmental responsibility on trust, trust on perceived usefulness, perceived risk on intention to use, perceived usefulness on intention to use were significant in the context of Vietnam but those effects were not significant in South Korea. Therefore, this study has attempted to fill this gap by empirically examining some of the important factors influencing the adoption of m-banking from the Vietnamese and Korean customers' perspectives. Finally, practical and theoretical implications for both banks and researchers in the m- banking context are also discussed in the concluding section.

  • This study aims to examine the factors that affect customer satisfaction and repurchase intention of online shoppers in Vietnam. We used the anklet method to collect information by sending the online questionnaire to Vietnamese people via social media like Facebook, Zalo, and instructed participants to fill out the survey. This study collected data randomly from 597 Vietnamese individuals who have experienced online shopping. Applying both qualitative and quantitative methods, we investigated the impacts of factors (responsiveness, trust, convenience, delivery, information quality and perceived website usability) on customer satisfaction and repurchase intention. The results revealed that: (1) Information quality, delivery, convenience, and perceived website usability have the most significant impacts on customer satisfaction and intention, (2) Trust moderately affects satisfaction and repurchase intention, (3) Responsiveness has no significant influence on repurchase intention and (4) Control variables, included gender and marital status also impacted satisfaction and repurchase intention because the study found that male customers are more satisfied than female customers and single people tend to repurchase at familiar websites more than the other people. The findings suggested that six mentioned factors have different levels of impacts on customer satisfaction and repurchase intention; moreover, the demographic factors also affect satisfaction and intention to repurchase.

  • The contribution made by the tourism sector is strategic enough to provide job opportunities and increase the state's foreign exchange which will be followed by development in the information and technology sectors. The population of this study includes all domestic tourists who visit the Batu City Angkut Museum over 17 years of age and who have obtained information via eWOM from other tourists. Based on the measurement, a minimum of 160 respondents must be selected as the research sample. Non-probability sampling techniques are used to select samples. Social media had been used by companies to provide information, services, and products related to tourism, and it was utilized by tourists to share information about their traveling experiences. Nowadays, tourists have become more selective and critical in selecting their destinations as they have become good observant in finding adequate information about certain destinations before deciding to visit the place. This reaction can be influenced by positive eWOM communication, positive image, and trust given to certain tourist destinations. Therefore, improving the number of visits requires the management of certain tourism service companies to apply proper marketing strategy and provide various advantages and best service quality to attract more visitors and give satisfaction to visitors.

  • Information security breach is a major risk in e-learning. This study presents the potential information security disruptions in Learning Management Systems (LMS) from the perspective of users. We use the Technology Acceptance Model approach as a user perception model of information security, and the results of a questionnaire comprising 44 questions for instructors and students across Indonesia to verify the model. The results of the data analysis and model testing reveals that lecturers and students perceive the level of information security in the LMS differently. In general, the information security aspects of LMSs affect the perceptions of trust of student users, whereas such a correlation is not found among lecturers. In addition, lecturers perceive information security aspect on Moodle is and Google Classroom differently. Based on this finding, we recommend that institutions make more intense efforts to increase awareness of information security and to run different information security programs.

  • The purpose of this paper is to identify factors that influence knowledge sharing and determine the attitudes of quantity surveyors towards knowledge sharing based on the factors. The analysis was based on an online questionnaire survey of Registered Quantity Surveyors from Selangor and Kuala Lumpur. Individualism and collectivism were identified as two major factors that influence attitude towards knowledge sharing. Indicators of individualism include individual attitude, competitiveness, care, incentives and rewards; while the indicators of collectivism are trust, social behaviors and motivation. The findings show that the level of attitudes towards knowledge sharing among quantity surveyors is generally high under enabling organizational environment. However, this is a cautious conclusion as the valid sample on which the analysis is based is relatively small. Willingness to share was found to be highest when incentives and rewards are involved as well as when there is a knowledge management system to promote continuous learning and sharing of knowledge.
