Chemical 공장 안전사고의 Human-Error 방지에 대한 연구 (A Study for Human-Error Prevention of Chemical Plant Safety Accident)

  • The chemical factory deals with dangerous element and more advance, human-error analyzes and becomes effective research for the country and region. This paper analysis the form of work-miss on human-error according to a safety accident for domestic chemical factory from 1999-2002. It include the present contents and raise issues human knowledge, behavior, judgment, sensibility as an important counter plan that makes the safety solution of work miss. For the point of view of human knowledge, it takes color standard for works to be effective in work place. For behavior, the test has been for risk Point of work place and infra worker movement, also the workers performed professional work as classify according to work. For judgement, the valuation sheet is reflected to minimize the human-error and the 3rd supervisor does a cross-check audit beforehand. For sensibility, it is applicable for human relations, information, communication by program to the consciousness and an attitude of worker-supervisor.

  • There have been some studies about hybrid production system, which integrate push system and pull system. Most of them are based on the simple production system considering one product line. Though there are many studies about hybrid production system, it\`s not practical to implement them for real factory, because most of them did not consider various factors about real factory. On this study we designed hybrid production system considering some factor - one is automatic kanban generation, the other is dispatching rule for Multi-tasking worker, and the last one is the priority of kanban. At last, We give simulation results fur a real company, which produce various cameras in Korea.

  • This study concerns with an ergonomic approach for improving the workplace of an air-conditioner factory. If work tasks and equipments do not include ergonomic principles in their design, workers may have exposure to undue physical stress, strain, and overexertion, including awkward postures, forceful exertions, repetitive motion, and heavy lifting. The purpose of this study is to improve the safety, comfort, and efficiency of the workplace. Adapting tasks, work stations, tools, and equipments to fit the worker can help reduce physical stress on a worker's body and enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of workplace.

  • The first national QC Circle Convention sponsored by Industry Advancement Administration in 1975 was the beginning of employees group activity from a national point of view. Subsequently some events such as the firs Nationwide Factory Seamaul activity small Group Convention, which was supervised by the ministry of Trading and Industry and Factory Seamaulundong promotion Center, paved the way for proliferation of the group activity through all kinds of manufacturing. Although since November 1982 these two conventions has been united, many problems have been disclosed that are against the basic principles more or less. Worker's group activity is, essentially, a trouble shooting oriented voluntary small group within their working place to improve the surroundings creatively. In practice, however, many groups are so typical and so impetuous of the material effect that it is worried to be inclined to outform rather than contents. To prevent this point it is recommended that worker's group activity be promoted continuously and on the basis of the original principle of small group activity to obtain practical and rich results, and systematically to be more effective and active considering the managerial environment and the intellectual level of the consisting members.

AI 엣지 디바이스를 이용한 스마트 팩토리 시스템 설계 (The Design of Smart Factory System using AI Edge Device)

  • 본 논문에서는 AI 엣지 디바이스를 이용한 스마트 팩토리 위험도 개선시스템 및 위험도 개선방법을 설계한다. 스마트 팩토리 위험도 개선시스템은 AI 엣지 디바이스를 이용하여 스마트 팩토리에서 작업자의 작업수행 과정을 수집, 분석, 예방 및 신속 대처하고, 작업자의 작업 수행시 불량률을 개선하면서 작업시 발생 가능한 위험을 저감할 수 있다. 특히 작업자 이미지 정보, 작업자 생체정보, 장비 구동 정보 및 제조된 제품의 품질정보에 기초하여 위험도 이상 조건을 설정할 수 있고, 효율적이고 정확도 높은 작업이 되도록 위험도 개선이 가능하다. 또한 스마트 팩토리 내부의 카메라 및 IoT 센서 등에서 수집된 데이터는 모두 클라우드로 보내지 않고 AI 엣지 디바이스에서 처리하고, 필요한 데이터만 클라우드 등으로 전송할 수 있으므로 처리 속도가 빠르고, 보안에 관한 문제가 적다는 장점이 있다. 추가적으로 AI 엣지 디바이스를 사용함으로써 클라우드로 데이터 전송량이 감소하여 데이터 통신비 및 데이터 전송 대역폭을 확보하는 비용이 절감되는 장점이 있다.

