농도실측 및 연료 성분조성에 의한 중소형 RPF 소각시설의 온실가스 배출계수 개발 (The Development of Emission Factors of Greenhouse Gas from Middle and Small-Scaled RPF Incineration Facility by Concentration Measurement and Fuel Composition)

  • This study was carried out to develop for the emission factor of greenhouse gas (GHG) from medium and smallscaled incineration facility using RPF which is considering as a part of renewable energy in UNFCC. The actual concentration of the exhaust gas and the fuel composition of RPF were measured for the calculation of GHG emission factor in RPF incinerators, and were compared with the IPCC guideline. The $CO_2$ and $N_2O$ emission factors by the actual concentration of exhaust gas were $2.3575{\pm}1.0070tCO_2/tRPF$ and $0.0014{\pm}0.0014tN_2O/tRPF$ respectively. Also, $CO_2$ emission factor by the RPF composition was $2.7057{\pm}0.0540tCO_2/tRPF$. The GHG emission factor per energy by the actual concentration was $83.0867{\pm}26.0346tCO_2e/TJ$ which showed higher consistency with the GHG emission factor ($80.3967tCO_2e/TJ$) of waste plastic in the IPCC guideline (2006b). The $CO_2$ and $N_2O$ emission factor calculated in this study is considered as a meaningful data for GHG emission factor of RPF incineration facility because of not being developed in ROK.

  • 전기 기관차 중수선 시설과 같이 복잡한 시스템의 설계 변수와 중요 변수 최적화는 수리적인 형태로 분석하는 것이 매우 어려운 작업이 된다. 본 논문에서는 메타 모델의 개념을 시뮬레이션 근사 모델에 적용하여 설계 변수와 중요 변수의 최적화를 수행하였다. 시뮬레이션 설계를 위하여 Critical Path 분석과 민감도 분석 수행하여 설계 변수와 실험 횟수를 줄이기 위하여 노력을 하였다. 시뮬레이션 분석은 다 목적 비선형 계획법을 구성한 후 파레토 최적해 집합을 산출하여 설계자에게 다중 대안의 해 집합을 제시하여 실제 시스템의 적용에 대한 유동성을 제공하려고 노력하였다. 본 논문에서 제시 된 기법은 열차 중수선 시설의 설계 및 분석에 있어서 시뮬레이션과 메타 모델을 이용한 하나의 방법으로 이용이 가능 할 것이다.

집'으로서의 노인보호주택 사례연구 (Case Study of Assisted Living Facility (ALF) as a 'Home')

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the features that make residents feel “at home” in ALFs in Southwest Virginia and to suggest further policy and design guidelines for better Quality of ALFs as a “home.” For this purpose, residents' needs, experiences, and opinions of the physical environment, the social environment, and the organizational environments such as policies and programs of ALFs were identified. As a multi-case study, five ALFs in Southwest Virginia were studied using constant comparative methos of data analysis. In addition to face-to-face interviews with 25 residents and five administrators of five ALFs, observations were conducted with personal journal. Overall, the five sites selected presented homelike features showing the philosophy of assisted living which combines housing and services. Each facility was designed to be a single-family house or multi-family dwelling in outside appearance. As a whole, residents felt isolation and loneliness and they did not have active interaction with other residents because of diverse background among the residents. However, all of them had close relationships with the staff. The staff's attitude and behavior seemed to influence greatly the residents' feeling “at home.” Despite the provision of diverse activities by the facilities, many residents did not participate in the programs. Most of the residents agreed that the rule and regulations were fair. In spite of high satisfaction with the facility, many people did not think of their current dwelling as a real ‘home.’ As the biggest difference between living in their own homes and living in the ALF, people pointed out a lack of independence, freedom, and autonomy. Residents of ALFs may have reordered their priorities in their current life situation so that safety, security, and care were more important to them than feeling “at home.” Among the three factors --physical, social, and organizational-- that affect the residents' perception of ALFs as a “home, ” many emphasized the importance of social factors such as relationships with the staff and residents, and social support from their family or friends.

탄약시험장의 강재 방호구조물 적용성 분석 연구 (Feasibility Study of a Corrugated Steel Protective Structure for Ammunition Test Facility)

  • 국내 탄약 시험장과 군의 포탄 사격 훈련장은 잦은 사격과 폭발 실험으로 인해 충격파와 파편 등의 유해인자가 발생한다. 이에 따라 지역 주민의 민원이 급증하고 있으며 근접한 시설물과 인명피해의 위험이 크다. 최근 건설된 탄약 시험장은 부지확보 제한에 따라 반경 300 m 이내의 좁은 지역에서 화포 사격 및 로켓 추진기관 연소시험 시설을 구축하였으나 적절한 방호구조물이 없어 시설물 피해가 누적되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 화포 사격 및 로켓추진기관 실험 간 발생하는 소음, 진동, 충격파, 열 효과 등 유해인자에 대한 정량적 데이터를 측정하고 폭발 압력 특성을 분석하여 탄약 시험장의 강재 방호구조물 적용 연구를 수행하였다.

Dose analysis of nearby residents and workers due to the emission accident of gaseous radioactive material at the spent resin mixture treatment facility

  • The dose from a possible accident at a microwave-based spent resin mixture treatment facility that was to be installed and operated at the Wolsong nuclear power plant was analyzed to evaluate the radiological safety prior to its installation and operation. The dose to which workers and nearby residents are likely to be exposed was calculated based on the atmospheric dispersion and deposition factors using the XOQDOQ code. The highest atmospheric dispersion factors were 1.349E-05 s/m3 (workers) and 1.534E-06 s/m3 (residents). The highest doses due to emissions from the mock-up tank before operation were 1.91E-06 mSv (workers) and 1.78E-07 mSv (residents). Even after 3 h of operation, emissions from the mock-up tank had the greatest impact ranging from 4.63E-08 to 1.24E-06 mSv (workers) and 2.74E-10 to 1.16E-07 mSv (residents), respectively. The doses were 7.09E-09-4.55E-07 mSv and 4.18E-11-4.25E-08 mSv at 4-5 h of operation, and the maximum doses after operation reached 5.69E-07 mSv and 5.31E-08 mSv for the workers and residents, respectively. Even at the exclusion area boundary (EAB), 4.76E-08-9.51E-07 mSv (annual dose:9.52E-05–1.90E-03 mSv/y) was below the dose limit of the EAB, and the safety of the facility installation inside the NPP was confirmed.

한·일 국립대학 시설 기준 및 캠퍼스 면적 비교·분석 (A Comparison Analysis on the Facility Standards and Campus Sizes of the National Universities in Korea and Japan)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라와 교육제도적 측면에서 많은 유사성이 있으며, 대학입학자원 감소라는 문제를 한국보다 먼저 맞이하여 대응하고 있는 일본과 한국의 국립대학교 시설기준 및 국가수준의 대학시설 관련 정책, 실제 대학 캠퍼스 사례를 조사, 분석하였다. 이를 통해 대학시설에 대한 양국의 국가 차원의 접근방식과 기본 철학의 차이점을 살펴보고, 향후 대학 캠퍼스 계획 수립 시 주요 계획요소 및 개선방향을 파악하고자 하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 한국은 주요 현안이나 이슈를 중심으로 한 개별 프로젝트별로 대학시설 관련 정책을 추진하는 경향이 있는 반면 일본은 5년마다 국립대학시설 관련 정비계획을 수립하여 종합적이고 중장기적인 계획에 따라 국립대학시설 정책을 추진하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 사례조사를 통해 본 양국의 대학시설 면적의 경우, 일본의 사례조사 대학의 평균 대학시설 면적이 한국의 사례조사 대학의 평균 대학시설 면적에 비해 약 5.6%, 일본의 학생 1인당 대학시설 면적이 한국보다 약 13% 넓은 것으로 나타났다. 일본 대학시설의 전체 연면적도 한국보다 20.7% 정도 크고, 일본의 학생 1인당 대학시설 면적이 한국보다 56.7%가량 넓은 것으로 조사되었다. 반면, 지원시설 중 기숙사의 경우 한국의 기숙사 전체 층 면적이 일본보다 2.5배 넓었고, 기숙사 수용률은 한국이 일본보다 5.6% 높은 특징을 보였다. 셋째, 두 나라의 대학시설 기준 항목과 제도는 비슷하지만 학생정원 산정 방법, 계열구분, 교사 및 교지면적 산정 방식 등은 두 나라 간에 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