유리섬유 단열재 제조업 근로자의 공기중 유리섬유 폭로 특성 및 평가 방법에 관한 연구 (Characterization and Evaluation of Worker s Exposure to Airborne Glass Fibers in Glass Wool Manufacturing Industry)

  • To characterize worker's exposure to glass fibers, to find the correlation between airborne total dust concentrations and fiber concentrations and to recommend an appropriate evaluation method for worker's exposure to fibrous dusts in glass wool industry, we carried out this study. Average respirable fiber levels at five factories were 0.013-0.056 f/cc, and fairly below the OSHA PEL, 1 f/cc. A factory showed the lowest airborne fiber level, 0.013 f/cc, which was different significantly from those of other factories of which average fiber concentration was 0.046 f/cc. The cutting and grinding operations of insulation products resulted in higher airborne fiber cocentrations than any other processes(p<0.05). To characterize airborne fiber dimension, fiber length and diamter were determined using phase contrast microscope. The geometric means of airborne fiber lengths were $42-105 \mu m$. One factory had airborne fibers whose length distribution(GM = $105 \mu m$) was different from those of other factories(GM = $42-50 \mu m$). The percentages of respirable fibers less thinner than 3 gm were 38.9-90.9% at four factories, and two factories of them had the higher percentages than others. The findings explain for variation of airborne fiber diameters between factories. On the other hand, between the processes were the difference of fiber-length distributions observed. The cutting and grinding operations showed shorter fiber-length distributions than the fiber forming one. However, fiber-diameter distributions or respirable fiber contents were similar in all processes. The airborne fiber concentrations and the dust concentrations had relatively weak correlation(r=0.25), thus number of fibers couldn't be expected reliably from dust amount. Fiber count is appropriate for assessing accurate exposures and health effects caused by fibrous dusts including glass fibers. Ministry of Labor have established occupational exposure limit to glass fibers as nuisiance dust, but should establish it on the basis of respirable fiber concentration to provide adequate protection for worker's health

Man-Machine Interface Device for Dismantling Factory

  • In dismantling factories for recycling, it is important to input actual working data to a personal computer (PC) in order to monitor the work results and related recycling rate of the inputs. This should be performed with a keyboard, a mouse, or other devices. But when a worker is working in the factory, it could be bothersome or time consuming to go to the PC. Especially, workers who works at dismantling factories have a generally low education level are scared to use a PC, which could be used as a pretext for not using the PC. In some cases, data input is performed by a worker after the day's job. In this case, it could take additional time, the worker can make more mistakes, and the data could be unreliable. In this study, we developed a man-machine interface (MMI) device using a safety helmet. A joystick-like device, pushbuttons, and a radio frequency (RF) device for wireless communication is equipped in a safety helmet. This MMI device has functions similar to a PC mouse, and it has a long communication distance. RF is used because it consumes less battery power than Bluetooth. With this MMI device, workers need not go to a PC to input data or to control the PC, and they can control the PC from a long distance. The efficiency of PCs in a factory could be increased by using the developed MMI system, and workers at the dismantling factories could have less reluctance in using the PC.

  • Smart Factory is a part of and a key point of the 4th industrial revolution. It performs optimization from the whole viewpoint, using comprehensive data of the post-process data by utilizing various sensors, controllers, and mobile devices beyond the existing factory automation level. In this paper, we design and implement an IoT platform that can detect the safety factors of the workers, the environmental factors of the factory, and real time monitoring at the control center, among the fields to implement smart factory. To accomplish this, we construct a monitoring device that provides sensor information control, server transmission of sensor information, and visualization of collected information. By using this system, it is possible to maintain the temperature and humidity for the optimum working environment in the factory. and also, By using the beacon, it is possible to measure the working time of the worker and trace the position.

멀티터치 기술과 영상인식 기술 기반의 스마트 팩토리 플랫폼 (Smart Factory Platform based on Multi-Touch and Image Recognition Technologies)

  • 본 연구에서는 팩토리 작업장에 설치된 여러 종류의 멀티터치 기술 기반 센서로부터 수집된 이벤트와 데이터를 제공함으로써 작업장의 상태 감시와 이벤트 관리를 용이하게 할 수 있는 플랫폼을 개발하였다. 영상인식 기술을 활용하여 팩토리 작업장 내 사람들의 얼굴을 인식하여 작업자별 맞춤형 콘텐츠를 제공하며, 얼굴인식을 통한 개별 작업자 인증으로 콘텐츠 보안을 강화하도록 하였다. 제스처 인식을 통한 콘텐츠 제어 기능을 구축하여 작업자가 간단하게 문서를 검색할 수 있도록 하였고, 모바일 장치에서도 얼굴인식 기능을 구현하여 작업자를 위한 콘텐츠 제공이 가능하게 하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 작업장 안전, 콘텐츠 보안, 작업자 편의 등을 향상시키는데 이용할 수 있으며 향후 스마트 팩토리 구축을 위한 기반기술로 활용할 수 있다.