고객서비스를 고려한 물류센터의 시장영역 (Market Area of Distribution Center concerned with Customer Service)

  • Because the structure of the economy is being changed from product-oriented and company-centered economy to service-oriented and customer-centered economy, and the market competition is varying with the competition of non-price factors, the importance for customer service of logistics system is being increased. Thus, the level of customer service should be represented as an element of the logistics decision and the facility location decision. The level of customer service provided by logistics system has an effect on customers\` purchase decisions, hence on the market demand. That is, the market demand is elastic for customer service as it is influenced by product price. Considering the effect of customer service on demand, this study develops the market area which each facility will serve. That area is circular, and distance norm is considered Euclidean and Rectilinear (or Manhattan) distance norm. The market demand for product at a particular area is affected by the level of customer service that facility provides, and the relationship between the market demand and the level of customer service is represented with a mathematical function.

지속가능한 학교시설을 위한 실내환경 계획 요소에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Planning of Indoor Environment Factors for Sustainable School Facility)

  • Global environment is getting deteriorated at an alarming rate. Eco-school could be one of the effective solutions to project our environment and a good sample of architecture to economize in total energies, resources and greenhouse gases. In case of our country, the study of eco-school planning is not sufficient compared with other countries, so this paper would be a good study on the indoor environment of the classroom by surveying their opinions and ideas from the group of users in school facility. The result of this study shows that the proper installation of building equipment and nature ventilation system is necessary to provide delightful environment for the students and to save the energy. To ensure that we have adequate saving and protection it is necessary to change the existing appraisal standard.

동작분석과 설비 재배치를 통한 생산성 향상 방안 : 사례연구 (Productivity Improvement Plan Using Motion Analysis and Facility Relocation : Case Study)

  • Today's fierce competition and global economic recession make most of manufacturing companies in the world difficult to gain a profit. In order to survive such a environment and increase competitiveness, manufacturing companies have to continuously eliminate their wasteful factors through an efficient process analysis, improve quality of products, increase the flexibility of manufacturing processes. In this paper, we consider a case study for the Shanghai New Auto which is a subcontractor of MOBIS in China, to improve productivity by using therblig method, one of the motion analysis, to minimize the work-in-process inventories and to shorten the manufacturing cycle times. We also try to relocate the facility layout to increase the efficiency and flexibility of manufacturing processes.

Hydrogen Behavior at a Subcomparment in The Containment Building

  • For hydrogen management in severe accidents with degraded nuclear core of PWR's, several experiments have been performed in the SNU hydrogen mixing facility. The objectives are understanding the extent of hydrogen mixing and analyzing the effects of factors which dominate uniform or non-uniform mixing at compartments in the containment building. The facility represents on a 1/11th linearly scaled model of the YGN unit 3&4, hydrogen was simulated by helium. Because there are the gaps between safety injection tank and compartment layers in the containment, the test facility was constructed in three dimentinal mode for analyzing of mixture behavior through the gaps. From the experimental results we could conclude that overall hydrogen concentration distributed uniformly in the free volume of the test compartment, but fluctuated in the gaps. This paper is focused on experimental result from several experiment.
